Guys, I didn't get to watch Minecraft Live and none of the posts I've seen have a definitive answer, so I'm just throwing this out there:

Is the creaking a hostile mob? I know everything about it (I think) like that it only moves when you're not looking at it, and that you need to find and destroy the heart to kill it, but I have yet to figure out why you'd want to kill it. Is it hostile? Does it have a cool/useful drop? Why else would you want to kill such a cool-looking fella. I don't want to kill him, I want to be his friend. I want to give him roller blades so he can move without actually having to move so we can be buddies.

I've gone off topic. But you get the idea. Is the guy hostile?

Here's how we're looking.

Not as impressive as Olivia's mission, but hopefully will still be engaging.

I see each one almost as a kind of boss battle. Each has an interest in the conversation of what it means to be heroic.

For Aiden, heroism is a matter of practicality. For the majority to win, some have to lose.

For Olivia, self-sacrifice is what makes a hero, above all else. If you're giving yourself up in any way, you're being a hero.

For Petra, there are no heroes. Only people who are good at making themselves popular. All roads lead to hedonism.

The player will hopefully have enough room to interact and play with this theme. I am guilty of letting my biases play into how the "best ending" is achieved, but I also want to ensure this doesn't get in the way of an nuanced experience.

Getting internet back and immediately being told that Minecraft is getting a horror based mob and biome was not the update I expected and I’m honestly not sure it’s the update I needed. I get freaked out playing normal Minecraft my anxiety can’t handle a lurking ghost mob, it can’t man 😭
