Tokugawa Ieyasu was the only ruler out of the three unifiers who remained as he is after he obtained power. He never lose sight of the goal to unify Japan and managed to bring peace to the country.

That's why many Japanese like Hiroyuki Sanada admires Tokugawa Ieyasu the most. I've watched countless Japanese period dramas and I think Hiroyuki Sanada depict the best version of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

I’m very curious what’s the context for the top screenshot where he has the red kimono. It’s quite rare to see Nobunaga wandering about with his hair loose in dramas, outside of maybe the Honnouji scene.
