i had no like. actual thoughts about yanth as kanaya but bad just Vibes. i think its simply that the tridentarii have, collectively, equius, eridan, and fef vibes divided among the three of them.

i agree that yanth could not be a true vriska. she could be an imitator. thinking also about eridan getting fucking owned by rose in wizard combat.

the rose of harrowhark is very clear even though part of me does not want two see it. but also vriska rose parallels are mybestfriends

yessss yes yes in many ways rose and vriska are functionally the same character (heroes of light obsessed with both circumventing their ancestor's failures while trying to become them, both set on winning the game (in vriska's case through manipulation, in rose's through destruction -- similar to ianthe reverse-engineering lyctorhood and harrow trying to brute force it), both used by scratch to make english's path easier, both loved by kanaya for the danger and the challenge that their respective intellects present) -- and you could draw a similar list of parallels between harrow & ianthe.

He has only been gone since this morning and I’m already missing him like crazy!!! I hate when he has to leave. Even the short trips suck. You would think after all these damn deployments that it would get easier. It doesn’t. I was so ready and prepared this morning and even said “it’s only a couple weeks”. And now i just want to curl up with him and go to sleep. Probably mostly Bc i don’t feel good and Aunt Flo is in town. But also just Bc he won’t be home after work and he won’t be coming to bed tonight. I honestly don’t care what people’s opinions of military spouses are. Quiet frankly i do depend on him. As much as he depends on me. He is my best friend and yeah some days i want to strangle him. But i still hold on to the fact we hold hands going to sleep, and he kisses me every morning before work, and soon as he gets home from work. I know the sacrifices the uniform takes. I’ve worn it. But i also know the sacrifices the spouses make too. Crying in the shower after the kids go to bed. Dealing with cranky kids and having to be the bad guy and the good guy. Appointments and teacher meetings alone. Maintaining a home and well being of everyone else, when you are a thread away from falling apart. And keeping the moral of the soldier up and keeping them informed and updated while they are gone.
