Sometimes people ask me about the commission.
But I'll be honest with you. I have frequent headaches due to constant work at the computer/iPad + I also have problems concentrating. Therefore, I refuse any project that requires a short deadline.
Tumblr media
If you are satisfied with slow work for 1.5-2 months. Okay!
But anything less than this period, I will most likely fail with the deadlines. I've actually already failed. And I think I should thank my current customer for his patience 🧍
Not to mention I missed deadlines for my LiuCheng comic. I somehow made it even longer…. and it doesn't help me! 😭
So I will be replacing it again with another LS comic on Boosty.

Note
I'm sorry to ask, but what do you think of LiuCheng (LQG/JC)?
Tumblr media
Ew, Liu Qingge is prototype Lan Wangji and would have less propriety and would punch him in the face actually. Only ones I would ship Liu Qingge with are Wei Wuxian and Tianlang-jun.

Is an extinct genus of ape from roughly 2 million to 350,000 years ago during the Early to Middle Pleistocene of southern China, represented by one species, Gigantopithecus blacki. Potential identifications have also been made in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The first remains of Gigantopithecus, two third molar teeth, were identified in a drugstore by anthropologist Ralph von Koenigswald in 1935, who subsequently described the ape. In 1956, the first mandible and more than 1,000 teeth were found in Liucheng, and numerous more remains have since been found in at least 16 sites. Only teeth and four mandibles are known currently, and other skeletal elements were likely consumed by porcupines before they could fossilise. Gigantopithecus was once argued to be a hominin, a member of the human line, but it is now thought to be closely allied with orangutans, classified in the subfamily Ponginae. Gigantopithecus has traditionally been restored as a massive, gorilla-like ape, potentially 200–300 kg (440–660 lb) when alive, but the paucity of remains make total size estimates highly speculative. The species may have been sexually dimorphic, with males much bigger than females. The incisors are reduced and the canines appear to have functioned like cheek teeth (premolars and molars). The premolars are high-crowned, and the fourth premolar is very molar-like. The molars are the largest of any known ape, and have a relatively flat surface. Gigantopithecus had the thickest enamel by absolute measure of any ape, up to 6 mm (a quarter of an inch) in some areas, though this is only fairly thick when tooth size is taken into account. Gigantopithecus appears to have been a generalist herbivore of C3 forest plants, with the jaw adapted to grinding, crushing, and cutting through tough, fibrous plants, and the thick enamel functioning to resist foods with abrasive particles such as stems, roots, and tubers with dirt. Some teeth bear traces of fig family fruits, which may have been important dietary components. It primarily lived in subtropical to tropical forest, and went extinct about 300,000 years ago likely because of the retreat of preferred habitat due to climate change, and potentially archaic human activity. Gigantopithecus has become popular in cryptozoology circles as the identity of the Tibetan yeti or the American bigfoot, humanlike creatures in local folklore.

Comprehensive Biography of Zhou Buyi
Zhou Buyi, styled Yuanzhi (周不疑字元直; 192 - 208), was a Chinese noble who served Cao Cao. He was a close friend of Cao Chong, but after Cao Chong died, Zhou Buyi was assassinated by Cao Cao as a potential threat.
Ancestry
Zhou Buyi came from Lingling Commandery. He was Liu Xian's nephew.[1] Another source describes his style name as Wenzhi (文直) and that he was from Chang'an.[2]
Life
Zhou Buyi was described as exceptionally talented even at a young age, being called "clever and intelligent; keen and understanding".[1] His uncle, Liu Xian, tried to have Liu Ba study with him, but Liu Ba declined, stating he was inferior and would not help Zhou Buyi.[3]
When he was 12 years old, he allegedly was summoned by Cao Cao as he heard of his intelligence. There, Cao Cao tried to have his daughter marry Zhou Buyi, only to be declined.[1][2] Cao Cao also offered to make him Consulting Gentleman, which was also declined.[4] At the time, there was an auspicious white dove. Cao Cao's poets wrote praises about it, but Cao Cao gave pen and paper to Zhou Buyi. Zhou Buyi immediately was able to write a praise about the dove, gaining even more attention from Cao Cao.[2][4]
In 207, Zhou Buyi allegedly was a strategist at the Battle of Liucheng. It is claimed Cao Cao was unable to take Liucheng so he asked his strategists what to do. Zhou Buyi drew up ten plans which allowed Cao Cao victory.[5]
Death
Cao Cao compared him favorably to his own son, Cao Chong, saying that they were both of the same talent. After Cao Chong fell ill and died in 208, however, Cao Cao began to see Zhou Buyi as a threat and wanted to kill him. Cao Pi heard about this and tried to convince his father to stop, only for Cao Cao to state, "This man will not be able to be controlled by you!" He promptly sent assassins to assassinate Zhou Buyi.[1] Zhou Buyi was 16 at the time of death.[6]

The DILF, wrote Tianlang-jun, strode forward with a perfect and manly stride, long purple robe billowing behind him. His eyes flickered with sexy electricity, the flashes of white almost as striking as the great beauty of his exquisite face. His long legs cut through the fabric of his robes like a knife to the heart.
Meanwhile, a longer knife, much more sword-shaped, in fact, cut through the purple fabric of his robes as well. This second knife- or sword, actually- was held in a strong, elegant, white-clad arm. The arm was attached to an exquisite shoulder, which was attached to an even more beautiful neck. The neck led up, gently and smoothly, to a much less gentle expression on the other cultivator's hot, sexy, arousing face. He looked like he wanted to kill the DILF. He looked perfectly capable of killing the DILF.

Orange League, Episode 28 - Tag Battle! The Final Gym!
Liucheng/Kumquat Island, home to the final Gym. It's time for Ash to face the North Star of the Southern Cross! I mean, first there's a giant Rocket mech to deal with.
Where are they getting the money for these mechs? It was an explicit plot point in the early season that the Rockets are having to operate low-budget because they're on thin ice with Giovanni. That's why they downgraded their Gyarados sub to a Magikarp sub. That they're penniless has been alluded to multiple times since.
But ever since Lugia, suddenly they can build mechs again. Did they ransack Dipshit's sky fortress after it crashed?
Whatever the case, Ash and North Star Ruriko/Luana put Team Rocket away in short order and officially begin Ash's Gym Challenge.
Luana's a bit ahead of her time. She introduces Ash to Tag Battle, a prototype for the Double Battles that will be introduced way off in Gen 3. The rules are the same as a Double Battle, except you lose as soon as either of your Pokemon gets KO'd.
Ash intends to lead with Pikachu and predicts Luana will use the Alakazam she demonstrated in the Rocket battle. He needs to come up with a counterpick.
Personally, I recommend Snorlax. Alakazam's a monster; Extremely fast and with intense Special. But they have to sacrifice physical stats and HP for that, and that's a vulnerability that can be easily exploited. Even Reflect only brings Alakazam's resistance to physical attacks up to decent.
Alakazam lacks access to Hypnosis and Thunder Wave means fuck-all to Snorlax. The reality is that Alakazam simply can't hang in the ring with Snorlax's brutal STAB Normal smashes, up to and including the Hyper Beam that they demonstrated last episode.
Ash goes with....
Tag Battle: Pikachu and Charizard vs. Alakazam and Marowak
Not a bad choice. Charizard's got some strong Normal attacks to exploit Alakazam's vulnerability, and their Flying subtype grants immunity to Marowak's STAB moves. Offensively, however, they're going to want to stick to those Normal attacks and ignore their own STAB moves; Marowak resists and Alakazam's Special, as previously mentioned, is through the roof - 135 to Charizard's 85 before EVs.
This isn't Ash's best option, but it's far from his worst (Bulbasaur). For Ash's first ever experience with Doubles-adjacent battling, this works.
Pikachu honestly seems like the weak link, especially since this format ends at the first KO. Luana could easily score a one-turn win by focus-firing Psychic and Bonemerang on Pikachu.
In any case, this definitely goes down as one of Ash's outside-the-box victories. He baits Marowak into throwing Bonemerang, then distracts them with a Thunderbolt that they resist entirely, but that pulls their attention away. This allows Charizard to lead Bonemerang into Alakazam, who is in the middle of prepping a Hyper Beam. The Bonemerang knocks out Alakazam, whose Hyper Beam misfires and takes out Marowak.
There is absolutely no mechanism for anything that just happened. But it was pretty cool.
Ash Wins!
One last destination remains before wrapping up Ash's journey in the Filler Archipelago. Onward to Kankitsu/Pummelo Island!

Single-cell #RNA sequencing reveals dysregulation of spinal cord cell types in a severe spinal muscular atrophy mouse model
by Junjie Sun, Jiaying Qiu, Qiongxia Yang, Qianqian Ju, Ruobing Qu, Xu Wang, Liucheng Wu, Lingyan Xing Although spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a motor neuron disease caused by the loss of survival of motor neuron (SMN) proteins, there is growing evidence that non-neuronal cells play important roles in SMA pathogenesis. However, transcriptome alterations occurring at the single-cell level in SMA spinal cord remain unknown, preventing us from fully comprehending the role of specific cells. Here, we performed single-cell #RNA sequencing of the spinal cord of a severe SMA mouse model, and identified ten cell types as well as their differentially expressed genes. Using CellChat, we found that cellular communication between different cell types in the spinal cord of SMA mice was significantly reduced. A dimensionality reduction analysis revealed 29 cell subtypes and their differentially expressed gene. A subpopulation of vascular fibroblasts showed the most significant change in the SMA spinal cord at the single-cell level. This subpopulation was drastically reduced, possibly causing vascular defects and resulting in widespread protein synthesis and energy metabolism reductions in SMA mice. This study reveals for the first time a single-cell atlas of the spinal cord of mice with severe SMA, and sheds new light on the pathogenesis of SMA. https://journals.plos.org/plosgenetics/article?id=10.1371%2Fjournal.pgen.1010392&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=tumblr
