1. First, sign into Exoprise CloudReady, click the drop-down and select Profile

3. Copy either the User or Shared Dashboard URL to the clipboard

This embedding URL enables anonymous read-only access to a personal or shared dashboard. You can also specify any layout or tab to land on. Along with dashboard access in Teams, you can also have CloudReady post alarm web hook notifications for all or a subset of sensors to a chat or channel stream.

Follow these steps to publish alarms into your Teams channel. If you can’t add a connector to a particular channel then you may not have permission and should contact your administrator to get access. Of possibly apps are disabled for your tenant. Add Connector

1. From the teams channel where you want the notifications to end up, click the context menu (three dots) and then click connectors. An add connectors dialog will appear.

Configure the Incoming Hook

2. From the Connectors dialog, click ‘Configure’ to add another web hook, or search for and add the Incoming Hook

Provide Name and Icon

4. Fill out the dialog for the Incoming Hook. We use CloudReady and the following icon (right-click to download the icon).

Grab the Posting URL

5. Once you click Create, the dialog will update and you’ll get an URL for posting. This is where the web hook should post to for sending notifications into Teams.

6. Sign in to CloudReady and go to Alarms > Settings > Web Hook

7. Click the +Add button at the top to create a new web hook

8. Paste the URL that you copied into the dialog

Customizing the Alarm Contents

Web hooks that come from CloudReady can be completely customized. We have customers sending alarms and resolutions to Microsoft Teams, Slack, Service Now, Splunk Enterprise and more. How to Transfer Data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to a Database

Cloud data and cloud based applications have grown exponentially over the past years. Combining data sources and applications has become a major challenge for many companies. One of these important applications can be Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales is an application that helps companies to interact with current and potential customers. It is widely used due to its convenient characteristics.

Often the data stored in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales has to be transferred to a database such as MSSQL or MySQL.

In this article, you will learn how to do this by using DBSync Cloud Workflow.

Introducing DBSync Cloud Workforce DBSync is an integration platform that facilitates the integration between different systems. It manages all the communication, data translation and procedure interaction among the various connected applications.

This platform uses different processes, also known as business processes, to synchronize data between different databases and applications. These processes, in turn, use connectors to link different databases and applications.

DBSync presents you with a series of connectors. Among them, is the Microsoft Dynamics CRM connector, which has two  namely on-line, versions and on premise.

These connectors allow you to move data in and out of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales, in order to populate data warehouses, synchronize master databases, and streamline transaction details and on the web payments.

How to transfer from MS Dynamics 365 for Sales to a database You will now see the necessary steps to transfer data from MS Dynamics 365 for Sales to MySQL. However, the same actions apply to other databases, such as MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.

Step 1: Create a new project.

Here you are presented with two options: importing an existing project or defining a new one.

In order to create a new project, you must press the button Create Fresh Project. Then, you will be prompted to enter a name for your project and save it.

Step 2: Create a connector for each system that you intend to work with.

As you are connecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales to a database, you should create two connectors, one for each resource. One connector will be of type Database Connector and the other of type MSCRM Online Connector.

Step 3: Create a process.

Once you are connected to the source and the destination, you need to create a process that defines the transfer task. For this, you must press the button Create New Process and input a name. Just remember that process names cannot contain spaces.

Step 4: Create a workflow.

Each process may have several different workflows. In order to create a new workflow, you must press the Create New Workflow button. The system will ask for a workflow name. Just remember that the workflow name mustn't contain any empty spaces. Each workflow will contain a trigger and one or more rules.

Step 5: Configure a trigger.

A trigger lets you define a query to your data source, in our case Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales. You are presented with two options: query builder and advanced query builder. These alternatives give you the freedom to handle a query at different levels of sophistication, and according to your level of skills.

Stage 6: Create a rule.

You can have one or more rules for every workflow. Each rule defines the data destination and a mapping between source and destination.

Step 7: Define a map:

A map connects supply and target fields. With DBSync, the mapping is very easy as you can connect the source-destination field pairs by dragging and dropping.

Stage 8: Run the process.

You can do it manually or via a scheduler. Manual runs are useful for sporadic tasks (See figure 3). The scheduler lets you manage repeated runs, or go the process at a specific date and time.

How to Set Navigation App on User Level from Dynamics Mapping Tool

Dynamics CRM has Bing Maps integrated by default. But there are certain limitations when it comes to navigating using Bing Maps inside of Dynamics CRM. To overcome these limitations and achieve more from your Dynamics CRM, you can invest in a Dynamics Mapping tool that allows you to plot records on a map, visualize data with heatmaps, and manage your territories more effectively.

In this blog, we are going to show you how to set a navigation app like Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze on a user level using the Dynamics Mapping tool. Further, we’ve also demonstrated how one can generate navigation links to go about their day.

For the demonstration purpose, we’ve taken Quick Maps but you can browse around on MS App Source and find a suitable Dynamics 365 map integration.

Step 1: Navigate to Map

If you are using old UI (Classic view):

Find the “AppJetty” tab from the header menu, navigate to Quick Maps and then click on Map.

If you are using Unified view:

You can find the ‘Quick Maps’ App by clicking on the Dynamics 365 option.

Step 2: Select any one(Google/Waze/Apple) from the configuration

- Click on the “Map Configuration Details ” option and select the user (a record) for whom you want to set the Navigation Map.

- You can set navigation maps at an individual level i.e. for one user you can set Google Maps while for another user, you can set Waze Map and so on.

- You can also set the Navigation Map based on the devices i.e. Google Map for Android and Apple Maps iPhones/iPads.

Based on the selection in the user configuration detail for ‘Navigation Via’, the navigation link will be generated from the Quick Maps, and by clicking on it, the user will be redirected to the respective App.

Step 3: Navigate to the Maps page and select the Entity.

- By clicking on the Maps, you will be navigated to the Quick Maps page.

- Select the Entity & its view. You can also select the multiple entities if you want.

The data will be plotted on the Map as per the selection of the Entity(s).

Step 4: Insert the Origin and Destination

After plotting the data on the maps, you can add the locations in two ways:

- Manually: Click on the “Direction” tab. From here, you can insert the starting & ending locations by inserting the address manually in “From” and “To” edit boxes.

- Via pushpins: By clicking on any Pushpin, the details of that records will popup. You can set the directions by selecting the “Add to Origin” option and the final destination by selecting “Add to Destination” respectively.

After selecting origin and destination, both locations automatically gets inserted in the “Directions” tab.

- After the route is plotted on the map, click on the navigation icon to get the link of the plotted route.

- If you have selected multiple locations, you will get more than one link.

- This will open “Navigation Links” popup with direction links generated from waypoint A-B, B-C, so on.

- By clicking on the links from the Dynamics Mobile/Tablet App, you will be redirected to the relevant Maps app as per the selection of Navigation Map in Map configuration details.

Therefore, the admin user can select any Navigation Map option from Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps. This makes it easier for the reps to access the links and make it on time for appointments and meetings.
