Marsiens have landed

The production of the limited-edition MARSIEN by Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH is running at full speed. The super car, limited to just 40 units, is being delivered to clients in more than sixteen countries around the globe. The MARSIEN is all terrain capable, suitable for everyday use, technology focused and futuristic in appearance designed by French Porsche aficionado Alan Derosier.

Marc Philipp Gemballa Marsien, 2021. The son of the late German tuner Uwe Gemballa has created an all-terrain supercar based on a Porsche 911 Turbo S. The ‘Marsien’ name is derived from the word ‘Martian'. It has been tuned to produce 750hp, the restyled bodywork is made from carbon fibre. The plan is to make 40 Marsiens.

Marc Philipp Gemballa has revealed its off-road capable, bespoke supercar to the world and confirmed its production name: Marsien. With his newly founded company Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH (not associated with Gemballa GmbH), the 27-year-old entrepreneur and son of late Uwe Gemballa has launched his very first production ready supercar named Marsien starting a new era in 2021.

Marc Philipp Gemballa has taken a 911 Turbo S from the 992 generation as a basis and turned it into an off-road beast. The 3.8-litre 6-cylinder boxer engine was upgraded by RUF. That's why it now generates 750 HP and 930 Nm of torque. Although you can ask for more power up to an impressive 830 HP. Modifications to the Marc Philipp Gemballa Marsien include an Akrapovič-designed exhaust. It also has VTG turbos, a reconfigured ECU, a BMC air filter, among other things. The PDK transmission remains, but it's retuned to withstand harsh desert conditions. Ian Derosier is the designer responsible for such a work of art, taking a 911 Turbo and turning it into a modern 959 off-roader with Singer ACS capabilities.

Marc Phillip Gemballa, hijo del encargado de la personalización de coches deportivos, especialmente de la marca Porsche, Uwe Gemballa, ha lanzado el tan esperado Marisen, una interpretación moderna del legendario Porsche 959.

Basado en el 992 Turbo S, el Marisen presenta dos modos de suspensión: un ajuste todoterreno con 9,8 pulgadas de distancia al suelo, o un entorno de calle con 4,7 pulgadas. KW Automotive diseñó una suspensión completamente nueva para manejar el diseño de doble función, con amortiguadores activos y nuevas horquillas delanteras y una configuración trasera multibrazo. RUF manejó el ajuste del motor, llevando la potencia a 740 caballos de fuerza y más de 800 con turbocompresores de geometría variable opcionales. Akrapovič proporciona un escape de titanio específicamente para el Marisen.

El superdeportivo con carrocería de fibra de carbono tendrá una producción de 40 unidades, de las cuales ya se han apalabrado de la mitad.

With the new founded company Marc Philipp Gemballa, Uwe Gemballa’s 26-year-old son Marc Philipp continues the legacy, launching his very first own project in 2020, exactly ten years after his father’s passing. Born and raised in a sports car-enthusiastic family always being part of by his father’s passion.

More than two years of preparation and development have resulted in the idea of equipping unique people for their adventure, no matter where in the world, no matter what the terrain, no matter what the climate or road conditions. Marc Philipp Gemballa is taking the extreme from on-road to off-road, building his very first super car combined with off-road capabilities in a limited small series run.

The project will be presented for the first time at the beginning of March at a private launch event for selected clients during the Geneva Motor Show 2020.
