Lonsdor K518 Pro Unlock Toyota Genuine/OEM Chip Type 8A Keys
Here is a new tutorial about how to unlock genuine/OEM chip type 8a keys by Lonsdor K518 Pro Key Programmer.
Car model: Toyota Camry
Make sure K518 Pro is connected to a WiFi well
Step 1: Identify original key
Select Special functions>> Identify/Copy chip>> Identify/Copy
Put the original car key into the card slot of K518 Pro key programmer
Identify the key chip type is 8A-A9, and the key is locked.
Step 2: Unlock Toyota smart key (8A)
Select Special functions>> Unlock key>> Toyota smart key>> 8A>> Unlock Toyota smart key (8A)
This function only supports unlocking Toyota 8A (39/88/A8/A9/AA/BA/F3) genuine/OEM smart keys.
Make sure the key battery is fully charged.
Still place the original key into the Lonsdor K518 Pro’s card slot
Confirm to unlock key
Unlock key successfully
Step 3: Identify original key again
Use the same process as step 1 to identify the original key again, the key is unlocked now.

Lonsdor K518 Pro Edit Data and Transfer Data via Bluetooth
In this post, we will mainly highlight the Edit data and Bluetooth transmission function of Lonsdor K518 PRO Key Programmer.
1.K518 Pro Edit Data
Click [Edit data] in the menu bar below the device
Click Open file
Go to Storage/emulated/0/customfile/LEXUS.bin
Click Edit data
Input the name and save the file
2.K518 PROTransfer File via Bluetooth
Turn on Bluetooth on K518 Pro tablet
Path: Settings>> Bluetooth settings>> Turn on Bluetooth
Turn on Bluetooth on Android/IOS smartphone
Path: Settings>> Bluetooth>> Turn on Bluetooth
Method 1: Send file from K518 Pro key programmer to smartphone
Back to K518 Pro device
Click Settings>> File manager
Choose the file (LEXUS.bin) just saved in step 1
Long press it and click Share
Choose the Bluetooth device (i.e. nova 9 SE smartphone) to send the file
Send file successfully
Method 2: Send file from smartphone to Lonsdor K518 Pro
Go to Tools>> Files to choose the file you desire
Click Share>> Bluetooth>> k518pro to send the file
You will get a file receiving message on K518 Pro tablet.
Click “RECEIVE” and wait for the transmission process to be completed.
Receive the file successfully

Lonsdor K518 PRO Add VAG MLB Key Guide
As we know, with Xhorse KYDZ MLB Tool, Lonsdor K518 Pro/ K518S/K518ISE series key programmers can add MLB key to Audi & VW & Porsche & Bentley & Lamborghini now (review here). Let’s see how to operate.
Main steps:
Step 1: Generate dealer key with KYDZ MLB tool
Xhorse MLB Tool is able to calculate data and generate dealer key. No need to get in the car to collect, you can use the original MLB key, which can be generated wirelessly and is easy to operate.
Step 2: Program key with Lonsdor K518 key programmer
Detailed operation guide:
Step 1: Generate dealer key with KYDZ MLB tool
1.Run MLB OBD App to read original key IDE
2.Place the original key or KYDZ key at the antenna location
The original uninitialized key can be used directly;
Those that have been initialized key by the original factory but are not locked can be used after processing;
The original factory uninitialized key with ID FF can be written to the original lost key IDE;
The locked key can replace the main control CPU.
Read data and then generate dealer key
3.Open the original key shell and remove the main control chip QFN64 package
Place the main control chip into the adapter or weld it on the adapter board
Click Calculate Data and the device will connect to server to calculate key data
Remember the service number for matching keys to third-party devices.
After generating dealer key, you can program key with K518 Pro/K518S/K518ISE.
Step 2: Program key with K518 PRO or other K518 key programmer
Menu Path:
i.e. Audi
Tap Immo & Remote>> Audi >> MLB>> Add key>> Program key
Follow the on-screen prompts to do step by step.

How to Bind Lonsdor K518 Pro with Super ADP 8A/4A Adapter?
One customer wanted to bind Lonsdor Super ADP 8A/4A Adapter to K518 Pro to do smart key programming for TOYOTA/Lexus (2017-2021) without PIN & TOYOTA AKL license. He entered the Bind adapter option, but got the “Communication failure” error.
For this problem, eobdtool.co.uk engineer offered the solution below.
Lonsdor K518 Pro and Super AD bind guide is the same as Lonsdor K518ISE.
Plug Lonsdor Super ADP Adapter into the K518 device
Plug the 12V power supply to K518 key programmer as well
Then enter the menu path:
Immo & Remote>> TOYOTA>> Select from type>> All smart key lost>> Type 2 (2016-)>> 8A>> Backup immo data>> Backup immo data via ADP
Kindly notice:
During the use of ADP, do not operate abnormally, or maliciously steal relevant data, otherwise the K518 and ADP will be locked and cannot be unlocked.
The program will prompt you to bind Toyota adapter and K518Pro. Follow it to bind and wait for the process to be completed.

How to Program 2024 Honda Accord All Smart Keys Lost by Lonsdor K518 Pro?
Today we’ll demonstrate how to program smart keys to a 2024 Honda Accord by Lonsdor K518 Pro via OBD when all keys are lost.
Operation process:
1.Connect K518 Pro key programmer to the Honda vehicle via OBD cable
2.Select Immo& Remote-> HONDA-> Select from vehicle-> Asia-> Accord-> 2023- -> Smart Key-> PUSH button (new)-> All smart key lost
3.Pay attention to programming conditions:
Not fault code shows
Prepare all keys to be programmed
4.Switch the ignition off
5.Put a key (to be programmed) inside the car, and take other keys outside, above 5 meters away from the car
6.Press the start button twice to check if it can switch the ignition on
7.Press and hold Start/Stop button, do not release
8.When the ignition is turned on, released Start/Stop button
9.Input the quantity of the key that needs to be registered (e.g.2)
10.In 100s take all keys away from the car at least 10 feet
11.Put the key (to be programmed) inside the car
12.Current smart key has been programmed, replace with another smart key (to be programmed) and put it inside the car
13.Switch the ignition off in 15s, and then switch on within 15s as well
14.Check if the immobilizer light off
If yes, switch ignition off in 15s, and then switch on
15.Now the key programmed count is 2
16.Programming is completed, turn ignition off
17.Turn ignition on (press Start/Stop button twice, do not slam on the brake)
Check all smart keys to ensure each one can start car engine
Check all smart keys to ensure each one can lock and unlock car doors
Done!

How to Fix Lonsdor K518 Pro Lost “IMMO & Remote” Menu Error?
One customer gave feedback that he could not find the “IMMO & Remote” menu on his Lonsdor K518 Pro key programmer. The first option is “Generate smart key” now.
The solution:
Select [Settings] on the main menu
Then select [Firmware upgrade]
Update APK and then force update
After upgrade, the “IMMO & Remote” menu will come back.
