Spooky season is over and he HATES IT

Startlingly wine-red blood thickly drips down the kingslayer's sullied breast, as he languidly rises his arrowed head. Several bands of gilded light dancing over his arcing horns betray a heraldic beauty, amongst such visual, visceral carnage. The aftermath of an indifferent, impartial massacre.

↠ A faster sketch of Malzeno between Re4 Remake pieces, since I've been wanting to try and tackle the design for some time. I'm pretty unconfident in the background, since they're my biggest weakness, but hopefully it looks alright.

I really admire the intricacy of Malzeno's design, but absolutely despise fighting them, as a Dual Blades user. The combat is unbelievably clunky and frustrating- I still haven't beaten the Primordial form.

That being said, on my first try- after three carts- I did get its mantle as a consolation prize. Which still feels like an insult, somehow.

Got mad they wouldnt drop the materials to craft the armor so i doodled Primordial Malzeno. Such an awesome guy, such an awesome end to such an awesome game !! Very sad to see it go, in hopes that the next MH will keep the super dynamic gameplay but less.... less op hunters MAMQMQMNS

Definitely my second fav mh game after 4 Ultimate.

I wanted to draw Malzeno for a while because it's such an amazing design, whoever had the idea to combine vampire aesthetics with a dragon is a pure genius. Very happy with how the drawing turned out! Also, his theme is beautiful, among the best monster theme of the series.
