Narciso Rodriguez family portrait. I bought the black bottle for myself over a decade ago and it’s half full. I actually can’t wear it without turning into a different person so I don’t really go there anymore. Then I worked with someone who wore it and I loved it on her. And I could smell it without wearing it so that was nice. It helped that she was a gem of a person too, so this scent reminds me of her, but also of myself. An unusual one from my collection, at least for me: @ateliercologne Musc Imperial, a perfume that I rarely spray on myself, but I've used it as room spray, handbag spray, linen spray and the like, because I love the smell of it but I just don't want it following me around all day. Musc Imperial feels masculine-leaning to me because it has a classic cedar and musk drydown. It's so serious, like a desk job, or a traditional suit with no fun tie, or cuff inks, or hidden patterns. It's a job interview, an exit meeting with HR, an application for a promotion. It's also staying late and getting the job done. Cozy vibes with @zoologistperfumes Camel. I am going through my 10ml pretty quickly and enjoy this scent so much. Don't be put off by the name. It doesn't smell like a camel, more like where the camel is taking you to. Maybe a sunset gathering in the desert, to sit on a blanket, eat date cake with your friends, feel the warmth inside and out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's getting cooler here day by day, but we've had the longest fall I've ever experienced in all the time I've been in Calgary.
