Monk: Way of the Four Elements. Galen is an Aarakocra based off of the beautiful, yet terrifying Great Blue Heron.
I would die in service to my mentor, Aidene. She has done much to teach me about the ways of fire. I strongly believe in her quest to reclaim the throne, as her Genasi and royal human heritage signifies necessary elemental power and change needed in the world.

Mayhem at Mire’s Edge
An opportunity awaits. Just down the ol’ caravan road and past the creek there’ll be a sign that beckons you to Mire’s Edge.
The path ahead has somewhat faded, as wriggly vines and zesty grasses creep onto bare soil. Traffic from past wagons carved a slight incision to gently line the trail.
Continuing forward, the tree canopy slowly closes in, bringing temporary relief from a hot summer day. Then the air dampens, weighing down your boots deeper into the mud.
After hours of trudging through slop and thick vegetation you spot architecture, homely looking structures that reveal nearby civilization.
Mire’s Edge. An intriguing settlement, founded by a wealthy lord. One who had a real determination to develop this unruly terrain into something profitable, sugar cane. While Mire’s Edge doesn’t feature the same elegance of more developed cities, the lord’s financial success is readily apparent.
It’s now a place of farmers, and traders, striving to further their prosperity and expand their settlement’s reach. However, their influence is currently under threat by nearby Kobolds, Lizard-folk, and something even more dreadful.
A truly interesting dilemma for you, adventurer.
