Their *placeholder name I call them is Crook and I wanted to give her a really overall similar color palette as to Crow's cause- Have you ever seen a thing where there's twins but one twin is good while the other is evil? Yea that's what I wanted to give here muahahaha

Werewolves definitely. I've never really understood the appeal of vampires - if I wanted to meet a lot of posh and pallid people in cravats then I'd go out on the gay scene in London.

That said I do admire the gothic aesthetic of OCs and blogs such as @fair-fae @under-the-blood-moonlight and @draculas-husband.

Also, whilst I was never into Twilight, when I was younger I was definitely more interested in that Taylor Lautner chap than Robert Pattison - give me bulging over brooding any day (night?) of the week.

What's a scene you read this year that sticks with you?

Difficult to say... Scenes don't usually get stuck in my head. But since I read it pretty recently... There was this piece in Red Dragon when I learned that I'll stand by Molly and Will till the end of the world.

When Will can't sleep, when he's already far from Molly and on the Red Dragon case, he can't sleep properly...

"He turned on the bathroom light and went back to bed. He pretended that Molly was in the bathroom brushing her hair."

Man... I don't know. It means a lot. I've never done that, although I did hug a pillow when I was away from my wife on business trips, but this is a whole different level of attachment and dependence. That's immense.

Or maybe I'm just a big fan of theirs, alright.

Redesign notes:

I opted for a darker color scheme since she’s an Umbreon/Espeon hybrid.

Starry freckles!

Made her hoodie Espeon-colored because the darker color of the original one just kinda blended in with the darer purple.

Gave her a ponytail because I was having trouble making the hair look nice in this pose. I think it looks cute!

4. What is your spookiest or most eerie personal experience?

Well I am not a superstitious man, but I did once have to collect some archived documents from an abandoned children's home.

At night.

In a storm.

I remember it feeling like a very sad place, but also I felt slightly afraid, as if I wasn't wanted there. I did tell myself not to be so ridiculous, but I kept thinking I saw things moving out of the corner of my eyes and it felt far colder than it ought to have been for that time of year.

I think I ended up calling a friend in a panic and asking them to stay on the phone with me until I could leave and then my battery ran out.

Nothing actually happened per se, but I remember feeling like crying and my heart was racing, even though there was no obvious reason.

I was very relieved to finally get out!

A year later they demolished the building and there are retirement bungalows there now. If there truly was something lingering in those draughty corridors then hopefully it is now at peace.

In Depth and Personal Munday meme

//Damn that is a hard one. But I think the last time was here on tumblr. A day when out of nowhere a lot of you moots started sending me messages about sending me love. No meme or anything. I felt so happy and proud be writing here. Making friends just by writing.

And a couple of days ago, getting a message about how people enjoy reading what I write and that it usually starts a big plot. I was very proud of my writing for the first time in a while.

Even now, I look up to them despite having RP'd with them for long enough to where we're good friends in/out of RP. I love them to bits and am absolutely humbled that they are willing to continue to put up with me LMAO

Especially Archivisim. Anyone else I talk to about RP posts and getting back to old ones, they would of unfollowed me and ignored me. But Arch has yet to shout at me for getting back to old threads/inboxes so I love them especially for being kind to me.

How would you summarize your reading choices for this year?

The Sandman.

But well, if we think about proper books, I learned a lot more about Soviet Russia and the feel of it through such books as:

- Gulag Archipelago by Alexander Solzhenitsyn

- I love Russia by Elena Kostyuchenko

- Dangerous Soviet Things by Aleksandra Arkhipova

- The Climb by Anatolii Boukreev

- War and Punishment by Mikhail Zygar

- and multiple novels by the great Soviet sci fi writers - The Strugatsky Brothers.

I think I understand my own country a lot more now. Which doesn't mean I stand by its choices, of course.
