Wait, you’re telling me Laventon had a Pride unicorn in his pocket this entire time and never said anything about it?

Lmaoooo wouldn't that be so funny tho like I was writing a whole fic about it but essentially the HC/concept was he has a galarian rapidash that he got as a ponyta but evolved at some point and is WAY too high a level to actually listen to him(a la Ash's Charizard) and he doesn't battle so that never changes and thus he mostly leaves her at the pastures cuz he doesn't want her to have to stay in her pokeball all the time BUT if she hangs out with him she just makes his life hell for fun 24/7(which is also why I gave her the name Persephone bcs I like pokemon who have nicknames and that's just too fitting imo)

(It does have a happy ending involving a pokemon battle I keep failing to write cuz that's hard and the confirmation that while Persephone is a jerk and Laventon does act like he's Done With Her all the time they do love each other and find a way to coexist <3)

Oh ALSO cuz I'm a sap in the Dadventon AU(spoilers I guess??)

I was going to have Persephone evolve when Akari is hurt(way more hurt than a galarian ponyta could heal on their own since apparently they can do that??) and Laventon needs to get her help asap but is a few hours out from any town/village. Rapidash can apparently clear entire regions in hours cuz they run so fast and it was a a great way to add to the feels of the whole thing cuz Persephone loves Akari as well as a way to get Persephone evolved and add the eventual comedy of her being a jerk to Laventon into the fic, and tbh I'm just a sucker for those "person's pokemon evolves to help them in a high stakes situation" stories uwu

Hey hi hello I'm probably gonna do a lil series of posts talking about what my gym teams would be.

Keep in mind; I'm doing a 6 team all fully fleshed out kind of thing. Think in terms of like hey if I was doing rematches or had official league business or if the gyms ever came like that which would be Dope tbh. And also because my boyfriend and some of our friends are making them so we can battle each other.

The first one I'm gonna talk about is what I would most naturally have and what I consider my official gym team for what I have planned.

For am I the Fairy Queen of my group.

My gym would be Witch themed and look like a very fanciful witches hut in a forrest in springtime, probably at night though. It would also host some cool Fairy type lore scattered around and the gym contestants would have to fight various trainers to collect ingredients for a good luck potion of some kind!

It also would be a version exclusive in the game with its counter part being an ice gym run by my bestie @icychill. Our Ninetales are girlfriends btw.

My team, as shown in its full capacity, would be Alolan Ninetales, Hatterene, Mimikyu, Florges and Sylveon and a Fairy Tera Type Absol for my aces. Trainers would probably fight me as a four pokemon gym later in the game with using Sylveon, Absol, Mimikyu and Hatterene.

Yall are very luck I didn't put Jareth my Galarian Rapidash on here he is mean he bites people, he causes problems on purpose and he's absolutely terrifying battle wise I am actually proud. Actually scratch that Jareth is the gate keeper he decides if you should get to challenge me or not.

Now for movesets and details

Reina the Alolan Ninetales (F)

Movepool: Aurora Veil, Ice Beam, Dazzling Gleam and Grudge.

Shy but protective. Has a hoard of wooden spoons hiding in her area to mix potions or steam pots with. Eats poffins like it's the end of the world.

Persephone the Florges (F)

Movepool: Petal Dance, Misty Terrain, Moonblast and Draining Kiss.

Gathers the best ingredients and is a picky eater. Just wants to chill and be admired. Really good with the younger trainers that comes in!!

Amaranth the Hatterene (F)

Movepool: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam and Life Dew.

Mean but not as mean as Jareth. Has a witch's cackle and just wants to be left alone to sleep and watch soap operas.

Stitches the Mimikyu (M)

Movepool: Hone Claws, Play Rough, Will-O-Wisp and Shadow Claw.

God of chaos and arson. But plays innocent and looks like a babey. Is only calmed with cuddles.

Mavis the Sylveon (M)

Movepool: Return, Moonblast, Hyper Voice and Hyper Beam.

Specifically a Pixelate Sylveon get rekt.

The actual baby of the family. Spoiled rotten. Just wants to be petted and given fancy snacks and can usually be found buried under 50 blankets. Loves contests.

Angel the Absol (F)

Movepool: Swords Dance, Night Slash, Play Rough and Air Slash.

The tired mom of the group. Constantly carting everyone out to actually participate in gym battles. Namely Mavis, and those two are inseparable. Guardian of the city the gym is located in and helps those that get lost.

LO Characters as Pokemon Trainers: Artemis and her family

Here is why Apollo and Artemis were not in the previous blog. As I learned Leto would arrive and wanted to put the family togerher. As Artemis a devisive character I am giving her two teams. One based on her current state of being gaslit by her family. The Secound based on the person I hope she will be by the end of LO. AKA one who cuts out the toxic members of her family and helps Persephone. The secound is just based on where I hope Artemis ends up by the LO. Its pure fanfiction thus no spoilers here. Enough talk of Artemis, lets start with her family begining her scary mother, the titaness Leto.

Leto

Leto is titan, thus gets a legendary. The tapus look nice, but cause destruction so I think its fitting she have on. Specfically Tapu Lele as its psychic type like many of her pokemon. Blazieken is a rooster, one of her symbols. Malamar is her secrect ace and is the ace of another villianess mistress. Mastermind pokemon belong to mastermind trainers. Chansey as she is the goddess of motherhood. Lunatone because the crescent moon is Leto's symbol. Alolan Persian because Leto is a dark reflection of Hera. Her Exeggutor represent a her symbol the palm tree. It was a gift from her son, Apollo.

Apollo

Apollo is the god of the arts so most of his pokemon are music related. His pokemon includes Kricketune, Rillaboom, Jigglypuff, Obstagoon. He has an Alolan Ratata as he is the god of plagues. He had a Smeargle, but it fled after Apollo wanted it to paint some of the images from Apollo's phone. Many think Psyche's Smeargle is actually Apollo's that fled as it tends to hide when he is around. He also has a Solrock like Astreas its just not on his team. As Apollo considers the pokemon to weak for his taste. Lastly he has a male Unfezant the male counter to his sister's Unfezant.

Artemis Now

Artemis's team is based mainly on her role as a goddess of the hunt. Her ace is her Decidueye, Archer has been best friend ever since he was given to her as Rowlet by Athena. She has a female Unfezant who is the counterpart to her brother's male Unfezant. Her Chansey is the daughter of her mother's chansey. Her Exeggcutor was a gift from her mother who made her use it on her team. Although people say it only obeys its true master, Leto. Her Teddiursa is a constance companion was found as a orphan. Her Sawsbuck, Swift, was a "gift" from Demeter to Artemis. It should be noted that Demeter was not initially assciated with Sawsbuck or its preevolution Deerling. As they have always been sacred and thus associated to Artemis thanks to the Actaeon myth. Demeter just blessed the pokemon and its line thus giving it the Grass type. The buck was originally Artemis, but Demeter asked if she could have, Artemis gave to Demeter. As you don't refuse Demeter who later returned it to Artemis with a new form and added type. Note this is not the Sawsbuck that was once a man named Actaeon who spied on Artemis which led to her turning him into a Sawsbuck. Upon which he taken down by his dog pokemon. The dog Pokemon that used in his fate remains unknown. It should be noted that is Swift actually gold in color compared to normal Sawsbuck which a brown. Swift along with a golden Stantler named Prancer pull Artemis' chariet. Her cat Retsina, is a Delcatty is too lazy thus stays home.

Artemis in the Future

For the most part her remains the same with Decidueye still being her ace. Sawsbuck and Teddiursa also remain on her team. Although her Teddiursa has since evolved into Ursaring. The parts of her team that changed were those that connected her to brother, Apollo, and her mother Leto. As their actions made her want to get rid of anything that tied her to them. Her Unfezant while loved by her was released in order to furthur cement her severed ties with Apollo. Most people think it went to its sibling owned by Apollo. Where its currently causing chaos by wrecking his stuff. She also gave her Chansey to Hestia to help her heal injured pokemon and to furthur distance herself from Apollo and Leto. In their place she now has Glarian Rapidash, Atalanta a gift from Persephone. Atlanta helps Artemis in helping girls escape from those who wish to do them harm. An Umbreon named Twilight a gift from Hades who found the thing in poor shaped after being abused by its past trainer. The old trainer is currently be punished in Tartarus. Twilight and Artemis are extremly close due to the past history of abuse. It should be noted that Hades gave Twilight to Artemis as Eevee which later evolved into an Umbreon while the two were hunting. Her Talonflame, Huntress was given to her by Hestia as a Fletchling. She just recently decided to put it on her team.

Persephone: How different are you and your f/o(s)? How do you deal with each other’s differences?

You know, Hippolyta and Meg seem very different at first, but I think deep down they’re more alike than different. Even despite meeting as enemies, they’re very quickly ready to have some nectar together in the lounge and talk some crap about whoever. I think the similarities deep down made them bond fast.

Thanatos: Do you and your f/o(s) ever play games together? Which ones? Do you tend to be cooperative or competitive?

Hippolyta probably ropes Meg into trying Smash with her, and they both get super competitive. Hippolyta plays Ike (and makes a joke about Zagreus) or maybe Byleth, and Meg tends towards Shulk. I also really think the idea of them playing Pokémon is really cute? Hippolyta and her Rapidashes, and Meg and her dark and ghost types. They’d be a formidable team.

Pokémon teams, is what I was thinking about

Oh, okay. Hmm... in that case, here’s what I got (so far):

-Carina’s team would consist of Combusken, Rapidash, Flareon, Raichu, Corphish, and Pidgeot

-Sera’s team would consist of Dratini, Lopunny, Eevee, Luxray, Kingdra, and Togekiss

-Saphira’s team would consist of Ninetales (Alolan variant), Purrloin, Espeon, Pachirisu, Frosslass, and Altaria

-Tetra’s team would consist of Ampharos, Skarmory, Scizor, Porygon-Z, Jolteon, and Phione

-Iris’ team would consist of Marill, Swanna, Vaporeon, Masquerain, Goodra, and Squirtle

-Matty’s team would consist of Wigglytuff, Umbreon, Salazzle, Noivern, Lumineon, and Chatot

-Persephone’s team would consist of Ariados, Beautifly, Leafeon, Politoed, Banette, and Hawlucha

-Lilly’s team would consist of Clefable, Sylveon, Rufflet, Lilipup, Ribombee, and Mimikyu

-Elsa’s team would consist of Glaceon, Sableye, Absol, Volcarona, Murkrow, and Deino
