Can Nokia 9 "Thanos Snap" The Competition?
Nokia 9 PureView: What to Expect?
HMD Global is all set to launch it's highly anticipated Nokia 9 Smartphone at MWC 2019. Earlier it was rumoured that we might get to see Nokia 9 with its Penta camera at CES 2019 which was a dream that didn’t come true. The reasons behind the delay of Nokia 9 launch event aren’t known yet but we're guessing that Nokia might have changed their mind and we might get to see Nokia 9 with 5G support.
Another thing that may have caused HMD Global to delay the release date of Nokia 9 could be Android Q availability for Nokia 9. HMD Global might be pursuing Google to provide Android Q support to Nokia 9 out of the box. But hey, these are just some arbitrary guesses from a tech analyst.
The Five Camera Set up:
Let's stop daydreaming for a while and have a look at the all leaked specs of Nokia 9 which are pretty much confirmed to be present in the Smartphone. The first and the foremost thing is the Nokia 9’s 5 camera setup a.k.a Penta camera setup or as we like to call it “Pentateuch camera setup”. As of now, the exact specs of these 5 cameras aren't known but as per sources, Nokia has said that the five cameras will take five different photos and combine them into a single final photograph providing 10× more light than regular cameras. It could simply mean that Nokia with its flagship Nokia 9 Smartphone is all set to take low light photography to the next level. It could also mean a headache for the rest of the major brands such as Samsung, Apple and OnePlus as they'll need to step up their game in the camera department with their new Smartphone releases if Nokia's 5 camera setup delivers as promised.
Tumblr media
Nokia 9 Confirmed Specs So Far:
Right now, Nokia 9 is set to come with Android Pie out of the box along with promised updates for two years under Android now Project. Talking about its chipset, Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with Adreno 630 GPU is expected to be equipped in Nokia 9 but there are still chances that HMD Global might go with Snapdragon 855 instead. Also, 5G support for Nokia 9 hasn't been confirmed by any source so far and we're left to wonder whether 5G support will be there or not. However, we'll definitely get to see 5.99” inches PureView 4K AMOLED display, UD fingerprint sensor, 6GB or above RAM and 128 GB or above storage variants for buttery smooth performance. Now all we can do is hope for the best and wait for Nokia 9 to be officially unveiled and unboxed.

The Nokia 10 PureView is now tipped to be a 2021 flagship with a seriously premium display spec
Nokia has developed a habit of allegedly developing flagship phones and then canning them for nebulous reasons. Now, it may have a new one in the works, which may be aimed at a launch in 2021. This 10 PureView has come up in rumors before, albeit without many additional details.
Now, NokiaPowerUser says it has heard from its sources that the phone is set to rock the Snapdragon 875 SoC. This would probably make it a Nokia flagship in 2021. Then again, it is also slated not to launch until the second half of the year, by which time slightly newer chipsets and devices based on them might have emerged.
However, none of them is likely to make another claim the blog is making for the 10 PureView, which is that it will have a display made with "sapphire glass". OEMs have not offered this spec since the HTC U Ultra special edition in 2017. (Not that it did that company a lot of good in the end.)
NokiaPowerUser also claims the phone will have the "multi-lens" Zeiss-branded camera system for which its series is known. However, it does not know how much the phone might cost on its putative launch. In addition, the manufacturer itself is yet to acknowledge this new leak.

Top 10 trending phones of week 21
In week 21 some substantial rumors emerged that allowed us to add two upcoming phones to the database and it appears you guys have been paying close attention.
The vivo X50 took the top, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ got to third place even though neither phone is official yet. Inbetween we have the Galaxy A51, which shapes up to be a worthy successor of the A50 that spent almost a year in our top 10.
A quintet of Xiaomi phones follow – the Redmi Note 9S regained fourth as the Poco F2 Pro slid to fifth. The Redmi Notes 8 Pro, 10 and 8 take the next three positions in that order.
Apple iPhone SE (2020) is still ninth as the Galaxy S8 mounts yet another unlikely comeback. The 2017 flagship just refuses to go away.
We wave goodbye to last week’s leader – the Galaxy A Quantum, and two rumored phones from last week – the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Nokia 9.3 PureView. We have certainly not seen the last of those last two, though.

Overview of cameras in the multi-camera smartphones
Tumblr media
For several years, smartphones have been steadily leading in popularity in the consumer electronics segment. Enormous competition encourages companies to constantly expand the functionality of their models. For example, companies already offer Projector Mobile Phones with a projector function, including Blackview MAX 1 Projector Mobile Phone.
Tumblr media
But as before, the choice of optimal smartphone depends on its price, brand and specs, including OS, smartphone performance, Smartphone Storage, screen, etc.
Smartphone cameras
Of course, the camera also belongs to the most important specs of a modern smartphone. In recent years, almost all leading companies have been actively improving the cameras of their models, including by increasing the number of modules. As a result, today the market offers smartphones with different numbers of lenses in different combinations. Many modern phones, including budget models, already use two modules, but many flagships have 3 or even 4 cameras. For example, in 2018 Samsung introduced the Galaxy A9 (2018) with Main Camera and three additional, including Ultra-Wide, Telefoto (optical zoom), and Depth cameras.
Tumblr media
But at the end of February at the MWC-2019 in Barcelona, HMD Global already introduced the Nokia 9 PureView with five cameras.
Tumblr media
Nokia 9 uses Zeiss optics, provides a 12-MP picture, saves the image in RAW format, providing its editing on a smartphone. It has two color 12-MP, f / 1.82 cameras and three black and white with similar parameters. In addition, the smartphone uses a 20-MP front camera. Finally, Sony announced a model with 8 cameras, including 20-MP f/2.4, 48-MP f/1.2 and f/2, 16-MP f/2.4, 8-MP f/2.4, 12-MP f/1.2 and f/2.4, and 0.5-MP ToF lenses on the rear panel.
Tumblr media
In addition, it has front 10-MP and 0.3-MP ToF cameras providing Portrait Mode.
Tumblr media
Basic cameras
Functionally, smartphones with dual cameras can be divided into several types. The second camera can be used as a Depth or Ultra-Wide, for zooming or night shooting (monochrome camera). Additionally, such models can collect data for portraiture or other effects, eliminating the need for a dedicated sensor. Thus, dual cameras provide greater flexibility, providing improved quality for different shooting conditions. For example, Telephoto lens provides background blur and optical zoom without loss of quality. In 2016, Apple first used it in the iPhone 7 Plus. The experiment was successful and today many companies use it. Until 2019, their optical magnification did not exceed 2x or 3x. But today the Huawei P30 Pro, Oppo Reno and Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 already support 5x.
Tumblr media
A wide-angle camera provides 120 degrees, capturing more objects in the frame. In 2016, LG first introduced the flagship with such a lens. At the end of 2018, Samsung and Huawei began to install a similar module in some expensive models. Today, the Galaxy S10 uses an ultra-wide 123 degree lens.
Tumblr media
The black and white camera works in tandem with the main module and provides improved light capture in low light conditions. In 2018, Sony installed such a camera in the Xperia XZ2 Premium. In the 2018 Oppo RX17 Pro and Honor View 20 was first used the 3D ToF (Time of Flight) stereo camera. The 3D sensor provides scanning of objects to form a 3D image.
The number of cameras in the modern smartphone
Of course, adding a third camera further expanded the functionality. As known, Huawei P20 Pro was the first such model. It has a 40-megapixel main module, a 8-MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom, and a 20-megapixel monochromatic camera. The combination of such optics and effective software provided excellent zoom and high quality even in low light conditions.
Tumblr media
Нuawei has previously already used hybrid technology with a monochrome camera to improve images in low light and to increase digital zoom. But the combination of a 3x telephoto lens and a 40-megapixel high-resolution matrix in the P20 Pro ensured high quality even for 5x zoom. The LG V40 also uses three cameras, including a 12-MP main camera, a 12-MP lens with 2x zoom, and a 16-MP wide-angle camera. This combination provides excellent quality for almost any shooting condition.
Tumblr media
However, Samsung took the next step by adding a fourth module. Its Galaxy A9 (2018) uses main, telephoto, wide-angle and 5-megapixel Depth modules. Of course, such a decision may seem controversial because the wide-angle and zoom cameras provide information about the frame depth. For example, the Live Focus feature in Galaxy Note 8, 9, and S9 Plus uses telephoto camera data. But the addition of a special sensor exclusively for frame depth increases the detail, improving the image quality in portrait mode and creating a bokeh effect.
Tumblr media
For this purpose, other companies often use a monochrome camera instead of the Depth module.
Dimensions
Unlike the large cases of traditional digital SLR cameras, smartphones have a very limited internal volume. Its slim body should include a screen, chipset, battery and other components. Therefore, companies use very compact matrices for smartphone cameras. As a result, they capture significantly less luminous flux compared to the much larger matrices of full-size cameras. Today, developers use sophisticated image creation algorithms, including Image Averaging, etc. In general, adding new modules requires reducing the sensor size of each camera, reducing the size of other components, or changing the phone design. But the first method radically reduces the image quality, and the second method degrades other specs of the device. Thus, a design change remains the only acceptable way. Perhaps new models with a large number of cameras will be thicker or will have a protrusion near the lenses. In addition, this trend has another aspect. A similar situation was already in the photo industry segment. A few years ago, Light introduced a 52-megapixel Light L16 with 16 cameras.
Tumblr media
The focal length of their lenses varies from 28 to 150 mm. Theoretically, it should provide high-quality zoom with a resolution of up to 52 MP. Unfortunately, the low speed of creating a picture, the need to use the Light Lumen app for most settings, and the huge variation in frame quality have radically limited its popularity. Therefore, adding cameras without high-performance software can create many additional problems.
Conclusion
Fierce competition encourages companies to actively expand the functionality of smartphones by increasing the number of cameras and improving their collaboration algorithms. Of course, this aspect affects the choice of the optimal model. Probably, at some stage, factors of price, device size and control complexity will limit this trend. But modern models already offer from two cameras in the mid-budget segment to an unprecedented 8 cameras in the new Sony smartphone. This video illustrates the effectiveness of dual camera operation in the Xperia XZ2 Premium. Read the full article

Samsung Galaxy S11, Galaxy Fold Successor Said to Feature 108-Megapixel Camera, 5x Zoom Support
Tumblr media
Samsung’s response to Apple’s much-improved iPhone 11 cameras is going to be a giant photographic arsenal strapped to the back of its 2020 flagship phones. The Korean company is preparing the biggest overhaul to the cameras on its flagship phones for next year, according to people familiar with the company’s plans. Its upcoming Galaxy S11 will sport a 108-megapixel sensor for the main camera — versus the iPhone 11’s 12 — flanked by three more on the back of the device including an ultrawide-angle lens and 5x optical zoom, they said.
The marquee device will also adopt a time-of-flight sensor for depth detection similar to one already in the Galaxy Note 10+, a feature that can aid portrait photos and augmented-reality applications, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing specifications that haven’t been made public.
Samsung will also extend the high-resolution sensor and 5x zoom camera to the Galaxy Fold clamshell device — which is expected to be publicly unveiled around the time of the Galaxy S11’s launch in February, the people said. The raft of new features signal Samsung’s renewed commitment to mobile photography after years of minimal innovation, as well as an attempt to catch Apple in the camera stakes.
The deluge on the camera front joins the introduction of foldable devices and fifth-generation wireless connectivity as core pillars of Samsung’s hardware strategy, features Apple won’t be able to match until its next iPhone refresh in September. A Samsung Electronics representative declined to comment.
Now that closest rival Huawei Technologies Co. is struggling in Europe thanks to U.S. sanctions, Samsung can consolidate its lead by doing what it’s always done: overwhelming consumers with specs.
Affiliate Samsung Electro-Mechanics developed the 5x zoom module and started production earlier this year. Similar technology has figured in devices from Chinese competitors Huawei and Oppo. Both rivals licensed their zoom tech from Corephotonics, an Israeli company Samsung acquired early in 2019.
Heading into 2020, as multi-camera and multi-lens arrays become the norm on smartphones, Samsung stands to benefit from owning a pioneer in this developing field. Camera specs, in particular, feature heavily in consumer-buying decisions in developing markets such as India, Counterpoint Research data has shown.

Best Android Phones in 2019, will you like to purchase?
After a sluggish few years in the Android world, 2019 has been a smash-hit for smartphone fans. We’ve already seen a few interesting phones with foldable designs, punch-hole displays, and as many as six cameras. These include the Samsung Galaxy S10, OnePlus 7 Pro, Huawei P30 Pro, Nokia 9 PureView, and many more.  But the year is still far from over. If you want to know more about the handsets you can look forward to, check out our list of the best upcoming Android phones arriving in 2019.
Best Android Phones in 2019
Pocophone F2  LG G8X  Google Pixel 4 series Huawei Mate 30 Pro  Motorola Razr foldable phone  Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 OnePlus 7T
1. Pocophone F2
Tumblr media
Xiaomi made headlines last year with the announcement of the Pocophone F1. The reason why was that the phone offered fantastic value for money. Starting at just 330 euros (~$370), it featured the Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM, a massive battery, and a dual-camera setup at the back.  This year, we expect the company to release its successor — the “Pocophone F2.” Nothing about the phone has been made official yet (including the name), but we expect it to follow the same recipe that made the F1 so successful. That means offering high-end specs at a price-point that undercuts the competition by a wide margin.  The Pocophone F2 is expected to offer a fantastic price-performance ratio.  We also hope the phone will come with NFC, a better design, and a few other things you can check out in our Pocophone F2 wishlist post.  The main problem is Xiaomi itself since it released the Redmi K20 Pro. The phone turned out to be the cheap Snapdragon 855 device Xiaomi fans have been waiting for. We don’t know where this leaves the Pocophone F2, but here’s hoping it’ll be a tweaked version for the global market.  Launch ETA: Sometime in 2019
LG G8X
Tumblr media
What we thought was the next LG V-series smartphone might turn out to be the rumored LG G8Xinstead.  Tipped to be a revamp of the lukewarm LG G8, the G8X reportedly features a dual rear camera setup, waterdrop notch, headphone jack, and an extra hardware button. Expected features include wireless charging, quad DAC audio, and some level of water and dust resistance.  We don’t see a rear or front fingerprint sensor, which means the phone might offer an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also not seen is the G8’s Z Camera (3D ToF camera). The sensor-enabled features like 3D face unlock, hand ID, and advanced gesture controls. That said, we don’t know if many people will notice or care — our own Eric Zeman though hand ID and gesture controls were “slow and unreliable” in his G8 review.  LG didn’t confirm or deny the G8X’s existence but hinted there are some truths to the leaks. LG will hold an event during IFA 2019 in Germany, so we should learn more then.  Launch date: September
3. Google Pixel 4 series
Tumblr media
The Google Pixel 4 series, which will likely consist of the Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL, is expected to make its debut in October. As we’re still months away from their release, Google hasn’t revealed much information. However, it has confirmed the phones exist and even showed off the rear design and camera after tweeting out an official picture in response to leaks and renders.  Google also confirmed two Pixel 4 features: Motion Sense and Face Unlock. Motion Sense uses the phone’s onboard Soli motion-sensing radar to enable hand gestures. That means you can wave your hand across the front of the Pixel 4 to skip songs, snooze alarms, and silence incoming calls, with additional functions arriving later.  Face Unlock also uses Soli, this time to turn on the Pixel 4’s face unlock sensors. Combined with software algorithms, the Pixel 4 supposedly opens as soon as you pick it up. Face Unlock works in almost any orientation and can also be used to authenticate payments and apps.  Thanks to a massive spec dump, we have a better idea of what to expect with the Pixel 4 on paper. Whereas the Pixel 4 reportedly features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, the Pixel 4 XL reportedly sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display. Both AMOLED displays will have a 90Hz refresh rate, according to leaks.  Other rumored specs include a 2,800mAh battery for the Pixel 4, a 3,700mAh battery for the Pixel 4 XL, 6GB of RAM, at least 64GB of storage, the Snapdragon 855 chipset, stereo speakers, and dual rear 12MP and 16MP cameras. Finally, the Pixel 4 phones are expected to run Android Q.  Launch ETA: October
Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Tumblr media
Huawei announced the P30 Pro in March, which means the next flagship from the company to expect is the Mate 30 Pro. Huawei confirmed the Mate 30 Pro will launch in September or October.  Leaks have been few and small, but what we’ve heard so far sounds very promising. According to rumors, the Mate 30 Pro will feature a 6.71-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will also reportedly feature the Kirin 985 processor, Balong 5000 modem for 5G connectivity, two 40MP rear cameras with a third telephoto sensor, a 4,200mAh battery, and fast wired and wireless charging.  We also expect improvements to the in-display fingerprint sensor and reverse wireless charging, along with Android Q underneath EMUI 10.  There’s a good chance the phone will feature a price bump relative to the Mate 20 Pro, with the base storage variant of the phone likely costing more than 1,000 euros (~$1,115). Then again, the company has also released a non-Pro Mate phone in recent years, so hopefully, that offers a similar core experience at a cheaper price.  Launch ETA: September or October
MotorolaRazrfoldable phone
Tumblr media
It looks like Motorola plans on bringing back the Razr series. The company is reportedly working on a foldable phone, which is expected to launch sometime this year. An exact date isn’t known, but the company said it plans to enter the market around the same time as its competitors. Samsung and Huawei have already revealed their foldable phones (although they aren’t available to buy), so Motorola can’t be far behind.  The Motorola Razr foldable phone (the name hasn’t been confirmed yet) reportedly folds vertically and features two displays. Based on a previous patent filing and firmware digging, it features a small display on the outside when closed and a larger display when opened.  Specs-wise rumors state that it will be a mid-range device sporting the Snapdragon 710 chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, and a 2,730mAh battery. It may cost as much as $1,500, but we won’t know for sure until it’s officially released. In the U.S., it may be Verizon-exclusive.  Launch ETA: Sometime in 2019
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4
Tumblr media
Xiaomi has generally launched an all-new Mi Mix device in the second half of the year, with the Mi Mix 3 launching in October 2018 and the Mi Mix 2 being unveiled in September 2017.  Aside from Xiaomi’s traditional timing, confirmation of the Mi Mix 4 reportedly came via a Weibo post from company executive Wang Teng. The now-deleted post apparently noted that the new Xiaomi phone will have a camera that’s better than Samsung’s 64MP sensor. Staying with the camera experience, a Xiaomi patent filing reveals the company is working on a periscope camera. Furthermore, the source of the news says it’s not out of the question for the tech to come to the Mi Mix series. In any event, we’re expecting the Snapdragon 855 chipset and a rather slick design (will it be a slider again?).  Launch ETA: Sometime in 2019
OnePlus 7T
Tumblr media
There haven’t been any significant rumors or leaks regarding a OnePlus 7T, but past years suggest that this could be the case. OnePlus has traditionally launched a T-series phone in the second half of the year, going all the way back to the OnePlus 3T in 2016.  This schedule might be in question after the company launched the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro back in May — bucking the trend of one phone for each half of the year. But what if the company does indeed go ahead with a T series entry in 2019?  It’s possible OnePlus will offer a OnePlus 7T and a OnePlus 7T Pro if it decides to issue new devices in the second half of the year. As for desired features, we’d love to see both variants offer camera quality on par with the likes of Samsung and Huawei, for starters.  A standard OnePlus 7T should also offer a more versatile rear camera setup, as opposed to simply adding a 5MP depth sensor. As for a OnePlus 7T Pro? We’d like to see a proper IP rating, wireless charging, and improved endurance.  Interestingly, OnePlus confirmed it’ll release a second 5G smartphone by the end of 2019. Even better, the phone will be available globally instead of in a few regions. Maybe one of the rumors 7T devices might be a global 5G phone.  Launch ETA: Sometime in late 2019
Android phones yet to be released
The handsets below have already been announced, but since they haven’t gone on sale yet we’re still including them on our list of the best upcoming Android phones.
8. Samsung Galaxy Fold
Tumblr media
Announced in February, the Galaxy Fold is Samsung’s first foldable device. It opens and closes like a book and features a 4.6-inch display on the outside and a 7.3-inch screen on the inside. The phone has six cameras on board, is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset, and is 5G ready. It was initially scheduled to go on sale on April 26, but Samsung pushed back the launch date due to problems with the phone’s display.  Thankfully, Samsung seemingly resolved those issues and will re-launch the Galaxy Fold in September. However, the phone’s prospects are a bit murkier this time around — T-Mobile confirmed it will not carry the Galaxy Fold, with an AT&T launch still up in the air.
Huawei Mate X
Tumblr media
Huawei’s rival to the Galaxy Fold made its debut at MWC 2019. It features a single display that’s wrapped around the outside of the device and measures 8-inches when in tablet mode. The 5G phone is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset, sports a rear triple-camera setup, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.  However, Huawei has yet to pin down a launch date. The company confirmed the Mate X will launch sometime between September and November, even though a report pegged a pre-November as “unlikely.” Whenever the phone launches, the 8GB/512GB version will retail for a staggering 2,299 euros (~$2,550). The phone isn’t expected to launch in the U.S. Read the full article

Top 20 phones of H1 of 2019
Tumblr media
With the first half of 2019 in the books it’s time to take a look back at what phones it brought us and which of them really got your attention.
Tumblr media
There’s an interesting stat if we look at the 20 phones in the list below. Nokia is represented by the Nokia 9 PureView, Oppo has the F11 Pro in the list, Huawei has the entire P30 lineup, Xiaomi has 5 phones and Samsung has an unprecedented 10 phones among the 20 most popular.
Think about that for a moment – every other interesting phone to come out in the past six months was made by Samsung. That’s impressive and it’s a clear indication that Samsung’s new and improved midrange lineup is quite popular.
Phones like the Galaxy A50, Galaxy S10+ and the Galaxy M20 are in the top five.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7, which came out in January, is the most popular phone in the first six months of 2019 but it’s closely followed by the Samsung Galaxy A50, which came two months later in March. Given an extra month or two the Galaxy A50 might have been the number 1 here.

Nokia 9 PureView
Tumblr media
Nokia 9 PureView Price in Nepal, full specifications and features
HMD Global announced a new phone from Nokia brand at its pre MWC event. This was none other than Nokia 9 PureView. So here we have the Nokia 9 PureView with the world's first Penta camera setup. Yes, finally phones with 5 cameras are now a reality. Today we are going to review Nokia 9 PureView Price in Nepal, full features and specifications. So, let's take a look now this is the new Nokia 9 PureView. The world's first phone to feature not 3, not 4, but 5 cameras. Well, there is a lot of cameras set up on this smartphone. However, I'm not even including the front camera. We can say the Nokia 9 PureView is an ambitious smartphone. Design and Display of Nokia 9 PureView let's take a look at the design first. So starting up with the design the Nokia 9 PureView has the bezels. But it's not a bad looking smartphone. In fact,  I love metal in glass design. Here Nokia 9 PureView has under display fingerprint sensor. Similarly, We came to know that Nokia 9 PureView has ip67 water and dust resistance. It also comes with USB type-C Port and single stereo speaker at the bottom. The sad part is there is no 3.5mm headphone Jack. There is a fact that Nokia 9 PureView does not feature a cutting edge bezel edge design. However, it is a premium looking smartphone. Nokia 9 Specs overview Similarly, moving on to the specs, the Nokia 9 PureView is the flagship product. It comes with a 5.9 inch 2k OLED display powered by 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage. The phone is powered by Qualcomm  Snapdragon 845 processor. Furthermore, It has  3320 mAh non-removable battery. The operating system is featured by stock Android (Android one) and  Android Pie i.e 9.0 out of the box. Camera setup and overview The camera setup in Nokia 9 PureView, here looks a little weird. But, it's great that there's no camera bump in it. Anyway, all the five cameras here are of 12-megapixel sensors. But, these all sensors are not the same. This camera setup features two 12 megapixel F 1.8 RGB lenses and Three 12 megapixel F 1.8 monochrome lenses. Here, all of these cameras take a picture at different exposures at the same time and the final result is a detailed photo which uses data from all of these five sensors. However, that's not all according to Nokia. The Nokia 9 PureView 5 cameras can capture photos with 10 times more light than your usual smartphone camera lens. So you're supposed to get better photos with higher dynamic range in this phone. Apart from this, there are also some interesting camera features. There are different Camera Modes available. like the usual great Nokia pro mode, the monochrome mode that has the ability to shoot photos in raw format and then edits it in the phone right away and more. Nokia 9 Camera Features So yeah, we can say the Nokia 9 PureView has a lot of camera features. However, there is one feature that I really like. So, whenever you take a photo from the Nokia 9, the phone processes the photo which honestly takes a long time. But, once it's processed the Google Photos camera app tells you if the photo has a depth map. Hence, you can edit the photo and add more depth to it or refocus it. Yeah, it's actually pretty cool features but I know what you're wondering about how is the image quality from these cameras?.  Well, we can say that by looking at Nokia 9 official samples things look pretty interesting. You can see the official Nokia 9 PureView camera samples from YouTube. That's pretty awesome. Similarly, let's talk about video recording on the Nokia 9 PureView. Actually, it supports 4k video recording at 30fps. And yeah, this is not too special. Because there's no 60fps video recording support. When it comes to selfies, the phone has a 20-megapixel selfie snapper. which should take decent selfies. But,  the Nokia 9  PureView is all about the five cameras on Rear.  so as the Nokia 9 PureView is not only a Good camera phone. Because, in the era of 2019, the Global wants a phone with other features as well. Hence, to get success in the smartphone market the phone should have a good display, design, and processor. Why just Snapdragon 845 in Nokia 9 PureView? You may be thinking why Snapdragon 845 in 2019? Well, as you probably know HMD Global has partnered with light and Qualcomm to make sure that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 yet supports the 5 cameras. Actually, this apparently took a lot of time and since the Snapdragon 855 has just arrived. Because it would even take a longer time to implement the five camera system on the latest processor. Hence,  the specs on the Nokia 9 PureView aren't outdated. But with the Nokia 9 PureView and HMD Global is focusing on people who want a powerful camera phone like the Lumia 10/20 or the Nokia 808 PureView. I mean it's clear that Nokia believes in the Nokia 9 capabilities and does it gets coveted to PureView branding? Nokia 9 PureView Price in Nepal The Nokia 9 PureView goes on sale in March with a price tag of 700 dollars. which is around 80,000 Nepalese rupees. and while the Nokia 9 PureView packs in a Great price tag. Wrapping Up However, there are a few doubts like is the camera as good as it seems?. Can it take on the pixel three? is it a great all-around smartphone? well, we'll find out all of that when we review the phone. So stay tuned for a Nokia 9 PureView full review. This week in Android: MWC 2019 wrap up
MWC 2019 has come to a close, and it was one of the most exciting trade shows in recent memory. We got a ton of new and notable technology, and we gave out our awards accordingly. We put our hands on the Huawei Mate X, Huawei’s first foldable phone. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the Mate X folds around the outside of the device. It’s a great design, though we can’t decide which is better. Naturally, Huawei is not impressed with Samsung’s efforts.
Beyond the Mate X, there was a tidal wave of phones coming out of MWC. We saw the Sony Xperia 1, the Nokia 9 Pureview, the LG G8, the LG V50, as well as a host of other connected devices. It was a 5G fest, and that’s just the news in Barcelona. Outside of Spain, we saw new hardware from Google, new hardware for Google Assistant, and a cool new device from HTC.
Here are your top stories from MWC 2019
2:15 – The best phones of MWC 2019
The awards are in! Here are our choices for favorite tech from MWC 2019 — phones and beyond.
4:10 – This smartphone has an 18,000mAh battery, looks dangerously heavy

15:45 – Huawei Mate X first look: 5G flexibility in a foldable form factor
The Huawei Mate X brings a lot to the table — a foldable design, 5G, and monster specs — but it’s going to cost a lot as well.
30:45 – Nokia 9 PureView hands-on: Five cameras aim for mobile magic
Nokia’s next PureView camera is here, and this time it has five sensors. We’ve got all the specifications for you and we’ll even tell you where to pick one up.
37:15 – LG G8 ThinQ hands-on: Bland on the outside, blistering on the inside
The LG G8 is LG’s latest flagship is a little boring on the outside, but it’s packing some great internals that will keep you going all day.
LG V50 ThinQ hands-on: A safe bet on 5G
Meanwhile, LG announced its first 5G phone, the LG V50, and we’ve got all the details you need to know, including the future of LG’s 5G phones.
45:30 – Xiaomi announces Mi Mix 3 5G: Snapdragon 855, 5G connectivity for 599 euros
Meanwhile, Xiaomi announced its first 5G phone with a familiar look and a surprising price tag.
51:15 – Sony Xperia 1, 10, and 10 Plus hands-on: embracing the super tall display
Sony is taking things to the tallest extreme with a large forehead and a 21:9 aspect ratio, just like in the movies!
Here are your some other stories from MWC 2019 and beyond Barcelona
2:30 – Nubia just announced a phone-smartwatch hybrid with a flexible screen and it looks insane
Nubia has a new smartphone/smartwatch hybrid with a flexible screen and a camera module. It’s pretty sci-fi looking, but is it for you?
19:30 – HTC 5G Hub is an ultra-powerful Android smart display and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot
Speaking of hybrids, HTC has a Google Home/tablet/hotspot hybrid device that will power your home network, or the rest of your devices on the go.
32:10 – Motorola RAZR foldable phone is still coming soon
We’re not done with foldable phones yet because Motorola confirmed that its foldable is coming soon.
39:55 – Physical Google Assistant buttons are coming to more phones along with new features
Google Assistant is getting a dedicated button on a lot more phones, and with that some added functionality.
47:40 – The Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite are probably coming soon
And of course, that’s not the only hardware we’ll be seeing sooner rather than later, we hope.
Meanwhile, here is a story we couldn’t cover on either podcast
Samsung Galaxy Fold is just for rich people, and Samsung knows it
Samsung seems to have a pretty good idea who will buy the Galaxy Fold, but we’re still trying to figure out who the Galaxy S10e is for.

Week 20 in review: Poco F2 Pro is here, huge iPhone 12 leak, Pixel 4a tested
Welcome to your week’s recap. The past seven days brought us the Poco F2 Pro, the triumphant return of no-nonsense flagship phone. Based on the Redmi K30 Pro, the Poco F2 Pro is the cheapest Snapdragon 865 phone in just about every market, starting at just $500/€500 for a 6/128GB model. Pre-orders are now live, shipments begin on May 19.
A huge iPhone 12 leak showed what Apple’s upcoming lineup will look like, thanks to renders based on CAD schematics. The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro will adopt an iPad Pro-like design with flat sides and squarish edges. The iPhone 12 Pro will come in three sizes – 5.4-inch (which will be about the size of a 4.7-inch iPhone SE 2020), a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch. All three will use OLED panel and at least the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch are expected to have faster 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate and smaller notches. The Pro iPhones will also get exclusive LiDAR and 3x telephoto cameras. The main camera is expected to stay 12MP, but Apple will increase the sensor size.
We also got a big Google Pixel 4a leak. The phone was benchmarked, its battery was testedtoo. The Snapdragon 730 posted expected scores in AnTuTu and Geekbench and didn’t have issues with modern games. Impressively the Pixel 4a’s 3,080mAh battery managed to achieve up to 7 hours of screen on time.
The next big story is about the Nokia 9.3 PureView. It’s expected to use its 108MP camera to record 8K video. The Nokia 9.3 PureView will also be capable of “ZEISS effects” and have Pro and Night mode shooting.
It turns out the OnePlus 8 Pro’s custom 5MP sensor designed for IR and color filter images can see under certain fabrics. Because the camera lacks an IR filter, it can, under specific conditions, see through specific fabrics.
Realme unveiled the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones. The Narzo 10 is based on the Realme 6i, while the Narzo 10A shares most of its specs with the triple-camera version of the Realme C3, but has a new flashy back.
Realme will start selling Narzo 10 in That White and That Green on May 18 at noon local time for INR11,999 ($158/€146). The Narzo 10A, available in So Blue or So White, will cost INR8,499 ($112/€104) and will arrive for its first sale on May 22.
The US has extended its restrictions on US companies to work with Huawei for another year. This means Huawei is unlikely to regain access to Google Mobile Services and by extension apps like the Play Store, YouTube, Gmail and Maps at least until May of 2021. Huawei is working tirelessly to expand its Huawei Mobile Services support and create a worthy alternative.
Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 768G, which is an overclocked variant of the popular Snapdragon 765G, sharing all of its internals, including the X52 5G modem.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A Quantum, which is a special version of the Galaxy A71 with a quantum cryptography aiming to offer unparalleled security. It’s a phone that is going to be selling in Samsung’s home market of South Korea.
We heard two reports last week about the Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20+’ displays. One stated that both would be 120Hz but the latter one claimed only the Galaxy Note20+ will have a 120Hz, while the Note20 will get a 60Hz panel. And there’s not going to be a Galaxy Note20 Ultra.
Check out the full list of our most read stories below and see you in seven days!.
