#MAU: Florence Delarosa

They got there before the restaurant got busy so they were seated right away.

Unfortunately their waitress was a bit nervous about serving the mayor of another city and spilled Marcel’s salad all over Sophia’s lap.

After a lot of apologizing from the waitress and reassurances from the Jocques that it was fine they were served new dishes (placed on the table this time) and the rest of their meal passed rather uneventfully.

Nope she fell asleep again. Sigh.

Eventually the last fire died down and Florence trudged inside to pass out. I’m still amazed nobody died, that fire was going for probably 12 hours and no less than 6 sims walking by stopped to scream and panic at it.

To try and cheer her up a bit I had her invite GIlbert over on the last day of the round just to hang out. I think it helped her take her mind off things even if just for a few hours.

She’s been waking up in the middle of the night from nightmares a lot since the fire and I don’t blame her.

After work the next day, during another thunderstorm I might add, Florence decides that’s the best time to start cleaning up all the ashes. I did not tell her to do this, she seriously has no sense of self preservaiton.

This random townie who is apparently her friend happened to stop by while Florence was outside so I influenced her to clean mostly to save Florence from being struck by lightning.

Florence went inside to make dinner for her friend (who did not end up eating any of it).

Okay fine there’s a lot less fire I’m sure everything will be fine...FLORENCE WAKE UP!

OH CRAP!

Maybe you should have stayed asleep, I’m not sure if a sleeping sim can catch on fire.

I was just coming to accept Florence was going to die when the fire spontaneously stopped. Hooray! Can you please call the fire department now?

Oh no Florence is home and there’s still fire on the lot and now random patches of grass are on fire. Okay this is fine I just need to cancel any panic actions and get her inside to call the fire department-

Which is easier said than done becasue she did not listen to me.

Nooooo Miranda don’t leave you were the only competent one!

Unlike some of my other grilled cheese sims Florence rolls a lot of wants for her knowledge secondary aspiration so she tends to spend her evenings and nights skilling.

Work is also going well for Florence, she’s still in the education track. She’s now an elementary school and got a bonus after the district science fair.

Round 2 starts off with a tax refund of §405 for Florence, followed by some breakfast grilled cheese.

They finished up the date in Gilbert’s studio before saying goodnight. She called again a few hours later to invite him on a follow up date downtown but that seemed like enough for one day so he declined.

Denise: So can I expect you to be having grandbabies with my son?

Florence: Uhm it’s only our first date don’t you think it’s a bit premature for us to be thinking about kids?

Denise: If you’re not going to give me grandchildren I’m sure his next fling will.

Florence: Uhm...

Gilbert: Mom what are you doing you can’t talk to Florence like that!

Denise: I just got fired Gilbert! I need something to devote my attention to.

Denise: I-I just don’t know what I’m going to do. Leave me alone, both of you.

Gilbert: Come on Flo we can chill at my place.

The next day he rolls a want to go on a date and since he has the highest chemistry/relationship with Florence Delarosa he invites her over. They hit it off immediately.

Gilbert calls Florence at 2am and then she gets another call at 5am from the coworker she’d brought home the other day.

Florence’s routine is pretty much the same everyday. She reads the newspaper or skills, goes to work, makes grilled cheese and goes to sleep.
