Going Underground (Continuity)
The “underground” exhibition Continuity [Sviaz’ vremen] has been underway in Petersburg since September. The parents of Yuli Boyarshinov, who was convicted in the Network Case, were involved in organizing it. The exhibition is dedicated to political prisoners. They produced some of the works on display themselves using improvised means while in pretrial detention centers and penal colonies.…

EJ past headcanons:
Bloggers note ✍:
This is a more in depth analyse of Eyeless Jack's past. This will also be the last EJ headcanon for now.
⚠️ Please keep in mind that this is mine version of EJ and that I mean no disrespect to anyone this is only made for entertainment purpose. All credits to the rightfull owners of Eyeless Jack and Jenny's charcater.⚠️
⚠️TW Mention of rape, cannibalism, abuse, himulation, some parts might be disturbing so please do keep that in mind. Your mental health goes above anything.⚠️
⚠️ English is not mine first language so i'm sorry for any grammatical mistakes.⚠️
With that out of the way let's get into it...
♤College days♤
• Jackson Nikolay Adams 'Dmitriev' was a 20 year old med student who was born on the 21 november of 1991.
•Jack went to med school because his dream was to become a Thoratic surgeon one day.
The reason as to why he wanted to become a Thoratic surgeon is because his grandpa died because of a chest wall tumor.
•In his college days he deticated his days to mostly study for his subjects.
•That's why he could be mostly found in his room and with his nose in the books.
• Even though he studied most of the time, he did find the time to sometimes go out to parties that where hosted by his best friend Noah Johnson. Though both men came from wealthy families, they both had different priorities and mindsets in and about life but somehow they made a friendship work out.
•Noah was more of the 'rich fuckboy' type while Jack was more of a 'family man'.
•Even though Jack went to some parties, he never was a fan of them, he just found them pathetic. So he mostly stayed behind and talked to some people who didn't annoy him.
•Jack never realy was a introvert he just selected a view people he deemed worth of his attention and effort.
•In class he was known to be a calm and patient student, a straight A student and as someone who had almost always answers for your questions, that's why he was mostly looked up to as a some sort of mentor figure for new students and he loved and thrived of that because Jack loves to be a mentor figure for younger pals.
♤His past and relationships and more♤
Jack's name before his mother married again was Jackson Nikolay Dmitriev.
• Jack has a Russian dad and a half Polish half Russian mother. but most of his family members from his mothers side live in Poland or America.
• From a young age Jack witnessed all the abuse his father put his mother through. The abuse was emotional and physical.
•And because of that he promised himself that one day he will make sure his mother leaves his father and that he will make sure that his mother never ever will get in this type of relationship ever again.
•Although his biological father didn't abuse him that much as his mother. He did put pressure on Jack to be perfect from a very young age unless he wants to be a burden to his whole families name.
•And Jack feared that because his family made one of the most powerfull people in Russia from secret agents to big company CEO's who almost influenced whole of Russia and his father was the most succesfull one of them . And his family was known to look down upon their own family members but not his father they respected him and maybe even feared him but they dind't fear Jack. And because of that they could look down upon him and if his father would find out that his own perfect young puppet is looked down upon? Who knows what he would do to his mother and Jack himself.
•That's why he started to study from a very young age wich led him to know Russian,Polish and English fluently and even a bit of Greek and Latin.
• He also learned to play the piano and violin.
•When Jack was around eight he witnessed as his father almost grabbed his mother by the hair to throw her head against the wall so he throwed himself infront of his father before he could touch his mother wich led to Jack's head getting smashed against the wall wich resulted in a pretty big head concussion but to his luck not fatal, so he healed from it.
•After this particuler event he tried very hard to convince his mother to leave his father even more then before and luckely he succeeded two years later.
•During this time his grandfather from his mother side died of a chest wall tumor this realy hurted Jack because his grandfather was the only healthy male figure in his life. And here his dream started to become a Thoratic surgeon.
•His mother met a man two years later who's name is Nick Adams. This relationship led to marriege and because of this Jack changed his name to Adams instead of Dmitriev.
•And because I like to at something sweet, I like to think that his mother and her new husband decided to have a child, wich led to a little boy to be born called Alexander, and Jack was very happy to be a brother and a 'teacher'for someone and with this the Adams family was complete and happy.
•And Jack could finally see his mother happy after all the years of abuse.
• This led to a very happy and peacefull life for Jack he even got himself a girlfriend in highschool, however this relationship didn't work out in his last year, because a third party came around in Jack's life. Although he didn't cheat he did become more closer with the new girl because she wanted to become a nurse one day and that interested him and both the new girl and Jack had alot in common. Wich ended in a break up with his girlfriend beacuse she thought he was cheating on her. Altough Jack told her he didn't cheat, they still broke up bacause they both thought that it was the best for them. After this Jack made sure to never ever make the same mistake again and get a third party somehow involved with his relationship. And because of that he cut of all the contact with the new girl and made sure to make a priority to only get close to one girl, a girl who he is in a relationship with or he wants to be in a relationship with. But this breakup really hit him hard wich let him to try and work on himslef. So he decided to focus on his future and health to get his mind off this event.
♤Demon transformation and pre events♤
•In his first year in college he met a girl called Jennifer Hackins in short 'Jenny'.
•Jack was always skeptical about Jenny even when he first met her.
•Jennifer showed interest in him. because she thought of Jack as a proper vessel for the demon that she and her friend group worshiped.
• Jack saw the intrest that Jenny showed him but he was still skeptical but he did end up giving her a chance.
• As Jenny was trying to become closer she realised that it was not working. So she started to stalk Jack in the hopes that he will get scared and give in but this didn't work, it only confirmed his suspicion of her so he gave her in to the police and lucky for him the police did cooperate. And this scared Jenny and her friend group off. So she confinced her friend group to let Jack go as a vessel. Beacuse he was too hard to deal with. But they stiil kept him as an 'option'.
• After this Jack noticed that Jenny and her friend group where avoiding him wich made him happy.
•This went on for over a year. On an unfortunate night when Jack stambeld upon them on his night run and their ritual night, that was at orihinally meant for 'worship' ritueals for their demon 'god' who's name was unknown but is ranked like one of the more powerfull demons.
But when they saw Jack they made up their mind to take him as a vessel. And before Jack could proces everything his world went black and he woke up alone, unclothed and tied up in a cave. He tried to get himslef untied but before it worked the group came back with a man as the leader and Jenny next to him and four other people behind them.
• That's where the long turterous night started for Jack with the cult hoping and praying that Jack will stay alive through all the rituels.
• From being mentally tortured to having boiling hot tar slide down his body and getting forced to drink human blood, consume human flesh, organs and watch the disgusting rituals being performed.
• But Jack was and is a very strong individual mentaly and physicly. So he will not give in that easy, it will take a lot to break him. But a person can only take so much...
As time went by Jack was slipping in and out of consciousness as his heart beat was slowing down with the only thing keeping him from giving in was praying and hoping for a miracle to happen to him.
•At the last ritual Jenny plugged out Jack's eyes. To pour hot boiling tar in his eyes. To finsish of all the rituals and get the reward what they thought will grand them a place in the 'paradise'.
•With the last ritual the demon possesd him but lucky for Jack he still was aware of everything so he still had his human mind or how I like to call it 'being sane'. so the ritual went wrong because the victim needed to be alive not conscious of their surroundings and they also needed them to go 'insane'. But the 'real' reason of Jack still having his human mind and being partly sane was because the demon was suprised that Jack managed to stay conscious and alive and sane all this time. So he respects him for it and that's why he granted Jack to still be able to turn into his human form and have his human mind for some time....
•But Jack was furious so he went feral on all the cult memebers. The only two people who survived just to suffer a fate worse then death was Jennifer Hackins and Nick Jasons who was the leader of the cult.
•Jack found a cabin in the woods where he tortured them for years. The cabin is now one of is hide outs.
•Later he found out that Nick and Jennifer had a thing so he used that knowledge to his advantage.
• At one point Jack got in contact with traficers on the Black Market. So that they would hurt Jenny in front of Nick, the traficers where orderd to tell everything they did to Jenny to Jack and they did that for the most part. They did however not tell Jack about the r*pe that took place in the cabin this made Jack furious. Beacause A: It was against his orders and B: R*pe is something that raelly disgust him, so Jack killed all the traficers in front of Jennifer and Nick and forced them to eat the trafficers flesh, organs and drink their blood. Jack also humilated them both.
•One time he let them go just to chase them down as a feral animal for his own twisted pleasures. At last he made his own 'Russian sleep experiment' he did that experiment till they died. All of this torture took a total of 3 years. Till This day he is still disgusted by his actions that he made out of hatred and anger but he doesn't regret it, because it gave him some sort of peace and closure for his past.

Russian Names
Russian names are honestly so interesting, and Russian naming culture is very different from the rest of the world. So here we are today to break it down:
The Full Name
Russian names are styled similarly to American names, in the sense that they both have a first-middle-last structure. Russian names are styled as: Given Name – Patronymic – Family Name. Now, first let’s break down each of these names before getting into how to call one another.
 Given Name
Common Male Names - Mikhail, Dmitri, Daniil, Kiriil, Andrei, Egor, Nikita, Alexei, Ilya, Roman, Yaroslav, Vladimir, Sergei, Nikolai, Petyr, Ivan
Common Female Names - Alexandra, Alina, Alisa, Alyona, Anastasia, Anna, Vera, Veronika, Viktoria, Daria, Evgenia, Ekaterina, Elizaveta, Elena, Inna, Ksenia, Lidia, Lyubov, Maria, Maya, Olga, Polina, Sofia, Svetlana, Tatiana, Yulia
Given names are usually reduced to diminutives. Diminutives are shorter “nicknames” given affectionately. Common ones include: Anastasia --> Nastya, Maria --> Masha, Alexander/dra --> Sasha, Dmitri --> Dima. Can’t see much of a pattern? Well that’s because there kind of isn’t one. A loosely applied rule says to add -sha to the first syllable of a name (Ma[ria] --> Masha, Da[ria] --> Dasha, Mi[khail] --> Misha, Pa[vel] --> Pasha). Some add -a or -ya to a certain part of the name (Vic[toria] --> Vika, Pyot[r]--> Petya). Some names don’t even have diminutives (Vera, Nikita, Maxim). Usually there is a chain of names given to a certain given name, here is an example:
Alexander - Sasha - Sashura - Shura
Here is a list of common names and their diminutives:
- Alexander/Alexandra - Sasha
- Anastasia - Nastasia, Nastya
- Anna - Anya
- Veronika - Nika
- Viktoria - Vika
- Daria - Dasha
- Dmitri - Dima
- Evgenia/Evgeni - Zhenya
- Ekaterina - Katya
- Elizaveta - Liza
- Elena - Lena, Lenok
- Ksenia - Ksusha
- Maria - Masha
- Mikhail - Misha
- Petyr - Petya
- Polina - Polya
- Sofia - Sonya
There are even more affectionate names, given usually by friends or loved ones. For example, Maria could become Mashenka and Nikolai becomes Nikolushka or Nikolenka. These forms are generally derived by adding one of these varrious suffixes - -ochk-, -echk-, -onyk-, -enyk-, -ushk-, -yushk-, -yush-, -yash-, -ul-, -ush-, -un-, -us-, -k-, -ik (etc) - to the given name of diminutive.
Other Notes: Alena and Alyona can be the same name (see: Alena Kostornaia/Alyona Kostornaya), if Alena is spelled Alëna in the cryllic. Alena is the way of spelling in English, but the correct pronunciation is A-li-o-na. I and Y can sometimes be interchangeable. For example, Sonya can also be spelled as Sonia.
Patronymic
Patronymics are sort of like the “middle names” used in America, however, they are derived from the father’s given name. For example in these names – Avdotia Romanovna, Rodion Romanovich - the second name (Romanovna, Romanovich) is the patronymic. Siblings would share a patronymic (with variations between male and female) as they have the same father.
Females add -ovna, -evna or -ichna to their father’s given name and males add -ovich, -evich or -ich to their father’s given name. For the examples shown above, the father’s name is Roman, and the female (Avdotia) adds -ovna making Romanovna, and the male (Rodion) adds -ovich making Romanovich. For a name like Dmitri, the female would be Dmitrievna, and the male would be Dmitrievich. For masculine names ending in a vowel, such as Ilya or Foma, when they are used as a base for patronymic, the corresponding endings are -ich (for men) and -inichna (for women). Patronymics can be further shortened like Andreich instead of Andreevich or Kirilych instead of Kiriilovich. These are typically seen in informal speech.
If the father’s name is not known, then the mother can create the patronymic she wishes to give.
Family Name
Common suffixes for Russian names are -ov, -yev, -sky, and -ko, -uk, -ych, -in.
Family names can differ by gender. Females usually add -a to their family name (Karenin à Karenina, Pavlov à Pavlova) or -aya (Oblonsky à Oblonskaya, Shcherbatsky à Shcherbatskaya). Only family names with neutral grammatical gender stay the same (such as -ko, Elizaveta Shilenko). Once married, females usually adopt the family name of their husband. (Anna Oblonskaya becomes Anna Karenina once marrying Karenin).
Common last names in Russia are: Ivanov, Smirnov, Kuznetsov, Popov, Vasiliev, Petrov, Dmitriev, Kuzmin, Alexandrov. As seen, commonly, last names in Russian end in -ov.
Forms of Address
The three-name format is typically only used in legal documents. If the three-name is spoken aloud, typically the family name comes first (Raskolnikov Rodion Romanovich).
The formal format is the Given Name - Patronymic format. This is used by students to teachers and is the official way to communicate. Using this form may convey the speaker’s respect for the recipient. Teachers may call their students by just their family name, though otherwise, it is used very rarely.
In informal communication, typically only the first name, and/or diminutive is used. In rural areas, people may use just the patronymic amongst themselves.
Notes: In competition and when referring to them in other parts of the world, typically we only acknowledge the given name and family name. (Alina Zagitova, no care for the patronymic [Ilnazovna]).

BASIC INFORMATION:
NAME: Ivanna Dmitrieva.   AGE: 31. PLACE OF BIRTH: Kolosovka, Russia. AFFILIATION: The Russian Mob. OCCUPATION: Assassin. FACE CLAIM: Laura Vandervoort. AVAILABILITY: TAKEN.
BIOGRAPHY:
(Warning: Mentions of domestic, and child abuse, as well as animal death.)
A child born to the mercy of the most careless of handlers, Ivanna Dmitrieva’s path was perhaps never meant for grandeur. Born in a small desolate village in the heart of Siberia, to a home that was falling apart at the seams, she was simply another mouth to feed in a family that had never known anything but suffering. By all accounts unwanted by her overworked and broken mother, and the result of her husband’s continued cruelty and violence. Much of Ivanna’s childhood was spent in trying to find someplace she was wanted and needed, all whilst fighting for survival against her father like the rest of her siblings.
Nikolay Dmitriev was a man down on his luck from the start, lacking any sort of spine or strength of will to push harder against the circumstances he’d inherited from his father before him. His own deficiencies were to blame for what little life had to offer him, and instead of fighting harder, the man became content to drown out his inhibitions in spirits, allowing it to become a crutch and then a true sickness. A degenerate coward always, but a true nightmare when inebriated prone to taking out the frustration of his shortcomings on his wife and children.
The Dmitriev family was sinking long before Ivanna came into the picture, and it was her eldest brother who’d had to shoulder the burden of responsibility their father could not. Not only working himself tirelessly to hunt and provide for his family but also taking the brunt of Nikolay’s rage and aggression. And despite all this, Ivanna still fondly remembers her brother to be kind. A gentle soul in the body of a brute. He was the only one who ever seemed to see her, to make time for her, to afford her the small pleasures a child should enjoy at such a young age. She was but a child of three or four when her brother first began to teach her the lessons she’d need for her survival. Seven years younger than the brother who came before her Ivanna was often left home alone during the day with no one but her slumbering father and Vlad’s hunting dogs for company. And so Vladimir made sure to teach her how to be quiet, how to stay out of reach of their father, how to stay safe.
Though her luck ran out one afternoon when her father awoke earlier than the norm she’d come to expect. Groggily he’d come outside at the sound of the noise she and the dogs were producing, and when one of the dogs grew aggressive due to rightfully perceiving him as a threat and coming in between her and the brute, Nikolay struck him down with an ax. When he reared on Ivanna grabbing her arm so violently it nearly dislodged from her shoulder, Vladimir came around back, having come home early. The sight of his beloved pup struck down and the man violently dragging along the little girl sent Vladimir into a fit of rage. He told her to go and hide as he confronted the man. Ivanna did just that, however she didn’t go inside the house but another hiding spot of hers from where she had a clear view of the scene. Everyone came to know the extreme end Vladimir served to his tyrant of a father, what no one not even Vlad knew was Ivanna had been witness to the entire gruesome deed. It’s a memory that has stayed with her and has directly influenced her association with violence throughout her life.
Violence and feelings of helplessness were all that plagued the young girl’s mind for a long while following her brother’s imprisonment. In the years she was meant to play and adventure as kids do she spent all her time at home looking after her younger brother. It was a responsibility initially belonging to her sister Anya, though not two years after Vlad was sent away the older girl left home to marry the boy she’d been so wrapped up in. It wasn’t lost on any of them what she wanted most of all was an escape from the misery that they’d all grown up in. Though Ivanna resented her at times for that choice, with time she would come to understand that decision even if it was one Ivanna herself would never have made. In her early teens, she already began taking up work waitressing to further support her family, with Maxim shouldering the brunt of the load as their brother Ivan began to spiral and fall into the worst of crowds and habits. All she wanted was to lessen the stress of her mother, and to make Vlad proud, proving she hadn’t forgotten him or his life lessons.
For a girl who grew up in such troubling circumstances, it became very important to take some control back, to find a way to defend herself and her family when needed. Like her brother who sacrificed his prime for her, like her mother who for years took the brunt of abuse from her father for them all. Which meant not only honing her acute intelligence but also learning to defend herself, because even at the age of fourteen she knew all too well the looks and leers she needed to stay far away from, of the reality of so many pretty young girls like herself coming from nothing and where they end up.
Life went on as-is for a time, Maxim was able to slowly bring brighter days to their table. Vlad would be coming home soon and Ivan had finally beat his vices and enlisted in the Russian Armed Forces to bring some much-needed discipline to his life. Anya was seemingly happy in her marriage, and expecting her second child. Sweet young Nikolai was the best of them having been small enough to have no memory of their father at all, and thus live without the traumas that plagued the rest of them. Fate, however, had something else entirely in store for them, a tragedy that would leave them splintered once more. One day only a few hours into her evening shift at work her younger brother came running to get her because their mother was hurt. Rushing to the hospital only to find her a bloody broken mess, she’d been beaten to a pulp, her face so swollen and bruised it was barely recognizable. It was an act committed by one of the cities known mafia leaders, a man who just didn’t know how to take no for answer.
Ivanna was lit with rage and anger, once again helpless to do anything. She made a promise to herself at that moment, that one day that feeling would be a long-forgotten memory and she’d make herself more than capable of protecting those she loves.
It wasn’t long after this incident that her brother was released from prison and in the wake of all that had happened Ivanna could only stand before him with her head hanging low as she delivered the news with the profound belief that it would never have happened if he had been with them, which made her ultimately feel she’d let him down entirely. When the now hardened man went into a fit of controlled rage with nothing but vengeance on his mind as he sought the man responsible, she wanted nothing more than to go with him, wanting to be a part of violence he would no doubt inflict on the man responsible for their mother’s death. But she also could not disobey him, when he said no. Many months later his search landed him in Launceston and not long after the job was done, she waited for him to send news of his return but that did not happen. In Launceston, Vladimir seemed to have found renewed purpose. A year later after taking care of business, she joined him there, ready to continue learning from the brother she’s always held in such revery.
Alongside training with Vladimir in various areas, Ivanna went on to enroll in college stateside as well. Majoring in Comparative Literature and Latin, more headstrong than ever, she was young, more than capable, had an acute intelligence much like her brother, but like many of the men in her family, no matter how controlled, an undeniable draw to violence. She gave her brother no complaints when it came to her training, working alongside him in his various jobs when he allowed it though her interactions with the mob directly were limited early on. Though it was only a matter of time before she found herself in audience with Aleksandr Vorshevsky himself, her experience in meeting him not unlike her brothers where it almost felt like the man was a hand god. Slowly she became inducted in the ranks making friends with other mob members and associates, most prominently Katarina Vorshevsky, Nina Kurylenko, Katya Makarova, and Yuri Yuditsky. It was alongside Yuri she developed her fascination with weaponry, spending nearly all her free time down in his vault customizing guns, taking them apart altering them, adapting their make-up until she knew each weapon she carried like the back of her hand.
Though no bond could replace that which she had with her family. Vladimir was the one person in the world Ivanna had blind faith in, she’d never known anyone as compassionate or strong as him, in her eyes, her big brother could do no wrong. The kind of respect he garnered, the way he carried himself was all she someday hoped to be as well. So when that pillar of strength was taken from her, the woman truly splintered and was set on a path to becoming the ruthless and cunning assassin she is today. After Vladimir’s death, Ivanna retreated into herself she’d never been the most talkative person to begin with, but afterward, for a time, she was nearly mechanical after finding that to be the only way to temper her rage and keep that desire to set all of Valence ablaze at bay. The reign of death that followed in Valence satiated her to some extent but she could never entirely get over the fact the knowledge that the man who pulled the trigger still lived.
And that was her state of mind when the prodigal son arrive in Launceston, Konstantin Vorshevsky. As Konstantin began to imbed himself into a position of leadership in Launceston and their interactions became more frequent, he recognized her potential and also her place of vulnerability that was her festering anger and frustration over her brother’s death. He knew all the right words, his disposition so charming and magnanimous she found herself entranced by all he could offer her. It wasn’t long after that she found herself in a new position within the Bravta, Konstantin all but had to nudge her in the right direction, at his side. His promises meant everything, and she proved herself more than capable of his ‘expectations’ of her. It was as if he’d tapped into that girl who’d made a promise to herself that one day she would no longer be weak, her evolution was her finding a way to keep that promise to herself.
Ivanna Dmitrieva has now been an assassin for the Russian mob for a little under four years. In that time she’s racked up a formidable body count, though with relative anonymity in the beginning. She hadn’t ever had a clear job title in her many years in the organization, people just knew of the skills she brought to the table, most of her tasks more niche coming from Aleksandr and his right hand as discretion was always her strong suit. Though she’s never been one to openly claim her kills and the like, she doesn’t enjoy the luxury of anonymity as much these days in Launceston most of all since word tends to get around.
Stealth, discretion and near surgical precision is her strong suit. The work she did prior too, molding her modus operandi considerably, having been a bounty hunter she knows how to get in and out undetected, to adapt and blend in, even her major in college contributing to her repertoire with her proficiency in many languages not native to her. She’s also keen in often staging her kills to look like an accident. Less about the theatrics and more about getting the job done efficiently, Konstantin’s secret weapon. And of course, her most promising asset being that much like her brother, she is known to be loyal to a fault, as long as her morale isn’t at compromise.
SOCIAL CONNECTIONS:
RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Single. Antonio Ancelotti (ex-boyfriend, unplayable) FAMILY: Nikolay Dmitriev, Lidya Dmitrieva (parents, deceased), Vladimir, Ivan Dmitriev (brothers, deceased), Maxim, Nikolai Dmitriev (brothers), Vasily Fyodorov (nephew), Lily Mae Dmitrieva (niece, unplayable), Anya Vetrov (sister, unplayable), Andrei, Eduard Vetrov (nephews), Natalya Vetrova (niece, unplayable) CONNECTIONS:
Maksim Kurylenko: The Complication.  Despite not getting off on the best foot when they met years ago, Maksim and Ivanna developed a good working relationship over time stemming from their appreciation for each other’s competencies. A short while before Maksim made the move to London their relative friendship developed to something more. They never put any label on the relationship, though it was gradually progressing. All that came to halt when they came to a disagreement on how to handle a civilian who’d witnessed them in action. Ivanna was certain there were other ways of making her disappear and not talking, while Maksim didn’t want to take any chances. And though they decided not to take any drastic measures, he did so behind her back anyway. They fought, and she was very upset, not speaking to him for a bit. In this time he had to move to London. Leaving things up in the air.
Noa Halévy: Enemy. The moment they learned what faction the other belonged to was the moment they stopped liking each other. In another life, who knows, they could’ve been friends. In Launceston over the past few years, the two have a streak going with bodies piling up on both sides; one of the rare instances Ivanna’s directly involved herself in a personal rivalry.
