“But perhaps the most extraordinary journeys are missing. They are the ones that I have never done, the ones that I will never be able to do. They remain unwritten, or closed in their own secret alphabet under the eyelids, in the evening. Then comes sleep, and we set sail.” art by @ euphemia.stokefield #journey #settingsail #adventures #dreamcore #luciddreaming #dreamingofadventure #ballonride #fantasyart #fantasyartist (at Catalina Foothills, Arizona) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj1EpAdSRWCeyKydo5OQkKk942MOGngCd_8We80/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

GVFghostwriter: An Introduction
Hello reader, my name is GVFghostwriter and I am a lucid dreamer. I just wanted to give an introduction and explain what to expect when you read my stories. All these stories will be heavily inspired by the dreams I had about Greta Van Fleet (an American rock band I love dearly). Allow me to explain the intricacies of my dreams and how they work mostly. So, if you don’t know what lucid dreaming is, it is where someone can control their dreams. Either only certain aspects, or all aspects… I am a lucid dreamer that has a pretty good handle on what I can control (I like to use the word influence actually). I have been lucid dreaming since I was a child, so I’ve had lots of practice, but here is a look into what I actually go through in a dream.
First, I never really remember the beginnings of my dreams, I usually am all the sudden aware that I may be dreaming. My dreams are quite realistic compared to other lucid dreamers, so sometimes I have to check myself in real life to make sure I’m awake. I am usually thrown into wherever I am dreaming, not knowing how I got there, however I normally will have gained some sort of knowledge of what I am doing or what the task is soon after becoming aware. For example, I may have a dream where I become aware that I am on a tire swing. I will suddenly just “know” that I am supposed to start swinging. These “knowings” can be quite complex, no words are ever spoken to me, I just “know”. I could go down a rabbit hole explaining that one, but that’s usually how my dreams go: I become aware, then I immediately know what the “plot” or the “task” of my dream is. And then usually from there I decide if I want to change it, ride the wave and continue in it, or alter it to how I like. I can bring in whoever I want to dream about, go where I want to go, make objects appear, etc. however recently, I have been intrigued by what my subconscious wants. Sometimes I sit back and just watch, altering small details here and there.
Second, I usually cannot alter who I am already with when the dream starts. I can make people appear, but the people I start with are the people I stay with (unless I literally just walk away and start another dream, some people aren’t worth dreaming about lol).
Third, some of my stories are PG-13, some R and I apologize…maybe. Again, if they’re already with me, they are not going anywhere unless I walk away. Would you walk away from Greta Van Fleet? I didn’t think so.
Fourth, anyplace I dream of are places I’ve been to in real life, however slightly altered with “loopholes” I call it. For example, doorways are my nemesis. Why? In actual psychology, there is a theory on why people forget things as they walk into a new room. It is theorized that a doorway tells the brain to make a new “page” and we forget what was on the page before. The same very frustrating thing happens in my dreams. So sometimes after I enter a new room, the plot may change a little because I lost focus. Happens a lot and is very frustrating. So, as I write these stories, I may have to put some puzzle pieces together and make fictional “bridges” to have it make sense. That’s why I put “inspired by my dreams” because they are not fully made up like a movie. I have to put puzzles together a lot. But it could be more than doorways, I could have just plainly gotten bored, or moved in my sleep, so it happens often.
Being a lucid dreamer, I’m always looking for details. I need to because that’s what keeps my dreams going: details. The textures of shirts, the color of the wood, the smell, the time of day (looking at clocks), etc. The more I touch, the more I influence, the more I do things, the better off I am prolonging the dream. The reason I say that is because I will be giving very descriptive imagery because it is very important to keeping the dream going, which to me adds to the lucidity of the dream.
I am always open to any questions you may have about lucid dreaming, or the meanings of my dreams and what I think they mean to me, etc. so please feel free to reach out to me, I enjoy talking about this! And honestly me talking about my dreams helps me become a stronger lucid dreamer and remember my dreams. It is very important for a lucid dreamer to remember their dreams, its like practicing. The more you remember how to do things, the easier it becomes.
Sorry I ramble too much, but if you’re a Greta Van Fleet fan, here are my rankings for the “lanes”:
Jake Kiszka
Josh Kiszka
Danny Wagner
Sam Kiszka
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do, and of course I will only make these as I have the dreams, so hopefully I have more GVF specific dreams. But I am interested in adding short POV’s as well to this mix and not just dreams, so be on the lookout! I hope you enjoy, share this with your friends!
Sincerely,
The GVFghostwriter

What Does it Mean to Dream About a Visitation from a Deceased Loved One
Typically to see a loved one during your dream can be quite upsetting when you wake from your dream to dream about a deceased loved one, still being alive is quite a common vivid dream. These types of dreams are often referred to as lucid dreaming Visitations during your sleep are meant to be a sign that your passed over loved one is trying to reach out to you from beyond the veil to bring you peace, guidance, relief, and closure. If your dead loved one is trying to reach out to you it might be that you are suffering from grief, stress, or trauma or perhaps you are struggling with a milestone in your life, and they want to let you know that things will be ok.
VIVID VISITATION DREAM
Sometimes a visitation dream can feel very real. However, it is said that visitation dreams are your deceased loved one trying to bring you a message of support and encouragement. Visitation dreams can happen at any time, but generally they occur when you are going through a particularly challenging time such as a loss or a trauma that you are really struggling with.

I had a dream where I was going through a messy divorce, and I was stressed out. So, I started chasing this guy and he just stopped running and asked me why I was chasing him.
I asked him if he knows he’s in a dream, and he hugged me, and I woke up to a sleep paralysis episode.

Heather Nation's "Lucid Dreaming" is an Evocative, Lush, and Sexy Masterpiece Heather Nation's latest single, "Lucid Dreaming," is an evocative, lush, and sexy masterpiece. The song is awash in ambient sounds, with a beat that hits you deep in your chest. Nation's vocals are soaring and sensual, and the lyrics are both dreamy and thought-provoking. The song opens with a gentle piano melody, which is soon joined by Heather's vocals. Her voice is full of emotion, and she sings with a passion that is both captivating and alluring. The ambient sounds in the background create a sense of space and depth, and the beat keeps the song moving forward. The lyrics of "Lucid Dreaming" are lucid and relaxing, they have the power to tamper with the emotions of a person, they are calm and well-arranged. Her vocals are sensual and arousing, her vocal delivery sets the mood straight for couples. "Lucid Dreaming" is a well-crafted song with a strong message. It is a song that will stay with you long after you have listened to it. If you are looking for a song that is both evocative and thought-provoking, then "Lucid Dreaming" is a must-listen. What Does it Mean to Dream You are Flying?
Common Dream meanings include:
New opportunities coming your way.
Spiritual growth
Tackling fears
Impending potential
Abilities you may have.
Creative spurt
New relationships
The meaning of dreams where you fly are generally a representation of your life – joyful and happy or fraught with challenges. To dream about flying can mean you are breaking free of the chains that have bound you and are beginning to express your own personal freedom.
The meaning of dreams where you are flying upwards.
This type of dream generally means you are attempting to break free of the limiting behaviours that have recently affected your life in some way. To dream about flying downwards
This type of dream is asking you to make time to delve into your inner world, to try and understand your subconscious mind. To dream about flying downwards is a wake-up call asking you to consider how you are living your life, for example you may be feeling the weight of responsibilities right now, and need to have more faith in your own capabilities and what you can achieve and do. The meaning of dreams where you are flying can also be associated with lucid dreaming.

Book Review: Lucid Dreaming by Sofia Visconti
⭐⭐⭐ When I received the opportunity to review this book on Booksirens.com, I was excited. I previously knew very little about lucid dreaming, though reading this introductory book, I realized that I have, in fact, experienced it before. This book is a quick and great superficial start for someone just starting to explore lucid dreaming. Having said that, I was a little disappointed overall. I…
