The Importance of Regular Pest Control Services for Homes and Businesses
A commercial pest control inspection is the first step in eliminating a pest . An exterminator will asses the extent of the problem, offer a comprehensive plan for extermination and provide a written quote. Exterminators use a variety of methods to get rid of rats, ants, mice, including pesticide foggers, gel baits and traps. The most effective method is usually a combination of two or three.
Even with Tukwila WA extermination and proper sanitation, don’t expect the cockroaches to disappear overnight. The amount of time it takes to get rid of them depends on the type of pest, the severity of the infestation and the control methods used, but the process often spans several months, with follow-up inspections required for a couple years. Renton Exterminators explained that an elimination of this type of infestation could require multiple visits. The apartment manager was instructed to notify all tenants to follow all of the preliminary steps for a successful Kent extermination before treatment was applied. Not complying would mean having to repeat the service. Seattle Exterminators is very successful in taking care of this serious issue.
To get rid of rats quickly, most people use traps or rat poison. Rat traps are very strong and can break a human’s finger. Putting children or pets at risk, carefully monitor any areas with rat traps to prevent any injuries. Before handling the traps, do not touch any household pets. Rats will not approach a trap that has the scent of one of its predators. Ingesting the poison can be fatal, and small children and pets are prone to tasting things even if unknown.
The Department of Agriculture examined the data on the resilient rat infestations and found it could be due to the construction boom that’s got rodents on the move.
As if traffic congestion and skyrocketing housing costs weren’t enough for Seattleites to complain about, here’s another problem to blame on Seattle’s recent growth spurt: Rats Could be an unintended consequence of the Seattle building construction boom.
Construction is definitely playing a role in it. Many clients in older homes near a property that is being redeveloped suddenly see the pests. When the home or building is knocked down it eliminates the habitat, but not the rats. Now the rats are on the move. So by living next door owners could wind up with some new, unwelcome housemates.
While new construction may be increasing the number of sightings, rats have long thrived in Seattle. Conditions here are perfect for rats as it doesn’t get that cold. So the rats go unchecked through winter. Also due to the abundance of lakes and streams and plenty of fresh water.
The need for pest control services can come from folks in older homes in North Seattle, Magnolia and Queen Anne, new construction in the suburbs isn’t any better. Sammamish Plateau is rotten with rats. The water-retention ponds that come with some newer houses are a habitat for rats.
Rat Control experience with professionals:
Do not use rat poison. For one, it’s truly awful stuff that slays rodents in a most unpleasant fashion the most popular formulas use anticoagulants, which make rodents slowly bleed to death internally. The rats have a tendency to crawl somewhere inaccessible before expiring, then stink up homes in a kind of posthumous revenge. Rat poison is also highly toxic to more than rats, it’s dangerous for curious kiddos and pets, too.
Rat poison kills all of the pests and more every year. Because anticoagulants take a while to work the dark magic, rodents tend to eat lots, concentrating the toxins in the rats bodies before dying. Ending up decaying insulated crawlspaces, some rats and mice head back outdoors, poisoning predators and scavengers creatures that are trying to give a hand with the rat problems naturally.
This problem has gotten so bad that the EPA recently ordered a phase-out of the worst kinds of anticoagulants, though it’s still on some store shelves right now. Other types of rat poisons also pose a risk to wildlife, though, so steer clear.
Sparing the critter’s life is an option with reusable trap because it can then be released back into the wild. A Dead or Alive situation would be that the classic snap trap delivers swift and humane justice. Just make sure to use enough of them: Experts recommend setting a dozen. Look for wildlife control organizations or outfits that use Integrated Pest Management tactics (IPM) rather than garden-variety exterminators.
Unlike in basketball, the best offense is a good defense when it comes to pest control. Once evicting the unwelcome guests, make sure a come back is impossible by sealing up all gaps, holes, or vents in the home with caulk or steel wool. Trim back tree branches that come within about six feet of roofs.
Finally, it would be remiss not to mention the most natural of rat control strategies: predators. A cat (or a rat terrier) might be just the thing to scare the rodents away. Or chew on this: A barn owl family can eat 3,000 rodents every year. Building a barn owl box can lure these rat assassins right to the yard as long as the whole neighborhood promises not to use rat poison, that is. The food web: Sometimes it works against the situation, but hey, sometimes it works for the issue at hand.
The Booming construction sites in Greater Seattle Area may be contributing to rat infestation issues. Homes and commercial businesses will be greatly affected. To get control of the situation call AMPM pest control services for an experienced professional

D&D, WotC, and What You Should Know and Do
So a lot has happened since I posted my blog about how the OGL would affect you, the player. I have so many words about all this, but I think if I want to actually DO something for the community, I should stick to what I'm good at and that's breaking down big complicated things into easy to deal with things.
Background on What's Going On: No surprise here - the D&D community is huge and spends a lot of money. WotC owns the IP, Hasbro owns WotC, they want more of that money and don't understand how to get it. All this One D&D, new OGL, and the purchasing DND Beyond is ALL them trying to get the biggest share of the D&D pie they can. People at the executive level DO NOT CARE about the community- in fact, the 2 people pushing this the hardest don't even play. They want to turn D&D into a video-game-like monthly subscription model and keep others from doing it as well.
What's a TTRPG Nerd to do?
Do Fill Out The Surveys: You should fill out the surveys. Even if your words in the provided comment boxes don't get read, your feedback in the check boxes does get considered. The comments are filtered through for key words and statements - so commenting is good, but just know it's not likely a human will read it whole. Make clear statements that use clearly understood things like "VTTS" and "3rd Party Publishers" so when they filter through the comments they can find clear patterns. (I can explain why more if somebody asks)
Do NOT Stop Talking About This: The thing WotC is most mad about is how huge and loud the community backlash is. The thing they want to do with the surveys is shut us up. They want us all to forget and move on so they can squeak in the most easily exploitable OGL 2.0 they can. So you CANNOT stop talking about it and filling out their stupid surveys and calling them out - even if you plan on boycotting WotC, you should still be loud about why this is bad.
Understand Why This is Bad: I've said it before - even if we all turn our backs on WotC, this sets a dangerous precedent for large corporation and creative IP as well as licenses. (I'm going to break down all the bad parts of the most recent draft in another blog). If they succeed, other companies WILL use this as a model for what they can get away with, and most of us don't have lawyer money like that. Additionally, they're coming for the VTTS people. They want to lock them out and make it so you can't use FX or animations- the entire thing is WotC trying to set up rules that they can use to squash 3rd party creators, make themselves the only game in town, and charge you monthly for it.
Come Together As a Community: I know there's several points of discourse within the D&D community, but now isn't the time. This isn't the time to argue about editions, "wokeness", or what things about D&D lore are problematic. Those are all valid and worthy discussions to have during times of peace- this isn't a peaceful time. Don't let WotC using phrases like, "prevent hateful and discriminatory" fool you. The execs DO NOT CARE. The time for setting aside the arguments and debates is now - stand against this crap together.
Annoy WotC: I can't emphasize THIS part enough - DO NOT be mean to the staff. However, you SHOULD totally call and tell the company what you think. You should totally email them. You should say things on ALL your social media. These are things the execs hate and pay attention to. BE NICE to the employees you may end up talking to. This isn't any of their fault. (I don't have the email to Chris Cao, but this is the guy who is being a jerk to his employees and pushing D&D being a monthly thing). WotC Customer Service: 1 (800) 324-6496 DNDBeyond Support: [email protected] WotC's Physical Address: 1600 Lind Ave SW Ste 400, Renton, Washington, 98057, United States [I REALLY like the idea of sending physical mail - I think I'll be sending some cards that say thanks to the employees, let the execs know they lost a customer]
What Should I Say? Ultimately, tell them why you won't be buying anymore WotC products/services and why. Do your best to make it clear that it's decisions being made by Execs who don't understand the product or community that have made you angry/disappointed. Tell them that the only way you'll forgive/forget is if they make the OGL friendly to the competition. It doesn't have to be complex- there's a chance it won't be read/heard at all - the important thing is numbers. Give the people working for WotC something to report to the execs. A lot of them are on our side.
Final Thoughts: I'm tired. This isn't the only fight I'm fighting, and I'm sure it's the same for you - this is another reason we can't give up. If we're going to be able to take breaks from this fight, then we all need to be fighting. Enough big corporations want to squeeze us all for as much as they can and I'll be damned if they're taking this away from me too. If it weren't for the harming of 3rd party creators, I would just walk away from WotC and not say another thing - but as I keep saying - this sets a dangerous precedent legally speaking. Most creators don't have the ability to fight big corps- so even if their case might very well win, it could still harm them financially.
Hang in there guys - stay mad, stay loud, and support each other.

masterlist
fill out this form to be in my taglist :)
pairing: sick boy x reader
word count: 781
a/n: ill man. this one's short! i hc sicky is good at stats because... because. please enjoy and interact if you liked it 🥰
Tommy knocked his sneaker against yours under the table, interrupting your deep concentration in your statistics assignment. You glared at his cheeky smile, slamming your foot back into his. This prompted a full-on spar, your feet tangling with each others as you kicked each other relentlessly, holding in your giggles to avoid the withering stare of the librarian. Lizzy looked at you two, rolling her eyes with a smile.
It had been a month since you’d moved to your new school and Tommy and Lizzy instantly took you under their wing, sitting with you at meals, keeping you company at the library while you “studied”, mostly messing around in the back of the room away from the watchful, derisive eye of the librarian.
Tommy let himself be defeated, and you returned your gaze to your assignment. The work was particularly difficult that day, and the numbers swam before you. You put your head down, trying to focus until you were distracted by the appearance of a suit jacket and the glint of a belt buckle in the corner of your eye, and you felt the gaze of the wearer burn into your head.
You looked up to see two men standing before you, grinning down at you. They sparked your curiosity - you hadn’t seen them around before. One stood with his hands in his blazer pockets, dark glasses framing his face as the pinstripes of his pants swam in front of your eyes, his hair a shock of ice blonde. The other stood next to him, rubbing the back of his buzzed head, his short, bright crop top revealing a flash of skin.
You looked back up at them, almost as a challenge. You’d be lying if you said they didn’t intimidate you a little, especially the blonde, his stance oozing an unwavering confidence.
“You’re not gonna introduce your little friend to us, Tommy?” He spoke, smirking down at you, an almost vicious tone to his voice as it cut through the silence of the library, eliciting a harsh “Sh!” from the librarian. His friend laughed.
“(Y/N), Sick Boy and Rent Boy.” Tommy smiled, pointing at them respectively with the tip of his pencil.
You blinked. “Your parents must’ve hated you.” You spoke, prompting them to laugh, Sick Boy’s lip curling upward, revealing his teeth to you in his wicked, strange, endearing smile.
“Nicknames. Mark Renton and Simon David Williamson at your service. Friends call me Renton. We’re friends, I hope?” Renton teased as he slid next to Tommy, slinging his arm around his shoulders.
You raised your eyebrows. “Pending approval.” You retorted. “But since you’re at my service, approval may be given quicker if any of you happen to be good at statistics.” You spoke, pushing your assignment toward them.
Simon slid into the chair next to you, his cologne strong up close as he took the paper in his hand, lighting a cigarette. He glanced at it and plucked your pencil from your hand, scribbling the answers down at a remarkable speed as he nursed the smoke in his other hand, you looking on, completely amazed.
“Do you guys go to school with us?” You questioned.
“No. Too clever for that shite. Rents is too fuckin’ stupid.” Sick chuckled, making astonishing progress on your work as Mark flipped him off almost instinctively. You looked down at him, hunched over your paper, his mess of blonde hair hanging over it. His tongue ran over his bottom lip as he concentrated. He finished the last question with a flourish, sliding the paper back to you.
“Sick Boy, you’re my hero.” You looked up at the work admirably, running your finger over the paper, feeling the ridges in his surprisingly neat scrawl.
He beamed back at you, sliding his arm over your shoulder. Sleazebag, you thought, affectionately. You smiled at him, meeting each other’s gaze.
“Why don’t you watch your hero play footie tonight?” Renton arched an eyebrow, smirking at you two. “Tommy, you coming?”
“Wouldn’t miss it. I can pick you up if you’re coming, (Y/N).” Tommy offered.
You glanced at Simon. “Sure.”
“You’re not allowed to smoke in here.” The librarian nagged, prompting Simon to tear his eyes away from you.
“Sorry.” He spoke, sarcastic, his lips twisted into an overly saccharine smile. He leaned back, pulling a hardcover from the shelf and stubbing the cigarette out on it. The librarian huffed as he and Renton stood, striding toward the door.
You watched Simon’s broad shoulders disappear past the shelves, looking back down at the book. Smoke wafted up from the scorched ring that sat in the middle of the first O in Dostoyevsky.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: The Complete First Season, a review
Tumblr media
https://amzn.to/2UK8uye
(Disclaimer: The following is a non-profit unprofessional blog post written by an unprofessional blog poster. All purported facts and statement are little more than the subjective, biased opinion of said blog poster. In other words, don’t take anything I say too seriously.)
Just the facts 'Cause you're in a Hurry!

Digital Copy (MSRP): 20 USD
How much I paid: 33 USD for both the digital and physical copy (This was when the physical copy cost more).
Animation Studio: David Productions
Licensed and Localized by: Viz Media
Audio: Japanese Audio with Subtitles and English Dub available.
English Cast: Johnny Yong Bosch as Jonathan Joestar, Michelle Ruff as Erina, Patrick Seitz as Dio Brando, Ben Diskin as Joseph Joestar, Wendee Lee as Lisa Lisa, Stephanie Sheh as Suzie Q.
Number of Episodes: 26 Episodes
Length per Episode: 25 Minutes on average. 21 Without Intro and Ending song.
Number of Discs: 3 DVD Discs in Total.
Episodes per Disc: Episodes 1 through 9 on Disc one. Episodes 10 through 19 on Disc two. Episodes 20 through 26 on Disc Three.
Also on: Amazon Video and Crunchyroll, a free streaming service with ads.
Bonus Features: Textless Openings, Textless Ending and Trailers for other Licensed Shows.
Notable Localization Changes: Because Parts 1 and 2 are set in early parts of Britain and America, the characters all adopt thick British accents, particularly Jonathan, Erina and Joseph.
My Personal Biases: I didn’t have any experience with the Jojo Franchise until I came across JStars Victory Vs.
My Verdict: Call it Bizarre. Call it out of this world. Call it slightly homoerotic. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, even before the introduction of Stands was an entertaining ride that included vampires, mad German scientists, Pillar Men and Breathing techniques in a steal of a 12 dollar package. If you haven’t picked this up yet, do yourself a favor and check it out!
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure The Complete First Season, a review
In 2012, David Productions took Hirihiko Araki’s manga, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and adapted it into what would be a worldwide phenomenon. The manga had been adapted previously into a series of OVAs (Original Video Animation) that only covered the most popular part, Stardust Crusaders. The anime starts right from the beginning and begins from the manga’s origins as well as the original character. Unlike other Shounen Manga, the Jojo series is infamous for (among other things) having multiple protagonists each being the different lead in a ‘Part’. For the first part, the protagonist or ‘Jojo’ is Johnathan Joestar while the second part has its protagonist in the form of Joseph Joestar.
I’m going to split this review between the first part, Phantom Blood and the second part, Battle Tendency.
Part 1: Phantom Blood
youtube
In 19th Century England, two very different boys are born into two very different families. Jonathan Joestar is the son of a rich nobleman and known for his kind nature and politeness, but isn’t so much useful in a fight. Dio Brando is born to an alcoholic father and despite his prodigy, he is most likely destined to a life of poverty, had Dio’s Father, Dario have a debt owed to him by Jonathan’s father, George. (This is because George Joestar mistakenly thought Dario saved his life when in actually Dario was in the vicinity trying to rob George’s corpse). In an attempt to pay off the debt, George adopts Dio into his family.
I know a lot of people gloss over the first part because it’s not what made the main core of the series, but there’s still a lot of fun to be had if you let it.
Dio torments and bullies Jonathan by killing his dog, stealing his father’s affection and even kissing the girl Jonathan fancies, Erina. But as the step-brothers grow older and older, they’re prepared to do battle for one another while Jonathan still maintains his gentle nature. However, when George takes ill because of Dio’s poisoning, Dio dons a very interesting Aztec mask that turns him into a Vampire. George, unfortunately, dies in the middle of the battle.
Using his wits, Jonathan sets his childhood home on fire and sets Dio ablaze. Jonathan comes out burned but alive. As Erina helps Jonathan recover from his injuries, a strange man confronts the two of them.
youtube
Zeppeli tells Jonathan that Dio not only survived the incident but has come back and is building an army of vampires. Zeppeli offers to teach Jonathan Hamon, the ability to use one’s breath to stir up the energy inside in order to imbue attacks with sunlight energy in the hopes of vanquishing Dio once and for all.
(Yes, the fact that the same voice performers who played Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki with thick British accents amuses me greatly.)
Though short, the series does have fun action scenes (including one fight with a chain).
Through his chivalrous spirit and quick wits, Jonathan defeats Dio.
Jonathan and Erina finally get married, but all is not well on their cruise to America. The disembodied head of Dio still remains and is causing havoc with its tentacles and laser eyes. Realizing Dio is too great a threat to go unchecked, Jonathan ensures the safety of the other passengers, including his newlywed Erina, and destroys the ship and him along with it.
And so, Jonathan sacrifices himself to save the world from Dio. Erina survives and lives in America.
Viz Media and BangZoom did the localization of the show and for the most part, it sticks closely to the Japanese Script. However, because the show is set in 19th century, BangZoom told everyone to adopt thick, British accents.
And it’s bloody hysterical. At times, I thought I was watching a BBC documentary intercut with a battle shounen.
I don’t know if Patrick Seitz can ever measure up to Takehito Koyasu’s legendary take on the character, but he makes a game effort of it. While Seitz’s voice doesn’t differ too much from his other role, the energy and performance are worthy enough (at least to me) to compare with his Japanese counterpart.
Johnny Yong Bosch is as Johnny Yong Bosch as he’ll ever be. He’s not bad as Johnathan but you can tell he’s struggling both under the accent and giant with a heart of gold persona. It’d be one thing if he were playing an edgy teenager like Ichigo Kurosaki or a kid like Renton Thurston but he’s caught in the role that might’ve been suited to someone else.
Keith Silverstein (who also voiced Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter) is having a grand old time as Robert Speedwagon. Marc Diraison (who voiced Guts in Beserk and ‘Zolo’ in the 4kids dub of One Piece) shows genuine emotion as George Joestar. Also, can we just give a hand to Michelle Ruff? I know she’s done a lot of roles, including ones from Ayako Kawasumi (such as Saber from Fate/Stay Night and Chikane Himemiya from Kannazuki no Miko) but she plays a great Erina both young and old.
With the end of Part 1 and the closing of Jonathan’s story, we move onto Part 2.
Part 2: Battle Tendency
youtube
So, it’s 1928, New York. We follow a black boy named Smokey Robinson as he’s being hassled by the police for being a pickpocket. Before this turns into a docudrama on the History Channel, a six foot stranger with a British accent appears.
Here we meet the Jojo of this story arc, Joseph Joestar, grandson of Jonathan and Erina.
youtube
(Yes, I find the fact that Joseph is played by the same voice performer as Kids Next Door’s Nigel Uno extremely hysterical. He’s even using the same voice!)
But all’s not well in New York. Joseph encounters a vampire that’s somehow resistant to Hamon.
With the rise of Vampires that are somewhat resistant to Hamon as well as the strange disappearance of Mr. Speedwagon, Joeseph sets off on a trip that will take him all over the world from the scorching hot deserts of South America to the beautiful city of Venice and even over a Volcano. The conspiracy leads to the awakening of the Pillar Men, ancient Aztec warriors who are bent on destroying humanity unless Joeseph can team up with the grandson of Zeppilli and stop them once and for all. Kars, however, might be the most difficult opponent of all and when he transforms into an ultimate superbeing capable of not being harmed by Hamon or Sunlight, Joespeh’s wits are put to the limit.
Here we get a distinct difference between the two protagonists. While Jonathan was honorable, kind and courteous, Joseph is devious, scheming and a bit of a trickster.
I really love Joseph. In fact, through parts 1 through 6, he’s probably my favorite of the protagonists. See, Joseph is constantly pitted against more experienced enemies that have a physical advantage over him. Joseph overcomes this by tricking and deceiving his opponents. Sometimes, his bluffs work because of his cleverness. Other times, he’s just damn lucky. Joseph likes to predict his opponent’s next line, say it and basically outsmart them.
At times, Joseph is willing to make a complete idiot out of himself, just for a moment’s opportunity to trick his foe. Such as dressing up in women’s clothing and bribing some enemy soldiers.
youtube
Joseph continues to hone is Hamon skills in order to defeat the Pillar Men. But not before meeting two beauties by the names of Lisa Lisa, a Hamon teacher who might have a secret of two and Suzie Q, a cute Italian girl.
Part 2’s filled with wall to wall exploits, including mad German scientists, Chariot Races and an incredible finish with Joseph facing off against Kars on top of a Volcano.
Joseph defeats Kars and returns in surprise to his own funeral, but not before getting a new metal hand and marrying Suzy Q.
And thus ends Battle Tendency. A lot of people consider this their favorite part and I’m among them. Aside from Joeseph’s antics, there’s a lot of fire and energy you just don’t see nowadays. From battling vampires on top the Brooklyn Bridge to flying a plane over a volcanic island to defeat an Ubermensch, Battle Tenacity had a lot of creativity and seeing Joeseph get out of each situation with his wits and sheer dumb luck is a joy to behold.
Ben Diskin (who also performed Sai from Naruto and Knuckle from Hunter x Hunter) is hysterical as Joseph and the fact that he has this thick British accent the whole time makes it worthwhile. Diskin’s always had a great range but him playing this buffoon makes the whole enterprise a laugh riot.
Wendee Lee as Lisa Lisa is fine (that’s not to say that Wendee Lee gives a bad performance, far from it. It’s just that after voicing so many roles, you can tell which ones she’s pouring her soul into and which ones she’s just putting on a funny accent. This is the latter). It’s also nice to hear Stephanie Sheh as Suzy Q being more of a lighthearted ditz rather than a shy introvert.
Aside from the wackiness and over the top reactions, what really sets this series apart is the animation. Using striking color pallets and digging into the manga aesthetic really sets the tone whether it’s Joseph goofing off or Jonathan fighting a desperate battle. David Productions made their name with this series and it’s no surprise they’ve been listed to do other works such as Fire Force. Even when the anime resorts to using a panning shot or speed lines, there’s a kinetic pace that pulls you in.
But, you didn’t come here for Jonathan, did you? You didn’t come here for Joseph, either. You came for a certain high schooler with a hat and a mission.
Stand proud, true crusaders.
Next time, we’re covering Part 3.
Verdict: Buy it! If you’re unsure, you can watch it for free on Crunchyroll.

How Do You Choose The Best Roofing Contractors
It is very important that yo It is very important that you get the roof repaired without any kind of delay. When you opt for roofing solutions, you are looking for ways that will help to repair the leak and other damage so that your property does not get damaged. Ignoring the roof repair can prove to be an extremely costly affair for you in the long run. If the roof breaks down and falls inside it will destroy all the furniture and your floor will break too. In other you will have to repair the entire house.
Instead of waiting for such a thing to happen why don't you hire roofing contractors Perth? If you do a Google search, it will show you the leading service providers in your city. Collect the contact information from there. Contact the service provider located nearest to your house. Ask them to send over the roofing contractors Perth to your address.
When the contract visits your house ask him to carry out an initial inspection of the roof. This inspection will reveal the damage that is already done and the kind of repair work required. Find out how many days it will take for the roofing contractors Perth to repair the roof. Find out about the cost involved as well. The cost will vary depending on the extent of damage and the kind of repair required. We suggest that you should ask the roofing contractors Perth without further delay. It will be a bit difficult to stay in the house with the roofing work going on. So you need to shift to somewhere else for the time being.
If you have relatives in the city you can shift there or you have to move in to a hotel. No matter wherever you shift, make sure to visit your house daily in order to keep a tab on the extent of work done. Your frequent visits will put pressure on the roofing contractors Perth to finish the work on time. If you ignore visiting the house while the work is going on, the contractors will start to relax and will delay the entire process.Ideally you should opt for roofing services at least once a year.
The immediate problems can be tended to as and when they appear but otherwise annual cleaning and maintenance of your roof is a must. Don't forget that it is because of the roof that your house remains well insulated in the different seasons. In fact, it is the roof that protects your property and all its residents from excess heat, rain, snow and all other changes in the weather.

Garage Door Maintenance: How to Keep Your Garage Door in Good Shape
Tumblr media
It's no secret that a well-maintained garage door can add value to your home. Not only does it keep your belongings safe and secure, but it can also improve the overall appearance of your property. If you're looking for ways to keep your garage door in good shape, then you've come to the right place! In this blog post, we will discuss some tips on how to maintain your garage door and keep it functioning properly for years to come.
One of the most important aspects of garage door maintenance is ensuring that the door is properly balanced. If your garage door is unbalanced, it can put unnecessary stress on the opener, which can lead to premature wear and tear. You can check to see if your garage door is balanced by disconnecting the opener and manually opening and closing the door. If you notice that the door is difficult to open or close, or that it seems to be "sticking" in one place, then it's likely that it's unbalanced and needs to be adjusted.
Another important tip for maintaining your garage door is to regularly inspect the hardware for any signs of wear or damage. Over time, weather and everyday use can take a toll on your garage door hardware, so it's important to inspect it regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any loose bolts or screws, or if any of the pieces seem to be rusting or breaking, then you'll need to replace them as soon as possible.
Finally, one of the best ways to keep your garage door in good shape is to have it serviced by a professional on a regular basis. A professional garage door service company can perform a thorough inspection of your door and opener, and they can make any necessary repairs or adjustments. They can also lubricate all of the moving parts on your door to help keep it operating smoothly. Having your garage door serviced by a professional is one of the best ways to ensure that it stays in good shape for years to come.
Follow these tips and you'll be well on your way to keeping your garage door in good shape! If you have any questions about garage door maintenance, or if you need to schedule a garage door service appointment, contact Perfection Garage Door Company today! We will be happy to help you keep your garage door in top condition. Thanks for reading!

Hydroxycut – “Hangry Man”
Here is one of 8 spots created for Hydroxycut, a diet supplement, with Unified Content providing production services for Iovate creative director Joe DiBenedetto.
This two-day shoot had us filming for a day and a half in a house in Leaside, ending at a nearby Longo’s grocery store after hours.
I love working on comedy and Joe’s concepts were all about extreme situations with funny comedic beats. Timing is everything.
Our actors were fantastic sports, and everyone gave terrific performances. There was such a variation in performances that Joe’s edit team had a myriad of directions to take the concepts.
All in all, this was a fantastic production staged by Unified Content’s Michi Lepik-Stahl and Laurie Kerr-Jones, lead by Rory Halsall as line producer and the incredible Vimla Mangru as PM.  Our cinematographer was Kevin Wong, who brought a spare, efficient approach to help make our days fast and easy to move about at the pace that was demanded.
But these days were really brought to life by director Joe DiBenedetto. I’ve not met many with as much energy and enthusiasm for his work on set. We can all learn to appreciate a little more when Joe is around.
Nice looking sandwich, Chiara Purdy!
