What can you do with a Bachelor in Interior Design course?
In the twenty-first century, significant changes have been seen in individual lives. Among the various changes noted, a significant number of alterations are maintained in the design industry. Many new trends have emerged in the design industry lately, one of which is the increased need for interior designers.
Interior designers create aesthetically pleasing spaces for both residential and commercial settings by employing appealing lighting, colours, and themes for walls, furniture, show pieces, and accessories. The Bachelor of Interior Design is a four-year degree curriculum.
A Bachelor of Interior Design degree is one of the most promising job paths that a person may pursue. You may search the internet for the Best Interior Design Colleges in Gandhinagar. Designers have been in high demand owing to the necessity for improved home design as a result of lifestyle changes and space value enhancement. These designers should be able to create an environment that has an immediate appeal factor. Similarly, in a business setting, marketing methods need a more inviting environment in order to quickly attract customers and prospective consumers.
The following are some career options for interior designers.
Space Designer
As an interior space designer, you will be required to create an aesthetically acceptable environment within a restricted area. Staying within your budget, you may arrange furniture, position the lighting and colours of the room, and add decorations wherever your design sense leads you. The spaces allotted to you may be residential or commercial, such as cafés or restaurants.
Clients' demands may fluctuate depending on recent trends or themes, therefore space designers must stay current. For example, when the multiplayer online game Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) was popular for a few years, some commercial establishments made a lot of money by employing designers to design their area to make it seem like the game.
Tumblr media
Exhibit Designer
Marketing patterns have dramatically changed in the twenty-first century. As a result of these changes, marketers have recognised the value of events and exhibits in reaching their target audiences. Furthermore, these events are often attended by investors or purchasers themselves. Businesses often engage exhibition designers to connect with people directly and form an accurate assessment of the brand's image. These designers play an important part in recognising audience kinds based on demographic information such as age, gender, and race.
It also entails organising fashionable coloured objects and developing a theme for the client's needs. Furthermore, the exhibition designer decides on the overall show décor and organisation. It is critical to communicate the appropriate message and attitude to the participants based on understanding of the client's requirements. Designers may build their own themes in addition to remaining up to speed on the newest trends. It contributes to the development of a long-term and good perception of the brand.
Kitchen Designer
A kitchen designer has one of the most intriguing work opportunities. Kitchen design entails arranging things and utensils while also taking into account practical requirements. Kitchen designers should be familiar with the operation and functionality of different kitchen products in addition to their appearance.
Lighting Designer
As the name implies, a lighting designer's primary responsibility is to ensure that the room is properly lighted. A well-lit area immediately attracts the attention of passersby. It is an important consideration while planning the inside of any home or structure. Second, the tints utilised should be appropriate for the themes of the residences. Understanding the appropriate lumination type and its corresponding colour palette is critical for a product designer who works with lighting and its effects.
Conclusion
It is critical to understand the brand for which you are decorating. In today's fast-paced world, creative professions like interior design and its variants are becoming more popular. An interior designer is responsible for a variety of activities, including overseeing the space and furniture, as well as the lighting.
Interior designers will be in high demand as the age progresses. The Unitedworld School of Creative Intelligence of Business and Design offers a four-year degree programme in Bachelor of Interior Design. Our professional instructors assist students through the curriculum and other activities that promote creativity and overall growth. So, if you search for Interior Design colleges in Gandhinagar, you will discover Unitedworld School of Creative Intelligence at the top of the list.

O’ petite Lune loves the Moonlight.
Ethereal magic sprinkled with butterflies conveys lasting tranquility and eternal peace, breaking into the warmth of the soul. O' mystical aura envelops the forest with a petite lassie collected of roses in a beautiful rattan basket adorned with daisy arrangements. The enchanting silhouette of a nymph amongst the dense trees was exquisite as she gracefully waltzed into a small house made of weathered wood. A redolence of the quintessence, always intoxicating and comforting.
Tumblr media
Page I. About her.
She, Hilaire Amèlie Jane wore a silk dress draped over her body until dangled down to greet the grass she walked on. Ameliè, usually people address her by her nickname. But apparently, behind her current name, she has a habit of changing her name indefinitely and following the whims of her heart, as she labels her safe place with a rant that crosses over to her private social life; tweets her daily life, and things she likes, admiring her biases, cursing about the harshness and cruelty of the world—or things outside the invisible rules, as well as monologue spontaneously about anything. However, it is important to note that she often uses harsh words that are not appropriate for minors to see.
Apparently, she often uses this beloved account to post her life activities, share her writing, post edits of her writing or whatever she wants to showcase, share movie reviews, and do other things she likes. Frankly, in this uncertainly, she has some things to highlight if she often curses, a lil bit NSFW, and shares some negative vibes when her body feels tired, complaining about things that bother her soul and mind. Ah, unfortunately, don't worry! If she has recently changed her bad habits a bit to share things and spread positive vibes because that's a source of happiness, right?
It is not uncommon for her to use Sesya as her display name. Sesya, Sesya Hilaire Maiara is her first name that she still uses. Please don't be surprised if she uses Hilaire as her display name because as the girl said, she is very fond of changing her name. Please note that she has very selective and prefers small accounts. She is 22+ and is enjoying the journey of her life, romanticizing everything that happens in her life, changing her mindset for the better.
However, please don't interact if you don't like interaction, problematic (please go away), being rude, hate her favs, do not follow without her permission, DNSS (DO NOT SCREENSHOT please!), toxic people, racist, animal and child abuse, BTS and BLACKPINK antis, MDNI, rude people, attention seekers, can't respect and support each other, and feel uncomfortable with her whole contest. Be wise as a living creature.
Tumblr media
In her daily life, to chase away boredom strikes and in a desire to fill her free time;
She is very interested in decorating her diary, journaling about her daily life or biases, decorating some parts that catch her attention, beading beads, writing and pouring out thoughts and hearts that fill her head, watching movies, listening to music, or reading books and playing with her beloved cats. Sometimes, she is very interested in sketching/drawing or painting, but she is still very much a beginner and still has a lot to learn about improvisation.
She loves matcha, cakes (although they often give her a dizzy if she eats too much), milk, cats, romantic comedy movies with light storylines or curious mystery genres, cartoons, Barbies, spicy food, stickers, novels, comics, and many more.
She is primarily interested in BLACKPINK and BTS as a fan girl. Her main biases are Kim Taehyung and Kim Jennie, but she doesn't rule out the possibility of liking other kpop idols as well. Currently, she is looking into NewJeans, TBZ, and more.
She often spends all her time watching anime, Thai dramas, Korean dramas, Japanese dramas, Chinese dramas, playing games ML and PUBG, or watching YouTube about daily life, video games, or other positive things. She is interested in psychology, even though she did not major in it. ♡
She loves collection of novels, stickers, and comics. However, most of the books she had were romantic stories or high school teenage stories that had a lighthearted story. To be honest, she didn't really like sad stories, because they were so soul-draining.
She is a casual listener of Keshi, Lauv, Lany, Slchld, Arctic Monkeys, The NBHD, 5SOS, The 1975, CAS, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Tiara Andini, Mahalini, Joji, Shiloh Dinasty, MCR, Olivia Rodrigo, NIKI, The Weeknd, Rnla, Demxntia, sadeyes, and many more.
When night falls, and amid the silence embracing the pitch-black darkness, only the walls of the room are silent witnesses to how her heart writes and spills all the remaining anger on the stanza of a sentence. Only the night embraced her frail body and on this page, she immortalized the whole outpouring of her heart;
Tumblr media
Ah, sometimes she also fills her free time by giving reviews of movies or dramas that she has watched before. However, there are a few movies that she hasn't added to the page below, but... she would love it if someone would check out what movies she has watched!
Oh ya... almost forgot to mention on this introduction page, she has an anonymous link that can be used for you or anyone and it's open if anyone wants to drop a message, tell a story, ask a question about anything, and she's very open to anyone and please don't hesitate!
If there's someone who needs a friend to talk to, needs a hug, she can give it to you. However, she does ask that you please be nice and let's respect each other, spread positive energy. 🍭🧚‍♀️

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
“Lisa, I’m scared! What if she tackles me? You know how she can get when she’s excited…”
The throaty chuckle that leaves the maknae works to calm you down, and you find yourself smiling despite the nerves. “The girls and I will be there to keep you safe, don’t worry. Jisoo-monster can’t hurt you.”
You shake your head as you grab the tickets, stuffing them in your pocket and mentally preparing yourself for the surprise. Lisa takes your hand and drags you out the door in a rush, her happiness plain to see.
~~~
The sounds of your foot falls against the linoleum work in tandem with the beating of your heart, and you do your best to conceal your grin. The last thing you want to do is give the plan away at the last second.
Upon opening the door, you find the other 3 girls sprawled out on the floor in various positions, bodies exhausted from dance practice. So much for protecting you.
“Where were you guys? We were starting to get worried.”
When you take too long to reply, Jennie raises up onto her elbows, narrowing her eyes. “Y/N…”
Shit. You’re toast. The girls’ eyes search the two of you quizzically while your brain goes into overdrive in an attempt to find a believable excuse. Everyone knows you’re a bad liar, and you’ve just been caught in the act.
“LisawashelpingmewithasurpriseforJisoo.”
The words leave your lips in a rush, but your girlfriend doesn’t miss her name being thrown in there at the end. Her eyes dart up to yours, and she perks up.
“OYE! What was that?”
Releasing a sigh, you repeat yourself. “Lisa was helping me with a surprise for you.”
Jisoo’s stupid smirk from across the room makes you giggle, and you roll your eyes. She stands up and walks over, wrapping her arms around you.
"A surprise, huh?" She asks cutely, her eyes shining even brighter than usual as she raises her eyebrows repeatedly like a dork. Both of your smiles widen as you nod at her, allowing your hands to run through her mussed hair. Seeing her so excited makes everything worth it, and you know you'd spend every dollar to your name in order to keep her as happy as this; she deserves nothing less.
As she leans in to press a kiss against your lips, her hands work their way down to your hips, resting there. Too caught up in the moment, you fail to realize that her fingers have hooked their way into your pockets.
Her lips vibrate against yours as she lets out a confused mumble, her fingertips brushing over the foreign material. She gets the jump on you, quickly snatching the tickets from your jeans, and you watch her face as she reads them.
Every moment that passes feels like an eternity, the air void of any sound as you and the girls wait to see her reaction. She's still just staring at them, running a finger across the material as she rereads the info printed there. A pang of insecurity runs through you at her continuous silence, and you can't help but speak up.
"I know they're not the premium access ones, but we still get to--"
"They're absolutely perfect, Y/N. I don't know what to say." Her voice is gentle and quiet, and your heart softens at how precious she looks right now.
"You didn't have to do all of this for me." She says, unbelieving that she deserves such a gift. Determined to remind her of how much she means to you, you cup her cheek and coax her into looking into your eyes.
"After everything you do for me, this is the least I could do, baby. You're worth every bit of it and then some. I can't wait to take you."
She pulls you up against her again, wrapping her arms around your shoulders as she whispers words of gratitude and praise into your ear.
A minute later she pulls away to give everyone in the room a warning.
"Prepare yourselves -- incoming scream in 3...2...1…"
Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé all scramble to the farthest corner of the room, tripping and sliding the entire way while you just cover your ears and laugh. They look like characters out of an episode of Scooby Doo.
"AHHHH I love them!" She suddenly shouts, throwing her hands up into the air triumphantly as she does a little happy dance with the tickets. Her joy is contagious, and soon the rest of you are all bouncing around with her in celebration.
-----
"Ready, my love?"
Upon poking your head into Jisoo's room, you find her sitting at her vanity, smoothing out her hair before she puts on her signature Pikachu hat.
"Just a minute." She responds, sending you a soft smile through the mirror. You lean against the door frame to admire her until she's done, studying how elegant she looks while doing even the simplest thing. How you managed to get so lucky is beyond you, but you thank your lucky stars for her every day.
Once she's finished, she turns around in her chair to get a good look at you. A light pattern of blush rises to her cheeks at the way you're looking at her, head over heels and hopelessly devoted. A grin tugs at her lips as she approaches you, dusting off your shoulders and fixing your shirt just like a married couple would.
"I'm so in love with you."
Jisoo's heart speeds up at your words, still getting just as giddy as it did the first time you confessed to her. She bats her eyelashes and looks at you as if you hold the key to the universe.
"No way! Me too; I'm pretty great, aren't I?" She plays, making you roll your eyes and laugh. Of course she has to mess with you in the middle of a serious moment.
"I'm kidding. I love you more and more every day, Y/N." She says, taking your hands within her own as she loops them around her waist. Her eyes meet yours again, and she leans in to kiss your cheek.
"Now come on or we'll be late. I can't wait to school you!" She says, sticking her tongue out at you.
"Oh you are so going down. Just don't cry when I beat you." You retort, mocking her as you pout and make your lip tremble.
She playfully pushes you out the door, cackling as you almost fall. You say goodbye to the girls, making sure to give them all big hugs before leaving the dorm.
----
The convention center is bigger than you had ever imagined it'd be. Past the security line at the entrance, the space opens up immensely with two large hallways sprawling off on either side of the main performance room. High ceilings tower overhead, their support beams decorated with various posters and guides. Some staff members sit at a long line of tables to greet guests and offer information about the scheduled events.
"Good afternoon, ladies. How're you doing today?" One of them asks as you approach.
"Good, thank you. And you?" Jisoo says, smiling excitedly.
"I'm doing just fine. Is there anything I can help you with?" The woman is kind; you like her.
"Do you by chance have a map?" You inquire.
She nods, reaching underneath the table to fish the complimentary guide out of one of the boxes.
"Here you go."
"Thank you very much. I think this is all we need; have a great day!" You cheerily reply, bowing your head to show gratitude.
"You're welcome. Come back if you have any more questions; we hope you two enjoy your experience with us!" She sends you one last smile as you step out of line and allow the next guest to take your place.
After scanning your eyes across the busy area, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all that's going on, you spot some tables near the large front windows of one of the expo halls.
You direct Jisoo's attention to them, and you swiftly make your way over there.
"Be cool -- I snuck us in some snacks because everything here is overpriced as hell."
You whisper to her, stealing a glance around the two of you before opening your coat like some sort of drug dealer. She lets out a little giggle as she eyes the assortment of candies and food you brought, saying: "You smart."
"Alright, let's plan out our route."
She nods in agreement, pulling a chair up next to yours so you both can look at the map.
Various fandoms have booths and rooms set up throughout the building -- everything from movies and tv shows, to any video game you can think of. Because of the scope of experiences offered, the tickets weren't easy to come by: you had to pay a pretty penny to even get the "cheap" option. Nevertheless, that's the last thing on your mind as you notice how happy Jisoo is right now. Her eyes dart across the paper, taking in all of the different sections and committing them to memory.
"I heard that the Harry Potter wing has butterbeer…" you start, nudging her shoulder with a smile.
She lights up at this, quickly deciding that you should start your trip there. "Okay, let's begin with it. Then we can check out some of the other movie franchises in that hall, and come over to the video games after."
You glance down at your phone to check the time before adding, "That'll work out perfectly. Overwatch and PUBG are having major tournaments later, so we'll be there in time."
She stands up to snatch a pen from one of the nearby help stands, and returns to her seat soon after. A scribbling noise can be heard as she circles the different places you want to go, adding stars beside the ones you guys are most excited for.
"Done!" She declares, placing the cap back on the pen and setting it to the side.
"Lead the way, pretty girl." You purr, grinning at the way her eyes turn into those famous little crescents as she smiles. She slips her hand into yours, interlocking your fingers as the two of you begin your journey.
----
"Y/N IT'S SO ADORABLE!" She yells, pointing to one of the Animal Crossing plushies that adorns the table in front of you. You push the brim of your newly-purchased Star Wars hat out of the way so you can get a better look at what she's talking about.
"Awww." You coo, reaching into your pocket to grab your wallet without hesitation. After buying it for her, you have her stand by one of the latest posters so you can have a mini photoshoot.
"You're so beautiful."
She loses focus on posing for the camera now, her eyes shifting from the lens to your own. You nearly melt from the look of pure adoration she's sending you, and she takes that as her opportunity to compliment you back.
"And you're the cutest thing ever." You hide behind your hands, shielding your blushing cheeks from further scrutiny.
"Stop it." You command, feeling her arms snake around your waist as she approaches you.
"Never," she starts, pulling your hands away so she can pepper kisses across your face. "I'll spend every day reminding you how precious you are."
"Ya know, my heart really can't take all of this love. I'm surprised it hasn't burst yet."
"Well it'll just have to get used to it." She declares, nodding curtly with a final look of determination taking over her features.
"I'm in love with a dork, everyone." You say to an imaginary audience, taking a step back as you motion to Jisoo. She slaps your shoulder playfully before dragging you to the next booth.
---
For the past 2 and half hours, the two of you have hit up just about every spot you intended to. You've accumulated bagfuls of bracelets, necklaces, shirts, and other memorabilia from nearly every shop you visited, and the thought makes you happy. Jisoo can decorate the dorm with her figurines and merch, and she'll be reminded of today every time she sees them.
"The big Overwatch match is about to start, so we can check it out until the PUBG one begins, if you want."
"Okay, but can you help me put this necklace on before we go?"
You nod in affirmation, taking her over to a nearby bench to set your things down and help her. She scoots up next to you and pulls her hair to the side as you fasten the small clip behind her neck. The piece matches yours, and you grin as her fingers come up to toy with the material.
She spins around to face you as she expresses her thanks, quickly moving on to rant about the tournaments. She giggles eagerly, mind completely wrapped up with thoughts of the games as she gushes about the things she's looking forward to.
You're doing your best -- honestly, you really are -- but Jisoo's lips look so kissable right now that you can't help but lose focus. They purse and pout as she rambles on, and you do your best not to stare.
You fail miserably, though -- after finding that your eyes have been nearly glued to her lips for the past 5 minutes, your gaze always dropping back down to those heart shaped pillows, Jisoo smirks. The sight makes you weak in the knees but you try not to show it.
"Awww, does somebody want a kiss?" She teases, making kissy noises at you while you blush and look away.
"Yeah, and what about it?" You challenge, turning back to her.
Content with how much she's teased you (for now), she rests a hand on the back of your neck as she draws you in closer to her body. Her other hand rests on your thigh, rubbing small circles onto the material of your pants. The moment is innocent enough at first, but the combination of her soft lips against yours and her ministrations on your leg soon makes your blood pressure rise.
Feeling the stares of other guests passing by, you decide to pull away. She chases your lips, though, pressing one more peck to them before looking into your eyes.
Your pupils are blown wide; your lips a little darker now, and Jisoo pats herself on the back. You're artwork to her, and she loves to see what she's capable of doing to you.
"If you keep looking at me like that then we’re gonna miss a big portion of this match.” You say lowly, just loud enough for her to hear. Her eyebrows raise in surprise at what your words imply, and her lips settle in their famous heart pose.
"Come on then, let's go inside." She says, tugging you up along with her. You guys will have plenty of time for that, later; for now, the most important thing is the event.
-------
Upon entering the spacious room, your ears are filled with theme music being played over the speakers. Chatter from fellow fans can be heard as well, and you take a moment to look around.
Countless rows of chairs stretch out in front of you, all neatly lined up towards the large stage across the room. A vast majority of them are already taken, but you happen to spot 2 empty ones in what appears to be the 4th row.
"Come on, let's grab those seats." You say, pulling her from her geeked-out stupor. She continues to gape at the layout of the room as you lead her to the chairs, her eyes wide in wonder. Large projectors on either side of the stage take turns displaying pictures of the starting players from both teams. Multicolored lights also shine at various points throughout the room, moving about in predetermined patterns and motions as they cycle.
Within 10 minutes, the elite players make their entrance, sending the room wild. Introductions are made, and they all take their seats at the different computers lined up on stage.
"How's everyone doing?" The MC's strong voice booms into the microphone, echoing loudly across the performance hall. The crowd shouts its response and you laugh at how loud Jisoo bellows out her own.
"We have an amazing set for you here tonight. Teams from across the world have flown in to compete for the 150,000 dollar cash prize, as well as the title of Overwatch league champions!"
The teams clap along at this, some pumping themselves up for the match while others try to appear cocky and unaffected.
"Our first teams, hailing from the US and Australia, are beyond excited to be here. Let's give them a hand!" He steps back to allow the cameras to get the best possible view of the gamers, and the footage is cast onto big banners hanging from the ceiling. Now everyone, regardless of how far back they're sitting, are able to see them well.
After the MC interacts with the crowd a little more and some of the players speak to their supporters, the match begins.
Jisoo is never very far from you, always close enough to point out certain things that she notices and comment on their techniques. She's like a sponge, soaking in the different ways to improve her own skills. As much as you love video games yourself, it's hard to pay attention to the game when she looks so unbelievably happy.
Many rounds later, after the winners are announced, you cross your fingers and take a deep breath. There's one final thing that you didn't tell Jisoo about earlier...
"Now, it's time for what you've all been waiting for! We'll be selecting 3 audience members to join us on stage and play against one another. Let's see who wants a spot!"
The MC shouts cheerily with that million dollar smile plastered onto his face. It's easy to see that he loves his job, and you've enjoyed watching him interact with everyone tonight.
The large crowd erupts at this and you have to fight to contain your knowing smile. You really have a knack for surprises.
"Jisoo, baby, stand over here. I think you'll be able to get their attention better."
A subtle nod passes between you and the event organizer you met with earlier, and he says something into his headset. Thankfully Jisoo hadn't questioned why your previous "bathroom break" took 10 minutes, and you were able to make an arrangement with the staff.
"Pick me!"
"OVER HERE!"
"I can beat 'em!"
Various shouts and whistles sound out around the venue, all the hopeful candidates vying for the MC's attention. He leans down to listen to his assistant when she taps on his shoulder, informing him of your plan. With a smile slowly spreading across his lips, he looks in your direction and his eyes lock with yours. "Alright, everyone. Who thinks they've got what it takes?" He asks, walking down the stage stairs until he's face to face with the sizable audience. The cameras track his every move as he slowly walks up the large center aisle, some people clapping and reaching to high five him. "The three people I select will compete in a free-for-all for first place. The winner gets 200 dollars and a t-shirt signed by our league champions." His announcement spurs the crowd on even more, somehow, and they cheer at such a great prize. "You, with the Call of Duty shirt!" He calls into the mic, pointing to a teenage boy who looks like he's about to pass out from being noticed. He joins the MC, and together they make their slow voyage towards the back of the room.
"You, miss, with the Smite hat!" The young woman celebrates with her friend, and you smile as you watch them do a special handshake on the jumbo screen.
Now, with two enthusiastic players in tow, the MC ambles his way back up to the front. He tries not to make it obvious that he already knows who the final pick is, and thankfully he's a skilled actor. He knows just how to keep the crowd excited and make them think they still stand a chance.
"Yes, yes, I see that you're all eager to show your talents. But earning this final spot will take some convincing. Quick, everyone strike an epic player pose!"
Collective shuffling from the audience sounds out in waves as people scoot their chairs out of the way to make room for their stances. Jisoo, however, takes a different approach: with a steadying hand on your shoulder, she places one foot on each of your seats and stands proudly. One of her hands sits on her hip while the other rests an invisible gun on her shoulder. She glances at the MC with a raised brow and steely look in her eye.
Damn, she's good. After seeing how well she's doing right now, you doubt that she even needed your help in the first place. That makes you feel a little better about rigging the results, so it's a true win-win.
"Pikachu hat, it's your time to shine!" He laughs, motioning for her to come over. In an instant, her previously cool demeanor crumbles and she's left looking like a giddy little girl. She gives you a sweet hug before walking over to the trio.
-----
After introducing themselves to the room, the 3 hopefuls all sit down next to each other. You can see them eyeing the winners that have gathered around to cheer them on, more star struck than competitive in that moment. Well, at least the other two are: after allowing herself a minute to geek out, Gamer Jisoo™️ takes over and a serious aura befalls your girlfriend. She cracks her knuckles before getting comfortable in her seat, and she steals a glance at you. Her cheek tugs up ever so slightly, the hint of a smirk playing on her lips.
You make a heart with your hands and blow her a kiss, and she winks at you in return.
"Let's give them some encouragement!"
The crowd sounds off once more, and the three of them wish each other luck.
--
It's not a new discovery that your girlfriend is gorgeous, but something about how focused she is is so attractive. She's already taken down at least 5 other players, completely wiping the floor with them while barely batting an eye. Within a few more minutes, only Jisoo and Amelia, the other female audience member, remain.
"It's neck and neck as our last two competitors face off in the final stretch of the game."
The MC looks genuinely invested following his announcement, and you can almost see the inner 5 year old in him popping out. That's something that you love so much about video games: they can really bring the inner child out of anyone and distract them from life's stressors.
Jisoo's tongue darts out of her mouth, tracing over her lips in concentration as she considers her next move. You can practically see the wheels turning as her eyes dance across the screen, watching the movements of her enemy with the utmost focus.
Poor Amelia seems to be sweating buckets beside Jisoo; the pressure must really be getting to her. She looks intimidated, but she doesn't back down from the challenge.
And then, it stops. Jisoo fires one final, calculated shot, taking her opponent down within a second.
In what feels like slow motion, your eyebrows shoot up to your forehead in surprise and you stand up with a shout. You raise your arms above your head, screaming her name as you celebrate and cheer. You're the first thing she looks to once she realizes she's won, and that simple fact makes your heart grow 10 sizes. She smiles adorably as she observes you, grinning even deeper as confetti shoots out of the canons and onto the stage. She raises her head to watch it flutter down, shimmering in the lights as it rides the swirling air currents.
She's proud of herself, and so are you.
The same event organizer from before approaches you, informing you that you have the all-clear to go greet Jisoo on stage. And that you do: you race towards the stairs, practically flying up them and into her waiting arms. You pick her up and spin her around, getting lost in the feeling of her giggles vibrating against you.
"You did amazing, baby." You say, taking note of how the curve of her jaw is highlighted by the stage lights.
"Thank you, Y/N. For everything. Today has been amazing."
The MC grins at you approvingly, happy to see you guys so ecstatic. Ever the altruist, Jisoo makes sure to go shake hands with her opponents and raise their spirits before coming back to talk to the crowd.
Once the man has her attention again, he says, "Congratulations, Jisoo. How does it feel to win?"
"It feels great! I have to thank my beautiful girlfriend, though; she's the reason we're even here today." She says humbly, reaching over to squish your cheek.
A chorus of "ooh's" and "ahhh's" leaves the crowd, all of them gushing at how cute the two of you are. You spot yourself on the jumbo screen and blush with embarrassment.
His assistant returns with the cash and shirt promised to the winner, and she holds it up for the cameras. The fresh signatures gleam in the light, some of them written with glitter markers while others are in traditional sharpie.
"Here you go! Enjoy!" He cheers again, motioning for the audience to join him. Everyone does, and Jisoo clutches the material close to her chest triumphantly. The two of you watch everyone send their praise, and she rests her head on your shoulder to fully soak in the moment.
You eventually exit the stage, waving to all of them as you take your leave.
With the event now over, you head back to your seat to gather up your belongings and head to the PUBG panel.
"I love you." She says, causing you to pause your movements and look up at her.
"I love you more." You tease, pulling her in close as you plant a kiss to her temple. She hooks an arm around your neck once you finish grabbing the bags, walking out into the expo hall again.
"So, since you're rich now, can we go to the arcade on the second floor?"
"Um, duh. Next mission: Beat Y/N. PUBG can wait."
You grin cheekily at her confidence before pulling out of her embrace.
"Race you there!" You shout, laughing as you take off towards the elevator, giving yourself a major head start.
"Cheater!" She yells, giggling as she chases after you.
Can you write a fic about the AIB cast having a sleepover in the mansion that they all bought so that they could all live in there like a family...yes the dog trio will be in here too thank you very much.
Like one faithful day,Kento decided that everyone needs a break from their career...so? Why not a sleep over he says?. There will be board games (specifically family board games,Uno and Manolo-) and chaos!
Nijiro will constantly sometimes get scolded by Aoyagu sho(aguni) because he what been playing PUBG too much on his phone.
The mother of this family?: Nobuaki of course!
How about the father?: Aoyagi!
And now it's all up to you on what's gonna happen next :3!!
Cast Sleep
Characters: Yamazaki Kento, Sakurada Dori, Murakami Nijiro, Aoyagi Sho, Kaneko Nobuaki, Miyoshi Ayaka, Tsuchiya Tao, and Asahina Aya
Genre: Fluff. Just a section of the cast vibing in a brief sleepover. :D
1.3k words
Here it is! A sleepover without the sleep? So scandalous, I know, but a dash of marshmallows and UNO should do the trick. :D They're just vibing. :3
Tumblr media
The idea came to their director one day, after the success of Alice in Borderland, and how well everyone was interacting with each other. In a moments time, they were all ushered to take their cars to drive to a mansion that they all chose together, some carpooling to save gas.
The first group contained the girls, Asahina and Miyoshi climbing out the front while Tsuchiya came out the back, her dog hopping out with her with a happy bark to be let out of the car. They settled in first, Asahina and Tsuchiya marveling at how huge and pretty everything was, Miyoshi dragging in their luggage and bringing them up to their rooms. Apparently she didn’t take that long, as when Miyoshi came back the other girls were still talking about the decorative fish tank with fake fishes swimming about, Tsuchiya pointing out how cute the little robots were. Misao trots up to Miyoshi wanting pats, Miyoshi smiling at the poodle and petting Misao as much as the little pooch wanted.
Not much later, came Sakurada with his group, consisting of Yamazaki and Murakami, the latter playing games on his phone while listening to music. Tsuchiya opens the door to greet them, Yamazaki leaving the car and running up to greet her. Sakurada pokes his head to look at Murakami, the younger of the two humming quietly to himself. Fanta, Sakurada’s dog, was napping peacefully on his lap, apparently freed by either of the two men at some point. Sakurada chuckles and taps Murakami on the leg, Murakami looking up with wide eyes, pulling the earphones from his ears. “ Hm? Are we there yet?
“ Mmhmm! Let’s go!” Sakurada opens his door and gets out, Murakami (and a freshly awoken Fanta) following behind him and entering the house. They too greet the girls, Yamazaki heading outside with Tsuchiya to grab the trio’s luggage. By the time they get it in, another car pulls up, and out came the rest of the group, Kaneko excitedly waving at everyone with Aoyagi not that far behind.
“ Hello everybody!” Kaneko greets as he comes up to the mansion with his luggage, and besides him was Merry, who was casually trotting besides him. Sakurada kneels down to greet the dog, Merry coming up and getting her daily pats with a happy tail wag.
“ Why do you have Yanagi’s dog?” Asahina asks, watching Misao bound up to Merry and give a doggy greeting, Fanta busy playing with Murakami.
Kaneko just smiles, and points back out the door, Yanagi coming out from the backseat with a whole load of bags. “ We buried him in stuff by accident, so Merry was sitting up front with us!” “ We’re coming in-“ Aoyagi’s voice appears from behind Kaneko, Kaneko quick to move out of the way as the guy came in, followed shortly by Yanagi carrying as much bags as he could, only tilting his head in greeting as he walked by to drop the bags down somewhere. The others move out to help bring the rest, which all seemed to just hold foodstuffs. It made sense, of course, they needed food after all.
The group all eventually settle, dispersing within the house to get comfortable with the new living situation, Murakami sticking himself in the living area with all three dogs happily settling themselves around him. Sakurada found it rather sweet, even if Murakami himself didn’t seem to want to pay them much attention at the moment. His attention was instead watching penguins, a perfectly valid reason to be engrossed.
Months pass, and they have been busy, doing their work and being the absolute stars that they were. Not a moment where they could get together and relax like the family they ended up making within this circle.
So Yamazaki comes up with a plan.
“ How about we all have a sleepover? It’ll be fun!” Yamazaki chirps as they all had dinner around the table, Asahina gasping a little, a smile slowly forming on her face.
“ That sounds really fun, actually! Oooh, can we roast marshmallows?” “ Isn’t that for camping?” Yanagi questions with a confused look, Asahina shrugging.
“ Marshmallows can be for any occasion if you try hard enough! It’s only this one time after all!”
Kaneko hums, drumming his fingers on the table. “ You’re not wrong! Okay! Let’s do it!” Yamazaki cheers a little, along with Asahina, Tsuchiya, and even Fanta, who seemed to have picked up the excited energy and gave a little bark in response.
After dinner they all go to grab their pyjamas, Aoyagi grabbing basic family games for them to play whenever they felt like it, setting them up in the living room as the others start to come in, apparently very excited about hanging out in a much more loose way and relaxing.
But apparently relaxing and this group never mixed long, as not long after, Aoyagi was practically watching the most intense game of UNO, Kaneko, Yanagi, and Miyoshi all staring each other down with cards in hand, all of them putting down Draw 2 cards one after another, Yamazaki just watching them go at it for a good while before Kaneko lightly threw his hand up when he ran out, Yamazaki giving him a look of pity as Kaneko was given 24 new cards to deal with. Not that far away, Sakurada was focused on a game of Jenga with Asahina, the two joking all the while as they tried to not topple the tower.
Tsuchiya was currently playing with the dogs, the three running after a ball she threw with excited barks and paws padding along the ground. Murakami was just sitting on the couch playing a game on his phone, Aoyagi occasionally giving him looks as he pretty much didn’t join in on the festivities of family sleepover night. At the very least he seemed to be okay with being there, the man fully free to have left to go to bed at any time.
The sweet sound of blocks hitting table and Asahina letting out a sound of surprise and disappointment catches a few of the other’s attention, Sakurada getting excited and shouting, Yamazaki clapping for his friend while Asahina dramatically flops over in defeat. Misao comes over to her and barks, tail wagging curiously and getting faster when Asahina pets the dog.
“ Thank you Misao, at least someone here supports me in my loss.” Asahina mumbles, picking up the dog and plopping Misao on her chest, Misao yipping.
“ Aww, no doggy love for me?” Sakurada places a hand on his heart, pouting in jest. Fanta appears from nowhere upon seeing Sakurada look sad, clamoring onto his lap and barking. Sakurada gasps with a dramatic air, smiling and happily petting his dog. “ Never mind! I got Fanta!”
Yamazaki chuckles, only to pause as suddenly a card flies down in front of him, Yamazaki looking over to where the UNO players where, Aoyagi meeting eyes with him as Kaneko continuing to fling cards into the sky.
“ Oh hey, this is actually pretty fun! You must’ve had fun doing this, huh Murakami?” Murakami looks up from his game upon his name being called, trying to see what was going on. “ Wh- Hm? Oh, uh…. yeah! It was pretty fun holding that flame-thrower too! Fwoosh~”
“ Playing with fire is very dangerous, you’re lucky a stunt double took in for that scene!” Sakurada says, Murakami humming and going back to his game.
“ Tell Yanagi that too, he set the Beach on fire.” Murakami comments offhandedly, Sakurada looking at the taller male “ For good reason. Very hot. Good for warming up cold, cold hearts.” Yanagi picks up the closest UNO cards around him, Miyoshi helping him pick up the scattered cards. The others pick up whatever landed closest to them to hand off to the two. Asahina leaves a bit later, coming back with marshmallows and a portable cooker to roast marshmallows over the gas fire. Mmmmmm marshmallows. So a successful sleepover, even though nothing caught on fire-
“ Aoyagi your marshmallow is on fire-“
“ Oh-“
“Aaaaaand that’s all for today! Thank you for joining me today, and thank you for all of the donations, they are very appreciated.” He clapped his hands together, trying his best to read the many passing comments. “I hope maybe I can invite more of you guys to play with me next time. Bye guys!” Chan waved as he turned the stream off. He leaned back in his chair and took his headphones off, hanging them around his neck as he ran his hand through his messy blond hair.
Chan looked at the calendar hanging on the wall of the room; the next day marked his third year as a streamer. Honestly, it didn’t seem that much of a special day for him anymore. Chan found himself lacking enthusiasm with his streams with every passing day. He didn’t exactly know why he was becoming less and less invested in streaming. He loved gaming, he loved talking to his subscribers but he found himself feeling bored during streams nowadays. He had tried playing new games, but nothing seemed to fill the void he had in his heart.
He pushed himself away from his desk to allow himself room to stretch his arms and legs out. At first, he blamed it on stress, but Chan managed to set up a schedule that would allow him to finish his assignments and study with enough time to stream for at least one game of League of Legends or PUBG. Although the work was increasing, Chan was still able to stream and study comfortably - or maybe it wasn’t as comfortable as it used to be. He used the money he earned from streaming to buy himself an apartment and upgrade his crappy laptop setup into a proper desktop; dual monitors, a comfortable gaming chair, and the best CPU he could afford.
To Chan, gaming was still a hobby. He never saw it as a job because he knew that if he saw gaming as a job, he would start hating it. Thus why he never wanted to become a professional gamer despite the fact that he had the skills to join a pro team. Chan was high ranking in all the games he could play; Diamond in League of Legends, Divine in Dota 2, and Elite in PUBG. But, there was something about gaming that he could never see himself devoting his entire being to.
The fact that he was a streamer surprised no one; he was an excellent gamer. What surprised the people around  him was his choice in majoring in music composition. His parents knew he loved making music, but they never really expected him to study it. They assumed Chan was choosing a more technical major - a more gaming major. When he had come out saying he wanted to learn music and not something game related, his parents were surprised but they supported him nonetheless.
“Chris,” The door opened and Chan ended up jumping in his chair from the sudden intrusion.
“Dude, knock.” He scolded as he turned to see his flatmate poking his head into the gaming room.
“Do you wanna go to a party tonight?” Felix completely ignored the fact that he didn’t knock and left the older male to stare at him for a moment.
“Depends on whose party it is.” He shrugged as he turned back to one of his monitors.
“Minho hyung.” He stated. “He’s celebrating something and he said it’s just going to be a small gathering.” Chan took note of Felix’s smooth transition from English to Korean; he was getting more fluent as the days went by.
“Small gathering?” Chan turned to him and cocked an eyebrow. “We both know that’s a lie.” He chuckled.
“That’s what I said, but Minho hyung said he promises it’s a small gathering this time.” Felix added. Chan looked around his bedroom for a moment. He had time to spare. He finished all of his major assignments and the ones he hadn’t finished yet weren’t due until Monday.
“Sure.”
»»————-  ————-««
“Small gathering, my ass.” Chan grumbled as he tried to squeeze his way through the crowd of dancing college students while holding onto Felix’s hand so as to not lose the poor boy. The two of them managed to find Jisung sitting on the kitchen counter of the house.
“Where’s Minho hyung?” Felix questioned as he sat himself beside the performing arts major. Jisung looked around the crowded house - his house - before shrugging.
“He was here a minute ago. I knew I shouldn’t have agreed to his ‘small gathering’.” He grumbled. All he wanted to do that night was have a good time with his friends. Even though they knew Minho tended to invite more than just his friends, Jisung - along with his housemates Changbin, Jeongin and Hyunjin - still agreed to having the ‘small gathering’. “Have a drink. It’s supposed to be a fruit punch, but it either has tequila, vodka, or both.”
“What is he celebrating anyway?” Chan asked as he sat himself on the edge of the counter.
“Something about passing a test he thought he would fail…? It was really vague, I think he just wanted to have a party. It’s been a while since we actually let him have a party, so it’s understandable, I guess.” Jisung told the two. Chan looked around the crowd, finally able to spot Minho in the middle of the crowd dancing with a handful of sorority girls and frat guys that he was friends with.
“You know, when I first met Minho, I never thought he was a party guy.” Chan chuckled. “Look at him now. He’s practically friends with the entire university.”
“He’s the embodiment of a tsundere.” Felix chuckled as well as he followed his gaze. Minho locked eyes with Felix and he seemed to perk up even more as he made his way through the crowd and over to his friends.
“Hey! You guys made it!” He cheered as he hugged the both of them.
“What are we celebrating, Minho hyung?” Felix questioned when he pulled away.
“I got the job as a backup dancer!” Minho announced and his three friends immediately lit up.
“Oh my god, dude! Congratulations!” Chan cheered.
“That makes this party totally acceptable!” Jisung laughed as he finally poured himself a cup of the spiked punch. “I thought you were just bored.” He confessed.
“I told you it was something huge.” Minho shrugged as he watched them each pick up their own solo cups. To be fair, his exact words were ‘Let’s have a party. I passed the test’. “I wanted this party because I know you guys are stressed. Let loose, go wild, whatever happens, I’ll settle it, okay?” He turned more towards Chan and patted him on the back before disappearing into the crowd once again. Chan had mentioned his growing stress to Minho, so it made sense that he was directing it more to the streamer.
“I guess partying once in a while wouldn’t hurt.” Felix shrugged before he disappeared into the crowd to follow Minho. Jisung turned to Chan and they both shrugged before downing their drinks. It didn’t take long for Chan to get drunk. He was a lightweight and everyone knew that. By ten o’clock, he found himself so drunk, he could barely hold his head up as he conversed with a girl that sober Chan would know he had never met before.
“So, I guess I’m like a reeeaaaaallyyyyy good gamer.” Chan slurred as he talked to the girl, his entire Korean vocabulary slowly going out the door. “I’m diamond in League of Legends and I’m an AD carry.” He continued.
“Are you? I’m a diamond support.” You raised an eyebrow, amused by his messy mix of Korean and English. You were obviously not drunk at all, but to Chan, he could barely tell the difference due to his intoxicated state.
“I’m Chris. Some people call me Chan, some people call me Chris.” He introduced himself and extended his hand to you. You shook his hand and laughed when he stumbled out of his seat. “I can prove I’m a good AD carry.” He furrowed his brows. “These guys have a gaming room. Let’s play a game together.” He suggested.
“Sure, but it can’t be ranked. I’m not losing any LP because of you.” You joked as you followed him. He stumbled around, forcing you to let him lean on you until you reached the gaming room and sat down at two of the computers. The housemates weren’t making as much as Chan would on his own time, but they were still working enough to afford renting the house together as well as decorating it and living comfortably.
“Alright, you’re a support? Support me. Let’s lane together.” Chan mumbled out as he squinted his eyes, the alcohol making it hard for him to see or know what was going on. You simply laughed and watched as he tried to make his way around the game. You knew he wouldn’t be able to play properly, but he was cute and you weren’t going to pass up the chance to play a game with Chan.
As expected, the game was a complete failure. Chan looked like he could make out what was happening on screen and he was completely feeding the enemy team, but you simply let him, laughing as you watched him play and did your best to support him.
Throughout the game, it had somehow processed in his head that you were his best friend and he ended up being even more of a mess before. Chan’s mistake for thinking you were someone he knew, made him more comfortable and loose. "You're really pretty, support girl. I like you." He slurred.
"Thanks, Chris. You're cute, too." You chuckled, blaming his sudden affection towards a complete stranger on his intoxicated state. You watched as he slowly leaned his head against the table.
“I think I’m a bit sleepy, support girl.” He mumbled out softly. You hadn’t exactly told him your name and he resorted to calling you ‘support girl’ - which you had no problem with.
“You should rest a bit, Chris.” You told him gently.
“I don’t understand you.” He grumbled as he turned to you. Why weren’t you surprised Korean wasn’t processing in his mind?
“I’ll get your flatmate, Felix, was it? I’ll get him to bring you home.” You told him in English before leaving the game room and returning to the party downstairs to find Minho. You knew he was friends with Chan, and Minho was the only other person you knew personally. “Minho!” You called out as you pushed yourself into the centre of the living room where Minho was. He turned around to see you and he smiled.
“(Y/n)! What’s up?”
“Do you know who Felix is? Chris is upstairs and he looks like he might either pass out or throw up on your computers!” You were forced to yell due to how loud the music was.
“Felix? He’s right here!” Minho pulled Felix up from the side but the silver haired boy was pretty much as drunk as Chan was. “I don’t think he can bring Chan home, though. I’ll get someone else to take him home, don’t worry!” He reassured you, but you didn’t know how you felt about leaving Chan in the gaming room for any longer.
“Do you know where he lives? I can take them home!” You suggested and Minho eyed you for a moment.
“Why? You don’t usually care about people you don’t know.” His head cocked to the side, a smug look on his face, but you simply slapped his shoulder to get whatever idea he had out of his mind.
“If I don’t take him home now, you can say goodbye to your Razor setup!” You warned, snickering when you saw Minho’s face drop. His hands immediately pushed Felix into your arms.
“I’ll text you their address. Don’t let him throw up on my computer!” Minho yelled as he watched you pull Felix out of the crowd and to a more quiet area.
“Who are you?” Felix slurred as he looked up at you in confusion.
“I’m going to get you and Chris home. Just sit here patiently and I’ll go get Chris.” You stated as you sat him down at the foot of the stairs before quickly making your way back to the gaming room. You knew better than to let Chan throw up all over the computers and you were more scared of Minho than you’d like to admit. You stepped into the gaming room to see him on the verge of passing out; his head resting on the desk with his eyes half lidded.
“Chris, I’m taking you home.” You told him gently and he nodded as he pulled himself off of the chair, stumbling in the process. You caught him before he could fall over and he leaned himself against you.
“You’re like a real support, but you’re carrying me instead.” He snorted and you giggled. You knew Chan was adorable, but you never thought he would be this adorable. You had always seen Chan around campus whenever you were on your way to class. You were a business major, meaning you had no classes together at all. You weren’t the most extroverted person either, but somehow, Minho had pushed himself into your life when you joined the dance club.
Minho was an interesting character. He didn’t seem like the outgoing and extroverted type, but he really was one. He was friends with most of the university students and he had even managed to make friends with you; a girl who didn’t care about making friends in university and someone who just wanted to graduate so you could get on with your life.
You were also one of the many students that were aware of Chan’s streams. He was quite locally famous because of his high ranks and his enthusiasm. You were one of his viewers, but he didn’t have to know that. He also didn’t have to know that you had been harbouring a small crush on him; a crush that you were hiding from every living being on the planet.
You felt like Chan was out of your league. He was handsome, he was athletic, he was an absolute sweetheart, and he was a hell of a good gamer. You decided against trying to get to know him, scared that he would somehow discover your crush on him and would end up rejecting you. You didn’t have time for rejection. You just wanted to graduate without any unwanted events - which was why you figured it would be better that he didn’t remember your name.
“Chris! This random girl said she’s taking us home.” Felix whined out in English when he saw you dragging his flatmate down the stairs. You giggled when he did - he seemed too drunk to converse in Korean as well. Chan had also given up on trying to speak Korean, the both of them breaking out into their pure Australian accents.
“It’s okay, Felix. She’s my support.” Chan slurred, waving his hand at Felix’s whining.
“Let’s go, Felix.” You helped him stand up and fortunately, he wasn’t as drunk as Chan which meant he could actually walk on his own. Unfortunately, Chan had to lean his entire weight onto you so as to not fall and slam his face onto the ground. You guide the two out of the house, bidding Minho goodbye, and begin your journey dragging home the two drunk students back to their apartment.
Felix had caught on to the fact that Chan was calling you ‘support girl’ and that was what he was calling you as well. “Look! Support girl! There’s a puppy!” Felix announced excitedly as he ran towards the puppy. By the way he ran, you thought he had sobered up, but instead, you watched as he tripped over a bush and face planted into someone’s garden.
“Oh my god,” You grimaced. “Chris, I’m gonna set you down here. Don’t go anywhere.” You sat Chan onto the ground and he listened, but you didn’t think it was because he wanted to. You were pretty sure if he tried, he would end up being a hazard to himself as well as the world around him. You quickly made your way to Felix and helped the silver haired Aussie stand up on his feet.
“Support girl, there’s a puppy over there.” He whined and pointed in the direction of the puppy. Your eyes followed to where his finger was pointing and you had to stifle your laughter when you saw what he was pointing at.
“Felix, that’s not a puppy. It’s a rock.” You chuckled as you helped him stand. “Can you walk on your own?” You questioned warily when you saw him stumble.
“I’m fineeee. I’m not that drunk.” He nodded and started walking towards Chan. You had to conclude he couldn’t because he tripped - again. This time into Chan. The older male let out a yell when Felix fell into him and you could only shake your head in amusement as you made your way over to them. The journey back to their apartment was filled with continuous stumbling as Felix kept tripping and Chan laughing at him whenever he did.
“Support girl!” Felix called out and you stopped walking, causing Chan to stop as well since he was leaning on you. “What’s your name?” He questioned.
“If I tell you, you guys wouldn’t even remember when you wake up, so it’s okay.” You chuckled as you urged him to continue walking. He obliged.
“Hey, support girl,” He called out again and you responded with a hum. “Why is the sky blue?” Felix questioned.
“That’s a dumb question, Lix.” Chan mumbled out softly, his head against your shoulder.
“It has something to do with light.” You shrugged. Felix seemed to find the answer acceptable because he didn’t ask any more questions of the sky. Instead, he started asking about gaming.
“What games do you play, support girl?” He questioned.
“I play a few. League of Legends is my favourite, but I play PUBG and CS:GO sometimes.” You hummed out.
“Are you ranked?” Felix questioned further.
“I only play ranked in League. I’m a diamond.” You told him.
“Wow!” He exclaimed excitedly and turned around to skip towards you. “That’s such a high rank! Chris is diamond, too!” You giggled at the way his eyes sparkled with wonder as he looked at you. Alcohol really made everything more amazing to him, it seemed.
“We played a game together. That’s how I know Chris.” You explained.
“She’s really good, Felix.” Chan piped in softly. You turned to face him and you saw the way he was looking at you. The corners of his eyes were crinkled as he smiled. "We should hang out more, you’re really pretty.” He added. You felt your face heat up, a faint blush growing on your cheeks.
“You’re blushing!” Felix gasped. “Chris, she’s blushing!” He pointed out.
“She’s not blushing, Lix. She’s probably just tipsy.” Chan shook his head before leaning his head on your shoulder once again. He lifts his head for a second to see Felix trip over - yet another - rock, his entire body falling forward and hitting the concrete with a thud. Chan bellowed with laughter.
“Don’t laugh at me!” Felix whined as he picked himself off of the ground.
“Hey, we’re at your building.” You pointed out, grabbing their attention. You followed the directions that Minho had sent to you and got the two into the lift, pressing the tenth floor as per Minho’s instructions. Felix’s energy was drained in a flash. He was leaning against the walls of the lift and closed his eyes as though he was about to fall asleep. “Stay awake, Felix. We’re almost at your place.” You waved your hand in front of his face and his eyes shot open.
“Just a bit more?” He questioned and you nodded.
“Just a bit more.” The doors opened to their floor and you brought them to their apartment, pressing in the code that Minho had sent to you. The lock opened with a beep and you pulled the door open, Felix immediately making his way to his bedroom while you dragged Chan to his.
“How’d we get to my bedroom?” Chan questioned with furrowed brows as he looked around.
“I brought you here, Chris. Get some rest.” You laid him down on his bed, tucking him in gently.
“Goodnight, support girl.” He mumbled out softly as he pulled his blanket up to his chin and watched you with soft eyes. You smiled as you left his room, turning around to see him fast asleep already.
“Goodnight, Chris.” You wished softly before you left their apartment.
When Chan woke up, the first thing he noticed was the sound of what could only be Felix tripping over their living room couch. The second thing he noticed was the headache that was pounding in his skull. The night was a complete blur to him as he looked around his bedroom. Wait, how did he even get home? He couldn’t remember what happened after he was dancing with Minho. Chan pulled himself out of bed and out into the kitchen where Felix was making coffee.
“Good morning.” Felix greeted him groggily. Chan responded with a hum and sat at the counter as he rubbed his temples.
“How did we get back to our apartment?” He questioned. Felix turned around and stared at him for a moment.
“Uhh, I think someone dragged us home.” He shrugged, his mind still trying to remember exactly who brought them home.
“I feel sorry for them, then. We’re a handful when we’re drunk.” Chan chuckled. Felix laughed in agreement as he placed a mug of coffee in front of Chan.
“I hope they didn’t suffer too much.” He joked as he sat beside his flatmate. The two sat together in silence, hoping the coffee would help ease their hangovers. Chan took a quick shower after he finished his coffee before returning to his bedroom, ready to start his stream while Felix ordered take out for lunch.
“Good afternoon, morning, evening, night, whatever time it is for you guys. I’m a little bit hungover, but I’ll be able to get through today.” He greeted through the screen once his stream was on. “Today is a special day - some of you may know this - but today marks my third year since I started streaming. Whooo!” He cheered, reading a few of the comments congratulating him and cheering along with him. “For today, I’m going to play a few games, but I’ll start with PUBG. Hopefully, it’s a lucky day for me and I’ll be able to survive throughout the entire game.”
With that, Chan began his stream. His games were going smoothly. He was honestly having a great time due to his win streak. He was interrupted halfway when Felix handed him a bag of kimchi fried rice.
“This is my flatmate, everyone. His name is Felix.” Chan introduced as he spooned some rice into his mouth. Felix waved awkwardly to the camera before leaving his flatmate to return to his stream. His stream was going smoothly as he passed the second hour. It was when he saw a new friend in his League of Legends that he was suddenly hit with the memories of the night before.
“Woah,” He leaned back in his chair. Chan was hit with the memory of him trying to play League while drunk, the presence of an unknown person playing with him. “Hold on a minute, guys. I just remembered something.” He muttered out when he caught a glimpse of comments asking if he was okay. He went through his match history, seeing the defeat from the night before.
Chan looked to the comments before deciding that he should just continue with his stream before diving into trying to figure out who played with him the night before. So, he continued. He played a few games, his winning streak still blessing his gameplay, and he finished the stream feeling satisfied with his match history.
Though, he still wanted to figure out who ‘The Diamond Support’ was. He decided against giving out your account name to his viewers, not wanting random people to start sending you friend requests. He clicked on the profile and as the name implied: it was a diamond ranked support main. Chan looked through the match details. The match started at 10:30 - that meant he was still at Minho’s party since he knew that he wasn’t using his computer.
The image of him looking up at you while he felt so much adoration flashed across his mind. He remembered you dragging him home, his head on your shoulder as you tried to babysit both him and Felix. Then, Chan felt embarrassment wash over. You're really pretty, support girl. I like you. He let out a long and whiny groan as he slammed his forehead onto the desk. Why did he have to be so embarrassing when he was drunk?
Chan needed to find you. He needed to know who you were. There was something about you that was pulling him towards you, but all he had was your summoner name. You were most likely a student - Minho may be friends with everyone, but it was unlikely that he would invite a random stranger who wasn’t a student to a college party. Chan wanted to know who you were and he ended up sending you a message asking whether you were free for a game.
What Chan wasn't aware of was the fact that your cat pushed your laptop off of your desk, sending it to the ground and deeming it unusable. You weren't able to finish your assignments without using the computers at the library and you weren't able to open your League account.
Sunday rolled by and Chan was sitting in front of his desk, staring at your summoner name. There was no reply and you still weren’t coming online. He assumed you were busy. College had a habit of sucking the life and meaning out of the souls of students, and maybe you just didn’t have time to come online.
Monday came by and you had to come online eventually. Chan hoped that if he wandered around campus, he would be able to bump into you. Therefore, he dragged Felix around campus, hoping you’d cross paths.
“Dude, where are we going?” Felix questioned as they made their way to the main office.
“Something’s wrong with one of my applications.” Chan shrugged as he pushed open the door. He wasn’t exactly lying. There was something wrong with his TA application and he had to fix it at the main office. His graduation was coming up, and he decided that working as a TA for a while would be a good start to his life after studying.
“Are you sure we’re not just going to sit around and wait for that support to show up?” He cocked an eyebrow when Chan’s movements seemed to falter.
“Just wait out here. I’ll be out in a bit.” He dodged the question, gesturing to the chairs and Felix let out a sigh as he sat down. Felix looked around at the people that were going in and out of the office, his arms raising above him to and his legs stretching out in front of him. His eyes were closed until he felt something hit one of his feet and a loud thud followed.
Felix shot his eyes open to see you on the ground, the binders and files in your hands scattered all around you.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” You muttered out as you scrambled to pick them up. He immediately crouched down beside you and started to help you with the files.
“Shit, I’m so sorry.” He quickly apologised as he picked them up. You were too panicked to realise it was Felix even when he handed you a few of the binders.
“No, it’s okay. I was rushing.” You shook your hand as you took the binders. “Thank you.” You quickly thanked him before leaving. Felix was about to call out for you when he realised he didn’t know your name. As he sat back down, he couldn’t help but feel as though he had met you before - he just didn’t know when. He racked his brain to try and figure out why you were so familiar. Just as he seemed to almost touch the memory of you, Chan stepped out of the office.
“Alright, let’s head to the cafe.” Chan urged and Felix obliged, the two of them making their way out of the main office and towards the in-campus cafe. Felix couldn’t get you out of his mind. Where had he seen you? He thought about it as he walked with Chan. He honestly felt bad that he couldn’t remember you. “You okay?” Chan’s voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
“Huh?” He blinked at Chan a couple of times. “Oh, I accidentally tripped this girl at the office. She looked really familiar, but I don’t ever remember meeting her.” He simpered.
“Maybe she’s in one of your classes. You don’t exactly mingle with any of your classmates that much.” He suggested. Felix exhaled softly. Maybe you were one of his classmates. He didn’t talk to the other culinary students unless he had to. He continued to think about it silently as they approached the cafe when it hit him.
Oh fuck.
“Uh, chan hyung,” He started and Chan responded with a hum. “I think she was your support.” Chan’s movements made a halt and he slowly turned to Felix.
“Did you ask her for her name?” He questioned.
“She looked like she was in a rush.” Felix confessed softly. Chan stared at him with an unreadable expression. “I don’t even think she knew who she was bumping into!” He defended but his flatmate still didn’t reply. Felix wasn’t wrong. You were in such a rush to deliver the documents that you didn’t even realise it was Felix you had bumped into. Chan walked away from Felix wordlessly and he let out a whine in response. “Hyung! It’s not like you won’t meet her eventually. She’ll have to get onto League at some point!” He whined as he chased after his flatmate.
Felix realised after they left the cafe exactly what was going on. Chan was waiting for you to magically appear by wandering around the campus. They had visited almost every building and shop on campus when Chan decided to stop at the campus’s centre fountain.
“Chris, I don’t think she’s just going to suddenly show up.” Felix reasoned as they sat at the bench in front of the fountain. “And I know for a fact that you didn’t sleep last night.” He added. Chan let out a soft sigh.
Felix was right. Chan couldn’t sleep that night because he had an assignment due at eight a.m. on Monday. He had to pull an all nighter and only managed to sleep at nine. Even then, he got up at ten to head to the office. He was functioning on one hour of sleep, and Felix knew if he didn’t get any rest soon, Chan would most likely collapse. “Come on - if she doesn’t come online by tonight, we can ask Minho hyung if he’s ever played League with her.” He suggested and Chan nodded silently.
»»————-  ————-««
"She still hasn't said anything?" Felix questioned.
"She hasn't even come online since that night." Chan sighed and leaned back onto the couch. The two were spending their Tuesday night binge watching Brooklyn 99 because Felix wanted to help take his mind off of you.
"What are you gonna do if she doesn’t come online at all?" He glanced over at the blond male.
"I guess I'll try looking for her around campus again. She's probably friends with Minho, so maybe I could find her through him." He shrugged. Despite his inability to remember much of what happened, Chan remembered feeling so much excitement and comfort when he played with you. Even while being dragged home, he felt so safe with you by his side.
Chan met up with Minho the next day in the library, hoping that maybe his outgoing friend could help him figure who you were.
"The Diamond Support? Sorry, hyung, but I don't play League of Legends." Minho shook his head.
"Really? You don't know anyone whose summoner name is The Diamond Support?" Chan questioned and he responded with another shake of his head.
"Try asking Jeongin. He's part of the gaming club and he plays League almost every night." Minho suggested.
"Is he at the house?"
"Jeongin's with his girlfriend." He stated.
"Jeongin has a girlfriend?" Chan questioned incredulously and Minho nodded.
"She's a med student. According to him, she's going to take pediatrics." He told him.
"Makes sense. Jeongin's all about kids." He simpered. "Do you know anyone else who's in the gaming club that could help? I don’t wanna disturb him if he’s with his girlfriend." Minho let out a hum as he thought about it before he snapped his fingers.
"You could try asking Seungmin! He's part of the gaming club, too." Minho suggested. "I'm not sure what his schedule is, but he might be able to help you. He usually hangs around the park since he's always taking pictures, you could check if he's there." He added.
"Alright, thanks, Minho." Chan left the library and headed towards the park. It was understandable why all the photography students hung around the area since it always seemed to be the most photogenic spot no matter what season it was.
It didn’t take him long to find Seungmin. He was usually under the same cherry blossom tree, taking pictures of the animals around him. Chan never really knew why it was always the same tree. Whenever he would ask, Seungmin would shrug and reply with a ‘it always has the best view’. Chan never saw much difference, but he trusted that Seungmin could. He was always able to find the best places to take pictures.
Chan spotted him crouched under said tree, his camera to his face and his lens aimed towards a squirrel in front of him. Chan waited patiently - not wanting to frustrate the photography student - until the squirrel scurried up a tree and Seungmin stood up to look at the photo.
"Seungmin, can I talk to you?" He questioned. Seungmin turned around, his features lighting up and a small smile curling his lips when he realised who it was.
"What's up?" He greeted as he sat on the grass, patting the spot beside him. Chan obliged, sitting himself beside the young photography student.
"You're in the gaming club, right?" Chan started and Seungmin perked up further at the mention of his club.
“Are you finally thinking of joining the club? Hyung, if you join, we could start a team that could make it to nationals!” He exclaimed.
“No, I’m not going to join the team.” He stated and Seungmin deflated. “Do you know anyone whose summoner name is ‘The Diamond Support’ in League?” He asked.
“Never heard of them.” He shook his head. “None of the students in the gaming club has that summoner name.” Chan let out a groan as he laid down onto the grass, his head resting on a root protruding from the soil.
“I played a game of League at Minho’s party with a girl, but I was so drunk I don’t remember her name or much about her. I just remember playing with her and thinking she was really fun to hang out with.” He explained as he brought his arm over his eyes.
“Do you know what she’s majoring in?” Chan shook his head and Seungmin let out a thoughtful hum for a moment. “Then, why don’t you try asking Yunho hyung? He knows more students who play League who aren’t part of the gaming club.” He suggested. Chan lifted his arm from his face and looked at him.
“I’m going to end up running all over campus before I find her.” He sighed.
“Why do you want to find her so badly?” He questioned as he started picking up a handful of dandelions that sprouted around them as well as the fallen petals of the cherry blossom tree, scattering them on Chan’s stomach and chest.
“I don’t know why, I just can’t let her go without knowing- what are you doing?” Chan questioned. He didn’t move, but he was just watching as Seungmin kept covering him with various plants.
“Taking a picture - put your arm back over your face.” Seungmin stated as he brought his camera up to his face. He obliged and waited until he heard the click of the camera to move his arm. Seungmin pulled the camera away from himself and showed the picture to Chan who let out a pleased hum when he saw the picture. He had managed to make Chan look like he had asked a professional photographer to take a picture of him.
“Anyways,” Chan shook his head to bring his mind back. “I just remember feeling so comfortable around her. I just really want to know who she is.” He explained as he sat up, brushing off the flora from his torso.
“I think Yunho hyung might know who she is. I feel like he knows more people by their summoner names than their actual names.” Seungmin joked as he placed his camera down beside himself. “Yunho hyung spends a lot of his time at the boba cafe right outside of campus. He’s probably there right now.” He told the blond male who was starting to stand up.
“Thanks, Seungmin. I’ll think about joining the team, but I can’t guarantee that I will.” He clarified as he brushed his pants off before leaving the park to head on over to the shuttle bus.
Chan was lucky the university’s shuttle bus took them out of campus, or else he’d have to walk a whole ten minutes just to get to the cafe from the gates. He couldn't believe he was actually looking for you like this. He didn't have your number, you weren't coming online, and he seriously felt like he had no other way in trying to find you. Every time he felt like he was close to finding you, you would manage to slip past him.
Chan stepped off of the shuttle bus and made his way to the small boba cafe. As expected, Yunho was sitting at a table inside with Seonghwa and San. Yunho caught sight of Chan and immediately raised his arm up.
“Hyung! Over here!" He called, waving him over. "Seungmin told me you were looking for me." Yunho smiled as Chan approached their table.
“Yeah, I’m looking for a girl who played League of Legends with me at Minho’s party, but I only remember her summoner name.” He explained.
“I know most of the League players on this campus. What’s her summoner name?” He questioned.
“The Diamond Support.” Yunho’s face contorted in confusion at the mention of the name and he turned to San, silently asking if the name was familiar to him. The pair weren’t part of any gaming clubs, but they were among the students who spent most of their free time gaming.
“I don’t think I’ve heard of them before.” San shook his head.
“The name doesn’t sound familiar. Sorry, hyung.” He gave Chan a sorry look. Chan let out a another groan and sat himself on the empty seat beside Seonghwa.
“I messaged her on her account, but she hasn’t even come online since that night. I asked Minho, but he doesn’t play League of Legends. He told me to look for Seungmin, but Seungmin said none of the gaming club students use that name, so he told me to look for you, but if you guys don’t know who she is, then how am I supposed to find her?” He rambled on exasperatedly.
“Why do you want to find her so badly?” Seonghwa questioned.
“I don’t know, honestly.” Chan sighed out. “I just remember her dragging my drunk ass home, and I remember looking up at her and just thinking, ‘wow, she’s gorgeous’ and that I felt so comfortable around her.” He muttered out. “I remember having so much fun playing the game with her even though I was super drunk.”
“If she dragged you home, doesn’t that mean she told Minho? I doubt that you would’ve been able to even remember your address.” San pointed out.
“Yeah, have you ever seen yourself drunk, hyung? I’m pretty sure Minho hyung would’ve texted her your address.” Yunho chuckled. Chan gave him a look as he thought about it. Why didn’t he think of asking Minho whether he knew who took him home?
“Wait, were you guys at the party, too?” He questioned and the three of them nodded.
“Minho hyung invites almost everyone, hyung.” San stated.
“You were really out of it that night, hyung.” Seonghwa pointed out. “You looked like you were ready to take off your shirt and start dancing.” He snorted.
“You disappeared with a girl and I assume she’s the one you’re talking about.” Yunho added.
“Do you know who she was?” Chan shot up from his chair, the three younger students flinching when he did.
“No, but I think she’s part of the dance club. I don’t know her name, but I think it’s her.” He guessed as he took a sip of his milk tea. “I couldn’t see properly because of the flashing lights.”
“Where did they even get those lights? Minho hyung’s parties look like a club rather than a normal house party.” San chuckled.
“He bought them online without telling the others because he knew they would say no. Hyunjin was actually pretty pissed because he wanted to buy a nicer set of lights.” Chan explained softly. “Wait, so do you know anyone who knows her?” He questioned, wanting to get back to the main task at hand.
“You seriously need to ask Minho hyung. He’s the president and he knows all of the students in the dance club. Maybe he knows who the girl was.” Yunho shrugged. Chan felt like he wanted to cry. He had actually spent the past three days trying to look for you. He actually tried walking around campus on Sunday night after a nap, hoping he would bump into you. He barely ever left his apartment right after a nap.
As he left the boba cafe, he was starting to think maybe he should just give up. One more. Chan thought to himself as he made his way to Minho’s house. The sun was starting to set and he was getting tired. If he couldn’t figure out who you were, he was going to give up. He stood outside the front door to his friends’ house, raising his fist to knock on the door. Instead, the door swung open and there you were. You were flustered at his sudden appearance and you were more so when you saw how he was staring at you.
“Uhh, Minho! Chris is here.” You called into the house. Chan continued to stare at you as Minho came to the door.
“Hyung? What’s up?” Minho questioned. Chan looked between you and Minho.
“Wh- I’m- I-It’s you!” He pointed to you. “You’re The Diamond Support, right?!” He questioned. You were so shocked by his sudden appearance that it took you a moment before you realised he was asking you something and you nodded. “I’ve been trying to figure out who you were ever since Friday night.” He let out a relieved sigh.
“Oh, it was (Y/n)?” Minho turned to you. “Hyung, she brought you home. If you wanted to know who she was, you could’ve just asked who brought you home.” He stated simply as he turned back to Chan.
“I didn’t think you knew who brought me home.” Chan confessed. “I wanna play more games with you.” He blurted out as he turned to you and you were flustered from how straightforward he was being.
“W-What?” You stammered.
“Y-You wanna play a game together?” He stuttered out, his confidence seeming to falter the longer he was standing in front of you. “You’re a really good support. I somehow managed to get six kills even while I was so drunk I don’t even know how I managed to remember my password.” You blinked at him a couple times as you thought back to it.
“Oh, you only got those six kills because the enemy team was really bad.” You giggled softly.
“You were still my support, and I had a lot of fun playing with you.” Chris confessed. Minho had let himself back into the house to give the two of you privacy and you couldn’t help but feel like the whole affair was oddly endearing. Christopher Bang, the guy you had a crush on, had spent his entire day running around campus trying to figure out who you were. The guy whose stream you looked forward to whenever you had a stressful day of class, had been waiting for a reply from you for almost four days.
“Chris, I-I honestly don’t know how to react.” You said as you stared at him in shock. His expression dropped slightly, the fear of being suddenly rejected washing over him. “But, sure, I’ll play with you.” You smiled when you saw the corners of his lips lifting and his shoulders relax.
“Are you just leaving? I could walk you home.” Chan offered and you nodded as you walked down the steps with him by your side. “What were you doing here?” He questioned.
“Oh, my cat pushed my laptop off of my desk. Since it’s broken, I can’t play any games, so Jeongin invited me over to use their gaming room.” You explained.
“Your cat pushed your laptop off the desk?” He repeated and you nodded. His eyes flickered with realisation. “That’s why you didn’t come online over the weekend.” He muttered out and you nodded once again.
“I’ve had to use the computers at the library to finish my assignments and today’s the first time I actually played League since Friday. I only saw your message just now.” You hummed out. “I sent you a reply, but I wasn’t expecting you to suddenly show up at the house. If I knew you were coming, I would’ve waited for you and we could’ve played there.” You told him.
The two of you continued to walk together in a comfortable silence. You couldn’t help but think back to when you had to drag Chan home. The calming yet playful aura he let out then still seemed to surround the both of you.
“Wait, you spent the whole day running around campus to look for me?” You questioned when it hit you and you couldn’t help the guilty feeling starting to bubble in your chest.
“Yeah, but I didn’t know your name, so I was trying to find anyone who knew you by your summoner name.” His hand moved to rub the back of his neck sheepishly.
“You could’ve asked Jeongin. I play League with him all the time.” You stated. Chan stared at you for a moment.
“Jeongin was with his girlfriend and I didn’t want to bother him.” He chuckled softly. “But, I guess if I did just head on to him first, I would’ve met you earlier.”
“Maybe it was fate.” You shrugged. You weren’t one to believe in fate, but seeing the way everything for him just led to you, maybe you were supposed to end up meeting anyway.
“Are we like gaming soulmates or something?” Chan joked, causing you to breathe out a laugh.
“Maybe we are, Bang Carry Chan.” You glanced over at him when you mentioned his streamer name and his entire being seemed to light up even more.
“You watch my streams?” He questioned. You nodded and his smile widened. “I haven’t been really into my streams lately, honestly. It feels exactly like what I didn’t want to game for; a job.” He sighed.
“Well, if you try to avoid it becoming a job, it might just make you feel like it is.” You stated and Chan seemed to agree with it, his head nodding slightly.
“That night we played together was the first time I felt that excited in a really long time. It reminded me of the first time I played League.” He chuckled. Your heart skipped a beat and you turned your gaze in front of you. “I think we have good team synergy.” Chan added when you didn’t say anything. He hadn’t felt this nervous around a girl in a while, too. He was trying his best not to scare you off.
“I think we do.” You nodded, glancing over at him. “I like our synergy.” You added.
“So, whenever you’re free, do you want to play a game at the guys’ house?” Chan suggested and you nodded. You didn’t want any unwanted events, but games with Chan were more than welcome in your heart.
TOS violations by Yugioh Characters that, Unfortunately, got them Banned from Twitch.
Only two people asked for this and I have a stomach ache and can’t do much else, so here you go:
Joey Wheeler: Did a burger eating contest to try and gain subscribers. It was so many burgers that it was considered ‘bodily harm.’
Maximillion Pegasus: drawing slutty fanart of Kuribohs but as a BDSM style Princess Peach, the infamous “Kuribette.” An ill placed and somewhat poorly drawn pink scapegoat tattoo was misinterpreted as a nipple.
Mokuba Kaiba: Tried to get around an illegal gambling loophole by filming in International Waters. Honestly he would have never been caught by the police if his streaming gambling ship hadn’t been abducted by pirates (while on stream, which was a whole other violation in itself).
Noah Kaiba: Got banned for streaming the process of how to turn dogs into far superior robot dogs. Also tried to use the loophole of filming in International Waters by doing this in the basement of Mokuba’s floating casino pirate-bait ship.
Seto Kaiba: Turns out all of those space ships he said he was building were just very large and overly-complicated bongs.
(read more under the cut)
Gozaburo Kaiba: After starting a new career by purchasing Twitch, his investors banned his twitch account once his dazzling personality ruined his stock prices virtually overnight when he started hooting and hollering about putting all your sons in Orbs.
Mai Valentine: Said she was going to Murder Joey Wheeler just one too many times (it was 485 times.) To be fair, Joey Wheeler was not aware she had a Twitch Account at the time.
Yugi Muto: Took his shirt off mid-stream when phasing into Yami mode. Although he is a man, this upset so many people (just 3 people, all of which were the Kaiba brothers), that he made a 40 minute apology video and banned himself, although he was never asked to do this.
Yami Muto: After starting a successful second gaming account under Yami’s name of PHARAOH420BLAZEIT, Yami didn’t realize that when you “block” accounts it doesn’t mean you literally phase users into actual literal blocks.
Tea Gardner: Got too greedy and faked her age to get paid through an onlyfans account. Was blissfully unaware that most people use it for porn. Even when this was clearly explained to her, she doesn’t understand why that was a terrible idea.
Grandpa Solomon Muto: Destroyed public property by claiming it was lost history and trying to dig it up. It was an Arby’s. A skeleton under a very bad Arby’s. A skeleton under a very bad Arby’s that came to life and tried to rule the world. His last words on stream were “not again!”
Tristan Taylor: Stole copyrighted music like the basic bitch he is.
Duke Devlin: his makeup channel got banned after a bunch of very viscous reports that his makeup palates were not vegan like he had claimed. After searching far and wide to find the source of these rumors, he discovered that the angry redditors spreading these malevolent lies were in fat the very jealous cultists that live in Pegasus’ basement. For, as it turns out, the palates he was selling through Pegasus’ company, were made of people.
Despite that, his friends still buy the eyeliner because it freakin sticks to you like a godsdamn second skin.
Marik Ishtar: His crafting channel made Etsian crafts that not only looked exactly like a bong but were entirely bongs. But,TBH, he got banned not for the bongs themselves, but for copyright strikes for making bongs that looked waaay too much like a more popular bong maker on twitch. His bong reputation has never recovered from the shame and now he just makes glass bangles.
Ishizu Ishtar: She was just so good at poaching popular streamers’ streams, even when they tried to stream on a 30 minute delay. It was always a different game in which she would appear too--if it were a large match of PUBG, or even a small match of Among Us, there IshizuSeesYou would stand--seemingly loaded into the game before the server room would even be created. Eerily, she would always win, every time her ghostly account would appear. So, she got banned for hacking when, in fact, she never hacked--not even once.
Odion Ishtar: Odion had an excellent show of being a Minecraft streamer, up until he got banned for electrocuting himself with his own streaming equipment by accident and scarring a lot of little kids who just wanted to see him dig deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and dee.
Ryou Bakura: his generally pleasant and peaceful British-Bake-Off inspired cooking streams got banned because every lovely loaf of bread and every carefully decorated cake he made had the terrifying cross-section of a headless corpse screaming “YOU, TOO, SHALL DIE.” Not once did Ryou ever notice said cross-section, as he showed it to the camera, full of smiles and sunshine. Not once did he seem to notice his chat also screaming, their fingers turning to acid as they typed.
Yami-Bakura: After his kinder self was removed from twitch, Yami Bakura decided to do the job that his other self could not do. So he started a new account under the name BakuraSpiceAndEverythingNice but unfortunately he got too angry during a fortnight match and decided to call upon the powers of darkness to make him win. But, when someone stabbed Bakura in the game, it also stabbed him in real life, and both Twitch and Epic Games banned him before the game could finish. Ryou Bakura awoke in his gamer chair covered in gamer blood, unaware of who stabbed him or how.
Slightly-Eviler Marik Ishtar: After Marik’s cancelled crafts career, Sightly-Eviler Marik attempted to launch himself into stardom by doing lifestyle streams to launch a political career...unfortunately, he was shut down for trying to influence the American Election. More specifically, to try and put himself on the ballot for President under a third party (the Green Party, as he figured they wouldn’t bother kicking him out). It was his unwillingness to show a proper birth certificate to clear his age (which couldn’t possibly be 4000 years old), that did him in.
Bandit Keith: Got swatted and arrested by the FBI on stream for trying one too many times to make Slightly-Eviler Marik’s ill timed candidacy for President a thing. Weirdly enough, the people who swatted him? Russian bots.
Weevil: Arrested for inventing a new type of gambling called “bug fighting” while sailing in international waters on Mokuba’s ship.
Rex Raptor: Got into Dartz’ streaming house but forgot to do the laundry and was promptly kicked out. So really it was just a human decency violation, but it was enough to contractually keep him from creating another twitch account.
Dartz: Made a streaming house where everyone freakin died.
Everyone except for Freakin Rex Raptor because he couldn’t do the godsdamn laundry.
The part of Bakura that lives in Yugi’s Necklace: After Yami’s account was blocked, the part of Bakura that lives in Yugi’s Necklace decided it was up to him to make a mark on internet history, so he started a somewhat successful account called BetterLateThanNever, but it got banned once he stabbed some random guy in Fortnight and, according to the ban report--stabbed him in real life?
Midam Headcanons part 1
Michael decides to stick around on Earth with Adam. He eventually gets a seperate vessel but neither can get used to the feeling. Adam wakes up in the middle of the night, calls out to Michael in his head and panics when he realises that Michael's not there. Michael denies it but he also feels weird if he looks in the mirror and doesn't see Adam there. In the end, they share a bed and keep each other company.
Michael sleeps sometimes. Not much but he still does. When he wakes up warm and cozy with Adam's limbs tangled with his own, he fakes sleep for a few more minutes because Adam just CAN'T wake the precious, cutie angel and he knows it.
He once disabled Adam's alarm to keep him there longer. It became a habit after that and in the end, Michael the first Archangel to come to life was sent to faux the attendance sheet of an 8 a.m. Biology class by a furious, stomping teen and he buys cookie flavoured ice cream on the way back to go with his kicked puppy look that he learned from a cheesy, evening run romance series.
When Adam is sick, he is spoiled with everything he could ever want. Like a whole tour ship in his name at first. Slowly, Michael learns that a bowl of soup and a good movie with him is enough for the teen.
Adam teaches Michael that he doesn't need to buy his love and respect. They don't do that in the Milligan House. They never did. Not when Kate was still alive, not when John was around. And they never will.
Michael likes the house bare, spacy and aired out so he opens all the windows, puts vases and decorations in the drawers, shoves the throw pillows in cupboards and hides every small trinket scattered around the house. The only thing he doesn't touch is the framed pictures of Adam and himself on the shelves and tabletops.
Adam insists that Michael should do things the 'human way' so when he forgets a book or assignment Michael runs to his classes to deliver them.
Though Adam likes being spoiled with angel magic now and then. Like when Michael makes his laptop type everything on its own straight from Adam's thoughts.
Adam makes Michael try new food much like how one feeds a baby different mashes every day. So far, Michael likes carrots, strawberries, white chocolate and ice cream. He hates brocoli and pepper. He is okay with everything else.
Adam washes the dishes while Michael dries and puts them away.
Michael once put liquid dish soap on Adam's fries because he thought everything in the kitchen in colorful bottles were those sauces Adam loves.
On stormy nights, when Adam can't sleep, he asks for stories. Michael talks about all kinds of amazing stuff like the creation of the stars, how God decided which animal looked how, how angels were assigned their duties one by one, how many species that aren't known today actually existed or how dinosaurs were actually a toddler Gabe's toys which he dropped to Earth after a temper tantrum. Rarely, he talks about his home back in Heaven and his childhood with his brothers. His voice trembles a little as he remembers the old days. Especially as he talks about the most beautiful little boy ever who had pure white wings that reflected light and who was destined to bring Gods light in the universe and into everyone's hearts.
When Lucifer comes back, Adam is the first to extend a hand to him. He talks to Michael, shouts a little at some point and manages to convince him to at least hear his brother out. Because he isn't too different from that little boy Michael hides in a corner of his heart, locked and sealed away as a fragile reminder of the past. He has done things he needs to amend. But when even the God himself turns his back on them, Michael is all he has and he is all Michael has.
The two archangels make up eventually. Winchesters want to use Lucifer against God. He refuses. Thus that spare room at the back of the flat finds its owner. The first night with a storm, they hear something breaking in Lucifer's room. Turns out the sound of thunder is exactly like how God sounded on the day he fell. So Michael turns on all the lights, Adam makes hot cocoa and they marathon ATLA.
Lucifer ADORES Adam. He didn't want to admit it at first but the kid is cool. Because a) He trashtalks the Winchesters with Lucifer. b) He obviously has a leash on Michael, commander of Heaven's army and it is hilarious. c) He is actually good for Michael. He taught Michael who had turned his heart into a stone long ago how to love again. d) They are PUBG buddies.
When Gabriel returns, he is surprised enough to accuse Adam of whichcraft when he sees his two older brothers cooking Adam's favorite pancakes side by side, dueting Let It Go.
Adam buys Michael toys when he learns he didn't have any other than the wooden practise swords. Michael refuses to be treated like a baby at first but he becomes obsessed with the remote control police car with lights and sirens for two days when Adam shows him how to play with it.
They build an actual grave for Kate. Michael visits and asks for permission before he asks Adam if- maybe they could officiate the bond they have?
Other angels despise Adam at first as he stole their leader. Eventually, they learn their lesson when Michael roasts a few who tried to abduct Adam. Somewhere along the way, he befriends them too. Some just drop by randomly and Adam welcomes them on the dinner table eventhough he can't make them eat.
Lucifer doesn’t like crumpled spaces. It takes a hell lot of effort to get him to ride a car.
Michael is great at poker but loses UNO everytime.
Michael is quite funny actually. Only Adam gets his sense of humor though. They have inside jokes that no one else laughs at. It might also have something to do with Michael's shark like smile which creeps even Lucifer out.
Adam massages Michael's scalp when he has a headache from all the whinig angels.
After they defeat God Lucifer and Micheal become co-rulers of the universe.
Lucifer makes up with Jack. The nephilim is actually very alike to his eldest uncle with his eating habits and pure power. Their wings are almost the same.
Gabriel and Lucifer threaten Michael with calling Adam when he refuses something they want because Adam is almost always on their side.
In the end, Adam makes up with his own bfothers. Michael holds his hand all the way to the bunker through all the nervousty.
When Adam graduates Sam, Dean, Eileen, Castiel, Lucifer, Gabriel and Michael are on the front row clapping. He runs to Michael who in turn throws his arms around him and softy kisses him on the head.
They console some angels, demons and other creatures after God is beaten as they spent over a millenia in Hell and they want to create a better world.
Adam becomes a doctor at Kate's hospital.
It’s Playtime!
Let me get straight to the point, social gaming is an activity or game which creates a social interaction between its players. Most importantly, social gaming is a multiplayer thing. This is because it requires at least two players and above, as the name suggests, players cannot socialize in solitude (O’Neill 2019). Social gaming can be done both offline and online, as long as it creates a form of socialization. Examples of social games include card games, board games, video games, role playing games, multiplayer online games or even alternate reality games.
Moving into our digital age world, social gaming has been increasingly popular especially after the launching of social media platforms. Take for example the most popular one, Facebook. Facebook is one of the world’s biggest gaming platforms, with its top games having millions of players online each day (Agarwal 2018). Does FarmVIlle, Café World, Mafia Wars, Happy Aquarium or even Per Society ring a bell? These social games were one of the most popular ones back in 2009.
Remember Pet Society?
Tumblr media
I used to an avid fan of Pet Society, a social-network game developed by Playfish. Truth be told, I actually signed up for a Facebook account way before I was eligible to do so. I signed up when I was around 11 years old while the eligible age was 13. And why did I do so? It was because of Pet Society. Watching my elder sister play made me want to be part of the game, the society as well, and that’s how I started creating my own account and owning my own pet. I had friends that were playing as well and we would send each other gifts, visit each other’s houses and interact with each other’s pets. Besides only interacting with my Facebook friends, I could also interact with other Pet Society players via the Pet Society Café. The Café is both a store and a social bonding hub where you could buy things or visit some random player’s houses and their pets. This is where you can meet other players around the world, make and add new friends or even leave them a personal note. I remember spending a huge amount of time playing Pet Society, trying hard every day to earn coins, earn experience points, visit other pets, decorate the house, cloth the pet and etc. However, this game addiction over Pet Society came to a stop when the game officially ended in June 2013 (Maiberg 2013).
Careful with the Social Gaming Addiction
Tumblr media
Social gaming can be fun and all, but let’s face it, there’s always a flip side to everything. For the next part I will be touching on social gaming addiction and addressing how severe it can get if overlooked.
I’ll be using PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) as my example. It is multiplayer online shooting game which is very much inspired by the Hunger Games series and Battle Royale (Stuart 2018). It drops 100 players at a time into an enclosed space where they have to scavenge for weapons and other resources then try to kill each other and be the last player standing. To date, PUBG is increasingly popular and has already been downloaded over 100 million times on Google Play Store (Bhattacharya & Singh 2018). It has also been said to have crossed over to become almost a social communication channel. This is because players opt to utilize the in-app communication channel to not only communicate about things regarding the game, but also real life things that are not related to the game at all.
It may seem as a great way to socialize and interact, but it has also created severe cases of addiction and even death. A single game takes a minimum of half an hour and one could not possibly stop at just one game (How does PubG affect your life in real? 2018). It is extremely addictive and leaves the players wanting more, making them spend countless hours on the game.
There is also a case whereby a mother has blamed the death of her 13 year old son on PUBG. Her son was reportedly playing PUBG right before plunging to his death off a fourth-floor flat. He was trying to see if he could survive the fall alike that of the characters in PUBG (Cheng 2018).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All in all, I believe that social gaming, yes, it can bring positive impacts but only if it is played with moderation. Otherwise, the negative impacts are just way too scary to even imagine.
Could you tell me a bit about the egos? (Im new)
Oh, hi! Welcome! Yes, of course! Or at least I can try to...
So I’m gonna just talk about the Septics (Jacksepticeye’s egos) because those are the ones that are mainly talked about here, but if ya want me to talk about the Ipliers (Markiplier’s egos) I definitely can do that for ya!
We’ve got the main “official” egos which all have had at least one of their own videos where they’ve actually appeared in. So this would be Anti/Antisepticeye, Chase Brody, Doctor Schneeplestein, Jackieboy Man, Marvin the Magnificent, and technically Jameson Jackson I think that’s his official name (also called JJ or Dapper)
Anti is the glitchy demon guy who always sets the community on fire. His first appearance was in one of Jack’s videos when he was playing FNAF sister location. He’s got an obession with knives and murder. He wears all black and has gauges. He writes/talks in zalgo text. I personally see him as the oldest of the septics, but that’s a personal thing
Chase Brody is a like vlogger/youtuber. He was created in a video called BroAverage which Jack made as a parody of DudePerfect. There isn’t very much information that is canon for him, but he has/had a wife named Stacy and he had kids. He’s known for throwing tea bags and having a nerf gun. At the end of his video he “pretended” to shoot himself with his gun. And some people have head canons that that was an attempted suicide. He also wears a snapback that is grey and has a red skull on the front and has like a red geometric pattern on the flip side of the lid. That’s all the “official” information that we have on him or at least all that I can think of.
Doctor Schneeplestein is a doctor. That’s kinda obvious... If I remember correctly, I believe he is actually a surgeon but either way he has his own 100% real doctor certificiate. He is German and has an accent. He is a bit off his hinges but he does feel guilt over losing patients. He tried his best to save Jack during bioshock inc. Anti tries to get him to strangle himself with his headphone cord. Uhhh I can’t remember what specific video he first shows up in. I’m probably forgetting a few more things, but hopefully others can help with it.
Jackieboy Man is a superhero. He wears a red suit and a blue eye mask. I don’t think he has any official super powers, so it can vary from person to person. Umm when he appeared to play the south park the fractured butt whole, his character was trans (polygender pansexual to be specific). Cause of that there are quite a few people who head canon Jackie as being trans (myself included). He’s trying his best.
Marvin the Magnificent! He’s a magician! He appears in one of Jack’s power hour videos. (In the video) he wears a blue shirt, a black cape, and a cat mask that he decorates himself. There isn’t much about his character except that from the video he doesn’t appear very good at magic tricks. There’s a bunch of head canons floating around out there, but I’ll briefly tell ya some of mine: he almost always wears his mask because he has scars on his face around his eyes, he has severe depression and anxiety, forgets to eat or sleep if he gets too into learning a certain magic trick/spell, he has issues with self harm, intrusive thoughts, and low self esteem
Then there’s JJ. So he’s kinda a weird one. He does have his own video, but it was a video with Anti. It was the jacksepticeye silent movie video. Again there isn’t like any information for him except the fact that he doesn’t talk. He’s mute! And he dresses very well and has a mustache. So again there’s a bunch of head canons for this lovely guy too. Mine currently is that he uses sign language to communicate most of the time, but he will write stuff down as well. He teaches the other egos sign language.
The other egos that we’ve talked about on here are some “unofficial” egos. Basically they’ve never had a video and are entirely created by the community. This would include Robbie and there are quite a few others that fall into this category, but I don’t think they’ll really show up here. So I’m not gonna talk about them right now, but if they do then I will definitely let ya know!
So Robbie is the lovely purple haired striped shirt zombie! He was created entirely by the community solely from a thumbnail from, I believe, a PUBG video of Jack’s. There’s nothing canon for him at all, so this is basically just my head canons about him. He is a soft boy who cares about all the other egos. He has an attraction to animals and they surprisingly like the purple boy. Even though he is a zombie, I don’t think he rots or like smells of decay. He loves to hug and cuddle. I like to think that he stims which is part of why he loves cuddling so much because for him it is a pressure stim. He sometimes falls apart and has to be sewn back together. He is the one who normally knows when Marvin isn’t feeling well or when something is wrong with him. His speech is a bit broken because his mind is kinda like that of a child’s. He uses sign language frequently because it’s faster and easier to express his thoughts. He is terrified of being alone, so he always needs to be near at least one of the others. Overall he is a very good boy who is trying his best
I dunno if that helps at all, but I hope it does at least slightly!
21 thoughts for your 21st birthday...
1.    That you were such a cranky child until you were 2 years old. We all have stories of how you cried at sunset, at night, on flights (we used to medicate you to sleep!). You would wake up in the middle of a nap to “check who was sitting by your side”. Despite all this, you have been the MVP for all of us! We have most memories with you…
2.    That you were a gentle, loving, happy child whose first word was “Star”. Such an observant kid and knew the roads better than Google map- when Nana would turn towards Walkeshwar instead of Babulnath, you would wail and say how you wanted to go home. And the navigator be in on our way back from Cape may or anywhere!
3.    That iconic fifth “Ferrari” birthday where we all went crazy, making the decorations/invites and everything that could be made for my Hot Wheels crazy child.
4.    And the first time I ran the Half marathon- I think you must have been in Upper 1- when they asked in assembly- about whose parents ran the race and you put your hand up. That is the story I tell people every time- when they ask me why I run!
5.    And then the journey started at Cathedral. From Ms. Mani to Ms. Bhatia and the slave-driving Ms. Choksey who made me work so hard! All the teachers have always loved you and said amazing things about you on open days.
6.    All the grandparents’ days, teacher’s days and concerts that I have helped prepare for and sat through! I think of all the grandparents’ days were really special and that “Superstar” in Ms. Bhatia’s year was an all-time hit!
Tumblr media
7.    With that also came the soccer-mom days- 6 am drops and lunch in school and football drops. With me mixing up Karnataka with Goan grounds and waiting at the wrong place- to waiting endlessly at the inters school matches. What were those days! So so proud of you for being a part of the team! Like that mad Football world cup birthday you celebrated – where we got a screen to watch the Argentina vs some small team match -ordered all those pizzas with the free coupons and piled the boxes outside our house.
8.    And for me- the CCI tennis tournament- where you were ball boy - was quite a highlight- such an out-of-the-blue thing! And you were gone all days for those 7-8 days! It was wonderful!!! But the discipline and the hard work that you did for the week was amazing!
9.    That your love for geography and maps was amazing. That brought the kids national geographic to us- and then the real NG for years together. The world map which was on your room wall for the longest time- from which Sanjana did not learn a thing! Oh, what fun those quiz nights used to be!
10.  Oh, and the OBSESSION WITH Pokemon, then Clash of Clans, followed by Fifa – and now the dreadful PUBG!!!
11.  Like your friendship with Sohel and Anshul- which grew with all our trips and picnics. I feel that was like a rock during your growing up years. And the quiet one with Arnaav…truly special.
12.  Like the cool band that you were in- with a grand name “Chronic Vertigo” no less. You career as a bass guitarist really started with a bang!
Tumblr media
13.  That you participated in all the school events…from being that narrator in the school play to back stage work. From basketball to the super slow 800m. that spirit is important!
14.  And then of course came Xavier’s and the madness- of being “hipster” and whatever else. The unruly hair and beard, along with the pyjama pants and (yuck) the slippers!! Also came, the people, the place and the culture has made you the person you are today. Intelligent, independent and a free thinker. Full credit to you for getting in post you ICSE. You had a goal…you made it.
15.  That you maintained your hobbies along with you academics…writing, movie making, music, photography, blogging, some sports, is commendable.
16.  That you took part enthusiastically in the events that interested you- and it has made me proud to see you organising and leading them- from Malhar, OSS, the midnight cycling to the random music shows that you volunteered for! It showed your responsible side (which has always been there) and that you could take initiative.
17.  Your experiments in college with “Robber Barons”, taking on the various teachers for values that you believed in and the things that rankled you which you stood up for. This shows integrity and self-confidence. This college has prepared you to step into the real world and given you your first job opportunity. And I would like to take this opportunity to tell you the last 4 things- for your future.
Tumblr media
18.  Ketu and I will always be with you wherever you are. And super proud of the way you have grown up and led your life.
19.  Breakfast is THE most important meal- so eat well. Eat heathy and eat a lot. Morning is the time when your brain needs to wake up, it needs food to function.
20.  Sleep is very important as the body needs to rest and recover for the next day. 8 hours at least. Tire the body with exercise, calm the mind with prayer (or an app!!), silence the thoughts.
21.   Trust yourself.  Have faith. You are smarter than you think you are. Your upbringing will make you pick wisely when you don’t know the path.
            It is ok to not know, believe in your instinct.
           Go with confidence.
            It is ok to be afraid, life is just one big improvisation.
           Give it your all.
           Dare to be all that you can be.
INSPIRATION: soho’s performative inspiration, as given to the mcs who ask for such information, is that she was just the biggest fan of Diamant and Royal-T and Clover and as a result had been inspired to audition for KJH after only a few months of dance training, hoping charisma could carry her through. SPECIAL TALENTS:
instrumental- she can play and compose on the piano, as well as production abilities on various synthesizers. she has a talent for quickly transposing music across keys, which is almost never useful in her daily idol life. she is most proficient with the piano though she once attempted to learn guitar (she lost interest quickly) and more specifically these days in terms of the keyboard and style-adjacent synthesizers.
jingle creation- she can make a quick and catchy jingle for almost anything, and often spends her time narrating her life via song unintentionally and inadvertently, much to the chagrin of those around her.  she will occasionally produce these into snippets uploaded on soundcloud. her most “successful” of these was an 8-bit midi-filled jingle about the blessing that is milk tea.
PUBG and fortnite dances - she is exceptionally skilled at performing dances from the popular games, for better or for worse, and is more than happy to break this talent out on camera. whether her group-mates want for her to do this or not.
NOTABLE FACTS:
soho is skilled in musical composition and arrangements and has dabbled in a various instruments. she is more proficient with the piano than the guitar, these days, as she’s largely relied on the latter as she moves into beat-making and production. her specializations (electropop, lofi, and related remixes) are thoroughly non-marketable in the mainstream.
soho is a social media guru, with an established presence on youtube, soundcloud, and an active twitter/instagram outreach. she is active as well on Vlive on a regular basis. she does reviews of producing equipment, reviews of instruments, covers, “let’s play” style videos, and various vlogs/live broadcasts. This began during the ending days of vixen and continued through her hiatus (intermittently). it was put on pause until 2017, when 99 entertainment began allowing her more public opportunities.
soho debuted at 16 under KJH’s girl group Vixen, as the lead dancer and lead vocalist. she faced a rather significant scandal which was (mercifully enough) quickly eclipsed by the huge scandal that plagued the main rapper of the group, eventually leading to the disbanding of the group entirely. she was a fresh 19 at the time. In the following months, she began training with 99 Ent.
IDOL GOALS
SHORT-TERM GOALS:
without the group of celeste, without the support of her company, soho has very little claim to fame. she functions best as part of a group musically, and has no illusions otherwise.  perhaps surprisingly, as a girl eagerly and actively producing music, she is fully disinterested in pursuing a serious career as a solo musician, in the realm of one managed by her company. the music she produces is not public friendly and is in essence a passion project, and she has no interest in having to compromise that to become marketable, performable, or so on. she’d consider djing or working on soundtracks, or even simply continuing to put out content on soundcloud or youtube to scratch that creative itch.
LONG-TERM GOALS:
soho is all about the long game, putting together bits and pieces,  to build an empire, a cult of personality. by diversifying across platform, she’s building a niche, marketing herself in a way few others are attempting. she hopes to establish herself as a personality foremost, rather than pinning herself to a particular talent. she has made strides in acting, largely in niche productions which she intends to continue, and has made more significant progress in hosting. she would love, truthfully, to have a radio show of her own, to continue entertaining via vlogs, sketch comedy, and other media on her youtube channel, and to establish herself as a personal brand capable of remaining self sustaining.
IDOL IMAGE
“it’s all about those eyes,” they told her as they prepared her styling for debut. the image board was decorated in pictures of bob cuts, wispy bangs, lavenders and whites and grays. soft colors for a soft girl, a honeyed blonde  color for her hair. “you’re like bambi, just look at you,” they’d said. it had been carefully followed with, “just keep your mouth shut.” see, here’s the catch. bae soho is all personality. she’s all charisma, all charm. now, granted, she’s not entirely untalented. granted, it’s not a natural talent that she has, for dance or for vocals. but she’s been training for years, had been thirteen when kjh picked her up and she’d been active as an idol since sixteen. she had to have made some improvements over time for that, or else she’d have been just plain lazy. and bae soho is anything but lazy. truthfully, soho has an easy nature to her, bright and charming and just weird enough to make her utterly approachable. some of the girls in the group are pretty to the point of blinding, stunning to the point of awe inspiring. soho isn’t ugly by any stretch (is any idol?) but there is a softness, a cuteness to her appeal that makes her, ultimately, seem just on the edge of attainable. it helps that she is a self professed nerd, that she’ll wander down tangential fields of though, or make a truly terrible pun that kills the mood dead in the water. she’s halfway between quirky and downright odd, a comfortable niche of different but not alienating. she’d be an easy choice to speak up on shows. and yet - silence is the name of the game at first. shut lips, smiling eyes, charming reactions.
there is, of course, a reason for the silence.
this isn’t soho’s first rodeo. she’s done the variety bit. she’s been on stage. she spent three years as remi of vixen, with a very different image. dark dyed hair and black rimmed eyes, fierce expressions and a fiery sweetness and spunkiness to nod towards her age, she debuted at sixteen. and by nineteen it was over. the video leak had been the first blow, hastily written off as a lookalike, but the main rapper’s indiscretions shortly thereafter had been the nail in the coffin.
so her move into 99 entertainment had been predicated on a drastic change in image, promotional name, and appearance. she sheds her natural hair color, the characteristic long, straight lengths of it, even the stage name the world knew her by. reinvented, she is soho now, with soft honey blond hair and big bambi eyes,  and she is quiet and sweet and just a little bit silly, a little bit cheeky. a surprising dash of innocence and insight peppered here and there. they need her to wait. bide her time. and she does.
not completely silently, of course, but she waits. she records songs she saves for a dormant soundcloud. she does the occasional youtube video, and her outreach on twitter and instagram is,  at least, largely unrestricted. fans adore her for her quick wit and how rapidly she picks up on and proliferates the memes and in jokes of the fandom, growing a reputation for having a secret stan account somewhere. to them she’s relatable, attainable, not a distant fairy princess but a sweet girl in shimmering blush colors.
and with time, this changes too.
with time, they give her freedom, inch by inch. she grows her hair out long once more. the image they impose on the group shifts and with it soho pivots, as any good idol, any good actress must. she laters quirk and cuteness onto the sex appeal, a lovely charm to offset the lurid twists. she begins to open up more on variety - or rather, to let out more of what’s been lurking beneath the surface, that poorly restrained oddness and appeal. bit by bit, she’s allowed to flourish, to shine, once more, as years of distance grow between her and vixen’s remi, now but a figment in the distance. (except - she wakes in a cold  sweat, every so often. except - she still checks her name on portal sites obsessively. except - she still feels ill at ease in her own skin, under the scrutiny of others when she’s descended from the stage and from the brilliant lights that protect and obscure.) she’s ethereal, surreal, she’s creepy, she’s cute. she’s sexy, in the way of shadows and mystery and the promise of the unknown. bambi eyes become haunting, sparkle with playful knowing instead of sweetness and innocence.
it becomes wrapped into her image. bae soho, your soft goth girlfriend. bae soho, your weird gamer girl next door, who can put away a pizza in record time and still look cute doing it. bae soho, who writes songs that sound like nintendo lofi remixes. bae soho, with shelves full of books from horror manga to russian classics. bae soho,  who you can never quite pin down. bae soho, who runs the gamut from a smooth honey voice on a radio show to tongue in cheek sketch comedy produced for her youtube channel.
she doesn’t mind the shift in concept. feels like she’s done it all now, from girl crush to angelic school girl innocence to playful sexy to straight up sexy. she can handle it, she figures. she intends to transcend image. celeste is her bread and butter, her lifeblood, but it’s also the means to an end. she’s in no way musically infatuated and the loyalty she feels to the group is more practical than loving. without celeste she has no platform. with celeste she has a springboard, a cache, a growing brand reputation that will put her on the map. she has the resources and the freedom to pursue the music she does care about as a pure passion project, to create the sketches and vlogs and gaming content she desires with professional aide, and the connections to make her way in the industry in a way she’d never be able to do on her own, as a soloist, or in a smaller company. she’s been on the otherside of the looking glass, languishing as a nugu and struggling for footing, and while they may not have had a first win they’re not exactly in the pits, so she’ll take it. any step forward is a step up.
and bae soho is aiming for the stars.
IDOL HISTORY
the stars do not fortel her coming in the literal sense, but her mother has a pregnancy dream, the kind old grandmothers will say is prophetic, a dream of the milky way in the sky overhead, a dream of laying on her back on the hillside of her hometown out in the countryside, long since left behind. a dream of the inky blackness over head and a sense of something both ominous and promising. to soho this sounds more like a stress dream than anything else, but she also enjoys the idea that her mother knew, even as she was unborn, that soho herself would be some eldritch horror, some mystical being.
she isn’t, of course. soho is a normal baby, albeit on the cuter side. she grows into a relatively normal toddler as well, precocious and strange as most toddlers are, with an apparent lack of fear that alarmed her more timid mother. nothing phased soho, not the dark, not needles, not snakes nor spiders. at the influence of her older brothers, she spent as much time tramping around in the muddy fields around their house as she did inside, and when inside her mind roamed the hills and mountains in flights of fancy.
she was a whimsical child, bound up in impossibilities, in hopes, in daydreams and mysticism. easily influenced by whatever media she consumed, the girl voraciously wrapped herself into fantasy worlds, books and television and movies the most common culprits. but with the dawn of the video game era, the bae household was filled with the enthusiastic shrieks of over-excited children, crowded around a controller- lost in hyrule or the johto region or any number of other pixelated universes filled with magic, mystery, and lore.
the games quickly revealed many things about soho: she was fanciful and flighty, she was obsessive, she was sneaky and scheming, she was a perfectionist. and above all else, she was yearning, a desperation to reach out to something other than the world around her. she wanted the promise of more that came from such worlds, from fantasies and dreams. she wanted to be the chosen one, wielding a special blade or never-before-seen magical powers. head firmly lodged in the clouds, she was able to ignore, for quite some time, the unravelling of their lives.
you see the bae family had hit dire financial straits, and slowly the wear and tear of it began to show in the falling apart bandaid fixes on the plumbing, the windows, the wallpapering of their home. her father became a ghost, drifting in and out of the house too early, too late, barely heard from nor seen.
eventually relocation was in order, and they were forced to leave their little world behind. moving from the countryside of gyeonggi to the heart of seoul was tumultuous to say the least, and relocating from a more spacious (albeit falling apart old) home to a cramped villa apartment was almost impossible. for a girl born to run and explore the energy she was left with in this pent up, new lifestyle had her acting out in more ways than one. her performance at school suffered as she moved into middle school and she had a number of behavioral problems. in the hope of mitigating this and expending some of her energy (and getting her out of the house) her parents scraped up the money to put her in dance classes, which she had expressed some interest in prior.
by the time she was thirteen, she was auditioning for her first entertainment companies.
kjh was the first to offer her a contract, and while she initially thought to hold out to audition with the bigger names first, she found promise in how readily they accepted her in with open arms, talking of a new sort of image, a powerful and hard hitting concept that would make even jinx look weak. she liked the sound of that - she wanted that kind of power, wanted to immerse herself in the fantasy of the rich and famous, and so she begged her parents to okay the trainee contract.
debuting only three years later was, at the time, a blessing. vixen wasn’t the most popular right out of the gate, but soho knew they had promise. potential. as their main rapper greedily grabbed up attention for herself, soho knew in her heart she herself would win the world over if she were just given a chance, and set out to make that a possibility - at any cost, by any means.
overtime it worked, gradually picking up attention, mostly for her maturing visuals and for her natural charisma, more so than anything else, but she wasn’t picky. landing a role on the breakout show heroes certainly came to her aid, and she was experiencing a modest upswing in her popularity, slowly growing her career.
and then the video leaked.
she knew she was ruined.
she had to be.
a video like that, pictures like that, suggestive to the extreme. did it matter if it was her or not? the public was certain, and her name was finally rocketing up the search engines. barely past her nineteenth birthday everything was falling apart.
and then, it all got worse.
when the scandal of their main rapper broke, her first reaction was “at least i didn’t try to blackmail anyone” - there was a sort of comfort in the mutual destruction of it. at least they were both fucking up. at least her scandal was being overshadowed. as more and more details came out, as it went to a trial, as the company brought them in to disband them, she watched her carefully crafted fantasy fall apart around her.
she fragmented. left to live with her parents, in that just-barely-better apartment she’d managed to buy for them with the next-to-nothing she’d earned (it was easy to upgrade them from almost nothing to barely something, even on the shoestring budget of a rookie idol).  she was twenty years old and knew herself to be an abject failure, truly and completely.
it wasn’t until they begged her into at least getting back into dance that she slowly woke back up, became herself again. she had little interest in dancing, these days, but being surrounded by music at least helped. and when a scout from 99 reached out to her, she even considered it.
eventually, she accepted the offer. she had to put the past behind her. she had to try again. training all over again was an exercise in humiliation, and she knew all too well what was said about her in whispers, behind her back. and strangely, it helped, inured her to the criticisms, created in her a brazen and bullheaded spirit of competition and obsessive drive that earned her a spot in the debuting group.
bae soho was reimagined in the image of the new group. fairylike innocence was the name of the game, and for a girl with pretty, fair skin and big bambi eyes, that was easy enough to pull off. a golden blonde hue was designated for her hair and blush, peachy pinks became her signature. it was hardly something she minded, the freshness of it all, but it felt like aging backwards, to go from long teal and black hair and thick liner, combat boots and fishnets to all of this frill and silk. but then, that was half the point of her little makeover. to erase the sins of remi and relegate them to obscurity, to present soho as a pretty, new package to be parceled out and consumed. safe and sweet.  be a rookie again, be bashful and eager at once, be bright and charming and also, you know, quiet. be quiet. stand back a little.
she does.
and in time she blossoms. in time the past fades, along with the memory of vixen, replaced in the eyes of the public by a thousand other girls, a hundred other scandals, myriad contenders for the attention of  the multitudes. and as vixen and remi are forgotten, soho is given room to rise. it begins slow at first, lifting her twitter and instagram bans. and she takes to them like a fish to water, scours the fancafes and the tags and the fan accounts. likes memes and leaves comments and makes post after post. she becomes relatable, a presence that they can understand, quirky and a little odd, in an endearing way. she tells offbeat stories and lets the members share her embarrassing truths, like how she once ate only kimchi jigae for a solid month, from the same restaurant. they talk about her video gaming obsession and her propensity to sacrifice sleep for more hours scrolling aimless on the internet.
next, they let her begin using youtube. they give her the resources first for simple things, vlogs. she takes fans into the daily life of members, shows them snippets of life backstage, of waiting room antics, of the wall sized bookshelf filled with novels and manga in her room. she introduces them to the row of succulents on her windowsill and laments her failed attempt to grow daisies. in time, the company allocates her greater resources. she does more now, faux interviews and staged cooking shows, soft prank videos on the girls and hidden cameras, she graduates gradually to sketches, comedy bits, reviews of games, let’s plays, and streams.
the last step is letting her take her soundcloud back, and she begins to put up her silly jingles first, because the humor is relatable. moves into the wordless lo-fi video game-esque tracks next, with titles that tell stories and album art she’s drawn herself, pixel perfect, fantastical, whimsical, a little surreal.
they let her back onto tv. she picks up a few guest roles here and there, she drops a commercial for a video game where she gets to be made into a character and cosplays to her heart’s content.there’s even a webdrama after awhile, about girl’s in a gaming company, because 99 has come to see that allowing her to lean into this nerdy cutie sexy girl angle is only going to help them out, hit a niche market far removed from anyone who might be inclined to bring up certain youthful indiscretions. as the group matures, her career itself grows, her opportunities rise. she picks up more  lines, bit by bit. her practice begins to pay off.
she’s always been a performer but she’s becoming an entertainer, someone known for an ability to smooth the way between segments, a bright spot in the shows she heads onto. she’s becoming someone considered competent enough, at least, even if most of the attention is on her pretty face, her unexpected expressions, on the instagram video of pubg dances that goes viral. there’s a reversal charm to a girl like her being such an odd duckling, and 99 is content to milk it for now, to see how far the strangeness of bae soho will take them.
