👨‍👩‍👧‍👦- What's your family like?

To make it easier, I'll just focus on my own little family here! So it's only Ezio, my husband and myself. We're all pretty chill and laid back. My husband is a total car guy so when the weather permits, we go out for a drive. Sometimes we'll bring Ezio along by putting his bed on my lap because 50 lbs of fluff eventually hurts when he decides to really push his nails down. Other times we'll go out to the park with Ezio, walk around and I'll stalk them for pictures. We do biking, hiking, randomly visit different towns and cities around the state. And if we're sticking to our area (outside of the outdoor stuff), we'll play some games at home or he'll use his gaming laptop while I hop on the playstation. Nothing too crazy. We do host game nights sometimes, or I'll prepare dinner and stuff for some events (or we just all go out to attend whatever events he needs to go to) but we really are just pretty easy going people. We typically try to do stuff that involves Ezio as much as we can.

Made lunch, gave Ezio his medicine and some treats, wiped Ezio down after his walk (because it's still wet where we are), gave Ezio a belly rub, made sure to give Ezio all the pets, and then opened the door to my husband's home office to let Ezio in (because he really wanted to nap in there this afternoon).

One time my brother and I came home from school and since both our parents worked, we were alone. We had just come back from living in Ecuador so we had noooo clue that kids aren't allowed to be alone, and I think I was in the 3rd grade at the time. I got off the phone to tell my parents we made it home and I guess I didn't hang up correctly (to this day we have no idea how it happened) but next thing I knew, the police showed up to our house. I remember seeing one jump over the fence and look through the window so I freaked out and told my brother to go upstairs and hide. I heard the cop knock on the door to announce himself and asked me to open the door. I called my dad and he said to answer and let them in and to say that he was on his way.

The police stayed in our house and while I was waiting on the stairs, the two other cops actually walked through the whole house and brought my brother down. Apparently they found him hiding in the corner of my closet. My dad came and supposedly they said to him that they had some notice from our line??? I don't know but mannnn, I'll tell you what, after that I made sure to hang up correctly. That was when we used to have the corded phones on the wall.

🛍- What was the last purchase you made for?

Groceries! Ordering online definitely helps with adding time to my schedule that I can use for other things. All I have to do is just roll up and pick it up but if something's missing, I'll swing to this other store and buy it really quick.

How I feel about this character: When I was a teenager, first watching Inuyasha I think I was like most teenagers, I couldn’t stand Kikyo for the sole idiotic reason that I thought she was dramatic and was in the way of my OTP happening. Typical of a teenager which I now see it doesn’t make one bit of sense! After rewatching the series about...two months ago, I sobbed for her, I cried for her and I felt her pain. She is definitely one of the most tragic characters I have ever met, who I fervently believe deserved as much of a happy ending as the other characters. I can safely say now that Kikyo became one of my favorite characters. 

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: InuKik, NarKik (have a love-hate relationship with this ship though, it’s definitely NOT an OTP) and currently I’m in love with SessKik, the RP community opened my eyes to the big potential of this ship.

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: From canon content, it’s Kikyo and Kohaku because of how much dedication was poured in this bond and how even Kikyo gave up on her goal to destroy Naraku so that Kohaku could live. From RP content, I’m gonna be bias and say Hakudōshi and Kikyo, because I am in love with the content I’ve created with the Kikyo muns!!

My unpopular opinion about this character: Honestly I know it’s not an unpopular opinion but Kikyo should have lived, she should have been given the chance to be happy and I don’t mean it had to be by Inuyasha’s side, she could have easily moved on and found happiness somewhere else, even if she didn’t end up romantically with anyone, just the fact she was finally free and able to live the life she couldn’t have in the past would have made me happy.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I would have liked her to have had more contact with other characters other than the Inu gang and Naraku. I mean she got to interact once with Sesshōmaru and Kanna and then there was Suikotsu but that was about it.

Favorite friendship for this character: Despite their initial bickering I really liked the episodes where it was about Kikyo and Kagome, it showed they could really work together when Inuyasha wasn’t the topic.

My crossover ship: I honestly don’t have many crossover ships but for some reason if I had to pick one, and from the series I have watched, I would probably pair Kikyo with Shiro from Voltron.

It deals with a lot of serious topics like parental neglect, alcoholism, bullying, etc. Anyone who watched this show as a kid should go back and rewatch it as an adult because you’ll notice a lot of shit you never caught as a kid.

I'm seein' it's positive hours for greatinu mun and wanted to pop in m'self. I think for the first time I popped in here (unless I forgot), so... Henlo! I'ma be real with you, I only ever knew about InuYasha from my childhood in the worst bits and pieces 'cause I never kept up with it, but seeing some of your posts of Sesshoumaru was the push I needed to go through all of the show (procrastination sucks). You also seem super nice and sweet, even tho' we never talked before. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ♥

Dnakakshjfkshs today must be early Christmas cause look at all this sweet stuff I’m getting. I’m truly flattered beyond belief and I’m just... happy as all hell. You know, it’s funny cause that was the first reaction people who I followed/followed me and it’s been a real pleasure aiding in that nostalgia trip, even as far as rekindling their love for the series by rewatching or even trying to dabble into making a new roleplay blog for someone in inuyasha or even making an inuyasha verse. 10, 20, 26 and 27 for the salty ask list!

10.  Most disliked arc…well, there are lots of arcs I wasn’t keen on.  The Frozen arc on OUAT was pretty fucking awful.  Not just because Neal was gone (though that was a strong part of it) but it was just such a cheap cash grab.  It was so grossly capitalizing on the Frozen mania it put a really bad taste in my mouth.  What’s more, I hated when OUAT stopped playing with Fairy Tales and just started ripping off Disney movies.  It’s one thing to tribute the fairy tale (the yellow dress, chipped cup), but come on.  

20.  Purest ship in the fandom…okay, right now the only thing that’s running through my head is Sun and Mun from Sense8.  Rumbelle is definitely not pure (we have all the smut).  Maybe Swanfire, but Swanfire is dark and twisty enough to escape the pure status.  Yeah, I’m gonna go with Sun and Mun.  Who are closely tied with Amanita and Nomi.  Actually I think Amanita and Nomi beat Sun and Mun, just cuz they’re currently canon and made of pure sunshine.  

26.  Most shippable character!  I’m thinking Merlin, from OUAT.  The shipping possibilities that man had…yum.  Swan Wizard forever!  I think some people talked about Merlin and Marian.  Have we discussed Merlin and Regina?  Evil Queen and powerful sorcerer?  It could work, guys.  So would Merlin and Neal, come to think of it.  We need to consider the possibility of them banging in the Underworld.  OR A TRIAD, SWANFIRE WIZARD.  I wasn’t even watching the show and I loved Merlin more than anything ever and was furious he got killed off.  

27.  Least shippable character!  Sesshomaru, from Inuyasha.  As I get older and rewatch him, the more convinced I am that he is suuuper aro/ace.  I won’t pretend this doesn’t disappoint me.  I, too, wrote Sesshomaru/OC fics and discussed the possibility of Sesshomaru/Older!Rin.  But there has not been a single instant in the series where he’s expressed any interest in other women.  Or men.  Romantically or sexually.  Oh sure, he’s protective of his adopted daughter Rin and had an interesting connection to Kagura.  But anything else?  It’s just not feasible, guys.
