okayokay, so!! let me tell you all about them!

the rainmakers are all the mechanically engineered, perfectly trained killing machine monster spawn of Shockwave, who created them to be dangerous frontliners.

Due to shockwaves obvious lack of emotional intelligence (as well as the fact that despite all being several hundred years old, they very rarely get released from the lab for single battle testing) each and every one of them are AWFUL at interacting with other mecha. They are WEIRD, and awkward, and creepy, horrifically violent, and incredibly insular as a group. they are deeply codependant, to the point that being separated for long amounts of time brings them extreme distress.

Semi-Recently though, they were released for further combat testing at this outpost to become more used to working in a more legitimate consistent battle setting. In doing this, they were also separated from Sunstorm, who was held back do to the volatile nature of his gift. The three of them each have their own feelings about being separated, but all are uniquely emotionally unable to process this.

They also all LOVE slipstream, who absolutely despises ALL of them, because the second that they were told she was their superior officer, their coding held her in highest regard.

They ALSO love Ambulon, but more specifically they love PICKING on ambulon, because he just turns into a leg, which is hilarious to them, so they like to ambush him and bully him because he can't do anything to really stop them, and they haven't been taught that its not okay to do that because... they are decepticons.

I’ve been working on this for a while but now’s a good time to share

I have an AU where seekers decided to never pick sides during the war. In the beginning the previous Winglord was in contact with Megatron about joining the Decepticon fraction but upon hearing this the Autobot fraction(who were at the time being run by bastards) decided to bomb Vos to get rid of any uprising from them.

Upon the lack of help from the Decepticons, Starscream, now Winglord due to the untimely death of most(if not all) his siblings and creator, takes the seekers and practically disappears off the face of Cybertron. After the bombing the only remaining seekers are those who are slaves or servants, all of which eventually die to their poor conditions and care. It is believed that seekers died with Vos.

Unbeknownst to the rest of Cybertron, seekers evacuated the planet and went to the only place Starscream knew they could maybe never be found, Earth. After all at this time it was covered in ice, inhabitable by most means, but they could survive.

The bombing took many seekers; sires, creators, friends and family alike. The elite trine lost their parents save for Skywarp’s sire.

They built their home, hidden away and unknowing of the factions coming to Earth.

Novastorm would become the guardian of all the seekerlets, Slipstream and her trine became the teachers that were lost when a rain of fire came down on the flight academy. Ramjet and his trine would be in charge of their search for metals and energon. And the elite trine would do their best to keep the flock hidden and safe, to attempt order.

Hey, If you're okay with Request is there any chance we can see how novastorm and skywarp would react to Slipstream, sunstorm and zephyr? Like how would they feel about the fact that their auntie now?

I would like to think that during the skirmish with the dweller, Starscream had something similar to panic attack. Otherwise, I don’t understand why he stood there like a stuffed dummy.

Also this would be a good parallel with Hashtag.

Starscream - Unlike many seekers who are naturally reactive, Megatron beat the reaction out of him. Where one would normally snap if something were to be waved in their face, Starscream will flinch back but make no move to bite or posture.

Thundercracker - Because of his denser frame he often puts himself in harms way for his trine, overestimating himself at times. Unsurprisingly, he has the highest injury count.

Skywarp - Considering his processor is taken up by his warp drive and mapping software, he often finds himself in situations he doesn't remember getting into. In the beginning of the war this was a major problem.

Dirge - Dirge struggles with his standing in his trine, often uncomfortable by their constant fighting.

Thrust - Believing he should be trine leader, he has made a few attempts on Ramjet's life. he is unsure as to WHY he keeps it up or why Ramjet stays trined with him.

Ramjet - Ramjet loves his trine but the truth is he never wanted to be trine leader, he's not sure what to do when it comes to Thrust and Dirge. Though, he knows better than to allow Thrust that role.

Bitstream - His hubris often gets the better of him, resulting in many beat downs from other Decepticons.

Nacelle - Nacelle was originally a slave before the war, a servant under one of the senators. He got by due to his quiet and elusive nature.

Hotlink - He has a major soft spot for Nacelle and Bitstream, it's often used against him for others to get what they want from him.

Blackout - Blackout struggles with letting go, letting people go to be specifically.

Slipstream - No stranger to starvation.

Acidstorm - His own ability causes him to be in the medbay several times a day.

Novastorm - He keeps a holo of his conjunx and sparklings, it's a reminder of why he took in Sunstorm and Blazewake.

Ionstorm - Honestly there's nothing going on with him he's just a major glitch.

Sunstorm - Sometimes a thought crosses him, a small wonder if Primus gave him this power to punish him rather than gift him.

Cloudcover - He constantly blames himself for Sandstorm's death, can't stand looking at Blazewake.

Sandstorm - Before his death, he had promised he would take Blazewake through in electrical storm. Guess what didn't happen.

Avia - She was attached to Wheezingarrow like a leech, always exclaiming how she wanted to be a medical assistant like him. After his death she lost that dream.

Chemtrail - Having lost her creator, sire, and adoptive sire, she's a bit fussy over her trine. She's almost constantly fussing over Blast and Blazewake, scared to death she might loose them.

Blast - As the war continues, Blast slowly looses his confidence. Each bad injury sets him back and he has to regain himself.

Redwing - He often feels a hopeless, after what happened to Knockout, being unable to save his own trinemate, and witnessing Avia's tumble into grief, he's not sure if he could even be considered a medic at times.

Blazewake - After flying through his first electrical storm he buried himself in Chemtrail's arms and Chemtrail would keep it to herself that he cried.

Wheezingarrow - Wheezingarrow's last words were a joking request for Redwing to find a better medical assistant.
