Several years ago I briefly worked in the warehouse of a nondescript extremely large e-commerce company. I had no other options for employment but desperately needed money. Turnover was like 150%. I worked from something like 7pm to 5am, my commute was 50 minutes each way and before I got paid I didn't even have the cash for enough gas to get home one night and had to bum $10 off of my kid sibling (this is all to give you an idea of my abysmal mental state while employed here.) You're not allowed to do anything besides your job, no music or anything and they track your movement on cameras so you can't even take a breather. The job is real monotonous, you get sent boxes of items of random sizes and you have to put the items into shelves of varying sizes and the shelves come to you, you don't walk to them. Because the company tracks the rate at which you put items on these shelves, many small items are desirable because you can put a lot of them in quickly. Everything about the place seems almost designed intentionally to break you mentally and turn you into a robot. So I'm about 6 or 7 hours into my shift, feeling on the verge of a mental collapse, and up comes a container with a bunch of small white boxes, bout half the size of a deck of cards. No labels. Great, I'm already happy about whatever these things are. So I go to scan them in, and it gives you the name of the item and a little picture. Sasuke Penis Costume. What? Sasuke Penis Costume. A picture of that red cloud robe from Naruto and one of the headbands with the metal plate on it. I'm thinking, there's no way. What is a penis costume? Am I hallucinating this? And there's so many of them, literally about a hundred, and I know I'm going to be spending at least an hour with Sasuke Penis Costume, there's so many and they're so small, I'm already excited about the potential efficiency of these, and then I see it's Sasuke Penis Costume? So the entire shift I'm like, trying to not put these things away too quick, because honestly I'm starting to build a kind of kinship with them. This is quite literally the most exciting thing to happen to me during my whole 2 week employment at the warehouse. I started to see Sasuke Penis Costume as a friend, some reminder of the outside world, a reminder of the humanity I was becoming so unfamiliar with, a reminder the world contained comedy, art, anime, and penis. I really couldn't tell you if I ended up putting all of them away, the last thing I remember is my desperate need to look these items up when I got home. I needed a link to send to my friends for when I told them this riveting story. I learned that the costume is called the Akatsuki cloak in my fervent search for the item, and wouldn't you know it, absolutely zero trace of these things exists online. Not on the e-commerce website, not on any specialized penis-costume websites (whose existence I was not privvy to prior to this incident) and no third-party retailer has these. Not even Google images will show me the hypothetical existence of Sasuke Penis Costume. Every few months I look it up, trying to find evidence that it can be bought, that any of this was ever real. My bond, my friendship, and dare I say even love for Sasuke Penis Costume feels as tangible as the boxes they came in, and yet the universe will give me no closure of their fate. Less and less frequently I search for them, each time becoming more and more discouraged that I will ever find them, but unlike their substance on this earth, one thing is inarguably certain. Sasuke Penis Costume exists to me, and it will live on firmly and resolutely within my memory and within my heart.

How Retail Packaging Can Benefit You Professionally?
How Retail Packaging Can Benefit You Professionally?
Have you ever thought that if the products that you are buying were never packed? What would they actually look like? What if they didn’t even have their original packaging on? Would you ever buy them? This all sounds actually weird for once. But, what you actually thought after being asked these questions, is the real reason why you want your product to be properly packed. The products that you…

Did you hear about joannes going bankrupt? Do you have any thoughts on that?
(Quick note so no one um actually's me: I'm aware that not all bankruptcy is Chapter 11. Thank you)
As a crafter, I'll say: oh dear, that's going to make shopping harder.
As a person who was aware of the insides of how that company was running, I'm going to say, "about fucking time."
See, here's what was happening with Joann. Problem #1 was that they stopped taking the "you have to spend money to make money," mentality and applying it to labor. A store is not about the products or the customers. The life of a store, the thing that keeps it beating, is the employees who serve the customer and serve the corporate ownership.
When they first started notably cutting labor, the store did have a lot of driven, passionate people who were willing to pick up the slack. It's possible to cut the freight shift one night a week when you have daytime floor associates who can do the freight when there's no customers immediately needing help. You can expect store managers to clean and recover the store, because it's a task that keeps them free to disconnect from when a store needs a manager to be acting as a manager. You can expect any free employee to fill in at the register or cut counter to cover a break or a lunch or fill in during a high-customer time. The store had a lot of employees who didn't mind doing some multitasking, and didn't mind being completely busy from the start of the shift until the very end.
However, when these labor cuts proved to be an effective way to save the store money, the amount of multitasking, and the amount of expecting one shift to cover for cuts made to another shift, started going up. It was no longer cutting the freight shift one day a week. It was cutting the freight shift until it was ONLY one day a week.
And that's where they made the big mistake in labor load. Instead of, "serve the customers, and do these tasks when you have time," it became, "do the task, and serve the customers if they demand your attention." A store is not the customers; it's the people who work in the store. But one of the key players in a retail store's staffing is the employees for whom making the customers happy is their primary drive. The way that stores were staffed, people whose primary drive was to serve customers were not allowed to adequately do so to reach customer satisfaction.
We need to add to this that, in addition to demanding more from every employee, Joann corporate has several of their demands on employees to be automatically measured. Customer response surveys, ship-from-store fulfillment, buy online pickup in store response times, number of remnants that were rolled to be sold, all of that can be sent to corporate with a pass/fail number assigned to it. Other elements of the store, like how much freight from a box actually makes it onto the shelf on time, or if a wheelchair can navigate the store, are not measured. This means that the company prescribes which tasks will actually be done and which can be shoved in the back for later. With the work load that was being put on employees, corporate decided that the ONLY tasks that should get done are ones that have specific metrics tied to them.
Employees whose drive is to help customer, who are not permitted to help the customers asking for help, will quit and go to a place where customers actually come first. Employees who are okay with doing two people's jobs, but who are asked to do three jobs, will leave to a place where they only have to do one job. Employees who have worked for the company for 4 years and never received a raise despite being praised for excellent work will go to a job where they get paid more. And suddenly, the only people who are left are the people who aren't overworked, because they're the people who will only do one job no matter how much demanding corporate has for them.
The last two years that I was at Joann, there were tons of employees asking or begging for more hours. It was not that they couldn't hire people. It's that they wouldn't assign labor hours. Employees who would happily work 35-40 hours a week, but who are assigned three hours a week, will leave and find a job where they can get a consistent number of hours. When they made all floor managers part time, a lot of people who had been with the company for years left to get more hours or some health insurance.
But, despite all of this, corporate never said, "if we put more people on the floor, our customers will be happier, and will spend more money." They still continued to treat labor as an unnecessary expense that should be limited. Why put more people on the floor when you can just overwork the people who bothered to show up for work today?
So, weirdly enough, that business model was absolutely not working for them, and it's all come crashing down. Damn right, as it should be. Respect the people who work for you, and they'll work for you. Take away the things that they're there to do, and they'll go somewhere else. Simple math.
Also, in the last decade, the fact is that, "Joann has a lot of coupons, so I can save money!" changed in the eye of the public into, "Joann is overpriced unless you know how to play the coupon game."
So yeah. I'm not surprised, and I hope their restructuring does good things for the employees who work there. Hell knows they need it, because their current system just proved that it cannot survive in that state.

in the summer of this year, i (20) moved into an apartment with my partner (22) and our mutual friend (21, “Roommate”). we had all planned to move in together for two or three years prior, and it was finally happening. i was the one who secured the lease along with my partner, and our roommate moved in a month after us. the general agreement was that Roommate would get hired at my partner’s workplace, so all three of us can bear rent and utilities and whatnot.
instead, Roommate lived at our place for about three months, then suddenly left without giving us time to prepare. they told us a few days beforehand that they were contemplating leaving because they felt like a burden and an annoyance, and we were being unfair to them about their job situation. Partner and i reassured them that we rather they stay because we all planned to move out together for years now and we know Roommate hated living with their parents. plus, they were about to get a job, so they shouldnt leave. they left anyway. events of their time here listed below:
i pay their airplane ticket. $270. Roommate moves in. disaster already strikes. they had their parents mail all of their belongings to us rather than bringing suitcases on the plane. the shipping costs for their things are over $100 each per box (two), so Roommate is already in debt to their parents by the time they get here. the arrival of the boxes is inconvenient bc all three of us were away for the weekend, and when we came back, the delivery isnt at our door. Roommate essentially has no clothing because they didnt pack any extra clothes OR underwear in their one carry-on bag. Partner and i buy new underwear for them. two weeks later, the apartment front office tells us they have the boxes but they didnt pack any work clothes, so if they ever got a job, we also had to buy those!
when they moved in, they thought they had a guaranteed position at Partner’s workplace, and was waiting on my partner to help them with the work application. this took two, three weeks until i told them to just do the application by themself. they did, and the workplace never reached out back to them. so no job there. i got on their ass about the job frequently, and every time theyd tell me they were “waiting on Partner to help them”. atp, Partner was working full time hours and i had two jobs so we could afford rent.
they never thought they had to change banks when they moved here. it didnt even cross their mind until i brought it up. their card locked when they use it because theyre in a different state from their bank. they essentially had no access to their money for nearly the whole time they were here. again, i get on their ass about changing banks for weeks because i had to do that myself (also moved states), and they did eventually change banks but only a week before they moved back home. between me and my partner, we paid for their food and their portion of rent the whole time we were here.
when it turned out they werent getting hired at Partner’s workplace, Partner and i discussed getting a job at the local grocery chain. Partner had experience working there and knew itd be a good fit for them. they applied and after orientation day, they then proceed to drag their feet on the actual online training and spend two weeks completing what shouldve been six hours of online training tops. for a retail job. they were meticulously taking notes on all of the training lessons. i was pissed at them about this and blew up on them about how it absolutely shouldnt have taken that long. atp, my partner quit their job, Roommate’s stay was going on two months, and because of our financial arrangement, i had been paying rent by myself since we got the lease.
over their stay, my partner and i got increasingly frustrated with Roommate to the point of discussing them behind their back. we would talk about how long they were taking with their second job application or how they struggle with their hygiene or just how they annoyed us in general. like discord calling unmuted in the living room without warning us beforehand, not cleaning the toilet seat if they had left it soiled, washing the dishes poorly to the point that food was still stuck on them, etc. we had valid some concerns but i definitely just bitched about them. we did talk to them about some of our issues, like teaching them to wash the dishes right, sitting in their room to discord call, but i vented often about how immature and unprepared they were for the move, and faulted them for things that werent quite their fault.
eventually, Roommate informs us about how they have been feeling like we are annoyed with them and how they might have jumped the gun and moved out too early. Roommate is our friend, and atp they were about to actually get hired at their job, they were just waiting for a call back from the HR manager. ultimately we would rather Roommate stay with us because they’d be away from their family and they finally would have some independence with their job. we said we’d let them slep on it, but to please not leave or at least talk to us some more about it. a few days after we talk, i wake up to a text from Roommate that “their dad is here”. it turns out their dad drove the 8 hour drive to come pick them up and bring them home. they spent the morning of that day packing all of their things and then let their dad into the apartment without telling us beforehand. im pantless with a stranger in my fucking apartment. i spend the next 3 hours talking to their dad about how much they owe us in rent, expenses, and spending money, and trying to see if they can still stay. their dad says their mom demands them to come back home. after discussing how much they owe me, the two of them left. their dad would be paying me back the money, and they essentially got to stay here with us for the summer for free on their part.
aita for holding a grudge against them? i feel its hypocritical of me, especially because i actually treated them pretty poorly. because of how sheltered Roommate was, they would often ask questions about the most mundane and insignificant and common sense stuff, and i would get frustrated with them super easily. when they were filling out their work applications, they asked me whether they should work full time or part time hours. i had spent at least half an hour helping them fill in their basic information on the application, and i snapped at them that i literally couldnt decide that for them, they should figure out whether they can work full time or part time.
its been a month since, and its bothering me endlessly. their dad sent me a partial payment and nothing for the past three weeks, when we agreed he’d pay me back weekly. we’re STILL getting their mail and federal checks because they “couldnt get the website to work”, so i have to find time to mail their checks to them. something that could have been fix had they given me actual time to sort out their move instead of leaving without warning.
this was the first time ive ever had any independence. i moved away from a toxic family home myself, so i really wanted them to also stay away from their toxic family. so like was i somehow more toxic than their actual parents? i have an extremely short temper, so i definitely snapped at them and talked hella shit about them as time went on, but i was never violent to them and i tried my best to be civil and encouraging and supportive of them while handling two jobs and paying rent by myself. like, im the youngest, and i got the lease and was paying all of rent. i had changed banks and secured a job for myself before i had even landed in the state beforehand. like again, moving in together was The Plan we all had for the prior few years. i was super prepared, and it just seemed like Roommate didn’t really think about the logistics of moving in, just that omg yay they were moving in with their friends :). i dont know. theres a lot happening here.
What are these acronyms?

Can you explain for my friend why wotc actions after the leak are bad?
This is gonna be a bit lengthy but first I want to establish a timeline. Note the only real info we have is from the Youtuber in question, so it's not unreasonable that some of this is wrong, either intentionally or just because this guy likewise doesn't know all of what happened.
A Youtuber with about 5000 subscribers, oldschoolmtg, ordered booster boxes of March of the Machine.
2. The person he ordered them from mistakenly gave him boxes of March of the Machine: Aftermath.
3. oldschoolmtg cracked the Aftermath packs and posted videos of that online. It does sound like he was aware of difference between MOM and MOM Aftermath before he posted the videos. He said he doesn't believe the person who sold them was aware as that person isn't really into Magic (I personally know a store like this--the owner is really into Warhammer but does Magic stuff too because it pays bills).
4. Wizards says they tried to contact him but couldn't reach him. As far as I know we have no context for how they tried to contact him, how many attempts they made, or how long they waited before hiring the Pinkertons to shake him down.
5. I believe Sunday April 25 in the morning the Pinkertons showed up at this guy's house to recover "stolen" product. They threatened jail time and the Youtuber refers to them as "law men" in his video so I'm not sure if he misunderstands their role or if they misrepresented themselves.
6. After getting the cards, the Pinkerton agents provided a phone number to a person at Wizards for oldschoolmtg to call. He said this person was apologetic and cordial and said they don't believe anything was stolen but they needed the product so they could figure out how this happened to prevent it in the future. oldschoolmtg also says they said they'd send him some product to compensate for the cards the Pinkertons just took from him.
7. oldschoolmtg removed the Youtube videos of him opening the Aftermath packs. They also asked him to ask everyone else to take those vids down, claiming some sort of copyright infringement.
That's all the info I'm aware of, mostly just straight from the person who experienced this.
So why is this wrong?
First, MOM Aftermath is an embargoed product. Which means Wizards ships it out to retailers (be they big box store or LGS or online space or whatever) under a contract that they won't sell it before a certain date and time. oldschoolmtg believes the person he purchased from simply mixed up the two sets because of the similar names. He says he purchased the product and according to his recollection of the phone call, the rep at Wizards likewise didn't think he had stolen it.
That's important because the embargo agreement is between retailers and Wizards. oldschoolmtg had no contractual obligation with regard to the embargoed product. It leads me to believe the Pinkertons were involved because they'd willingly insinuate the product was stolen and oldschoolmtg had committed a crime when in actuality there was no grounds to take any legal action against the man. There was no grounds to get a warrant to search for the product. He had committed no crime. He bought Magic cards from a guy who sells Magic cards. The only actual recourse Wizards would have had if the cards weren't stolen was to pursue the guy who sold them for breaking the embargo.
The only theft that actually occurred was when the Pinkertons raided this guy's home to take cards he purchased.
That's my take given what info we know. The Youtube videos aren't actually relevant in a meaningful way--that's just how Wizards found out.
But it's actually even worse. It would have been shitty to seek out a warrant or just sic lawyers on him. Of course I don't think they had grounds for it, so instead they went extrajudicial instead. That is they took a course of action that didn't involve courts.
For those who don't know, the Pinkertons started in 1850 and operated largely as violent strikebreakers. They're still helping break strikes today. They've been hired by Amazon and Starbucks within the last three years to spy on unionization efforts. Their history is bloody and murderous. No exaggeration. Their response to workers striking and unionizing in the past has been to beat them and shoot them.
I think you can put two and two together here. What does it say for a billion dollar multinational company to send these violent thugs to the private home of a small a guy operating a small Youtube channel?
It's a threat to this guy and anybody else; if you leak our cards we will find where you live and we will come after you. Specific use of the Pinkertons is part of this intentional message. There are other security firms without the history and notoriety. And while any such action would be just as disturbing, I doubt using almost any other agency would have had quite the effect as hiring Pinkertons.
tl;dr Based on what we know it's unlikely this guy did anything actually wrong or unlawful and Wizards sent agents from a firm with a violent and notorious history to his home in an act of intimidation

Hello everyone. I’d like to give y’all a quick recap of my time in retail this holiday season:
-two guests tried to fight one of our online order guys, and from what I heard they absolutely provoked him and started the beef by stealing things from the order he was picking for
-had two female guests try to fight ME because I had the audacity to ask them why they were opening boxes of makeup, and management pretty much did nothing about it bc they continued shopping and got to checkout like nothing happened. Then had a leader, who knows nothing about my dept, try to come over and say it was my fault for not saying the exact right thing to her
-had a leader complain to upper management that I “don’t follow direction” bc she tried to come over to my dept, completely change the way we do shit by having me and my coworker switch areas (despite me telling her that our fucking SCHEDULE literally confirms that she is wrong, which she even later admitted herself???)
-had a lady throw boxes of makeup sponges at me
-had to tell multiple groups of very obviously rich and entitled teens/kids that is in fact extremely shitty to get the electric scooters meant for disabled guests and instead use them to race, play bumper cars, or stack three people in the basket on the front of it
Also. A VERY SPECIAL FUCK YOU to some specific customers. An hour after I got screamed at and threatened by the two customers I mentioned above, I guy walking through my area then drops an entire like 24 pack of topo Chico onto the floor and there’s fuckifn glass and water everywhere. Since I had just been screamed at and my leaders did nothing to have my back, I was little bit in a bad mood by the time the broken glass happened. Fucking sue me right?? Wel two guests who SAW ME cleaning up the glass (didn’t even fucking interact with me, I remember) and I guess thought that I didn’t look happy enough while I was doing that and decided to fucking FILE A COMPLAINT ABOUT IT.
Literally what fhe FUCK is wrong with you that you see a worker clearly having a very hard day, in the middle of holiday season, and you then think to yourself, “you know what? That worker needs to be smiling while being plowed in the ass by capitalism. And the fact that they’re not deriving physical, spiritual and sexual pleasure from their shitty retail job offends me so much I think I’ll have to complain about them and make it even worse.”
I even remember who might’ve complained too. Bc the guy that dropped the damn bottles in the first place didn’t even stick around to see it resolved (naturally) and so I didn’t even interact with any customers while cleaning it. HOWEVER, there was a couple standing nearby that when it happened, they immediately ran to his side like “oh man that’s so terrible you must be having a bad day? Are you alright? Do you need help?” So I guess fuck the person who actually has to clean this all up, no instead we should fawn over the jackass who broke all this glass and couldn’t even pretend he cared about it. Because that makes perfect fucking sense. Also love the casual implication that retail workers must be smiling deliriously all the fucking time and that I am not allowed to show any emotions besides that bc I am subhuman and not deserving of any grace or empathy. So dear customers who complained… I’m literally BEGGING the universe to fuck you over and YOU personally because if you truly had nothing better to do than scrutinize the facial expressions of a retail worker you never even interacted with, you are truly a waste of oxygen and are detrimental to society. I hope your nastiness comes back to bite you in the ass. I hope someone kicks YOU while you’re down and I hope it fucking sucks, you worthless piece of shit.

Octopus Pie: The Complete Series Box Set - Coming in September 2023!
I’m delighted to announce that you’ll soon be able to collect the whole Octopus Pie series in a neat, handsome box! Coming September 19th from me & Image Comics. You can read the full press release here.
Tumblr media
The boxes, along with all 5 Image volumes, feature new artwork and - perhaps most excitingly - a custom insert that aligns them together on the shelf! Finally, my youthful page formatting decisions, corrected and… vindicated??
Tumblr media
If you’ve been trying to hunt these books down for a while, you’ll be happy to know this release coincides with a REPRINT of Vol 1. Check the press release to find a comic shop that’s got your back, or pre-order the whole set from a major retailer.
What does this mean if you want the box, but already own the Image books? Well, apart from the clout of being an original OP head, I’ll have a limited but mighty supply of empty boxes for you. I’ll offer these online in the near future - more info when I’ve got it!
Tumblr media
It’s really fun to have a new OP thing in the mix, and after months of planning and prototyping, I’m so pleased to share what we’ve made. Thank you for all the love, 16 years on!

I've decided that i want to disrupt the strightsized/midsized thriftblogger industrial complex for my fellow actually fat people. I havent been as small as a size 18 since senior year of highschool and my waistline is sitting comfortably at around 50 inches these days and i thrift but it's frequently humiliating. Here are my tips.
one: there isn't nothing. It might be slim pickings. It might be a single rack in a 2 story shop. It might be only 2 pairs of pants in the whole place. But you've been on the street and in the grocery store. You know there are other people your size in the world and their stuff ends up a thrift store too.
two: avoid trendy areas like the plague. do you live in a smaller town? do you have reason to go to one? go to a thrift store there. if you know there are more people your size in an area, then that's a good sign for your chances. you aren't looking for designer pieces at a steal; you are looking for some gently used lane bryant and this is where it lives.
three: it isnt all or nothing. you can get some things thrifted and some things you're probably going to have to buy at a plus sized store. Getting a few nice blouses for cheap can free up your budget for a pair of new pants from a plus sized retailer. For instance, I really cant thrift a pair of shoes for shit because i have extra wide feet and cankles for days, but my partner who is a similar weight has regular sized feet and could thrift shoes easily, and that's a lot of money that could be saved there.
four: if it only almost fits, put it back. if you're anything like me, the fact that you can button or zip it is going to feel like a miracle, but if it hurts or digs in any way, it'll sit in your closet for weeks while the things that don't hurt get worn many times in a row. we don't always have the luxury of everything in our wardrobes sparking joy but it can at least not spark pain.
five: be honest. if you aren't going to fix it or take it out, don't waste your money on a project piece that's going to sit around for the next 2 years and go back to the thrift store from whence it came.
five point five: be a little adventurous though. especially with shirts and dresses. maybe you've never tried that color before but it looks good in the store. this is a low stakes way to expand your style. you can always get rid of it if you decide against it, either within a return window, or donating it back. If your thrift store gives coupons for donating, taking a small grocery bag with a few pieces will get you the same discount as a car full of old furniture, so donate small amounts and often.
six: if you're thrifting online, thrift the brand you trust. like i hinted above, i trust lane bryant. i also trust torrid because i'm tall and torrid is for me and the transfems. search on shopgoodwill or depop or whatever by the brand you know the sizing of. hell, you can also seach the box store brand like time and tru or ava viv on there if you miss that one piece from a year or two ago that was cute and fit you perfectly. Speaking of...
seven: goodwill gets target overstock. you can find new overstock stuff from last season on the racks. i've seen many a thing go from clearance at my local target to on the shelves at the goodwill. keep it in mind if you're broke but used clothes yuck you out. you can find new with tag stuff in plus sizes, either from stores directly or people who just aren't fussed about money.
eight: you have to go a lot to find stuff. that's how the bloggers do it; they made it their side hustle in some way. i don't suggest doing it if you have no interest in it, but if you can put aside a half hour once a week or twice a month to check while you're running your errands, you can start finding stuff. Keep your trips and your budget small, and start looking for stuff for the next season months ahead of time to keep the pressure down.
nine: save a treat. either literally go for a treat afterward for being a big brave bestie and confronting the fact that you have a corporeal form and it needs clothes, or look through the fun thing that relaxes you. Looking for silly mugs? trying to find fine leather purses? want to look at ugly figurines and take pictures of them to text your friend and say "it's you'? Do that. Every time you go to the thrift store, add in the fun thing. If looking for work clothes can't motivate you, maybe looking through the children's paperbacks to try to rebuild your collection of animorphs books that you got rid of in 2005 will.
lastly: cut out the middle man. if you have a friend or relative of similar size to you: TRADE the pieces you're pruning from your wardrobe with each other before you donate them. It will give you the spark of newness that you both are looking for. Also you can reference the "those shoes... look familiar..." vine when you see them wearing something you gave them.
tl;dr: thrift often and in small doses, make it fun for yourself if you can, and also i just heard a tip where if you want to check a waistband size without trying it on, have the waistband fully closed and hold it to your hip. if the ends of the waistband reach your spine and bellybutton, it'll probably fit. So that's pretty handy.

Dolls & Doll-adjacent Things I’ve Been Obsessed with This Month 💖 (plus links!)
1. Antu Dreamlike Teaparty Centaur BJD’s
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ve thought about these constantly since they were revealed. They’re just so SWEET 🥹. I have a couple coming in this week, I really hope I get the purple one!

2. Ddung Clown Doll
Tumblr media
Ddung is a Korean doll line I just learned about! They seem to fall between collector and playline— the bodies are study & the outfits are very detailed and well-constructed. This clown is EVERYTHING
3. Licca Chan Bunny Outfit
Tumblr media
Okay so this is an outfit FOR a doll and not a doll itself, but oh my god look at Licca’s fluffy bunny outfit!! UGH!! Basic Licca dolls can be relatively affordable. Plus, the clothing sets usually fit rainbow high 👀
4. Dorothy Forest Spirit
Tumblr media
These are figures more than dolls, but I just adore these little deer ladies!! I have the one with the green raindrop dress, and I bring her around everywhere to keep me company. Their sitting position makes them so easy to display!
5. Teennar Campus Blindbox BJDs
Tumblr media
They’re fruit themed, they’re fashionable, and they’re SO baby!! There’s also going to be a series of figurines and a set of Sakura-themed recolors for this line!
