元宇宙发展面临的问题
元宇宙还处于起步状态,概念先行,成熟的元宇宙产品或需要数十年的沉淀。
目前元宇宙面临在投资语境的泛化问题。如上文所说,由于元宇宙的概念过于模糊,许多厂商都为自己的产品套上元宇宙的概念以吸引投资,以至于市面上出现“元宇宙”产品井喷的现象。元宇宙的概念确实是吸引投资的利器,国内仿照Roblox,主打元宇宙概念的公司许多都获得了大量投资。例如《重启世界(REWORLD)》,虽然市场反响很小,但仍然获得了字节跳动的支持。类Roblox的MetaApp也获得了近2亿的投资。
然而许多情况下,元宇宙标签只是为了吸引投资的工具。例如社交软件soul最近打出元宇宙的标签,实际上很大一部分就是在兜售概念。Soul归根到底只是一个社交软件,严格意义上来说很难归类为元宇宙。因为其缺少元宇宙中的经济体系、高沉浸式等多个要求。
处于行业风口的元宇宙吸引的浑水摸鱼的人多了,出现“万物皆可元宇宙”的情况,这一词汇就难免引起行业内的质疑。且由于技术较为落后,元宇宙目前尚且停留在初级的概念阶段,不少人抱有悲观态度。
实际上,不少投资者参与元宇宙项目,是因为Roblox的火爆在先,然而Roblox早于2004年成立,期间经历了17年的沉淀,并且通过其独特的沙盒创造玩法吸引了众多玩家,并形成了庞大的玩家和创作者群体,Roblox的招股书显示:2020 年前 9 个月中,Roblox 平均 DAU 达到了 3110 万,用户在 Roblox 平台上总互动时长为 222 亿小时,平均每天每位活跃用户在线 2.6 小时,平均每月体验 20 款游戏。而社区环境则是Roblox最重要的生命线之一,Roblox耗费了大量的金钱与精力维护社区生态,形成了非常健康的社区环境;另外Roblox开创了独特的教育与娱乐相结合的商业模式,作为一款游戏平台,却拥有教育的功能。可以说Roblox的每一个成功要素很难完全被复刻。资本疯狂涌入元宇宙股的今天,行业或许应该理智思考投资行为的正确性了。
除开在投资语境的泛化,元宇宙的搭建还受技术、基础设施等落后的影响,目前只能做“轻型元宇宙”。计算机、互联网、AI计算技术,等可以促使元宇宙达成低延迟和促成内容自发生成内容循环的技术能够使得虚拟世界变得像现实世界一样内容丰富,没有限制。但问题在于,这些技术在目前都尚未成熟,难以达到元宇宙的理想高度。VR、AR技术等增强虚拟现实体验的技术还处于发展初期。
除开技术,基础设施还未普及也是阻碍元宇宙发展的因素之一。VR、AR等技术的运用都需要经过媒介,而这些设施的价格可能较为高昂。5G技术普及后,至今仍未普及。而元宇宙的本质要求其拥有庞大的用户数量。因此,在基础设施未普及之前,元宇宙只能停在较为轻型的状态。
最后是监管审查等政策法律问题。元宇宙这种资本主导形成的产物,对自身的规范化有着极高的要求。元宇宙强调玩家参与创作,创作内容需经过依法审查。此前国内的《迷你世界》与《Roblox》相同,玩家可以创造自己的地图和玩法,然而这种功能却出现被不法分子利用的情况,出现了不少儿童色情的问题。这类违法犯罪的问题需要依靠元宇宙产品自身自查,以及外部监管共同发力,来打造良好的社区生态环境。
另外,元宇宙独有的经济体系有可能会出现的货币安全、金融诈骗等一系列问题。维护好元宇宙内的经济体系,防止不法分子通过元宇宙内的经济体系洗钱、诈骗等也是需要解决的难题之一。而元宇宙依赖的NFT体系才处于发展初期,仍然存在许多安全风险,且当前全球监管环境中NFT未被明确约束,NFT还存在一定的法律政策风险,这也是元宇宙目前面临的困境之一。
总而言之,元宇宙似乎已成了互联网和游戏行业未来必然的发展趋势,然而新事物的发展总是机会与风险并存。受技术和政策法律等一系列问题的影响,元宇宙这一概念还只能停留在初级阶段,此时过于追捧,行业与资本所获的结果很难理想。但是随着技术的深入发展,元宇宙也必然会迎来真正属于它的风口。

China’s richest internet moguls think their employees should work more.
Jack Ma, a founder of the e-commerce titan Alibaba, called long work hours “a huge blessing.” Richard Liu, who runs the Alibaba rival JD.com, said people who frittered away their days “are no brothers of mine.”
Rank-and-file tech workers in China, discouraged by a weakened job market and downbeat about their odds of joining the digital aristocracy, have other ideas.
They are organizing online against what in China is called the “996” culture: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., six days a week.
For years, Chinese tech employees have worked hours that make Silicon Valley’s workaholics seem pampered. Now they are naming and shaming employers that demand late nights. Some programmers are even withholding their creations from companies that they think overemphasize 996.
“Ten years ago, people rarely complained about 996,” said Li Shun, a former employee at the search giant Baidu who left to found an online medical start-up. “This industry was booming once, but it’s more of a normal industry now. There are no more giant financial returns. Expecting people to work a 996 schedule on their own like before isn’t realistic.”
Unusually for China — where independent labor unions are banned and the government comes down hard on populist movements it doesn’t control — the movement is gaining traction.
Mr. Ma softened his remarks. An industrywide conversation has begun. An open letter, sent on Monday to China’s Ministry of Human Resources and signed by 74 lawyers from around the country, urges the government to properly enforce labor laws.
Even Chinese state media has called on employers to ease back.
“Under the pressures of a slowing economy, many companies are faced with questions about their survival, and their anxiety is understandable,” a commentary in the People’s Daily, the Communist Party mouthpiece, said. “But the solution is not to make employees work as much overtime as possible.”
Angst about 72-hour workweeks speaks to a deeper gloom in China’s digital industries.
Not so long ago, 996 symbolized possibility for Chinese tech entrepreneurs. Their country had the vast market. And increasingly, it had the engineering talent. The secret ingredient, the one that supposedly set China’s companies apart from Silicon Valley’s, was the hustle.
While China requires overtime pay, the laws are haphazardly enforced, and the tech industry usually insists workers are committing their time voluntarily.
But hustle is harder to demand of workers in a bear market. Internet darlings have laid off employees. A torrent of venture investment in tech has slowed to a trickle. As China’s internet industry matures, giant companies like Alibaba and Tencent are looking more like monopolists whose world-swallowing dominance leaves little room for upstarts.
In China, “there’s not a lot of hope for runners-up anymore,” said Max Zhou, a co-founder of a Beijing mobile software start-up called MetaApp. As a result, he said, smaller companies can no longer use a sense of grander purpose to motivate workers to sacrifice their personal lives.
“Most companies don’t have a dream anymore,” Mr. Zhou said. “They can only try to fabricate something for their employees.”
The 996 debate started last month with a simple post on GitHub, an online community where programmers around the world share code and software tools. An anonymous user posted under the screen name “996icu,” a reference to the place where such hours take engineers: the intensive care unit.
The 996.ICU GitHub repository — basically a folder for a project’s files — has since been “starred” more than 230,000 times, indicating people’s level of interest. Hundreds of fed-up tech workers have contributed to the GitHub project. Others have assembled on messaging and social media apps, with little centralized coordination.
The Chinese government is eternally fearful of spaces where mass discontent can simmer. It has long barred access to Facebook, Twitter and other global platforms. Years ago, China briefly blocked GitHub, too, but engineers protested and the site was unblocked. GitHub, which is owned by Microsoft, has a policy of posting any takedown requests it receives from governments.
Nagi Zhuge, an engineer at a start-up in the southern province of Hunan, has lived the 996 life for the last two years.
“My colleagues are too afraid to go home after work,” Mr. Zhuge said. “As a junior employee, I can’t be the first to leave.” He is now an active contributor to the GitHub project.
Across the different groups, the basic strategy is to push, but not so hard that the Chinese government feels compelled to react.
That means no strikes and no demonstrations. In one group on the messaging app Telegram, references to Marx and Lenin are forbidden. The philosophies of communism’s leading lights often run contrary to the way China is run today. The government cracked down against a labor rights movement in the tech hub of Shenzhen this year.
Instead of sit-ins, the tech workers are harnessing the power of memes, stickers and T-shirts. Some have pushed for a holiday to celebrate beleaguered software engineers. Mr. Zhuge is rallying workers to mail paper copies of China’s labor law to Mr. Ma of Alibaba.
“We’re expressing ourselves very gently, as programmers tend to do,” said Suji Yan, the founder of a start-up in Shanghai called Dimension.
Even so, many people, in China and elsewhere, remain concerned that the movement will be silenced. A few weeks ago, some Chinese web browsers appeared to have restricted access to the GitHub repository. In response, Microsoft employees started a petition asking the company to decline any requests from the Chinese authorities to censor or remove the 996.ICU repository.
“Most important for the 996.ICU movement is that GitHub is accessible in China,” the employees wrote in their petition. “We encourage Microsoft and GitHub to keep the 996.ICU GitHub repository uncensored and available to everyone.” The petition, which is also hosted on GitHub, has collected more than 150 public signatures and has been starred more than 4,000 times.
Concerns about censorship also arose when Twitter users in the United States were blocked from posting links to the 996.ICU repository. The link was incorrectly flagged by Twitter’s spam prevention system, a Twitter spokeswoman said, but users are now able to post it.
On GitHub, Chinese tech workers have drawn up a blacklist of the tech companies where the hours are longest. Among the offenders: Alibaba, JD.com, the smartphone maker Huawei and Bytedance, the social media giant behind the short-video platform TikTok.
Written along the bottom of the 996.ICU group’s bright red home page: “Developers’ lives matter.”
Alibaba said it had no comment on 996 beyond Mr. Ma’s social media posts, and JD.com had no comment beyond Mr. Liu’s post. Huawei, whose executives speak proudly of their hard-charging “wolf culture,” declined to comment. Bytedance did not respond to a request for comment.
The GitHub repository includes information about job opportunities overseas. There is also a list of things people can do to support the movement.
The last item on the list: “Go home at 6 p.m. without feeling sorry.”

Second unique feature of the metaHash network is its crypto token. It does not have an Ethereum token. They have their own native token named as MetaHashCoin; the MHC. The MHC token have monetary value and financially supports the entire platform through funds gathered by the sale of these MHC tokens.
Compatibility of other networks:
The system does not let other 3rd parties to temper the network by its complex security algorithms. But the MHC token has the compatibility with other Ethreum and waves token. The token can be exchanged for any other token or all other tokens can also be exchanged for MHC tokens. metaHashCoin is not only used for making transactions, payments and exchanging digital assets but to support the platform. The price of MHC is 0.0125 ETH or 0.0391 USD per token, and only 92,000,000 Tokens are created to circulate in coming 10 years. MultiPoS Consensus Blockchain & Decentralized App Platform
#MetaHash is a Swiss-registered MultiPoS consensus blockchain and decentralized real-time application platform. Moreover, #MetaHash aims to integrate blockchains with one another, creating a decentralized platform for a new style of Internet. #MetaHash views its system as both a replacement for and an upgrade to the smart contract paradigm.
The ultimate goal is decentralized applications that work seamlessly, in real-time, with one another like traditional Internet offerings.
“The self-regulating #MetaHash network, in fact, creates a basis for the emergence of a fully-fledged branch of the decentralized Internet,” the development team wrote in the project’s white paper. “It doesn’t depend on individual creators once launched and is managed by open voting of users or #MetaHashCoin (#MHC) holders. A full decentralized Internet would bring freedom from the control of large corporations. Project managements would be in the hands of end users.”
How Does It Work?
There are four main elements to the #MetaHash network. #TraceChain is #MetaHash’s answer to the transaction speed problems facing extant blockchains. It is an automatic self-learning algorithm for signal routing, with beginning speeds of around 50,000 transactions per second. #MetaHash claims that the system is infinitely scalable as the #MetaHash network grows in the number of nodes and processing power.

The next element of the #MetaHash network is #MetaApps. #MetaApps’ code prioritizes network resources and node owners’ financial motivation to optimize the location of application copies. Essentially, developers’ apps will be voted on by #MetaHashCoin holders according to those holders’ values.
#MetaGate browser serves as the portal by which developers can access the #MetaHash network, and the #MetaHashCoin itself is the network’s native currency.
What Sets #MetaHash Apart?
The developers address #MetaHash’s similarity to other platform projects in their white paper:
“We couldn’t find any project focused on creating a fully decentralized and synchronized network capable of quickly processing data on a large-scale, global basis, so we created #MetaHash,” the developers wrote. “Many of the current projects feature clear and useful ways of application yet fail to fully meet the needs of the market.”
The developers then went on to list the market needs that #MetaHash serves. Chief among these are full decentralization, full synchronization, low prices, transaction speeds under three seconds, and high bandwidth.
As the team pointed out in their white paper: “The longer a transaction takes, the less convenient it is to use the system, and the more difficult it is for decentralized applications to run in full capacity.”
In the end of June, #MetaHash has opened its MainNet, following months of load tests which showed results above initially declared capacity of more than 50,000 tx/s with under 3 seconds validation, and started distributing #MHC prior to its upcoming start of forging initiatives. Owners of #MHC will become the first nodes contributing into the network’s growth and enjoying the full advantages of the early forging, scheduled for August, 2018.
In comparison to mining, forging does not require hardware with lots of computational power like ASICs or video cards. The protection of the network consensus is based on the value of the network native coins, which is enough to rent any common web-server, or use a home PC that has a good internet connection.
According to project’s white paper, “50% of all rewards for forging are distributed among #MHC owners, while 40% are granted to nodes’ owners. The left 10% are used for rewarding the active users of the #MetaGate browser. Coin holders can also entrust their voting rights to their own nodes or may give their voting right to the operator of the node they trust and get a share of the commission. In this way, large numbers of votes are concentrated at nodes that the community trusts, making attacks on the system more difficult.”
It will be interesting to see how this develops with the launch of more of the ecosystem.
Who Is the Team Behind #MetaHash?
#MetaHash can be thought of as a conglomerate consisting of three different companies and their respective leaders. The first co-founder profiled in the team’s white paper is Gleb Nikitin, founder of automated ad placement system AdSniper. The second is Adnow CEO Vladimir Bashkin, and the third is investment firm leader Anton Agranovsky. The teams behind each respective company all contribute to the development and operation of #MetaHash. Although the project is registered in Switzerland, much of the development team’s collective experience is in the Russian market.
What’s the Market Look Like?
#MetaHash is in the process of holding an initial coin offering, and the company lists its current #MHC price as just $0.0391 per each (can be purchased in ETH and BTC converted at the exchange rate at the time of purchase). The coin’s total supply is expected to be 9.2 billion, issued over the next 10 years.
New coins are created via the forging process, as the developers described in their white paper.
“Forging rewards come from the forging pool and transaction commissions,” the developers wrote. “Rewards are calculated every six hours when a new block (trim) is formed. The frequency of calculations and payments may vary depending on technical requirements, at the discretion of the #MetaHash Team. Unlike the proof-of-work system, #MetaHashCoins forging servers don’t go out of date and don’t lose their effectiveness, as their number is limited and depends on #MHC stakes.”
What’s Next on the #MetaHash Roadmap?
As a development platform, it’s difficult to predict what exactly the future holds for #MetaHash. By August, the #MetaHash team expects to begin forging coins. Thus paving the way for the launch of a fully decentralized system in the first quarter of 2019.
Conclusion
#MetaHash still being in development, it will be interesting to see how the final system succeeds. The main selling point of the system is its speed, although the wallet and browser they have developed for users of DApps on their platform also benefit the end user. In terms of said speed, it certainly seems that they are living up to the hype.
Although the team explains that testing is still the name of the game for their roadmap right now, they also explain the backup strategies and contingencies in the event that tweaks need to be made. While it is a work in progress, it certainly looks promising from a tech and investment perspective.

A MultiPoS consensus blockchain and decentralized real-time application platform has revealed how it plans to move away from mining technology in favor of forging — arguing that a multi proof-of-stake method is more effective and rational for its users.
#MetaHash says forging does not require expensive hardware that’s packed with computational power, which is one of the reasons why mining is so energy intensive, expensive and inaccessible to some crypto enthusiasts. By comparison, forging can be achieved through common web servers and even home PCs which have access to a reliable internet connection.
The company has unveiled a “simple and transparent” process for distributing rewards once transactions are validated. While 50 percent would be shared among holders of #MetaHashCoin (#MHC), 40 percent is devoted to node owners — with the final 10 percent being divided among active users of #MetaGate.
#MetaGate is a browser where decentralized applications — built using “revolutionary platform” called #MetaApps — can be accessed. The startup claims that software constructed through its platform benefits from a graphical user interface that’s comparable with web services that are known, loved and regularly used by the public at present.
In a blog post, the company explained: “Mining amounts to the solution of a math problem with the possibility of further verification by any other member of the network. #MetaHash changes this principle. Forging on our platform means forming the block together with all network members and simultaneous [sic] dividing commissions between all users (depending on how many transactions a particular user processed).”
According to #MetaHash, its first forging initiatives are scheduled to begin in earnest from August onwards.
MainNet launches
As reported by Cointelegraph, the company recently launched a “lightning fast” protocol known as #TraceChain, which can approve transactions in under three seconds.
#MetaHash says it has opened its mainnet following months of load tests — with the end results showing that the platform regularly exceeded its advertised capacity of 60,000 transactions per second. That’s the equivalent of an estimated five billion transactions on a daily basis. During the test phase, the startup estimated that more than 500 billion transactions were processed.
Describing its #TraceChain-based platform, the company said: “It offers unparalleled speed, security and decentralization at the lowest price per transaction in the history of blockchain.”
The company has launched a queue-based coin sale at 12:00 UTC on 29 June 2018 — paving the way for interested contributors to purchase #MHC in either Ethereum or Bitcoin. It says that 920 million coins are being distributed during its coin offering, with a goal of raising $36 million.
Looking beyond its token sale, #MetaHash has bold plans to further improve the four components that comprise its platform. This includes the final release of its #MetaGate wallet, which will be available on iOS and Android as well as Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. The company also aims to announce fresh details of its future development strategy in the fourth quarter of the year. By the start of 2019, “extensive security testing” will be taking place — and this will be followed by the release of its source code and the launch of a fully decentralized system.
