The exhibition's description:

"Delirious times demand delirious art, or so this exhibition proposes. The years between 1950 and 1980 were beset by upheaval. Around the globe, military conflict proliferated and social and political unrest flared. Disenchantment with an oppressive rationalism mounted, as did a corollary interest in fantastic, hallucinatory experiences. Artists responded to these developments by incorporating absurdity, disorder, nonsense, disorientation, and repetition into their work. In the process, they destabilize space and perception, give form to extreme mental, emotional, and physical states, and derange otherwise logical structures and techniques. Delirious explores the embrace of irrationality among American, Latin American, and European artists."

Featured artists included Philip Guston, Eva Hesse, Yayoi Kusama, Sol LeWitt, Darcílio Lima, Lee Lozano, Ana Mendieta, Claes Oldenburg, Carolee Schneemann, and Nancy Spero.

En el siglo xii se redacta en Santiago de Compostela el llamado Privilegio de los Votos, que atribuye al rey Ramiro I una victoria frente a los moros en Clavijo en 844, victoria obtenida gracias a una aparición de Santiago.

Agradecido, el rey habría hecho el voto de que todos los habitantes pagasen al Apóstol, o sea a su santuario, una cantidad anual. Según este mismo documento, la victoria en Clavijo puso fin a la entrega anual a los enemigos de un vergonzoso tributo de cien vírgenes cristianas. La primera representación de Santiago a caballo, de principios del siglo xiii en la catedral compostelana, muestra las doncellas arrodilladas ante el caballo de Santiago.

El miles Christi medieval, imagen poco frecuente, se convierte a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo xv y a lo largo del siglo xvi en Santiago Matamoros, defensor del catolicismo frente a todos sus enemigos: los moros, los herejes y los paganos, cuyos cuerpos o cabezas ruedan entre las patas de su caballo.

They fought alongside Velestinia and Croavia during the Jangeunseom War. The war believed to have began when Maedeob Dynasty’s independent colony Jangeunseom attacked Casmanian, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Bigican and Croavian cargo ships. Confederate Prime Minister Forrest Humpler issued a declaration of war. Yuan Empire and Maedeob Dynasty fearing of an invasion, decided to back out and leave the colony on their own. Confederate forces arrived at the northern part of the island in June 14, 2024 with the aid of Corporate Group coup plotters. The war lasted for 4 years until the surrender of Jangeunseom to coalition forces in April 16, 2028. East Asia would itself being invaded decades later.
