#Morghon and Jeyne

Love ALL your fics!! I am, however, obsessed with Jaeron and their daughters!

What’s the family’s view on Morghon and Jeyne? Like Daemon is lowkey terrified of Joff (as he should be) whereas Viserys and Corlys have their “mutual grandfatherly blindness”.

Ohh especially the Hightowers view!!

Like do they all cower in terror before Morghon (having heard rumors about how she was conceived) and how she causes weird shit to happen and she’s just skipping around Oldtown and smelling the flowers and oh are those Lyseni silks!

Meanwhile Jeyne is just upset no one is cowering before her. They are in fact lavishing her with attention and how she looks JUST like Daeron when he was little, ignoring her many threats as childish fantasies and dressing her up in pink and she is actively trying to curse them, their mom and the city.

And maybe the reverse around the Targs, the men at least, who know sure Morghul is Valyrian witchy but Jeyne is the REAL terror!

And Jeyne just rolls her eyes at her weak uncles but then she comes back from Oldtown and “thank you some damn respect!” after making some poor courtier cry with a glance.

Ohh!! And then the Hightower’s come the court, and are like “where is our sweet Jeyne!” And everyone is the vicinity just runs away!

Full disclosure: the plans I have for Joff and Daeron in the main verse might be incompatible with the Adventures of Morghon and Jeyne. So I don’t know if our beloved twins will make it into the main fics. 😢 But it also means I’m happy to keep talking about headcanons for them, because no spoilers to be wary of!

In the main ASOIAF books, some of the Hightowers are up to witchcraft shenanigans in the tower, and it’s the Citadel who possesses the dragonglass candles in the first place. So let’s consider two types of Hightowers: the very pious kind (like Alicent), and the very witchy kind (like Malora in the main series).

The Pioustowers look askance at Morghon but also don’t really believe in all the sorcery rumors. The Witchtowers love her and heartily believe in all the sorcery rumors.

As for Jeyne, the Pioustowers are prepared to lavish her with girly presents but are thrown off when she throws a tantrum. Morghon loves all the lace and dolls, so the Pioustowers decide she isn’t so bad, but they’re still wary. Meanwhile the Witchtowers are puzzled by Morghon’s lack of interest in the occult, so they hang out with Jeyne more often.

Great-Uncle Gwayne knows very well which twin is interested in which things, but he likes to mess with them by pretending to mix them up.

I’m going to combine this with the other Joffron twins anon submissions, because these are too good not to share.

I love the idea of of sweet Morghon being the in-universe Anti-Christ. Meanwhile Jeyne the Terror is just…normal. *shudders*

Joff develops the scientific method. Daeron develops research ethics because otherwise Joff would do some really unethical things for the sake of knowledge. 😰

Morghon goes by "Mor" to those close, and when she has dragon dreams she just goes "now, that was a bit dramatic, wasn't it?" and moves on

Mini-Daeron: How do babies get made???

Mini-Joff: Is that all true????

Joff: Not for you, you got made from sex.

Mini-Joff: So the boring way!? I want to be a magic baby too!!!

I also like to think that mini-Daeron would be named (by Joff) something super metal and Valyrian, like Morghon.

Mini-Joff is named (by Daeron) something normal like Jon or Jeyne.

Since Mor is a magic baby a la Maegor, she was a big ass baby as well, while Jeyne was a normal seize.

Very funny contrast.

Aegon: Are you sure there wasn't a third baby there that got eaten!?

Suddenly feeling very bad for Joff during the twins’ birth. Maybe she figures out how to do a magical C-section?

I’m imagining Morghon and Jeyne sharing a cradle, and Morghon clutches her twin like a teddy bear. Jeyne doesn’t like it, but Morghon is too powerful to escape. 😂

Do you think Jeyne and Morghon would be dragon riders? and if so are they claiming dragons or had dragons that hatched in their cradles?

Also, would there ever be any consequences for Morghon being born magically, besides being a dragon dreamer?

I could see Joff wanting to do an experiment where she gives an egg to one twin while having the other twin claim a dragon when she’s older. Daeron thinks this is a terrible idea that will cause accusations of favoritism.

Weird magicalish things tend to happen around Morghon (doors opening and closing by themselves, mysterious ghostly moans in the corridors). She just rolls with it.

Please also imagine the twins being babysat by their family.

Morghon loves to play dolls and dress up with all her aunties.

Jeyne makes Aegon and Aemond cry.

You would think Jeyne would be in danger from Morghon, with Mor being the "unnatural" made baby and while Jeyne is the "normal" made one, but Mor is just really nice and loves her twin a lot.

You know the snippet about toddler Aegon4 trying to kill baby Aemon with a dragon egg? It's the inverse energy with the Joffron's twins.

Baby Mor often escapes her crib just to climb into Jeyne's crib and cuddle with her.

These kids are basically Enid and Wednesday again.

Except I like to imagine that Morghon looks like Joff and prefers a pink princess aesthetic, while Jeyne looks like Daeron and is running around in black robes and leather.

Also, Jeyne constantly threatens to horribly murder Morghon (she doesn’t mean it), and Morghon is like “Aww that’s how she shows affection 🥰.”
