Martin OR Naven... Since Levi is a familial demon i think he would have originally have been molly's mother's demon but was given to martin after her death and will probably go to lorelai and then molly.. good at business, he would definitely improve molly's sleep schedule, she wouldnt have to work. also imagining levi working in a toy store is silly. maybe he'll use the angle form while he's working so he doesnt scare the shit out of kids. yeah he'd probably be miserable working there actually but that makes the au fun :) as for naven!!!! i think levi would be much happier in this position, he gets to do business, all is well. but that CANT happen FUCK THAT GUY! make him work at a toy store full of CHILDREN! also naven and levi have the same default facial expressions

Yoomtah: (Smiles Brightly at her Boyfriend Beside Her) Alrightly then, Naven!~ What sort of anime you wanna binge through tonight that isn't One Piece related? Shonen, gorey, slice of life....(Gives Naven a Seductive Look on her Face) Maybe something more explicit to spice up the room if you know what I'm saying~ (Starts Moving her Eyebrows Up and Down)

Naven: (Smiles Sheepishly) H-How about we watch some more light-hearted this evening. Like that lovely Spy x Family show. I never had the chance to watch for myself as of late, but I have heard great things about from peers.

Yoomtah: Oh yeah, that show is a banger. And hella cute to boot, you'll love it!

Naven: I wouldn't deny that possibility. It'll be nice to take my mind off of things for once. Especially everything work related.

Naven: That's correct. Despite the name and villainous demeanor, he seems like a nice, passionate fello once you get to know him a little. Molly seems to hold him in high regards due to him being her boss in some capacity.

Yoomtah: Really now? So like what? Is he gonna try and look after her or something?

Naven: Given the care and support he gave her during that time, I'd say the possibility of that is above average. (Grabs his Chin While Thinking) Perhaps I could arrange a lunch date for the three of us sometime in the future....(Turns Back to Yoomtah) You're more than welcome to join us, dear.

Yoomtah: Hmm...Tempting, but I'm probably gonna have pass on that offer. I feel like I would get bored too easily in these kinds of meet ups, ya know?

Naven: Very well. The offer still stands if you ever decide to chance your mind.

Yoomtah: You got it. ('Sigh') But listen, Navey, you can't let what happened that day keep you down forever. That little girl still looks up to you despite everything, right?

Naven: (Smiles Sheepishly) I wouldn't exactly say that they're all obnoxious. But you're right. It won't do me any good if I keep dwelling on the incident any further. I will do better as a teacher and mentor for now on, that, I can promise you.

Yoomtah's heart flutters like a sound of a roaring car engine being turned on for the first time in minutes, as she begins to kiss all over her boyfriend's face again in a cuddling position. As surprising as the sudden affection was, Naven was more than happy to welcome it given how stressful today truly was for him earlier.

this is 9x funnier when you consider the types of commissions Ramsey is known for

1. I am very proud of myself for figuring out a way to swap Zora’s speech

2. I got SO close to making Ramsey call Zora a “Stardew Valley character” but decided against it because I wasn’t sure if SDV was too much of a passing trend that’d become irrelevant. now I kinda regret that decision because it probably would’ve been funnier and it’s not like these were made for posterity

I originally had Percy as Sylvie’s daughter just because 1) I thought for some reason maybe that was a thing in the AU??? I think it was actually people going “haha swap!Sylvie would totally adopt swap!Percy on sight” but then like it turned into an ACTUAL thing in my head, and then 2) it provided a VERY good excuse to get the police into the museum in the museum arc because nobody ever calls the police or trips the fire alarm

but then by the time we hit this part, I was 1) in love with the Ashling-King family unit, and 2) thought that having Percy around really added motivation to Sylvie’s character, and also gave another dynamic to the bond between him and Zora, which is just (chefs kiss)

I had a split-second heart attack about “WAIT HOW DO I GET THE CUFFS OFF ZORA, SHE CAN’T HAVE HER ARM CHOPPED OFF BECAUSE I DON’T THINK SHE COULD REGROW THAT/EVEN IF SHE DID IT’D BE GRAPHIC, AND RAMSEY’S NOT EVEN TRYING TO CUT HER HE’S TRYING TO TURN HER TO GOLD—” before I remembered that gold is soft enough to bite through and I was like aw yes nevermind, I got this

I knew I wanted a plot twist of some kind during the final battle because people wouldn’t be expecting it, but nothing that would impact the story, and this ended up working perfectly

THE FACT THAT ZORA IS STILL TALLER THAN HIM KILLS ME

I do not remember deciding that the height chart was Zora -> Ramsey -> Sylvester but that’s how it is I guess

we decided (and by “we” I mean Mari) that since canon Zora hates kids, of course swap!Zora must LOVE them, hence her softening up around Sylvie a lot once she learns he has a daughter :’)

the hardest swap of the Museum arc was Mera and Indus because they were TOTAL OPPOSITES

the hardest swap of the Redwood arc was Ramsey and Zora because they were the EXACT SAME ENERGIES

again... I felt there was just a liiiiittle bit missing with canon Percy and Ramsey’s dynamic, and for me personally, this moment fills that missing bit in. but that’s just me and this IS my writing, so XD

so, just as a heads-up, apparently the people who did the audiobooks changed around some of these minor-character (well, “not-yet-revealed character”) swaps

and since they know the AC characters better than me, I’d proooooobably go ahead and use their swaps if this project ever did continue?? hypothetically??? basically these last bits are all still malleable

I wrote this entire scene with Trixie and Phoenicia before someone pointed out that Trixie and Phoenicia already had swaps in this universe

Since a like criminals being parents, Molly ran away at 10 after her mom and ran straight into Zora. (Ps love this blog. I love aus. mostly because it's fun to see character you love in different situations).

First off I’ve gotta direct you to @epitheterasedgen’s Everyone Adopts Molly Zora route!! There’s a lot of good pure stuff that I could never (and don’t want to) beat. Secondly, thank you! I feel the exact same way, which is why I’m always making more and more aus.

-To start off, Molly isn’t quite as much of a doormat, that’s something that she developed from living with her awful family without her mom there to balance it out.

-Zora will let Molly mourn for a bit, but then is very determined to drag her out of it. She’s not going to let Molly wallow in her sorrow forever.

-Her way to do this? Hobbies! She teaches Molly a ton of various things, from wilderness survival to embroidery.

-They bond over sewing and embroidery. Molly is amazed that Zora would take the time to learn that sort of skill. That’s around when she actually starts to consider Zora a friend and maybe parental figure.

-Molly worries about her when she’s out. She doesn’t have a very good idea of what it is that Zora does, but she knows that she’s a criminal and that crime is dangerous.

-Yoomtah babysits sometimes when Zora’s out for a long period of time. It’s more chaotic and dangerous than it would have been if Molly were left to fend for herself.

-Zora makes Molly a little bandana/scarf with bear decals. She originally planned to make a poncho like her own, but didn’t want to seem like she’s trying to replace Molly’s mom.

-She also gets very upset when Molly says anything about wanting to go back to her sister and dad. In Zora’s opinion, family is the people you want to be with, not the people you share DNA with, and it makes her furious that they didn’t even bother to look for Molly.

-They run into Martin once. The only reason why Zora didn’t shoot him on sight is because she’d feel bad about killing Molly’s father right in front of her.

I’ve got more but my brain is fried so. Part 2 eventually!

Broken Heart at Midnight

WARNINGS: there are going to be some dark themes in this little prompt? i do these randomly from time to time if you’re new to the blog. :3 

Anyways, the main warnings are: Alcohol mentions, thoughts of suicide, and parent death mentions are strewn throughout the prompt. I mean, this is Yoomtah we’re talking about. If you’ve read most of the HC stuff I have for her, then you already know where this is going.

It was rare times like these where she really wished she was still with her mother. Zora wasn’t around, and the boss went elsewhere to talk to some more important people about something else . . . She never paid any mind to those things, it wasn’t her business, anyways. Her arms were wrapped around her knees, and she rested her chin against her knees. Eyes glowing faintly and her cheeks emitting a soft yellow hue alongside her solemn gaze, she huffs out softly into the cold night. The air leaving her clashed with the cool, and it created a dragon-like effect. 

Childishly enraptured by it briefly, her eyes flickered from the cloud that left her, then to the side. She felt like she was missing something, even though she couldn’t have been. She enjoyed her time with Bliss Ocean, but at the same time it wasn’t . . . Enough. It didn’t keep her attention all the time, and she considered leaving to move in with that lovely old lady she worked for in her free time. She seemed to genuinely be happy in the bakery, and Yoomtah wanted to feel that same amount of happiness, too. 

It was hard, especially when she thought about taking her life so many times - Though, it’d be a waste if she did. Nobody else in the world was even remotely close to Yoomtah in personality - Nobody as eccentric, bubbly, or flashy as she was. A small, faint laugh left her as tears bubbled up in her eyes. 

“ What am I even doing here? “ She mumbles, arms squeezing around herself a little tighter as the metal of the prosthetic legs jutted uncomfortably through the pants and her jacket sleeves. The hat was held by the rim in between her fingers, and she dropped her gaze to it all together - There were a few things Yoomtah pretended to be, and the minute she was out of sight it flipped like a current powering a switch. Right now; It was dark. Whenever she was around someone like . . . Molly, per-say, she would be brighter than normal! It was just the others personality that made Yoomtah try not to show how dangerous she actually was - The younger girl did only know a little bit of what she could do. Yoomtah was no joke, really. 

Then again, when it also came to someone like Zora, she’d be a different person, too. So on and so forth. She’d adapt and switch aspects of herself in and out to be able to click better with people, and all while hiding all these nasty little termites in her brain. There was just this godawful stinging sensation in the back of her mind all the time - It was hard to ignore when she wasn’t talking to someone else. 

It’s been like this since her mom died - Since they’d gotten divorced, even . . . She couldn’t think about anything else lately due to it having almost been the same day that her mother had passed, and that she lost one of her legs. That was when she had to beg for money on the streets to pay for the surgery. After having left the hospital on her own, she stumbled around with her right leg missing, and she used a walking stick to be able to move about - She couldn’t afford a crutch. Her other leg was already metallic due to something happening at birth and the doctors just bandaging it up at first. As she got older, they suggested getting her surgery for it. The first payment was the big one, and her father actually sent money to pay it off for her mother. God only knew she was damn near helpless when she was alive. 

Yoomtah had to learn to fend for herself at a young age, and when begging didn’t work, she’d rob people for their money. Collecting led to hoarding, and at some point she assumed she just had enough - Turns out stealing $200 dollars worth of coins from purses and dollars from wallets wasn’t enough. The surgery would’ve been $5,000, and that was also in account for if it wasn’t compatible with her body or - or some other stupid thing the doctor wanted the money for. 

Sitting here on the rooftop reminded her of the first day she actually met her boss. Standing on top, above the city . . . Looking down and ready to accept that she shouldn’t be here. They never asked how she got on the roof in the first place, but even then they just offered her an escape route to her dilemma. 

She accepted.
