After watching the live action of One Piece, I might have become obsessed with Mihawk, woops! Never thought I’d enjoy One Piece yet here we are. The soundtrack for Mihawk reminded me of flamenco (can you believe each time his name is mentionned in the series there’s a light castanet sound in the background?) so I decided to make this illustration! I loved working on it. I tried incorporating some symbols related to his life in the tiles behind him, maybe you can spot some!

Made this Luffy for my dad!! A full tutorial of how to make him and how I designed the pattern will be up sometime this week. It'll have to be broken into two parts, however, because of how much footage there is of. A written pattern will eventually be sold but I'm thinking about changing the hair a bit first! What do y'all think about his hair?

Today on "If you desperately want something, do it yourself": Gear Five Shoes

They were certainly an experience to draw and I took a big risk using pretty pricey Levi's shoes. I did not trust myself to paint Luffy's face again so well (it's a miracle I managed the first time) so it's a mismatched pair but I quite like it. Done with posca pens. The quality of the pics is not really good but the purple is metallic so they look pretty cool and shiny. Just in time for a convention at the end of March

Modern au Luffy has zipper jorts/jeans combo but he permanently unzipped the bellow the knee part and sewed fluff onto the zipper teeth meanwhile Ace has a mysterious pair of Joots (jean boots) that he refuses to tell where he got (he made them himself)

He doesn't look very dinosaur-y though, because he's so fluffy 😂😂 He kind of looks like a teddy bear without ears.
