“Good morning birthday girl” I woke up to my girlfriend whispering in my ear. I paid and Julien carried the bag, as promised and we made our way to pacsun. We looked around in there for a while, I found a white off the shoulder sweater, I got that and the same one in dark green. Julien took the bag again, even taking my tote bag off my arm and putting on her forearm with the other bags. Her other arm hanging with her hand intertwined with mine. We went to go get coffee, I got a simple iced coffee with oatmilk. That I let Julien pay for, she seemed very relieved, I laughed at that. We went to a few more stores after that, Ulta, Lush, Barnes and Nobles, and a comic store that also had records. I got some bath bombes for mine and Juliens baths we take to relax together, I couple summer Fridays lip balms, and a Sylvia Plath poetry book. Along with 1989 (Taylor’s version) and fruitcake by Sabrina carpenter on vinyl. Julien doesn’t drop my hand once as we walk back to the car, her opening and closing the door for me and then getting in the drivers side. “It was really nice spending that time with you, j” I said quietly “yeah it was, baby. Wait, you visited Canberra? What for?

Honestly, just to hang out with one of my coworkers. We went to Kingpin, I got some CDs at JB Hi-Fi, I showed them the big carousel at central - then we went to go to Holey Moley but they were booked out five hours in advance, so they talked us into going to Hijinx Hotel. Wasn't really interested to begin with, it's one of those attractions with like actors and keyfabe and that and it's meant to be like a 1920's sort of hotel with challenge rooms - but I honestly really liked it.

After that we bummed around the factory outlet mall in Fyshwick and went home. It was a really good day.

I live like an hour and a bit from Canberra, and I visit sometimes. Usually it's by myself, but this time I got to go with friends and I had a blast.

Co-presented an award to Miley at the TCA

The trio co-hosted either the KCA or the TCA one year and Nick has hosted on his own a few times I think

They did a lot of private party performances
