#OC: Ripley ‘Buddy’ Droolthrill

Remember how back in the day everybody and their grandma was making swap AUs? Haha! Yeah…

Decided to upload some concept designs for this AU I’m calling “Bugswap”. Creative name, I know. I’ll be doing it character by character, so I decided to start off with the first grumps you meet in-game!

If this garners enough interest, I’d be more than happy to post the rest of the designs for the AU! I’m also a-okay with answering any questions for those curious :0)

Decided to completely revamp my interpretation of The Journalist! There’s still a lot of kinks that need to be ironed out but at least I don’t totally hate looking at their design anymore, haha

Bugswap edit of these, uh… icons? I guess that’s the term for these. Some of these were barley edited, others I had to do a lot of Frankensteining to make ‘em work.

These were tricky, but pretty fun to make! I don’t know if I’ll get any use out of these, really. But hey! At least They’re There.

Day One of @kayvision-kp’s 30 Day Bugsnax Challenge; today’s prompt is “Meet the Journalist”!

Ripley is a GNN reporter whose real passion in life is making comics. However, since their boss (and aunt), Clumby, told them drawing cartoons for a living wouldn’t be a realistic career option, they settled for writing about paranormal activity around New Grump City — not that they’re complaining!

They’re tasked with helping bring back Snaxburg together after the mysterious disappearance of Lizbert Megafig, and oh, boy, do they have their work cut out for them…

Although I’m not sure I’ll stick it out the entire 30-days, this seems like a fun thing to do over the first month of summer! So, keep your eyes peeled ;0]
