As a Moa-gene , I've seen the unnecessary beef both fandom has for eachother while the idols are so close like what-( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)

To me personally, Tubatu and Enhypen are like oxygen and water. You need both as much. You can't survive without oxygen but you can't really survive without water either. ( ,,⩌'︿'⩌,,)

Back when I i was a multistan in 2019ish I remember leaving the fandom frustrated because no matter which group I liked, the opposite group always hated on me and wtf is opposite group anyway ( ｡ •̀ ⤙ •́ ｡ )

So I was technically being hated by the fandom I was in <(ꐦㅍ _ㅍ)>

So I left the fandom altogether (txt, seventeen, skz, BTS, svt, Exo , twice, red velvet, itzy I was a menace (๑﹏๑//)))

But somehow I got bewitched by Tubatu and joined the fandom again and Enhypen are just so cute and talented (,,>﹏<,,)

So I don't wanna be in the same "why tf am I being hated by my own fandom" ૮(˶╥︿╥)ა ahhh mood again.

You were preparing dinner, a simple but tasty sandwich, one for you and one for your boyfriend, when you feel a pair of arms wrapping around your waist.

You smiled and turned your head to look at the redhead.

“Hi.” He said softly, with red cheeks.

“Hi, my love.” You kissed his cheek and smiled.

He blushed deeper and hold you closer, hiding his head on your neck. Making you giggle and ruffle his hair.

You were reading a book on your iPad, sitting on the coach when you heard the front door open and close.

You were attending one of the many end of the year awards with your group. You were a huge multistan so you loved seeing everyone’s performances.

All through the night, you kept stealing glances at Anton and smiling shyly, him doing the same. No one but your groups knew of the two of you dating, so in order to avoid scandals, you had to be careful.

He loved seeing you happy and excited, he thought you were so cute and looked too pretty.

Because of that he had a huge smile all night, making fans wonder what had him acting like that.

Anton was laughing at something Sohee said, not that far away from his girlfriend. He turned to look at you and saw the scene. By the look on your face, you were uncomfortable, he could tell by your body language and your smile.

“I’ll be right back.” He told his friends and strutted towards you.

He bowed when your friends noticed him and came a little bit closer to talk to you.

“Hi Y/n, can I speak to you for a moment? It’s pretty urgent.” He asked softly ignoring the guy.

“Yeah, sure Anton.” You smiled at him gratefully. “I’ll be right back.” You told the tall male who looked quite annoyed that you were getting stolen like that.

You walked away to a less crowded spot.

“Thank you, babe.” You spoke and took his hand. “You’re my hero.”

He blushed. “No problem, sweetie.”

also very analytical and observant i'd say. sometimes i let my emotions overrun my thoughts though, as i'm also a very big people person. because of this, i care deeply about others even if i have trouble expressing it clearly. i use humor to cope and hide my pains lol so a lot of the times my honest personal feelings are hidden behind walls :(

but i can be very blunt and honest at times. like i always believe in the "treat others the way you'd want to be treated" line so if someone had an issue with me i'd want them to tell me directly to my face no matter if it hurts.

last year 127central organized a bracket where fans could vote for their favorite title track by donating $1.27 and it was really popular with fans (https://x.com/127central/status/1701043086862716965?s=46&t=rtDww04bg8UG7actgmYBAw) she raised over $2000 i thought it was a really good idea it was fun and engaging and she sent a budget report to each donor at the end (https://x.com/127central/status/1760181966001856935?s=46&t=rtDww04bg8UG7actgmYBAw) idk if the admin changed or if she was just too busy to do something like this again but i was disappointed she gave up on the streaming team a few days before the comeback even if the streaming team is small it’s nice to have a united group working towards a common goal i had a good experience with the streaming team during fact check era it was fun to talk to other fans on discord and feel like i was part of something.

idk why 127 fandom is like this dream fans seem much more united and motivated to support their favorites idk what it is about 127 that attracts such apathetic and defeatist fans. solo stans are present in every fandom and attacks from solo fans usually make group fans feel more motivated to support the group not abandon them it’s not just solo fans and akgaes who are to blame. you’ve been in the fandom longer than me have 127 fans always been like this or when did the change happen? anyway i’ll try to enjoy this comeback by myself and remember to leave positive comments on things i like everyone is very vocal about what they don’t like but quiet about what they like

Before 2018 and Boss the fandom was small, mostly consisted of old fans of other SM groups and multistans with a long record. Then it started to grow gradually with influx of people after popular releases. The fandom at large was always told to be bad at participation in promotional activities, streaming and voting. Perhaps, 127 coming back once a year doesn't help either. As well as the division between the older fans (working adults) who pay for merch and concert tickets but don't spend time on X, and the younger fans (still in school) who comment a lot but don't have money and don't know how to listen to each other and cooperate, who discourage each other's efforts at streaming or voting.

I regularly see small-scale initiatives ran by country fanclubs or small groups of active fans: streaming of old songs to bring them to 100mln, calling to radio stations to ask for 127 songs, donations in their name. However, there is no big one centre that attracts talented fans with ideas and means. Maybe 127Central was founded with this goal in mind, looking at the name, but it failed somewhere along the way. It is no small task and requires a lot of effort and constant commitment. And admins are humans with their own problems and lives.

Keep in mind that there are successful fanclubs whose work is not seen because they are on other platforms or speak in different languages.

You mentioned that is fun to be a part of a streaming group and talk on discord. Fun and the feeling of doing something together is what drives people to participate, give money. FUN is the key word. The fandom culture and unity is not built overnight. New fans come and bring their own rules and opinions, make a fandom more toxic.

Yes. If you want to see a change in the world, start with yourself. There are two things to do: be positive oneself (as you correctly said, everyone are quick to complain and remember bad things, few comment when they like something or let others know that their actions brightened their day) and get rid of negative people around you (unsubscribe and ban with no mercy, you don't know those people on the i-net even).

Your old discord channel should still exist, no? Maybe try to gather the old participants there yourself? Even if there will be fewer of you, 2-5 people still can form a fun party. A tight circle of online friends is better than masses of anonymous and strangers on X.

Drop the name of the discord channel, maybe someone among the readers will be interested to join. Outline a few rules/what they should expect to interest them.
