got me thinkin on dawnburnt stuff now lmao

with Alex's arc of being dawnburn ive always personally gone with the use of irrigo mixed with apocyan (relevant with is being Josephine and Fires being the ones trying to Deal With That), to physically remove the memory of the dawnlight from Alex's head.

the consequences of that of course is he quite literarly doesn't remember anything involving it afterwords, and its always a question of whether that is really enough to work

i was talking with @thedeafprophet and we were siacuasing Moonlight in Fallen London vs moonlight irl, and how in real life it's the reflection of sunlight. I was also thinking about how there's Parabola, the Is-Not, a reflection of the Is, and we were discussing how Sunlight is Law, that what is existing, and how Moonlight it what could have been or should have been. Which got me thinking about Moonlight as a *literal* reflection of Sunlight. what should be or could be. there's also the Moonlit Chessboard and how what happens there (under Moonlight) reflects back into the waking world.

and now i want to take a good look through Cut With Moonlight (summaries and echos appreciated) and write a fic about my little color chemist (and Neathbow Specialist) Elias (with ties to the upper river) making this theory and experimenting more with Moonlight.

cool thing about cosmogone: not only is it the color of lost suns and named cosmo + gone, cosmogony is a real word and it is the science that deals with the origins of the solar system
