#PP: Almeric Davis

Aldric grew up into a plaid shirt, so I decided to lean into it and give him a hipstery makeover.

To be honest though I am second guessing it a little now - he looks a bit too much like Gabe O'Mackey to me? Ah well.

He immediately wanted to go into politics and marry rich, so he's obviously a bit of a social-climber. Perhaps he will eventually move somewhere like Veronaville?

But, for now, he got an apartment near the beach in Desiderata Valley. Mostly because Dixie and Aldric are moving there this round, and I think deep down Almeric would like to reconnect with his brother (plus I don't want every grad moving Downtown). My version of Desiderata does have a city vibe, there are lots of job oppotunies there!

Remember I was playing a bit of La Fiesta tech? Yeah, it's been a minute :')

But I loaded up the Oresha-Hoh-Ver guys for the first time in a while! Current members are Mattew Hart, Ricky Cormier, Alermic Davis, and William Williamson. All four should really have graduated by now, so I figured it was time to play their house.

Almeric still doesn't get along that great with his twin. They've been distant since Aldric transferred to SSU, and don't seem to have much in common these days.

Almeric: Wait, your "job" is just playing video games all day? Aldric: It's a real job! I pay taxes and everything. Almeric: Still, don't you care about making a difference in the world? Aldric: Uh, no?

The party was a hit, with lots of old friends showing up. Johnny Smith and Almeric were dormed together all those years ago when they first started college! They enjoyed the chance to catch up on life over a few slices of pizza.

Jasmine's quick to catch her old friend Johnny up on her life, evidently still kind of pissed at Zoe cheating on her in senior year. Almeric remembers she and him hooking up that one time, but decides its probably not worth bringing up in company.

Almeric graduates at last! As a huge perfectionist and a snob he's not very happy about only scaping a C+, he has high standards for himself! But it'll have to do.

A few more screenshots of daily life at the frat. Very little studying, a while lot of partying! Sarah Love, Matthew's fiancee, visits almost every day. The guys know she's strictly off limits, but seem to appreciate her company. Especially when she's in that bikini...

They also get a visit from graduates Guy Wrightley and Mickey Dosser. Guy seems so put together and professional these days, while Mickey hasn't changed one bit.

Poor Almeric gets so distracted by all the bubble-blowing and partying that he misses the final exam and ends up on academic probation again. Whoops!

Almeric is so upset! His twin brother Aldric is a total slacker but graduated ages ago and is already making a career for himself and getting engaged. Meanwhile he's still stuck at college, failing constantly! This sucks!

The date seemed like it was going well, but just when Jasmine plucked up the courage to ask him back to her place he made an excuse and took off! She couldn’t quite manage to feel dissapointed.

(Cute seeing Lucy and Jill together, especially with Buck hanging out there too.)

Instead, Jasmine heads to the campus quad and bumps into Almeric. No reason the other night has to be just a one night stand, right? Maybe they could hang out a little?

Some of the old college crew come over for a housewarming party. He and Frances J are still going steady.

“Oh, hey. You’re Aldric’s bossy twin brother!”

“Older brother.”

“Right, right. Nice to meetcha. Put ‘er there!”

Resuming where we left off with the sorority! Stella’s feeling sociable today. I have no idea why she and Almeric Davis took against each other all of a sudden but I’m loving it, honestly.

Next household: the Oresha-Hoh-Var Fraternity! I moved them into my makeover of the frat house, which caused them all to reroll their wants - suddenly the boys are all super interested in studying and going to class? I’m sure it won’t last.

“Are you seriously crying?”

“I’m not!! Fuck off.”

“Wow, that’s pathetic. Anyway, I’m off Downtown, see you later.”

This is one of those times where sims bahaviour just says it all, haha. Jessie’s revelling in all the attention. So what if one guy turned her down??? Look at all the guys she gets! She’s still winning.

Jessie can Sarah clearly the whole display a little gross, but WHATEVER, Sare. Sare the square. Honestly, what a prude!
