not to sadpost on main but uh. i don't think i usually talk about super personal stuff on here?? but today i got a surprise call that the date of my full hip replacement is next wednesday, barely any time to take it in or prepare. i spent half the day crying, and the other half arranging cover and ineffectually trying to do my job😭 the worst part is that one of my best friends is getting married soon, and i'll have to miss the wedding. i booked everything for it, and it's the only thing i had to look forward to the past year. we're so close i feel like i'm letting her down. i feel so guilty.

i'm grateful for artfight because even though i'll be recovering throughout it'll give me something to enjoy while i'm not afloat to the tonsils in painkillers. also, walking again!! without a stick!!!!!! running, even, eventually!!!!!!!!!!!! i've been in pain my whole life and maybe now it'll stop. i feel sick but i'm trying to focus on the bright side. idk i hope this wasn't too heavy or whingey i just needed to write it out. everything will be fine in the end, wink wonk
