Day 3 - Childhood

Yeap, I'm participating twice today (this is what happened when you ask your friends with what ships to write and you receive a list!). It’s fun, tho. I like to write with my babies.~

So, yeah, I’m here with TurkSpa (Turkey x Spain)! It was @fukurodamn who asked this ship, so, I hope you like it.

Most people never forget about their first love and cherish it tenderly until the end. Antonio was no exception... Well, perhaps it is an exaggeration to say this since Antonio didn't remember the face or name of the boy he liked, but he remembered the jokes and the conversations they had. He wasn't to be blamed; whenever he saw him, this boy wore a white mask that covered his eyes and said only that he was the Sultan. He was so fond of this character that he had never revealed his true identity to Antonio.

How did you meet? It's a funny story actually. They lived on the same street, but it was necessary for the Sultan's cat to invade the Spanish yard to meet him. After all, what kind of cat was that to carry a paper bag on his head? Antonio was curious and followed the cat to the owners' house. Without thinking about the consequences, the Spaniard entered the backyard of the Turkish family without asking for permission and there he saw it, his first love. Disguised as an Ottoman warrior, the kid paced to play alone, waving the wooden sword against his invisible enemies, that it's, the air. The cat approached his younger owner and meowed to him.

"Ah!" Exclaimed the Sultan, excited to see his cat. "Aslan, where have you been, lad?"

The cat meowed again, but the Sultan didn't care. He was surprised to see Antonio standing there watching him with curiosity.

"Hola!" Antonio greeted, approaching as if he weren't an intruder. Ah, he was naive then. Nowadays, he was still a bit, but that's beside the point. "Is this your cat? He was in my yard!" "Yes!" "My name is Antonio, what is your name?" "I'm the Sultan of these lands!" "Oh really?!"

Obviously, the little brat wasn't a sultan, but Antonio believed it. In fact, he didn't even know what the hell was a sultan, but with the enthusiasm of the other, it must have been something incredible. After that moment, they became great friends and spent the afternoons playing. It was a good time, fun and full of life. However, like all the stories of first love in childhood, the Sultan moved away. He was going to be a sultan of other lands that Antonio didn't know. He thought he would never see him again.

But fate likes to play a little. It was his first day in college; there was no need to say that he understood nothing of it. He sat in the middle chairs and hoped that was a good place. It didn't take a lot to a young man approached and asked if he could sit next to him. The answer was positive, of course, Antonio was a lovely person and was always willing to make new friends.

"Wait... Are you Antonio?" "Yes... Do I know you?" The Spaniard looked at the other, not recognizing him. But truth be told, he was a piece of man. Hot damn. "Don't you remember me? I'm Sadiq! " "Who…?" "Oh, I never said my name, how stupid I am," laughed Sadiq. "I'm the Sultan!"
