I’ve never read a more perfect WTNV headcanon in my fucking life

Concept: Cecil is a perfectly average person with no remarkable, noteworthy Night Vale-influenced features.

Until Carlos discovers that he can dislocate his joints without pain when one of Khoshekh’s kittens goes exploring in an air duct and needs rescuing.

Then he learns the true nature of Night Vale’s influence on its inhabitants as he watches his husband gently fold himself into a vent.

all the fan art depicting cecil always show him in some sort of classy attire, but i find that very hard to believe

I’ve heard folks claim that they don’t like Charles because he’s “boring”

kids, we hardly know anything about him yet. What we know is that he’s a good dad who loves his son, he’s a theologist, and he wants to make things work with Kevin but only if Kevin is willing to accept Donovan

we also know that he’s absolutely dtf, and that Kevin and Desert Bluffs don’t freak him out (on the contrary, Charles is a thirsty boy)

This gives us some, but not a lot of things to work with. I don’t know why all yall foolish people seem to think that a single parent devoted to his kid is the equivalent of boring
