I saw someone else write it, but I wanted to add more.

Groomers groom their allies too. Predators sniff out the weakest and most damaged to be their prey. But when they find strength, they project their “safe” image. They loudly proclaim their goodness, their support for victims, their feminism. They are counting on this so that *if* they get caught, there will be a group of people who can honestly say “I can’t believe this, I never expected it from them.” Because they need you in their corner to help them discredit their victims.

Don’t beat yourself up if someone turns out to be shitty. Don’t waste a second of your energy wondering how you missed the signs. They showed you *exactly* what they wanted you to see. Their narcissistic manipulation is on THEM, not on you.

The best thing you can do moving forward is to give your strong voice and your power to the victims. Don’t apologize for what you didn’t know, don’t make it about yourself.

“Knowing what I/we know now” is a valuable phrase, use it to speak out against the predator.

They are counting on your doubt: self-doubt, doubting the victim. Don’t give it to them.

Wes Hæl- Angels, Devils and Man's-kin and Others- I'd will that yall me hear

It is as a walker of the Mark that I, by heart's will and against mind's best judgement, come now here to yall story-players. I before last summer's heat was amid many who watched the doings of two heaven's-kin, one long ago fallen, that serpent who in eden then was. Those who watched all seemed well to me to be kind and good-hearted, great of craft on song and spell and dream, of cloths worn and held, of paint and pencil, and what we held was good, and of love.

Two summers afore now, within this tale sorrow was brought by the Metatron- I know him well, the bastard - who just as ten years ere brought his same ill-council to that same angel, Serpent's-Friend, Serpent's-Heart-Holder, he who by Heaven is prized and would Heaven mend, Earth-Walker Beholden to None and Half-Hidden from all, a bright fool by any name. Then from this the Serpent again from his love was parted with strange tricks, and that angel Appolyon again walks earth, and even aside the story, by some strange chance, those same two singers, the Song-Twisters who words of other songs change- that same pair sang in this foul season that, ten years before it, sang in my own dark-eyed time, though too short it was, by that Metatron's hand. Funny how it is... truly all devils such as myself will return in ten years' time- know you that.

And yet near one year from when sorrow broke the spell within, far greater broke it from without. It is many times seen that those of mankind who speak as God are in soul and mind and behind locked doors a most true evil- and this summer past, all us who listened to one such man learned that the evil of such men strays even far from faith or from the churchdoor. In this and after I saw the great-minded and full-hearted people I once watched with turned wretched- wracked in grief, some their souls stained by staying with their now-evil stories, others, fast and first to break full-free, sank soon as low in tearing down those who stayed, hurling death-messages and denying their friends-turned-foes' place among mankind for their ill loyalty. And many more drifted at as many places between, unsure, myself among them. And again at this winters' depth these truths and this evil was made more known, and again to wreck we were. Now there are shreds of this great group I once moved among.

Now- to go back within the story- it is against my mind and a bit of my heart, truly, that I do this. But I remember when we sang of love.

It is us who do not deserve to shatter ourselves against some man's cruelty- know all yall that. That angel Serpent's-Friend- or perhaps the Serpent himself by his own friend's name- ten-and-some years before now gave me a favor that I may never repay in my long life- a life greater to me than my own was returned. As now, the Metatron had with that same ill-council Serpent's-Friend, and Appolyon, and an other angel turned to evil things in guise of Heaven's mending, and as now Heaven was against much grief dashed and wrecked.

Now, as then, I come to you as a Child of Cain, Walker of the Mark, That Demon Who At Water's Edge Would Dwell, Mere-Born, Knife-Ready, Flesh-Tooth-Stained, Earth-Hearted, Keeper of the Hearth in that Under-Earth-Hidden Cave-Hall of Monster-Slayers Past, Fatherless Road-Wanderer, God-Fighter, Theomacha, Elder of Two Together-Told, Mother of Many, Mother of That Most-Famous Cursed Giant Who God's Ire Holds. As payment for Serpent's-Friend's own gift to me I offer to guide yall well through the Mark, from your own evil-written story and to less-stained lands, as I myself fled my own death five winters ere.

I remind you that no part of Eden, nor the Serpent, nor the Fall, nor Revelations nor Metatron, were by that evil man written. These names and story-roads to all are open, and many other names for Heaven-kin and Hell-kin and all those around them as well are given freely to yall for using. And by my own self can you see that well into newer days things have been written that are all-by-chance well close to this Omens'-tale. Especially I would tell you of some stories of the Fair Folk, the Good People, aós Sidhe, however yall may call them. Many well-lettered men have written that at least some of these Good Folk come of angels who fell at Earth's earliest, but having not the evil for Hell yet not the good for Heaven, were instead bound to earth in some unhuman yet roughly man-shaped being, to live their hedonistic ever-dances.

If you can, with strength of will and names new and no threads remaining to bind you to that evil man's words, make yourselves free of him- then through the Mark I, gladly and with much hope in heart, invite you to join them or any other in the endless winding-places of story. Please- hear me- we all deserve better than this.

Soon = turns out not very soon. BUT IT IS FINALLY CLOSE!!

Writers block, irl problems and duties threw me off and I basically rewrite from scratch the chapter that I am still working on, like three times, but I finally think I found a direction that I like.

That being said, let’s go to the elephant in the room: the Neil Gaiman scandal.

Fuck him and everything that he did to those ladies. He is evil.

Yes, he is a good writer, we cannot just pretend that he isn’t. But he is an awful human being, that did terrible things to other people. That may not discredit his talent, but certainly makes me feel disgust by him and any appreciation for his mind that I had. No matter if he pulled out the greatest book ever written out of his hat, he lost my interest, my curiosity or anything else along those lines, and all that is left is my “You are a despicable and disgusting abnormal immoral man, who needs to be completed isolated from society in awful conditions and even that will not repair the damage that you did, so I just hope you slowly rot and die after a long fight from sepsis that eat your flesh alive” discourse that can be used for any rapist and/or abuser ( he is not that special that he needs a speech just for him, he is just another awful man in a sea full of others).

Now that we got that straight. My fanfic will continue, in respect to all the people that love it and in respect to myself. This dude will not make me kill something that I love.

Let’s talk the Second Coming! We start off and warm up with everything plot-related. Theories, meta, crack ideas, let’s hear your thoughts on where you think the Big Main Plot is going to go!

DAY 2: “I can make a difference!”

For day two, let’s focus on Aziraphale’s arc in season 3. Did he go to Heaven with a plan? Or is he winging it? (Pun only somewhat intended.) Was he threatened or manipulated or both or neither? Will he tell Heaven just where they can stick it or can he actually succeed? What’s in store for our favorite angel?

DAY 3: “Hated by Heaven, loathed by Hell. How will our hero cope?”

Day three is all about Crowley and what we think he’s going to get up to. Is he going to go drink himself senseless and have a good cry? Go snek and hybernate for a bit? Hang out with Muriel and do some tempting? Does he have a plan and how will he cope being on his own?

DAY 4: “There was magic abroad in the air…”

Let’s talk Ineffable Husbands! How are Crowley and Aziraphale going to resolve things between them? Will there be a massive fight? Radio silence for days/weeks/months/years? Will they learn to Actually COmmunicate? Will there be grudges, grand gestures, secret meetings, a big rescue mission from either side?

DAY 5: “Extreme sanctions.”

On day six we wanna make ourselves anxious, sad and upset. (As one does.) What thing that may or may not happen in season 3 are you most worried about? Dark/depressed/evil/etc Crowley? Memory-wiped/brain-washed/archangel Aziraphale? Book of Life? How could Neil & Co hurt us the most?

DAY 6: “Do you…want a hot chocolate?”

After day 5’s spiral, it’s time for a metaphorical treat. What are you most looking forward to in season 3? What do you really want to see? Headcanons coming true? Scenes you wish for? Things that’ll make you wanna name your cat/dog/fish/insert other pet here Neil Richard Gaiman or Sir Terence David John Pratchett?

DAY 7: “It’s starts, as it will end, with a garden.”

Finally, to finish it all up, let’s speculate about the end of season 3. How do you think we’ll leave this story? Will things just go back to how they’ve always been? Will there be peace? Earth hidden from Heaven and Hell with a big 500 Lazarii miracle? Aziraphale and Crowley turned human? Or will they get their cottage in the South Downs for the rest of eternity?

I'm glad to be back! It's been a hell of a time away 😅 I was going to make a separate post addressibg some stuff but I'll just do it here to save time 🤣

SO! It's been a minute since I've been online. Sorry all about being MIA but after all the stress in my personal life as well as stress within the fandom I really needed a break to reevaluate some things.

First and foremost I have heard and read about all the shit going on with Neil Gaiman and I do NOT and will NEVER support his actions (seriously fuck Gaiman I hope he rots). I was unsure if I was even going to continue the projects I have within his works (the Burden rewrite, The Sandman and the Girl Without Dreams sequel, the Stardust x Sandman crossover, and of course Cursed). I eventually reread The Sandman and the Girl Without Dreams and Burden and all the amazing oneshots you guys sent me over the last request week and I just love these stories I've written - the stories that proved to myself that I can write and that people will like that writing. I've put so much hard work, time, love and pieces of my honest to god soul into these projects and I just really love each and every one of them. So, I've decided to do my best to separate The Sandman (and other works) from Gaimen and not give him any more support (financial or otherwise). I will still watch season 2 of Sandman to support everyone else that worked on it (actors/actresses, writers, designers and so on) but I will not be buying any merch or books officially affiliated with Gaiman. If me continuing these projects makes any of you uncomfortable please tell me and I will reevaluate continuing the projects.

Second, I have been working on a lot of my projects but will likely not start posting super regularly until I reach a place where I'm ahead enough that I can post on a set schedule so you guys don't have to wait months between updates and I don't have to stress myself out over not updating fast enough.

And third, I just wanted to tell you all how thankful I am to all of you for your continued support. Your comments and your messages and everything has helped me more than you guys could ever know. I love yall and I hope you continue to enjoy my work. 🥺😊❤

The allegations are BS. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE between saying “believe all women” and “the facts don’t matter, the allegation is the proof”. In this case, the sources and information are insanely vague and lack any sort of information that would constitute a true “allegation”. PEOPLE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO INFORMATION BUT HAVE ALREADY DECIDED HE IS GUILTY. People don’t even know what he’s actually accused of anymore because the story has been fabricated and spun so heavily already. I see some saying “he sexually assaulted an actress” or “he assaulted his 20 year old nanny” or “he slept with his 20 year old nanny consensually but it’s still wrong because he’s famous” like WHAT?!? Those are all very different allegations, and not a single one of them have a true source or piece of verifiable information (could be YET or could be NOT AT ALL). Every “source” is just someone saying “I saw some other person say it”. It’s like a bad game of Telephone. It’s not real. Too many people nowadays can just say someone did something to them and people will take it and run with it without fact checking or researching a thing. There are no real, credible sources and absolutely ZERO verifiable pieces of evidence to even remotely prove that it’s true. Crazy that all it takes is for a person to say something online or in a podcast that’s completely made up and BAM- it’s everywhere and they have successfully ruined someones life and career while boosting their own platforms for a quick viral moment. Fame is a hell of a drug. People will do or say anything to have their moment and no one stops to ask “WHY would this person say this? WHY would this person want this particular fanbase to be involved? Why now? WHY would they reveal this allegation in such a silly and fake-sounding way that any lawyer or attorney would completely advise against until actual investigations have been conducted?” People will believe anything they read nowadays. Such a shame. And when the allegations are proven to be as fake and staged for a viral moment as they sound, I hope every person that so easily believed the lies and turned their backs without a shred of information or common sense feels ashamed of themselves. Social media has truly rotted peoples brains 🫠

What’s crazy is- whether Neil is guilty or completely innocent, his reputation and career are ruined. No information, no factual sources, no investigation info, and everyone has still already decided to stone him. The Sandman will likely be boycotted, Dead Boy Detectives will never see a second season, the Sandman fandom will fizzle (you already said that even you intend to be part of ending it on here). He is more than likely innocent and it won’t matter because people have already decided his fate. Sad as hell.

I would rather support the victims and be wrong and apologize than be silent about something like this. I will never feel ashamed for standing up for what I believe is right. Neither will I feel ashamed for learning that I was wrong and being taught better.

I said in my original post (which I'm assuming is what made you send in this in the first place) that I understand that the situation is very complex - that the information regarding both parties and the publishing company that made the story made the allegations unclear.

I've also said that I am still a Sandman fan, just that I will not support Neil Gaiman any longer. Which, wouldn't be all that difficult for me as I didn't even know his name until I watched the Netflix adaption of The Sandman. It took me another year to even bother looking him up and learning that he was also the author of other popular works that I enjoyed.

My love for The Sandman and the fandom is not tied in with Neil Gaiman. I love the actors and workers that made the show possible, too. I love the people who create art and write fanfics, that I've met because I decided to share my love for the fandom as well.

I also never said that I would stop posting my Sandman fanfics on here, just that I believe it would be best to refrain from doing do now given the circumstances. I believe myself to be a small and (relatively) new blog and one blog in the humongous fandom that is The Sandman. So even if I did decide to quit, I doubt would cause the fandom to fizzle.

At the end of the day, we don't know what kind of person Neil Gaiman is because he's just another person on the internet. You don't even know the kind of person I am and how and why I would take my stand the way that I do. If you want to defend Neil Gaiman and whether or not he is guilty or not is completely up to you.

If you don't agree with me, that's fine, but do not come onto my blog and tell me or other people how they should feel about the situation or shame them for being hurt by the information, too.
