welcome to my toku blog! it's pretty silly over here, but sometimes there are long, thought out posts cause i think too much.

i started this blog in 2021 to talk about power rangers, and soon enough i was watching super sentai, then kamen rider and ultraman.

What a wonderful mess of a season. A team that's constantly bickering with one another, One member not even being revealed to their team until the last couple of episodes, A man who has a heart attack every time he lies, A monkey who eats imaginary food, an insane manga oni, an insane pheasant husband, an a hero who made up the friends of his childhood.

#2 : Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger

Well this is a surprise, isn't it? Dekaranger isn't first! While it was a my childhood, I can't deny that I barely remember most of it as it's both subtitle-less Japanese and overdubbed in Vietnamese from when I watched it then. But still, the costumes, the characters, DOGGIE FUCKING CRUGER! Still up here near the top.

Ahhh, My first proper foray into the wild world of Super Sentai. I love it. I love them. I miss them. My first dive into Phantom Thieves as a concept. The first dual team season long, the first 6th who plays on both sides. I love them so much. I find myself listening to the song every now and then.

I started watching Tokusatsu with Power Rangers in 2011, and finally got around to watching Japanese Toku in 2021 with Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger! Since then I've also watched various Kamen Rider and Ultraman series.
