#OC: Deejay Rocksocks

Decided to do the first five days of @the-artist-of-chaos’s “Bugsnax OC December” prompts just for fun. I included my Grumpsona, Deejay Rocksocks! I don’t really talk about them all that often here, but this was a great way to explore their character.

The prompts in order are “draw your OC”, “favorite snaks”, “least favorite snaks”, “hobbies”, and “favorite colors”.

I’m not sure if I’ll do the entire prompt list the whole month of December since I have art projects I want to get done, but this was a fun thing to do over the last few days :0)

Recently, I haven’t really been feeling my current Grumpsona. The concept for this one has been bouncing around in my head for a while and I gotta say, I really like them so far! Some things about them may change in the future but in the meantime Deejay is here to stay :0)

Claims of the voice variety for my OCs. I think I’ll try to post more about ‘em after Art Fight now that I feel more confident about it ^_^ but for now here’s some ideas of what my silly lil guys sound like.

“Where’s Murphus?” I literally forgot he existed until I was well done editing the video, but I’m too lazy to add him in. Plus, you’d be surprised to find out how hard it is to find good Irish voice claims for a character.

Wiggle and Deejay have an extremely petty vendetta against each other. It's not as petty as the rivalry between Gramble and Wambus, but it's up there.

Wiggle thinks Deejay is a do-nothing slacker who doesn't take their job seriously at all, and Deejay views Wiggle as a spoiled diva who didn't work at all to get where she is (that’s rich coming from them, but you get the idea).

The two have been industry rivals for a pretty long time, but the exhibition to Snaktooth only made things worse between the two. Whether or not they’ll put their differences aside is anyone’s guess.
