Grade 5, also known as Ti6Al4V, Ti-6Al-4V, Ti 6-4 or R56400 adalah paduan titanium yang paling umum digunakan. Alloy 317L is a molybdenum containing, low carbon austenitic stainless steel with increased additions of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum for better corrosion resistance and increased resistance to chemical attack for sulfurous, acetic, formic, citric, and tartaric acids. Due to its low carbon content, 317L also provides resistance to sensitization when welded and higher creep, stress to rupture, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. It is non-magnetic in the annealed condition but may become slightly magnetic after welding.

Monel Slip-On Pipe Flanges, As made obvious by their name, these pipe flanges slip over the pipe. They're manufactured with an inside diameter that is slightly bigger than the pipe's outside diameter. These attachments are connected to the pipe via fillet weld at the top and bottom of the flange.
However, customers should bear in mind that this initial cost saving may be diminished by the additional cost of the two fillet welds required for proper installation. Moreover, weld-neck flanges have a higher life expentancy than slip-on flanges under duress. It is fabricated with an inside diameter that is bigger than the pipe’s outside distance across. These connections are associated with the pipe by means of filet weld at the tel-slip-on-flange.htmlop and base of the flange.
Monel Slip-on flanges are all bored slightly larger than the O.D. of the pipe. They are preferred over welding neck flanges bu many users due to their lower intial cost, but final intallation cost is probably not much less than that of the welding neck flange because of the additional welding involved.
