New "Power Rangers" Anthology Announced

BOOM! Studios has announced a new Power Rangers anthology written by Power Rangers actors about their characters. Writers on Power Rangers: Across The Morphin Grid are David Yost, Walter Jones, Steve Cardenas, Mat Groom, Nakia Burrise, JD Sutphin, and Meghan Camerana. Art for the anthology is by Paulina Ganucheau, Tango, Patrick Mulholland, Domo Stanton, and Anand Ramcheron.

Power Rangers: Across The Morphin Grid #1 goes on sale on October 30, 2024. The main cover is by Ejikure with variant covers by Riley Rossmo, Goñi Montes, and Matt Taylor.

I’ve officially met 3 more Power Rangers! Walter Jones, Karen Ashley, and Nakia Burrise we’re all so sweet and wonderful!

I walked away from the con with a ton of PR figures, 30yo glow in the dark stickers, some car decals, a replica Dragon Dagger, a stuffed Cindaquil, and a couple PR shirts! What an incredible weekend!

So apparently it was an intentional decision for Kat to not specifically mention her relationship status with Tommy! And earlier versions of the script did have her and Tommy separated, though still raising JJ together (According to Catherine Sutherland herself on a livestream on her and Nakia Burrise’s Power Rangers Playback channel)

Obviously doesn’t really confirm or deny anything in the special, but just something I found interesting to hear

On the one hand thank god I'm not THAT delusional of a Tomberly stan and there was some level of intention in the weird vibe I felt, but on the other hand the fact that "TomKat divorce" might actually be canon in some way makes me feel insane. I went into this special expecting the show to fully kill Tomberly but now it's more open to them than it was five years ago. What the fuck
