GreenOak Server Update!

Yesterday over on the GreenOak Minecraft server, we worked on adding a bunch of new and fun features to the server to hopefully make it better and more fun for everyone!

Firstly! We have added a bunch of new crops and decorations onto the server all of which are heavily inspired by Stardew Valley! There's tomatos, corn, peppers and so many others! We are still working on adding other crops and food to the server, but this is the first big batch!

Next up! We have added new fishing mechanics, rods, bait and fish! There are a handful of different rods that give you different buffs, there is areso different lures you can use to effect your fishing. There are also multiple kinds of fish that are again inspired by Stardew valley!

We also added SafariNet's! You can craft these spawn eggs to transport mobs around! You just right-click them, and they will pop into the egg! (All NBT Data will be saved of that mob) This should make transporting things like Villagers far easier!

Lastly! We have changed our Shop plugin for the last time! We already use Shopkeepers on the server for AdminShops and figured it made sense to use them for player shops as well! You can buy these saplings at /Warp ShoppingDistrict and you can use these to setup a shop! You can buy up to five of them!

Great news everyone! The Green Oak Minecraft server is now officially finished! We have built up Spawn,

We have a vast array of quality of life changes to make the server more fun! with more on the way!~

We got a shopping district in a similar style to HermitCraft where you can build your own shop! With no set currency! You can sell anything for whatever you want!

Want to build a town? Well you can get a town warp set down so new players can easily find it! Eventually you will be able to have warps set for community based warps! (i.e a community farm, museum etc)

I joined a new Minecraft server and decided to try something new! I decided to build a base in a biome I don’t normally build in! So I decided to do it in a Burch Forest biome!!!! I needed to build a barn and this is what I came up with!!!!

I have something along the lines of anthropophobia/social anxiety. I've just started driving consistently this last summer. (I'm talking once every one or two weeks) My car is an old beat-up thing, the paint is peeling, my back seat is held closed with ducktape and glue. It went through at least eight people in my family before me, and I'm the last. I've had it since I was 16 and I've turned 23 this year.

Seeing post of Joel with his beat up p.o. s. that's drawn busted but still good. I want to see posts of him bragging about the heating/ac. People (not Gem) are surprised that for how broken and tacky it looks, it really is an amazing car. The gas is great, it picks up speed fast but handles like a dream. Joel treats it like it's alive and talks to it. Him and Gem draw on it and cover the dash in tasteful stickers and pins in the roof.

Trivia Game!

Just a quick reminder on Saturday, September 7, 2024 1:00 PM We will be hosting yet another Guess OR DIE! Trivia night!

This Guess or DIE's trivia theme will be Cartoons!

And the prize will be a super cool weapon! along with a Blahaj plushie made by both our mod Noise and our Artisan Boxed! They did a super fantastic job on the model!

GreenOak 1.21! Updated

This just in! GreenOak has officially updated to 1.21! And not just that we've also updated our server into a 2.0 State!

The map is the same as before, but we have polished a lot of our features and made sure things would be far better this time! We are even working towards making the custom music discs better! (Though those are a work in progress!)

We now have a custom world just for player built minigames and rides! Here you can make as many games or rides you want!

We also have a shopping district where you can build up to three different shops! using a brand new shop plugin! (There is a tutorial provided in the server info tab!)

Along with shops and a gaming district we have an amazing Event world! With building events and minigames such as spleef and trivia!

Now that we have covered all the exciting worlds we have, now to go over some new features!

Added the ability to climb chains

Killer bunnies now spawn randomly

Creepers have a chance to spawn in the Nether

You can now check how many bees are in a hive

Shulkers Respawn

You can Silk Touch Amethyst clusters now

Shulkermites if a endermite is left on a purpur block for long enough it will enter the block turning it into a shulker

Bats have a random chance of biting you one time

You can now mix stones for tools

You can now drop dirt into a couldron to make mud

Husks drop sand

More effective tools (i.e things that should break faster with a specific tool but didn't now does)

Glass always drops when broken

Thunderstorm you can start thunderstorms when you throw a channeling trident at build height upwards (Consumes 150 or 60% Durability)
