Lots of crocheting and gaming most days. Hoodie close to done, though it's probably going to end up hoodless. Other stuff :

Mar 17 - made hot Italian sausages with mashed potatoes, and corn cooked with tomatoes and cumin.

Mar 18 - did some vacuuming. For supper I fried some pork chops, which were served with green beans, and boiled potatoes tossed with butter and green onions.

Mar 19 - just me for supper, so I used leftovers to make meatloaf and noodle soup.

Mar 20 - still just me, hauled some chili out of the freezer.

Mar 21 - another solo meal, did pierogies with chicken nuggets and a salad.

Mar 22 - ran laundry. Supper was tuna rice with green peas, yum.

Hey, I have something really important to tell you, okay? It’s really really important, so you need to listen closely. This will only take a second of your time, I promise.

So long as someone really, truly loves and cares about you, expressing your boundaries to them should never wield a negative outcome. If they react negatively, it should be reevaluated how good of a person they are to be around, because boundaries should always be respected. Even if it’s something as small as calling off a date to take time to yourself, you should still be able to trust that they people you love will understand and respect your limits. The world won’t explode if you tell them there’s something you can’t do. And if they love you, really love you, they’ll understand that.

Rosé and Bruno Mars - Apt. 2024

"Apt." (abbreviation for "Apartment") is a song by New Zealand and South Korean singer Rosé and American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. It was released on 18 October 2024 as the lead single from Rosé's debut studio album, Rosie (2024). The song was written and composed by various contributors, including Rosé and Mars, and includes elements from the 1982 song "Mickey" by Toni Basil. It is an up-tempo pop, pop rock, pop-punk, and new wave track, featuring indie rock and electropop influences. Inspired by a South Korean drinking game, the song's chorus is built around the game's rhythmic chant of apateu (Korean: 아파트; lit. apartment).

It was a commercial success and spent ten weeks atop the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. US charts, becoming Rosé and Mars' second number-one single and the longest-running number-one song of 2024. In South Korea, it peaked at number one on the Circle Digital Chart for ten weeks. The song topped the charts in over thirty countries, including Australia, Japan, Austria, Germany, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Switzerland. Mar 20 - Gamed a bunch. I keep getting sucked back into Timberborn. Also purchased and briefly tried out Stardew Valley, before I was lured off by the thought of building many dams.

For supper I did pesto pasta with tuna for me and shrimp fried in butter for my brother.

I've been trying to find just the right bookends for my Black Butler collection, but my search is now over.

Killstar's Haunted Homeware recently added this bookends set to their line of demonic-looking hands.

I already have some of their other items from this particular line, like a ring/trinket holder and a tea candle holder. Now I have the new bookends. 😁

It's gonna be like Sebastian is holding the entire set of volumes between his hands. 🫸🫷
