Nellie Partow takes an effortless, modernist approach to design and is a big believer in eschewing trends in favor of individual style. Upon graduating from Parsons, the designer worked for top American designers such as Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and John Varvatos for ten years. Nellie Partow launched her eponymous label, Partow, in 2011. In 2014, Partow was invited to give a TED Talk, and in 2015, she became a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America.

her clothes are driven by a desire to make women feel strong and empowered. Partow established an aesthetic rooted in minimalism, unstudied luxury, and a tension between modern femininity and masculinity.
