Okay from stinkiest to least stinky (Putting a read more cause it got long, it's 5 cats ok):

Pernita, she's very stinky and must have spent most of her nine lives by now idk how many thousands of years old she is cause she was a stray but I've had her for uhn, 6 or 7 years (she's probably 10+). She's stinks like an old mop left in the sun

Canela, the baby, my darling, my daughter, I broke my pinky toe while playing with her <3 She's 5yo now and she stinks like an unidentified bug

Yoda is really hard to get pictures of! He never stops moving and when he does I'm too distracted petting him to take pictures, anyway this is the best I got, he stinks like a bad kitty who's always going where he shouldn't (he finds dust anywhere) and he's 12yo

Yoda's brother named Mipe, like, Meep, idk my sister named him. He's afraid of cellphones (and everything) so you can't take his picture. Here he is with Canela for scale (and moral support) HE'S A HUGE CAT, his siblings are too, he's also 12yo and a huge baby that cries when it rains. I assume he stinks but I can't check or he'll cry about being sniffed

And finally their sister named Gion, she doesn't stink I lied, and she has the softest fur in the whole wide world but she wont let you pet her when you want to and if you do she'll start cleaning herself like you're dirty LMAO (she does like to walk up to me when I'm working and make me pet her with one hand while trying to keep working with the other)

I love my cats, Yoda Gion and Meep are siblings that were abandoned by their mom on my roof and I somehow managed to keep them alive even tho I had no idea what I was doing (they were like, very small babies idk how many weeks old). Pernita was a stray on my street that we slowly dragged inside in the span of several months. Canela was literally thrown inside my house by a random boy running in the street, and what were we gonna do? put her outside again?? Not to be dramatic but I literally cried when I held her in my arms for the first time she's the sweetest little thing in the whole world.

I do have one complaint about Baldur's Gate 3, and it's that the character creation options are too pretty.

I understand having a limited character creation. I even realize that most people want to play pretty characters. But like. You can't show me a character that looks like this:

While telling me my options for a playable character are these:

I actually can't stand the thought of playing with any of these faces while knowing that Zevlor is out there taunting me with his perfect, unattainable face.

Thank god I'm on PC and have mods to turn to, even if the majority of them are worse for my purposes.

Made a new Rook who looks like Hawke just so I can pretend for a second, and got this amazing screenshot like three minutes into the run.

Setting aside everything else here, it's adorable what a rosy view Ichiban has of his friends.

"Down-to-earth" for Nanba is maybe a bit generous, but it's permissible. However, with all possible love: are we talking about the same Adachi?

lmao so I caved immediately and got Veilguard despite my lack of free time in the near future. Anyway, my Rook kicks ass and I'm already in love with her.

Also, this character creator is the first one I've seen where I'm not restricted to a slender/curvy model if I want my character to have tits, and that's beautiful.

Is the Master Vacation Bundle worth it if I'm not necessarily concerned about anything besides the Big Swell? I mean, I'd use the besties as sujimon and island guests, and would probably make them swap clothes and all that, don't get me wrong, but I can take or leave all of that.

But the story content is what I'm really interested in.

I concede that it was probably the correct choice for rgg to have Ichi hang with just the Hawaii gang for a bit before bringing the old friends over, so that they can grow on you without being overshadowed by characters we already know. I further concede that I'm progressing through the plot kinda slowly. Regardless, I'm kind of in a constant state of "I know Nanba and Adachi at least are coming over. When are they coming over? Are they here yet? How about now?"

Dedicated to that time Gale made me choose between him and Wyll, but I didn't even know I had anything going on with Gale.

For my second character I rolled a Dark Urge, and was told I should do the Astarion romance. If nothing else, I am very entertained by the juxtaposition of how I've chosen to dress each of them.

If that most annoying fandom poll tournament had happened just a month later, Dragon Age would've swept it. It hasn't even been a week since the trailer for the fourth game dropped, and r/dragonage is already unbearable.

And so far this is mostly just the people who only like Origins complaining that the new game isn’t Origins! The Discourse, the other side of the annoying coin, can't even kick in until there’s enough story to argue about.

Infinite Wealth throwing a curveball by opening on English-speaking characters. I thought I'd failed to pick the Japanese audio for a second.

Can that be the same Felassan from The Masked Empire? I sort of assume they wouldn't have reused the name, but the implications...

Been playing Tears of the Kingdom, and have come to the conclusion that the voice actors in it (and BoTW) were not directed very well, if at all. Not only do I know some of these voice actors can do much better than this, everyone's constantly putting stress on the wrong words*, which makes me think they were provided neither context nor adequate direction on what their characters were actually saying.

I can't analyze the japanese version to the same degree as I can the english, but as far as I can tell it doesn't sound like anything to write home about, either. *for example, Zelda telling someone "you must help Link", and stressing "help", when in context she's informing this person of Link's existence and it would make more sense to stress "Link".

I am honestly floored. I never thought I'd see these guys do anything ever again.

They're only hanging around the draenei heritage gathering, but at least there's new gossip text! Also, not that it wasn't already clear that they're inseparable, but Asric insisting on coming with Jadaar to freaking Exodar, and Jadaar negotiating with the peacekeepers to actually allow Asric into freaking Exodar is on a whole other level.

To revisit these musings, Adachi mentions in Y8 that he used to have a pet rooster that would wake him up in the morning. This man does not live in an apartment.

Saeko does, though, and she can't have pets.

A thought occurs about the party's living arrangements in Y7: why are options aside from the room at Hamako's and the Survive bar never brought up?

I mean, Ichiban and Nanba have no other choice, obviously, and Joon-gi and Zhao have reasons for needing a new place to stay... but Adachi and Saeko definitely have homes, if not in Ijincho proper, then close enough that Saeko was about to walk home that one time and Adachi had been a regular at Survive since before the game's events. Why does no one ever suggest bunking at one of their places?

I was going to say it's even implied that Adachi lives in a house since he mentions having a planter on the porch, but I checked just in case I was about to make a fool out of myself, and the word he uses in Japanese can also mean balcony. So that's not really proof of anything (though being an only child, he could have inherited a house from his parents).

Anyway the point isn't whether these homes could have been viable options. I just find it odd that no one in the party ever asks about them.
