This time I got a fun thing to share, Fairyland MNF Roller Skates in beauty white! I painted them in a pastel rainbow theme. They are also very shimmery, but I sadly do not have a video of that.

Elyra got a fancy little photoshoot back in March while I was hanging out with my local BJD group of friends, that I forgot to upload here.

I was switching between my 50mm and 35mm lenses here, as it was too difficult to hold her up with one arm in the yellow flowers and hold the camera far enough away with the 50mm lens.

I still like how these photos turned out. I'm getting better at shooting with scenery, when I stop hermit-ing that is...

The what is what:

Got in a new dress for Lilith from Ti&To and paired it with a top I’ve had for ages from @kawaiimon’s now closed shop Dorset Clothing.

Could have sworn I had a second one of these tops that I modified to be shorter, but it either got misplaced or maybe I threw it out or something. 🤔

Anyway, I’m pretty set on the idea that Lilith is a glam goth. xD

oliver looks so cute in this cloak i got for him at resin rose :’) i need to sew him some more stuff but i feel like i’m finally starting to pin down a style i like for him after all these years and it’s making me so happy!

A while ago I couldn't decide which of my girls I wanted to take to this spot, I decided to bring Tulia and Elana along. And both indeed got photos.

Elana's peaceful aura is very fitting for this scenery in my opinion.

I hope you all had some lovely holidays~

The end of the year is near and I always think where did all these days go? Time really flies when you get older T__T

And especially the last two years felt ... strange. I cannot tell you guys that something signifant happened (well, besides my moving and renovation, haha).

And here I'm sitting and I want share some cool news or some other cool stuff. But I don't really know what to share.

I'm avoiding social media for a while now - I'm still here and there but it feels much better not to put so much pressure on myself to post something. Just when I feel like it.

My lovely Minifee Nanuri 19/20. Sigh, she still need a name. But she has a beautiful wig from milklegdolls and a face up - whatever can I wish for. She even wars the gorgeous Fairyland outfit I got with my Dina. I'm so happy that she is a finished doll. And I did not even intend to keep the event head ^^" I'm so glad I did!

This faceup on my Fairyland MNF Ryeon in natural skin was super fun to do, as I based it on my previous MNF Ryeon’s Faceup from way back when. I did buy her with another artist'8's Faceup on her, which was beautiful but not the vibe I wanted to go for. So off it came and this one got put on and I love it!

I used Coliro pearlcolors for the gold and dark pink shiny elements

Since I never thought I’d own a MNF Ryeon again, I moved on all her things, so I had to start from scratch, including her Fox ears. I bought a set from a friend back in 2012, but they currently don’t have any more of them in stock, so I made a quick janky pair out of Apoxie Sculpt for the time being. My friend will cast me some once the weather is better in Minnesota and I will buy them to make her look properly cute again!

I also made a quick tail with wire, faux fur, magnets, and tape (all but the fake fur are internal), and I’m loving how poseable it is! Definitely glad to have one back in my collection!

This is also my last faceup of 2023!

Welcome back Elyra! I bought her secondhand from a good friend of mine this past December 2023.

It's still so surreal to me that I got my dream MNF back in my collection. I had to sell my first one back in 2015 due to needing emergency funds when one of our roommates lost their job and my wife and I (back then fiancee) needed to pay bills.

I had listed a bunch of dolls, and sadly, my MNF Ryeon sold the fastest. It's a sale I have always regretted because I did really like her.

This Ryeon isn't the same one, but is from the same year, but she accepted the old Ryeon's character and name without a hitch! I'm so glad I have my kitty/fox girl back.

More blathering about the doll and such under the break

Elyra is really settling into her new shell and look quite nicely. Let me show a quick comparison of my previous to current one:

I did not ever expect to get her back, especially once Fairyland discontinued the older sculpts, so I didn't keep any of her things. So now she has a new wig, outfits, shoes, eyes, tail, and ears.

The tail and ears are now both made by me, though I do intend to re-buy the ears she had before. I just didn't want her to be without kitty/fox ears until my friend casts a few more of the old ears.

She was a fox in the past, but now I'm undecided on if she should be a cat instead. Her old tail was a big real fox tail, the new one is made of faux fur, and is fully posable thanks to the wire I put in it.

She's also good friends with little Ursa, my old DZ Shoyo, who I got around the same time as I got Elyra 1.0

With the arrival of half a dozen new centaurs it was time to make a group picture :3

The blindbox babies are super cute and probably the first arrival in a long, long time that I really don't have to mod in any way for better poseability. They're lightweight, hold all poses good, and are probably easy to mod and dye in the future.

Something else I got over the weekend was this hiruseki stone necklace for Hiei that my friendo mssaiinu on Instagram made for me (so also sent me a hell sweet poster/print of Hiei). She hadn’t let me know what she was shipping me since it was a surprise, so I accidentally threw the necklace in the trash with the package. xD;;

The scale is a smidge big for him imo, but jfkds it looks so good. ; w ;
