This time I got a fun thing to share, Fairyland MNF Roller Skates in beauty white! I painted them in a pastel rainbow theme. They are also very shimmery, but I sadly do not have a video of that.

Elyra got a fancy little photoshoot back in March while I was hanging out with my local BJD group of friends, that I forgot to upload here.
I was switching between my 50mm and 35mm lenses here, as it was too difficult to hold her up with one arm in the yellow flowers and hold the camera far enough away with the 50mm lens.
I still like how these photos turned out. I'm getting better at shooting with scenery, when I stop hermit-ing that is...
The what is what:
Sculpt: Fairyland MNF Ryeon on the old A-line girl body
Accessories: Ears sculpted out of Apoxie Sculpt and handmade tail both by me
Eyes: 14mm Ashuradark Eyes in unicorn
Outfit: Secondhand mostly unknown, overall shorts by Doll Heart, shoes from Fatiao
Wig: Fatiao in 7-8
Faceup: me over at @izasfaceups

Not a confession, I just don't know where else to ask. I have a recast minifee for sale but I don't know where I can sell her? I've tried recast fb group and she keeps getting lost in posts and the more I bump the less I feel people want her. 😥 Also, eBay charges too much in fees. Please can you give advice?
It depends on a lot of factors, like the state it's in, how much you're asking, what store you got it from, the accessories, and so on.
MNFs are cheap already new from Ali, specially during sales like 11.11, so I don't think you'll be able to sell it at a high price.

Hello everyone! I'm very sorry for my long absence! I had a lot on my mind (trip to UK, bf getting sick, then me getting sick, working on commissions and stuff for etsy). All of that made me withdraw from Instagram (I didn't even notice the changes >.>) and Facebook for a while. But I hope to be back now! I'm still working on commissions (as you may know, working on a commission doesn't mean JUST sewing, it's making sketches, looking for fabrics and accessories, taking photos for clients if those are ok. If not, looking for more fabrics, sometimes ordering stuff online etc etc, it all takes time ^^;;; ) I'm not making excuses for myself, I just want to explain why working on commissions is so time and energy consuming ;0; Either way, thank you guys for being so supportive! I restocked items that were sold out today, both mnf and feeple size. I hope you will find something you like. Also I have extended shipping time, since I still have a lot of work! Thanks for understaning <3 #bjdclothes #mnfclothes #feepleclothes #kalciaworkshop

back at it again with the bjd hobby thing.
i’ve been gone for a hell of a long time, and i really missed this hobby. last i was involved, i was getting chemotherapy and then had to sell some dolls after a house fire. long story short, the company hired to pack up the house “lost” an entire room full of my things. books, sewing materials, art supplies and of course all of my dolls and doll accessories.
i recently came into some money, so i’m trying to start back again. its just hard and sort of bittersweet since it had taken years to build up all the items i had collecting. but i’m starting again, with this guy.
my first full minifee, and well, wrow! he’s a bit floppy, but hes super gorgeous. keeping his default face-up for now. i don’t see many tika’s around. but thats probably because its so drastically different from most minifee sculpts.
other than him, i actually just received a mnf mir and unoa sist. an uh, maybe accidently ordered 4 minifees directly from fairyland.
so yeah, when i say i’m back at it again, i really mean back at it again.

My MNF Mirwen is wearing one of my necklaces :) I love the accessory touch on dolls! ^_^
If I have more time and some new materials I will start working on new necklace designs again :) My face up's will delay a bit again because of the heat. If I can't manage most of my commissions this month I will do a break in august. I don't want to wait you too long for your girls. Sorry T__T

HZD BJD Concept Post
Working on my concepts for the Aloy cosplay. This post will be updated as I progress. might get a bit rambly, and grammar starts to matter less, as i talk to myself. Going to keep track of expenses here (new supplies only), and link to relevant construction posts.
Wig: $25 wig + $25 wefts?
Aloy has a lot of hair! It has a lot of interesting style, and is pulled back from her face. All point to a custom wig, probably mohair, ventilated?, or at the very least lace front. Full custom? or Franken wig. This one, with extra wefts?
Bow: $50 + printing costs + shipping?
3d model from here can be scaled down? Will it fit the MNF Bow hands? Don’t know till we try... can probably make a clay part that fits if not. Also have one printed for me at that cost...
Nora Brave:
Skirt: ~20 hrs work... $3 fabric + $3 paint = $6
How is this actually put together?! are the  blue strips seperate or? full size they look like the way you would put binding on a quilt, but at scale? PAINT, thats easy right?  but how to do the back side, cause the top drapes over the belt... Panels themselves look to be the same length as her arm, thats actually easy to copy.
Pattern drafted, Prototype done, Finished paint work, attached to ‘belt’.
Under shirt: ~3 hrs work $.75 fabric
Pretty basic pattern. Paint detalis. I wish there was some way to see under Aloy’s hair, some of the details are obscured. Guess i’ll just make something up.
Had to make a new patterns for Pru because her chest is so small. Most of my girls can share patterns with no editing, even though they all have different bust sizes, but the MNF cutie bust is so flat that it does require alterations, but not so flat that i don’t have to put darts in. I still really love it though!
Pattern drafted, paint done, Finished.
Over shirt: ~5 hrs work $ 6.50 fabric
Microsuede! Ended up having to make this pattern twice, the first one ended up WAY too small
Pattern Drafted, Re-drafted, Prototype, Finished
Pants: ~3 hrs work $0
Pretty simple, pants with some detail, most of it is not seen under the skirt. Did not have to buy new fabric
Pattern Drafted, Prototype done, Finished.
Accessories: 20min
Necklaces.
Still need: fur caplet, quiver, grappling hook, and pouches
Armor Pieces:
Shoes:

found a GO going on for iplehouse on DoA so wooo gonna order me some FID man shit. they allowed for small resin parts to be ordered as well as accessories, so idk how long it'll be until i get my stuff. xD also put in my order for a mnf rheia in tan skin. will need to harass @azuraspyte about faceup styles so i got that shit figured out by the time nai eventually arrives. (nai is spyte's character, so they get to pick out this kind of shit. i just get to keep and play with the doll xD less stress for meeeee). anyway...idk about future doll plans yet after the rheia. i'm still humhawing about my iplehouse joshua being turned into pelna khara. was looking around IH's site and JID owen looks like he'd make a better pelna...but ugh iplehouse body. D; and also ugh i really want to put my joshua to proper use ffffs!

WTB PARTS!
I'm looking for an assortment of parts. SD girl thighs, arms and upper torso, preferrably White Skin, but will look at any. Soom super gem or similar size, such as Spiritdoll Proud etc. MNF and/or Withdoll magnet wrist parts in any color, MSD torso (middle and lower parts for 3 part torso, whole torso for 2 part) male or female, and thighs in any color. Also need full torso and arms for YOSD size, any color. Picky about the Yo stuff, not so much for the MSD stuff. Willing to trade; I have a bunch of wigs, clothing, and parts, can also make stuff including clothes, jewelry/accessories and wigs, tho custom stuff may take a few months, as I'm moving in a few weeks and will need time to set up shop again. Willing to pay fair market value, negotiable on everything, willing to take damaged, yellowed or mismatched items. Really just looking to use some of the other parts I have kicking around to make some full dolls.

Top 3 Reasons To Choose Japanese 4X4 Parts & Accessories
Australia has a hidden gem: picturesque landscapes that can often be reached by trekking through a rough terrain and beaten tracks. Those who love the great outdoors surely have added these breathtaking sites to their camping itineraries. While the idea of basking in the sun or looking at the stars at night sounds idyllic, getting to these places can be quite challenging. Well, not if you’re in a 4x4.
4x4 vehicles are built to sustain the severe wear and tear from various driving conditions. They also offer a lot of space for you to squeeze in the gang or your camping equipment. But since not everything is made to last, you will have to change your 4x4 accessories and parts at some point. When this happens, it is only fitting for the “king of the road” to be decked with Japanese 4x4 accessories and parts.
Maintaining a 4x4
Modern 4x4 vehicles do not come cheap. Free yourself from possible headaches and in emptying your pockets by properly maintaining your ride. It can save you a great deal of money and rule out the possibility of mechanical failure. Staying abreast with your car’s needs is important to a happy ownership.
You should do your part in keeping your 4x4 in its top form. Like any other vehicle, your 4x4 needs proper care and routine maintenance. Many risks may happen if you neglect your 4x4 and let it go for a long period of time without care.
Battery and Transmission Fluid
It is important to check the battery and transmission fluid of your car. 4x4 technicians recommend to have the fluid levels and the batteries checked regularly. It is a common scenario for the transmission fluid to overheat, which affects its lubrication power. You wouldn’t want that as it contributes to further deterioration of your car’s internal parts.
Differentials
The differentials should also be looked at. These are the sets of gears that transfer the engine power to the wheels. The outer wheels make more effort when making a turn than the inner wheels. Since they have variable speeds, the differentials help in passing on the power for a smoother navigation. The differentials take most of the toll when driving in a rough terrain. Because of this, it is important that the lubrication in the differentials is monitored.
Gearbox
The gearbox is prone to overheating, especially when you are driving off-road. While this is a normal occurrence, frequent overheating can break down the gearbox fluid. It is good practice to be consistent with changing the gearbox fluid and the filter.
Shocks and Brakes
When your shocks are shot, it can steer you off the road and get in the way of your tire’s job. Make it a habit to look for dents or leaks as this will ensure the structural integrity of the shocks.
For the brakes, wash your vehicle after your journey off-road. This is to remove the mud, sand, and grime that might have accumulated on the brakes. In addition, check the calipers and brake lines for signs of deterioration. No one wants a faulty brake.
Lights
It is crucial that you get seen on the road. In doing so, do a routine check on your side lights, tail lights, headlights, reflectors, and other indicators (e.g. brakes). These should be adjusted to avoid dazzling or blinding other drivers. Moreover, light lens that are cracked need to be replaced to prevent possible injuries resulting from short circuits or damage to the wiring loom.
Accessories
There are different off-road accessories that give the most bang for your buck. For instance, a good old traction mat will make sure that you don’t get stuck. You just have to unfold them and wrap them around the stuck tire. These mats work well in muddy or snowy conditions.
Got flat tires? Direct drive tire inflators got you covered. This air compressor will make sure that your tires will have the right amount of air pressure. Modern versions can now be powered by your battery, giving you a convenient air source.
Why Japanese 4x4 Accessories and Parts Make a Good Choice
An integral part of maintaining your 4x4 is ensuring that the parts and accessories are in good condition. These may be worn down due to constant use or strain. Word of the wise: Take the time to check the 4x4 accessories and immediately replace the damaged parts. Holding it off can lead to bigger issues in the future.
4x4 accessories and parts can easily be accessed nowadays. Having said that, make sure that you only choose accessories that are known to last for a long time, like Japanese 4x4 accessories.  Here are the more reasons why Japanese 4x4 accessories and parts make a good choice.
Safety and Compatibility
Japan is known for its innovations in the automobile industry, primarily due to the sophisticated and demanding market it caters. As such, Japanese brands have strict safety standards, which ensures only the best technologies are used and products with added value are created.
Think of your car as your body. Some of its mechanical parts can be quite sensitive. When you feel like something’s wrong with it, you don’t do much work or get the job done. The same goes with your 4x4: It cannot perform well, which, when used, put your safety at risk.
Imagine that your body is failing you. Since you are a tight-wad guy, you opted for a cheap, run-of-the-mill cure. You thought that you’ll get better, but quite the opposite. What you thought of saving bucks from your DIY approach resulted in spending more, and then some. When you need to replace certain parts or accessories for your vehicle, don’t compromise huge savings for mediocrity. Not only that Japanese 4x4 accessories come at a more reasonable price than others, these offer an assurance that each part sold is compatible to your 4x4.
Worry-Free Driving Experience
Japanese 4x4 parts have passed through stringent quality control measures. So each time your old car parts or accessories are replaced with Japanese ones, you don’t have to worry about your car breaking down while you are in the middle of an enjoyable ride. May it be on the road, up the hill, or off the road, you are guaranteed with a carefree driving experience!
Durable and Extended Life
A 4x4 that is well taken care of is proven to last for a long time. Using Japanese 4x4 accessories and parts should be part of your car maintenance regimen to expand the serviceable life of your car parts or the vehicle itself. Compared to other manufacturers, Japanese accessories have shown to be durable and reliable. In some cases, the parts lasted longer than the 4x4!
Maintaining your 4x4 is only half of the battle. If you want it to be serviceable for the years to come, it is crucial that you recognize its limits. The day to day commute, off-roading, and the various and erratic weather conditions all contribute to the stresses on your vehicle. Knowing what your 4x4 is always up against will help you prepare for it.
If and when your car parts and accessories call for a replacement, MNF 4x4 has an array of products and services that will match your lifestyle and needs. Give your ride the parts it deserves. Don’t waste your investment! Go for Japanese 4x4 accessories and parts. Click here to learn more.
