Watching DNT again and my thoughts:

I do have a soft spot for DNT as it made me interested and going deeper into LoGH franchises. But as a watcher, I do have opinions.

What I like about it:

Imperial uniform and FPA flagships design

Yang and most of FPA's design. Yang's design was a combination of OVA's and Michihara's. And I like how his face looks so soft but also vacant every time

The narrator and character's lines. Although to some people it might sound boring as it was directly came from the book. So it somewhat became easier to "understand"

It doesn't add more un-off scene as much as OVA. Because some of OVA add-in details has contributed in some misleading information.

All of its Openings and Endings, included the NHK's broadcast

Still have more but I mostly like the design so... No.

What I don't like:

That 人/ノ人 shape of bangs on literally everyone. Especially Cazelnes's and Admiral Bay's. I wished that they did Michihara's design or Chinese illustration on Cazelnes.

Annerose and Reinhard's eyelashes. They only look good in pictures or illustrations

Imperial's flagships. Especially the interior design

Lutz's bang. Mecklinger's ponytail.

Hilda design was good but her "tomboy-ness" and somewhat strictness was gone...

Fortress vs fortress's CGI

Julian still looks somewhat delicate after his trainings.

FPA uniform's colour. Too bright. The overall design was good but the add-in details was too much. I must say "too many details and colours"

Schonkopf limbs and Reinhard's legs look like spaghetti (no offense)
