Someone can finish the math equation eventually You could probably print out a skeleton picture, Cut it out with scissors, And make it walk like me, And then cut out the cancer, And realize all the areas I needed a doctor to work on, For me to feel better, Were in front of you the whole time. Yeah
I hope you hand the next one the potion early, The cure you keep hidden in the pocket at the back of your training manuals, So she doesn't wake up one day and realize it's too late "My bra clip is just another impact gun"
Tumblr media
"My bra clip is just another impact gun" The crushed shoulder blade bone is sending fragements that feels like icicles from my back to the middle of my right nipple. How am I doing Am I self-harming myself or are you harming me by not shutting down a hospital emerg until they provide me with some imaging, physio therapy, and shiv, a room and a fuckin drip. You can take the St. Johns transfer money (Its like $80-150) from my income in two weeks, and make sure Scarborough or Toronto are ready for me. ------------------ They probably planned a surgery years ago and are just enjoying the show with some paid training for emergency services in the mean time. They get paid to look away. And if you die you die, if someone sends you to psych to delay the inevitable and still be proved right by the train, your probably right and we should probably just hope it doesn't rain. Who wants to bleed out on the tracks in the rain? Nobody. I hope the train is hitting me when the call comes thru for ambulance dispatch bro. Or when someone in your cop shop finally makes a call just to see where it will lead. How many blows is the fatality train horn? At least you know the sun will be shining upon my departure, And arrival to Heaven ---------------------------------------- I'm sad one or two of you are aware of the date though, and don't stop it either way. Just like the second time I was in Ben Martin-somethings apartment here in Kingston. I'm sad you let me go. I that accept you let me go, I am just sad you let me go. As a civilian, as a woman, as a sister, as a friend, and as someone. Just someone. I think the birds at the park are disappointed too.
If you have to cover your eyes to shoot me, I already forgive you, And I already thank you.

Tigers and Nash seek FA Cup glory
CURZON Ashton and Hyde United should in the peak of condition for tomorrow (Saturday's) FA Cup fourth qualifying round ties. Both are rested and at full strength.
The Tigers' scheduled league game at Whitby was called off on Tuesday, which allowed for a rehabilitation session which manager Nick Spooner described as really useful. Two masseurs were brought in to assist physio Lucy Graves with stretching and recovery exercises.
Curzon faced neighbours Ashton United in the Manchester Premier Cup. But, making no secret of his priorities, boss Adam Lakeland fielded what was effectively a youth XI only to be delighted with their performance in holding the Robins to a 1-1 draw before losing on penalties.
Post-match, Lakeland told the in-house media team: "I thought we were outstanding. I think everybody connected to our club should be incredibly proud of all those who played tonight against a pretty-much full-strength line-up.
"It was a game we could have probably done without but the young lads who played needed the minutes and it was an opportunity for us to have a look at some of them. Now, I'm please that we played the game.
"The lads who weren't involved trained and worked hard and now we go into our final preparations. We've got to work hard and make sure we're ready to go come 3 o'clock on Saturday.
"It's a really important game, one that we're looking forward to, but one that we know will be very, very difficult for us. We're going there as the underdogs, but we're 90 minutes from the first round proper and we've got to go there and give everything we've got."
Earlier today, Lakeland tersely confirmed his squad's status for the trip to the Bee Arena as "full squad, full bill of health".
Peterborough Sports, who were promoted to National League North at the end of last season via the Southern League play-offs after finishing second in the premier division, go into the tie on the back of three consecutive victories and having won their last six home games.
Sports, nicknamed the Turbines, have centre-back Connor Johnson available after he completed a three-game ban last weekend. They are also hoping right-back Isaiah Bazeley will be fit to return after injury.
Manager Jimmy Dean has signed Australian right-back Luca Doorbar-Baptist on a two-week trial and the former Nottingham Forest youngster could be involved against Curzon. Former Italian Serie C midfielder Diadier Camara appeared for Sports in Tuesday's 4-0 Hillier Cup defeat of Wellingborough.
Dean told the Peterborough Telegraph: "Curzon will be tough. They are enjoying a similar season to us and they obviously have big performances in them as they’ve won at Kidderminster and knocked out Scarborough in the last round. "We have played well against good sides as well and we are on a great run at home so hopefully that will work in our favour."
The Turbines' top scorers are former Gainsborough Mark Jones, with seven goals, and winger Jordan Nicholson with six. Jones has an impressive pedigree having played for Peterborough United, Nuneaton, Barnet, Brackley and Darlington.
HYDE UNITED fans will be looking for a much more upbeat performance than their team provided last Saturday when they lost 3-2 to Colne at the Project Solar UK Stadium. The general feeling was that the players were distracted, with their minds on the FA Cup tie at Buxton rather than the FA Trophy tie they were involved in.
Questions were also asked about Spooner's decision to drop popular left-back Javid Neavin to the bench, replacing him with new signing Josh Askew. Craig Ellison came into the side for star keeper Gio Bellagambi who had been recalled by parent club Huddersfield who promptly loaned him to Spennymoor. However, this morning, the Yorkshiremen supplied the Tigers with a new loanee, 18-year-old midfielder Sonny Whittingham.
Spooner insists his full-strength squad are ready for the fray after their restful week, adding: "We're really looking forward to the cup-tie. We know we're underdogs but it's a great opportunity for the lads to win and go through to the first round where they could come up against a professional club from the EFL. They're raring to go."
When the draw was made, Buxton looked to be beatable opponents. Promoted last season as NPL champions, their form was mixed and they were hovering above the relegation places. However, a 1-0 win at Spennymoor — their first away victory of the season — has transformed the atmosphere at the Tarmac Silverlands and provided an injection of confidence.
A lot of the credit was given to former Notts County midfielder Sam Osborne who was making his first appearance after being signed from Fylde.
Manager Jamie Vermiglio, who admitted he was impressed by Osbone's debut, put the much-needed victory down to spirit, saying: "We weren't brilliant with the ball. There were moments when we were really sloppy, but fans could see the desire, the heart, the roll your sleeves up mentality, and that's what wins you football matches."
He sees the FA Cup as a means of providing the team with some momentum to propel them up the league table but has warned that Hyde mustn't be underestimated.
The tie will be segregated and Tigers fans should enter the ground by the Mill Cliff turnstiles. Given the importance of the match, Hyde and Buxton being relatively close to each other, and a history of meetings that dates back to 1891, a big crowd is expected.
Winning clubs receive £9,375 while losers get £3,125.

Quarter Life Fitness - First Time at Physio
I am 3 weeks in since I started going back to the gym consistently. To be honest, 3 months of not hitting the gym REALLY sucks. I really wanted to ease my way into it because I knew I couldn't hit the same weights as I used to. It was so bad, I didn't add any weight 🙈, partly because I need to rebuild my foundation.
The one exercise I was excited for was benching, but the moment I tried the bar, my shoulder started to hurt. I couldn’t even do one push up without feeling pain. I think it has been long over due since my dragon boat days, but I finally decided to go to physio.
When I was a paddler, I had a shoulder injury after one of our big races. I was told to go to physio, get it checked out, but I was scared. I was trying out for U24 team, and I didn’t want to hear that I couldn’t paddle anymore (bad decision I know). Luckily it didn’t become to serious. I took a few weeks off, iced my shoulder and I was “good to go”. My shoulder would bother me sometimes but not always, but when it came back after all these years, I knew it was time to finally get it checked out. A friend at Afterburn suggested Physio FX near Scarborough Town Centre and I decided to try it out.
After my assessment my physiotherapist said the pain was coming from my supraspinatus tendon. Say wah??? That was my exact reaction.
Tumblr media
I’m no good at anatomy, but on google, it is one of the four rotator cuff muscles. The tendon is currently inflammed so when I do any internal rotation movements, the tendon is making contact with the humeral head, it causes the pain in my shoulder. I would have never understood, let alone known, if I didn’t go to physio.
After the assessment, was the beginning of the treatment. First she massaged the muscle, help to open it up. Then to help speed up the recovery we did an ultrasound and laser treatment. Sounds scary, but for the ultrasound it projects sound waves deep into the tissue to help the fluid circulation in the muscle. Then for the laser treatment, its similar to the Dr. Ho machine except it used electrical currents to also help with the healing (I forgot the explanation of what it actually does, BUT I can tell you it felt good after haha 😅). At the end, they gave me a resistant band to do exercises that will help me strengthen the muscle again. The good thing is I can still continue to workout, but I have to stop doing any exercises/movements that will agitate the muscle. And I will be going back for another session to help me with my recovery.
The main point of this post is GO TO PHYSIO! Physiotherapy 100% recommended. If you feel any pain, treatment and recovery is a important to become a stronger lifter. I wish I wasn’t stubborn in the past, but I’m happy I learned from my mistake.
*I can already hear Sam say “I told you so” “you should have listened to me”, and yes babe...you were right. 🙈😝

Physio went well and my children absolutely loved the trip out. They thought it was brilliant fun watching me struggle to do exercises! They also said that the coffee machine made the best hot chocolate EVER! The best part for me was that I am now down to just one crutch when I am out and about. If I am at home then I am allowed not to use a crutch at all. This also marks the start of being able to walk upstairs without a crutch and walking without having to put both feet on each step. It feels like a workout when I get to the top of the stairs, but it's worth it. I still can't make it up to our bedroom in the attic, but I don't think it'll be long!   After Physio we headed to Betty's at Harlow Carr for lunch, then we went in to Harlow Carr. I had a mobility scooter to get around. Yes, I looked a bit ridiculous, but I was part of the family again for the first time in over three weeks and it was blissful. I am aware that I am quite a way off total normality and being able to drive again, but it is all progress and I am going to take every single small win that I can! On Halloween I managed to walk around one long street in the village with the children. I enjoyed being part of it and seeing their faces as they knocked on doors. It's not something I ever did as a child, so I enjoy watching them go out.  Before I knew about my operation date, my daughter qualified for the North Yorkshire Cross Country finals. I was really looking forward to it, but sadly I couldn't go to watch her as it would have meant four hours in a car and standing all day. My husband took her and they had a fantastic day. She finished in the top 50 of girls in year four. Two years ago she wouldn't even run in sports day. She refused to be involved in any form of competitive sport. It's incredible how far she has come in such a short time. She really enjoys running and is clearly pretty good at it. Apparently she wasn't even out of breath at the end! I am so sad I didn't get to see her, but she had an amazing day with her dad (which finished off with a trip to the beach at Scarborough and a go on the arcades)! Sounds pretty perfect to me. I have an appointment with my consultant tomorrow and I am really hoping he will say I can drive again. I am not very good at relying on others or asking for help, so it's been tough not being able to drive my children to their various clubs. A friend of mine is driving me to the appointment and I am so grateful for that. I will let you know how I get on. HelpfulMum
