DIGIMON ADVENTURE:2020 SPOILERS!!!!

Hi and welcome to my 'Vote Taiora soulmates 2k21' series. This post is basically part 3 of that. I'm a mess, I know...

PERSONAL NOTE: Once again me here saying that yes this is Taiora and no that doesn't mean I'm trying to sell romantic!Taiora like it's some kind of truth. I just highly believe they are soulmates and soulmates don't have to be romantic AT ALL. Even better, your soulmate can be your platonic best friend while you're in a romantic relationship with someone completely else. Just saying.

And yes, I am a Taiora shipper and I do see and adore the romantic potential of these two. But that doesn't mean everyone has to see it. Platonic!Taiora is beautiful and precious and that's something I vouch for!

There has been floating so much negativity on the internet regarding the Digimon Adventure reboot and even though I'm not loving it either, there are some things I enjoy. I already once pointed out I really like the soundtrack, hell, I even made this little choreography on the theme song for @digiweek 2021 day 3 (prompt music). But that aside, in this post I want to spread some love for the Taiora portrayal in the series, because let's face it, they are super soft (and pretty much ride or die) for each other!

I could ramble and talk about things... OR I could just bomb you guys with the screencaps I gathered! I mean, those reboot 2020 kids don't talk and bicker as much as their original 1999 counterparts do, so why should I?

And you know what 2020!Taichi and 2020!Sora are really good at? Having the same (s o f t) facial expressions to each other, radiating the same energy, touching and physically supporting each other because they are soulmates~. See it for yourself :D

It starts with Taichi looking at his bestie Sora to check if she's safe on the DIY raft while listening to the sweet conversation about fighting together she just had with her newfound Digimon partner in episode 4.

Look at that proud bestie grin. Such a cutie.

Then fast forward to how they are supportingly touchy together..! Two times, in episode 32 and 36. I mean, what's up with that??! Go hug each other already like true childhood bffs do nowadays.

I sense proud mom and dad vibes, what about you? (Also note Piyomon and Agumon in the left one, such cuties <3)

Next up, in episode 37, is Sora being SUPER ride or die for Taichi literally jumping into the water true superhero style to safe the day.! And safe Taichi and Agumon from their stupidity (which is like super low key stupidity compared to OG!Taichi)

This is my personal favorite, episode 40, Sora talking all fast and excited about the passion they share, football/soccer (<- this depends on where you live, I prefer to say football because you play that ball with your damn foot!!!), and how she just LOVES playing it with HIM.

And Taichi is all like "Hell yeah girl, of course I can tell! Preach"

Then in the same episode we find these two pearls (among many other pearls, just go watch that episode yourself already)! Sora looking all soft and concerningly happy to have found her berry-fied bestie. And Sora being glinstering-eyes-happy (like, is she crying??) to see that said bestie back to his human self again!

Okay. There is episode 50, the one with the music I liked and where Taichi resurrects/just resurrected for the big fight and the kiddos trapped in the black ball in the mouth of Milleniummon all scream his name for Taichi to resurrect ONCE AGAIN talking about suffering from portagonist-trope-disease huh?. There are three people Taichi hears screaming his name seperated from the rest and it's rival lover Yamato, baby sis Hikari and CHILDHOOD BESTIE SORA. And let me tell you, when I'd heard her screaming his name in the agonizing way she did, yes, I would have resurrected too if I were Taichi.

Then we of course have that whole Hououmon 'safety first' episode 52. See me ranting and screaming about it in my 'part 1' of this series.

And THEN it's time for the most recent episode, episode 62, where Taichi and Sora reunite and Sora gives Taichi THIS SOFT FACE after she says "The Chosen Ones aren't just here to fight, you know?"

And you know what's the best part? After the fight with Shakkoumon, which isn't really a fight with Sora following her own words and instead of fighting the Mon talking herself into the heart of the Mon, Taichi REPEATS Sora's words by saying "The role of the Chosen Ones isn't just to fight, huh..." followed by Taichi giving Sora HIS SOFT FACE!!

I'mma repeat myself, but find yourself a guy that looks at you the way Taichi looks at Sora. SO SOFT. OH MY GOD, TAICHI MARRY ME PLEASE. (No please don't, that's weird x'D) I swear, they even tilt their head in the same freaking angle!! This could be cheap animation suffering from 'same face syndrom', but I like to believe that Taichi has watched her, seen the expression she gave him and literally M I R R O R E D I T. This was the whole episode for me, best thing ever.

Also, in that same episode we see THIS:

Even their digimon partners are super ride or die for each other..!! If I had to ship digimon with each other, it would definitely be Agumon and Piyomon (and Gomamon, I'll get to that in a bit). And yes, I know it's a big stretch to let Garudamon, a perfect level digimon, intercept the freaking attack from Wargreymon, an ultimate level digimon, that destroyed Milleniummon 12 episodes ago... It's a bit unbelievable, BUT a) Garudmon is a freaking badass, b) THAT'S WHAT BESTIES DO! And the fact Sora is pretty much ride or die for Taichi, means Piyomon/Garudamon is pretty much ride or die for Agumon/Wargreymon too, no matter the evolution level.

Also, let me point out this little scene under water in episode 35 where Piyomon teases Agumon. Really, I think that's so cute and vouches for the friendship they mirror from the friendship their human partners have!

Actually, isn't it funny that the humans in the reboot hardly tease each other and bicker compared to the original cast and it's the digimon who took over the teasing?

Last but not least, there's one picture left, the end of episode 43. Piyomon and Agumon asleep leaning into each other for support (and Gomamon being cute joining this weird-ass digimon-OT3 I just love!) while on the very right of the frame we see Taichi and Sora laughing/talking together in a super cute way, probably talking about their profound friendship and how they will be football buddies and besties for life :') Also important: they are the only humans in this scene (and then I'm talking about the others not present in this frame too) that are 'seperated' from and not focusing on their digimon, instead they are focusing on each other.

So there you have it. Okay, there might be more moments, but hey, I only get 10 pics per post. If you still don't believe in these two being soulmates in some kind of way... I have no idea how to convince you otherwise.

2008:

Replay (obviously) is just pure SHINee essence at its finest in my opinion. Sweet and cute and catchy all at once. Timeless.

Love Should Go On it’s kinda funky, lots of minkey rapping which is just *chef’s kiss* but also the added plus of baby Taemin rapping as well, plus jongyu’s beautiful vocals. Idk there’s just something about this song that I’ve always adored. Maybe because it features all five members’ voices in ways that worked for them, which wasn’t super typical in the earlier albums since Taemin’s voice was still developing. Adorable.

2009:

Ring Ding Dong (yes I’m picking it over Juliette it was a rough decision but I did it) it’s just such typical SHINee in the sense that it’s a timeless bop, everyone knows it, everyone remembers it. Everyone knows NEVER to listen to it before an exam (which I learned the hard way in college bc I thought it was fake as fuck but then haha middle of a history final mumbling ringadingdingding elastic fantastic in my gotdamn head it’s a miracle I passed that exam lmao)

Romeo+Juliette it’s not like a super popular song I don’t think? But again, there’s just something about it that’s so purely SHINee. The beat, the way they sing so well together, the way their voices just match & compliment each other’s so well? It’s a little slower paced, but you could definitely still dance along to it. Kinda sensual I guess? A good teeny bopper song by a teeny bopper band of teeny bopper boys. Was my absolute favorite song all through high school lmao the way jonnghyun’s voice is so soft yet powerful at the same time? Spectacular.

2010:

Lucifer I mean it’s just obvious again like Replay, it’s what dragged me into the pits of Kpop hell. Everyone knows Lucifer. It’s quintessential Kpop at this point. Taemin’s dang stripey shirt hypnotized me in that dance practice Istg.

A-Yo is sweet and funny and silly and still so so good all at the same time. Taemin essentially calls you a dumbass in the first like 45 seconds but manages to do it sounding sweet as could be. Really uplifting. Catchy. Easy to sing along to. Listen to it whenever you’re sad and I’m telling you it’s instant happiness. Minho actually gets to sing in it and his voice is just lovely I adore this song with my whole heart. It’s lighthearted and fun. SHINee to me had always just been a group that’s uplifting and comforting, and this song is, in my opinion, the greatest example of that.

2011 (they didn’t have any Korean releases in 2011 so bonus songs from earlier years!)

The SHINee World (Doo-Bop) [2008] I mean I feel like this is self explanatory. Dibidibidiss my name is Minho.

Jo Jo [2009] again, SHINee’s just good at happy fun sweet songs. Jo Jo is always fun to sing along to.

Electric Heart [2010] is a bit darker in the way it feels. Very sensual. Breathy voices and all that. I was super obsessed with this song in high school as well idk. A nice look at SHINee transitioning into a bit more of a mature group, breaking away from the typical teeny bopper boyband vibe. Still funky fresh tho.

2012:

Sherlock aside from being the only title track from 2012 lmao SHINee have often mentioned this was when they felt like they really started acting like a Team and relying on each other more heavily. This was also when the Cold War took place but I personally don’t remember seeing any of it, so to me, Sherlock was just a cool song with a cool dance and Taemin having a terrible weave (and I got in trouble during an after school religion class bc I showed my friend Taemin’s shirtless promo pic and the Youth Leader thought it was porn lmao)

Honesty was a song that really felt personal, idk why. Like the members singing directly to us. Soft and sweet and still so meaningful. Like I’m gonna cry just thinking abt it lmao

2013:

Everybody so 2013 is so hard bc so many good songs came out that year. Like I genuinely am having a hard time deciding, but I think Everybody is a good pick because it shows how SHINee has never been afraid to experiment with their sound. It sounds totally different than anything else they had ever put out, but it still was so SHINee. It’s powerful and it makes you pay attention and like lmao god I’m not quiet abt loving a man in uniform so the wardrobe rly did it for me. But also wow all of their vocals are so good in this song THE LONG HIGH NOTES love it love to see it.

Beautiful just seems like a good pick. Again, 2013 is jam packed with amazing songs, it’s difficult to narrow it down. But beautiful was a song that was always super comforting as well. Their high notes and the way they sing together. Idk. I adore this song.

No Korean releases in 2014 and I’m getting tired lmao so no bonuses

2015:

View of course. Still the best summer bop in existence. We really see the members start to get more involved in this song specifically, from Taemin choosing the choreographer, Jonghyun writing lyrics as always, and Key picking the wardrobe. It’s a fun lighthearted song. I still listen to it when I drive by the beach because that’s just the vibe. Definitely a turning point for them, in my opinion, because this is when I think they really become more mature? Idk how to explain it. They don’t seem like a “boyband” anymore at this point to me, they’re just a band.

An Encore genuinely brings me to tears anytime I listen to it. It’s a SHINee ballad, and a really soul crushing one at that lmao. Idk why it’s soul crushing, necessarily, it just is.

2016:

1 of 1 is funky and fun and goofy and just so so SHINee. It’s not that other groups wouldn’t be able to perform a song like 1 of 1, it’s that SHINee performed it in a way that no other group could do it. They take every song they’re given and make it theirs, really. They own it.

Beautiful Life is another song that just makes you happy. It’s a ballad and it’s sweet and Jinki wrote the lyrics why am I only just finding this out now??! It’s a beautiful life. SHINee will always remind you of why life is worth living, tbh. Minho’s voice is beautiful in this song just a fun fact.

No korean releases in 2017

2018:

Good Evening 2018 is really hard for me to pick tbh. But Good Evening is a song that’s so heartfelt and emotional and soul crushing while still being fun? Maybe I’m projecting my own feelings from the time it was released to the song itself, but whatever. Good Evening is a bop. Love it. Makes me cry literally every gotdamn time I listen to it love that love crying on the freeway blasting this song it’s great.

Undercover was a personal favorite. Tbh a lot of the songs released in 2018 were very hard for me to listen to, and I still haven’t listened to all of them. I just can’t do it yet. But Undercover was fun and funky and idk, that’s just what SHINee is all about.

No releases in 2019 or 2020

2021:

Atlantis listen, this is also a hard decision. Don’t Call Me is quintessential SHINee in the way that it strays from the norm, it’s them trying something entirely new to them, but Atlantis feels like coming home after being away for a long time. It’s not that it’s the same kind of song they usually do, but there’s just something about that’s so familiar and comfortable.

Area is a song I cannot listen to without crying my eyes out. Doesn’t matter how many times I listen to it, doesn’t matter what time of day it is, doesn’t matter what I’m doing. It’s a beautiful song written by Minho and we all know it’s for Jonghyun. And that’s what SHINee is all about, too. It’s about the five of them being together, working together, being a team. The song makes me cry, sure, but it’s a good kind of cry. Also their voices are so beautiful as always.

HONORABLE MENTION

I fucking love Body Rhythm [2021] we all know I love Body Rhythm I feel personally victimized by Minho for promising a Body Rhythm performance and NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH I still nag him abt it on bubble idgaf. Jin always looked forward to dinner time. Not because it was an excuse to stuff his face or because he got to refine his cooking skills, but because it was when you and him got to spend some quality time together.

He would ask you about your day, you would tell him little stories and anecdotes as he listened with stars in his eyes, soaking up every little detail you were willing to share. It was when you were the most talkative and willing to pay attention to him.

Ever since he had taken you (well, the right word is kidnapped but Jin would never admit that), you had been extremely quiet and reserved. At first, Jin thought it was out of fear, so he gave you time to adjust. But now, after months and months of living under his roof, he was starting to get impatient.

He wanted you to give in already. He wanted you to need him the way he needed you. He wanted you to greet him at the door when he came home from work and hug him like he’d been missing for days. A perfect little housewife.

“Y/N.” Jin said, trying to get you to look up from your phone. It couldn’t make calls or use the internet, but Jin allowed you to play puzzle games and do your writing in a word document.

“Y/N.” He said again.

You hadn’t touched your food. Jin had spent hours slaving away in the kitchen to prepare your favorite meal, hoping it might cheer you up.

Your head was bent low, eyes staring down at the small device cradled in your hands like a bird with a dead wing. This was your only escape, this was your only outlet.

“Y/N!” Jin shouted, banging his fists on the table.

You jolted in your seat, whipping your head up to look at him with wide, frightened eyes.

Jin pushed himself up out of his chair and stomped over to you. He towered over your huddled form as dark, angry eyes burned into your forehead.

“Give it to me.” He ordered.

Bowing your head in submission, you handed it over.

Turning on his heel, Jin stalked into the kitchen, drawing a key out of his pocket. He unlocked one of the drawers and tossed the phone inside, slamming it closed and locking it again securely. It was where Jin stored all your confiscated items.

He walked over to the table and sat back down. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and relaxed his tight jaw. When he opened his eyes again, they were as calm as the sea after a storm.

Jin flashed a warm smile.

“How was your day, darling?” He asked, voice soft.

You were still sitting there in shocked silence.

“Eat, sweetheart. Your food’s getting cold.”

It was well after two in the morning when Yoongi came out of his studio and into the office. You were hunched over your laptop. The room was dark, and the only source of light was the wide computer screen, casting a dull glow over your features. Yoongi had been working for hours, but he was called away from his music by the nagging ache deep in his gut. He missed you, and he needed you now.

“Y/N?” He said quietly, not wanting to startle you.

“What.” Your voice was monotone, flat. It matched your lifeless eyes as they flickered over the screen.

“I’m done working.” He said.

You didn’t look away from your laptop.

“I wanted to spend some time with you before we go to sleep.”

No reaction.

“Come on, let’s go cuddle in bed.”

You tapped away at the keyboard.

“Give me five minutes.” You said, not even bothering to look at him.

Yoongi clenched his jaw.

“You’ve been writing for hours.” He said simply, trying to hold back.

“So. You’ve been producing for hours.”

He felt his eyes narrow.

“Don’t talk to me like that.” He snapped, but you just rolled your eyes.

That did it.

Yoongi shot forward, grabbing your wrist and slamming your laptop shut.

“You have twenty seconds to get your ass in bed or I’m taking away your computer privileges. If it gets in the way of you paying attention to me, then you obviously don’t deserve to have it.”

“Y/N! I’m home!” Hobi’s voice carried through the apartment up to your bedroom, ringing in your ears like a death sentence. He wasn’t supposed to be home this early! What was he doing here?!

With your heart thundering in your chest, you rushed to shove your phone under the sheets before Hoseok’s heavy footsteps reached the threshold.

He appeared in the doorway with a firm expression on his face.

“Honey, what are you doing in here?”

You were supposed to be waiting by the front door when he returned home, ready to shower him in hugs and cuddles and exclamations of how much you missed him.

“I was just…taking a nap.” You said, hoping he wouldn’t notice the shakiness in your voice. You were on restriction right now, that meant no phone. You could feel the lump in the blankets from where the device rested near your thigh.

Hoseok raised an eyebrow at you.

“Oh really? You won’t mind if I join you, then?”

Your stomach twisted. How does he always know when something’s up?

Hoseok settled into bed next to you, snaking an arm around your waist with a vice-like grip. It didn’t take him long to feel the weight of the object pressed between you.

With a fake confused expression, he reached beneath the sheets to pull the phone out and inspect it.

“What’s this doing here?” He said, furrowing his brows in exaggeration.

You stayed silent, sitting there like a terrified statue.

“Baby, you know you’re on restriction.”

You kept your mouth shut, gritting your teeth behind pressed lips.

Hoseok threw the phone across the room. It collided with the wall with a loud crack!

He set his blazing eyes on you, and you instinctively shrunk back in fear.

“Turn around and bend over. You’re going to make it up to me.”

Namjoon wasn’t stupid. He knew when you were on your phone when you weren’t supposed to be. But he allowed it to go on for a while, he gave you a false sense of hope.

He knew all about what you were getting up to. You had figured out a way to access the internet, and for the past few days you’d been researching various methods of escape, everything from plane tickets to hotel rooms.  

Namjoon let you have your fun, he let you think you were getting away with it. But then the facade came crumbling down.

You were home alone while Namjoon was at work, typing and scrolling away. You were so close. So close to being free.

Your finger hovered over the screen, thinking of what it would feel like to finally be out from under Namjoon’s thumb, to finally be your own person again.

With a burst of determination, you pressed hard on the Confirm Purchase button, effectively securing your way out of here.

Namjoon got a notification immediately. He was disappointed. He didn’t actually think you would go through it, he thought that this was just a way for you to feel rebellious. Did you really want to leave him? Did you not love him anymore.

The pang of hurt was quickly replaced by anger.

What an ungrateful brat. I provide for her, I care for her, I love her, and this is how she repays me!

Tucking his phone back into his pocket, Namjoon got up from his desk and quickly packed his things. He sped home in record time, fire burning beneath his skin with every passing second.

When he reached the house and opened the front door, he found you fast asleep on the couch.

His gaze softened upon seeing your innocent face, calm and serene while you slept. His little angel.

But then he remembered how you’d tried to get away from him, how you’d schemed behind his back and tried to play him for a fool.

Namjoon’s footsteps thundered on the tile as he stalked up to your shared bedroom, but you miraculously stayed asleep.

When you woke up, you could hear the shower running. You went upstairs to find the room empty, but not exactly how you’d left it.

The bed was freshly made, and sitting there on the sheets was Namjoon’s belt and a piece of paper. Stepping closer, you made out the words “We need to talk” in his scrawled handwriting.

The water shut off. You heard the shower door creak open.

You knew the second he walked in, just by the look on his face, that you were busted.

“Baaaaabe,” Jimin whined, tugging on your shirt from his position on the couch next to you.

Your eyes were focused on your phone screen, and if there’s one thing Jimin absolutely hates, it’s being ignored.

“Look at meeeee,” His voice was two octaves higher than normal.

“Jimin, just leave me alone. I’m trying to do something.” You snapped, shrugging him off you.

His expression fell, lips jutting out in a pout while his eyes widened to a Bambi-like size.

“I haven’t seen you all day! I just want some attention…” He sounded like a pathetic child.

You rolled your eyes, not bothering to look away from your phone.

The next time you looked at him, there were tears pooling in his eyes, making them look even bigger than they already were. His chin wobbled, lip trembling as he tried hard to hold back the water building up behind the dam.

Your heart clenched. You couldn’t help it, seeing Jimin cry always sent a pang of guilt straight to your chest, and he knew it.

Immediately setting your phone down, you turned towards him to give him your full attention.

“I’m sorry, Jimin. I didn’t mean to upset you.” You said in a soft voice, reaching out to grab his hands.

He hid his secret satisfaction, reaching up to rub his eyes and sniffling for dramatic effect.

“It’s okay…” He said, bowing his head and avoiding your eyes to make you feel even more guilt.

“What can I do to make it up to you?” You asked sincerely, rubbing the back of his hands with your thumbs.

Almost as quickly as they appeared, the tears were gone, replaced by a bright, victorious smile.

“Let’s watch a movie and cuddle! And no more phone for the rest of the day.” Jimin said.

You were slightly taken aback by his rapid change in demeanor, but let him pick up your phone and set it on the opposite side of where you were sitting.

“Okay…” You said, still recovering from the whiplash of his mood swing as he wrapped his arms around your torso and snuggled into your side. Jimin buried his face in the crook of your neck, inhaling deeply.

“Thank you, baby.”

“I said, nose to the wall.” He ordered.

You begrudgingly did as you were told with a huff. Taehyung was seated at his wide mahogany desk, feet propped up with a bundle of papers in one hand. A few minutes ago, you’d been sitting on his office couch minding your own business, playing games on your phone, when Taehyung had ordered you to come sit on his lap, claiming that you “helped him focus.” You’d rolled your eyes and ignored his request.

Taehyung had immediately grabbed your arm and dragged you over to the corner, shoving you down into a stool facing the wall for “time out.” It took everything in you not to scoff at the ridiculous title.

“When I tell you to do something, I expect it done without an attitude.” He snapped from his oversized chair.

You rolled your eyes again, a reflex at this point, and thank God you were facing the wall so he couldn’t see.

“Yes, Taehyung.” You said in a monotone voice, lacking any conviction whatsoever.

“What was that?”

“Yes, Sir.” You corrected yourself.

You couldn’t see, but you could practically feel him smirking at you.

A few minutes passed, and as time went on you felt yourself getting increasingly fidgety. You squirmed in your seat, struggling to keep your eyes focused on the one patch of wall.

Taehyung noticed, narrowing his eyes at you.

“Sit still or I’ll add fifteen minutes to your time.” He barked, looking at you over the top of his papers.

You pouted and crossed your arms over your chest.

About five minutes later, you were fidgeting again, tapping your fingernails on the legs of the stool, swinging your legs back and forth, shifting on the hard, unforgiving wood.

“Didn’t I tell you to sit still?” Taehyung said.

“I am sitting still!” You bit back. Big mistake.

Taehyung slammed the stack of papers on the tabletop, rising from his desk to sit on the couch. He planted his feet firmly in the ground and tapped his knee.

“Over my lap.” He ordered.

“What?! I didn’t do anything!”

“You want to make this worse for yourself?”

You glared at him, but hopped off the stool and trudged your way over. The second you were close enough, he grabbed your wrist and yanked you down. Now you were sprawled across his lap, wrists gripped together behind your back by one of his hands as the other held down your legs. "𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒'𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑎 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑊𝑢ℎ𝑎𝑛, 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑎 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑢𝑠—" Addison heard from the news in the living room while she was preparing food for her and her fiancè in the kitchen.

"What will we watch?" Her boyfriend, Grant asked as he put Netflix on the television, "What about Friends?" Addison suggested while sitting next to her boyfriend which made her fiancè agree.

*A Few Episodes/Hours Later*

Grant feels weight in his right shoulder which made him look over to his right, his heart swelled when he sees his girlfriend fast asleep.

He carried Addison bridal style and carried her towards their shared bedroom. He lied her down and tucked her into bed, he crouched down next to her and tucked a few pieces of hairs that was covering his girlfriend's face, kissed her in the forhead and smiled, mumbling "Goodnight, My Love".

He lied down next to her by listening to the sound of his girlfriend's soft snores.

*BEEP BEEP*

Addison woke up to the sound of her alarm clock reminding her to get ready. She looked at the clock to see what time it is, 5:02 AM it says.

She got up carefully to not wake Grant up, she went to the bathroom and took a shower, brushed her teeth and everything that a person would do to get ready. She eventually got ready and she took her purse and went dowsntairs to make coffee. As the coffee machine was starting to make her black coffee, she took her to-go cup.

She feels hands snake up to her waist, she looks behind her to see her now awake fiancè. They greeted their usual "Good Morning"s.

Her to-go cup was filled with coffee. She turned around to be face-to-face with her lover and kissed kis lips after she said "I gotta go, babe, I'm gonna be late." She said softly, "Alright babe, be careful." "I will, baby".

"Alright, See you later. I Love You, Addison Sterling" Grant said smiling as Addison responded with an "I Love You Too, Grant Willis" and with that, she was gone.

*At the Hospital*

"Good Morning, Doctor Sterling" Addison hears to her right as she sees Derek,

"Good Morning to you too, Doctor Cohn" as she now turns her head straight to where she is going towards,

"So, is your fiancè treating you well?" Derek asked with clear jelousy in his voice, "Actually, yes, Derek" before he could respond, Addison cut him up saying "I gotta go Derek, I have no time in conversing about how my fiancè is treating me, because he always treats me well." Addison said as she left the doctor standing in the hallway of the hospital.

Eventually, she saw Danielle, and they smiled at each other, "Have you heard the news, Doctor Sterling?" Danielle asked as she was catching up at her friend's walk, "Yes, are there any infected in this hospital, Doctor Villin?" Addison replied as she took a clipboard from their room which has the list of names of patients she has to check up on.

"We don't know yet, but they're testing this guy, they came eatlier this morning, they said he's been having a cold and fever recently." Danielle whispered as Addison nods slowly, "Be careful Addison, you're a resident, you're one of the nominees of being a chief. So please, I don't want my friend to be infected." The doctor said with worry laced in her voice, "I will, Danielle, be careful too, you're gonna be a certified Doctor soon." Addison replied, which makes her friend to smile,

"Well, do your thing now, I'm just gonna check up on how the babies are doing" Danielle said as she walks off to the other direction. She looks at the first name and went to that room, she put on a mask and gloves knowing that . She knocked softly and peeked her head to the door,

"Hi, I'm just gonna check up on Zack Davis?" Addison asked the woman which seems to be the mother of the guy, "Yeah, it's him." the woman said smiling softly.

As Addison was checking his IV, "When are they gonna test my son?" The woman, who is indeed the guy's mother asked the doctor, "In a few, Mrs. Davis" the girl replied with a smile, which the woman returned.

*The Testing Thing Part*

As Addison helps the other doctors to prepare stuff for the test, she couldn't help but be nervous, no one knows who else can be infected by it. "Alright, Zack, we're testing you now." Addison smiled at the patient, "Alright, Miss" he said nervously, "Oh, and, you're a really pretty Doctor" he smirked at her. The girl just smiled and replied with "Alright, we're starting now."

She rushes to the bathroom as she ferls like her heart is gonna burst out of her chest. Knowing that the guy indeed has Corona Virus,

she practically calmed her self down hoping that no one else would be infected and that he could be cured.

A week has passed and she suddenly felt ill.

She woke up at the middle of the night shivering and her head pounding. She got up and took out a thermometer and she felt as if her throat itching which made her cough a few times, but she eventually succeeded to know her temperature which says 38.5, she drank a pain killer to ease the pain in her head. and she eventually lied down next to her boyfriend and placed a pillow between them so he wouldn't get sick.

*BEEP BEEP*

She woke up to the sound of her alarm and she got up and got ready.

*At The Hospital*

Addison kept coughing walking on the way to her room (while wearing a mask, of course) and Danielle catched up to her ill friend, "Hey, you okay?" the girl asked her friend, "Not, really, my head is pounding" Addison replied feeling dizzy,

"Oh my gosh, let me check you" Danielle said with worry laced in her voice, "Okay" Addison replied.

*The Testing Thing Part*

Addison sat in her chair as her friend was testing if she has the virus. She felt like as if her heart is going to burst. And the machine showed the result she's been dreading to see.

*RING*

Grant checks his phone seeing his fiancè calling him, he replied right away not knowing the reason his lover is calling. "Hello? Babe, what's up?" The guy asked, "Hey babe.." He hears through the phone, "What's wrong?" he says worriedly noticing the trembling in his fiancè's voice. "Grant.." Addison says slowly,

"I'm positive in having Corona Virus.." the girl scaredly says, "What?" Grant says not believing what his girlfriend said, "I have Corona Virus." Addison said now crying.

Grant ran into the doors of the hospital trying to find his lover.

"Baby" the boy runs towards his girlfriend attempting to hug her, but Addison avoided her boyfriend's hug.

"Baby.." he said tearing up, "I can't, Grant, you'll be infected" Addison said as sobs went out of her mouth,

"Baby, please, just let me kiss you, love you, hug you.." he plead his girlfriend tears running down his face "Grant.." Addison was going to protest but he cut her off

"𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲, Addison just let me." He said as he finally sobbed. "Grant, I can-" Addison gets interrupted as Grant kissed her in the lips passionately, she kissed back, they pulled away slowly as she cried softly onto her lover's chest as he held her tightly, shushing her while tears were streaming down his face like a waterfall.

"Always remember.." Addison started, "I will always love you, Grant Willis, if I don't make it, find someone that will treat you like you're their whole world. Love them more than you love me." Addison said sobbing,

"I don't think I will ever find someone else, Addison.." he replied, "But, I will, always, forever ever love you, Addison Grace Sterling." He finished.

The couple spent months wanting to see each other, but they sadly can't. After the couple's love for each other, they eventually catched up with each other through the phone. Days turned into weeks then weeks turned into a month. They really wanted to see each other, but Addison didn't want Grant to risk his health so he stayed in their home.

*2 Weeks Later*

Grant woke up to the sound of his phone ringing, he groaned and checked his phone to see his lover's name across his phone. He quickly answered it, "Hello?" Grant asked as worry went through his body once again, "Mr. Willis.." a different voice went through the phone which made Grant's heart start to beat faster,

"Where's Addison? Why are you using her phone? Wh-" Grant has been cut off by the voice accross the phone as the words that he's been dreading to hear came through the phone. "Mr. Willis, Doctor Allison Sterling is dead."

Grant rushed to get inside the hospital building towards the room of his girlfriend but he was stopped by multiple doctors, "I'm sorry, Mr. Willis but we can't let you in, it's dangerous!" one of the doctors said, "Just let me see my girlfriend!" Grant screamed while getting through the group of doctors who were trying to stop him.

"Grant! Grant, Stop!" Danielle finally stopped the messed guy who was called Addison's fiancè. "Please, just let me see my fiancè! She's still alive I know it!" He kept trying to convince the doctor but he failed to do so, "Addison is dead, Grant, she's gone, and that fucking virus killed her!" Danielle told him. That's when it hit Grant like a truck. Addison is dead.

The Love of his Life is Gone, and she will never be coming back.

*2 Years Later*

Grant woke up grumpily as his wish hasn't been granted yet. (No pun intended)

She hasn't left his mind ever since he found out the his so called fiancè is dead. He went dowstairs as he hears his doorbell ringing.

oof the pd48 scandal is extremely complicated. to condense it in a few statements: all of the girls' rankings have been rigged since the very beginning and it was rumored that they already had their end group before the show even started. it was like this for pf48 and pdx101 (group x1) which was why x1 disbanded within a month of debuting, and izone were on hiatus for like 4 months. im not the best at explaining stuff like this haha, but i think you get it. you can check out yt or search up 'pd48 scandal', a ton of articles and videos. as for new groups, nothing has been made clear yet. theyve only made instagram handles for now and appeared on variety shows haha. as for acting career, hyewon was supposed to do acting but was forced to join pd48 so maybe she'll continue acting afterwards? nothing is confirmed yet!
