Mae Clayton returns to her hometown, sent away as protection while vampire gang warfare is taking place in L.A. A human surrounded entirely by vampires, Mae doesn’t fit into the human world and longs to be a vampire. In Santa Carla, she strikes up a respected friendship with the Lost Boys pack and grows close to a certain dark-haired vampire.

At odds with them, Tatum is ready to lash out and her anger leads to finding an intriguing young skin-walker but also makes her a worth prey for the demon who previously possessed Laddie.

Tatum storms out of her house, where she later has an encounter with a skin-walker named Leon.

2. Breaking the Silence

Tatum and Leon reveal more about their family dynamics, all the while babysitting Luke.

David knows there is danger coming to Santa Carla in a size that can threaten the very existence of everyone on land, so he lets everyone else in on his discovery overseas.

Laddie takes his classmate on her offer to check out her elusive club dedicated to a monster that supposedly only existed in fiction.

David has his first contact of with the nefarious sea creatures he warned everyone about, but he isn't alone for long.
