Mabbie was an announcer/host/whatever-type person similar to Brock on the Dance Party floor or Sab on the Button Competition floor, but for a slightly censored Chinese version of Regretevator. Because of a certain error in their voice and in their body, they were glitched to the usual version of Regretevator. They do not exactly mind meeting new people, as they do not care about that aspect. However, they are somewhat concerned about returning to their original office where they did their “speaking” job and that is why they spawn in UES, the floor with the most office-resembling space not governed by other NPCs. 

Mabbie mainly talks in a robotic, AI-generated Chinese voice. Think of the Chinese voice department scam call. They can play music with their voice box, as well. 

Mabbie is not a robot. Mabbie was created by God.

They can freely change their faces. However, it’s usually of a certain genre of old Chinese 表情(memes, basically) that was popular when I was a kiddie on QQ. I will show a video of what these images usually look like. I can only find an abundance of them when I reverse image search, so sorry if it’s not the best video. “Special” faces like the hyper realistic ones usually seen on Chinese reaction images are only triggered when Mabbie experiences intense emotions.

Mabbie speaks in Mandarin at least 1/3 of the time, similar to Pest with Japanese.

Mabbie is way more threatening and vile than Pest when angered. 

Mabbie can have a crude humour as they sometimes do not understand boundaries. 

Mabbie likes Prototype, Scag, DrRETRO, Infected and Pilby. It is uncertain whether the respect is returned.

Mabbie has headphones. It is hidden in their hair. 

Mabbie ignores the existence of Jaoba.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?

I don’t read nearly as many TOH fics as I read Layton and Miraculous ones (and even then, I tend to write much more than I read) but Hunter salt in general rubs me the wrong way. He definitely gets more love than he does hate, but there was a weird period between S2 and S3 during which certain fans got fed up of “seeing his face everywhere” (ie, that he Sparked Joy™ for other people). Huntlow also got a lot of heat simply for being a thing, which thankfully dwindled down after Dana confirmed they were a queer couple (there’s a lot to unpack there about gatekeeping in LGBTQ+ spaces, BUT this is not the topic the day).

On a somewhat related note, aspec headcanons make me very happy, especially when they coincide with Huntlow! It’s a great way to explore the spectrum in its totality. 🖤🩶🤍💜
